We have several weeks until Spring and Spring Training, but Bill Morgan with the Green Bay Blue Ribbons baseball joins the show to discuss the new year and new season. The Blue Ribbons are a semi-pro baseball team participating in both the Wisconsin State League and the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. Made up predominately of college-age players, the Blue Ribbons play their home games at historic Joannes Stadium on Green Bay's east side. Anders says that the movie is his heartfelt tribute to rural America's strength and perseverance. The movie stars Craig T. Dennis is joined by one of his pals from the Xana-crew, Bill Morgan, who is the co-author of a book called Collector's Guide To TV Toys & Memorabilia 1960s & 1970s. The book features every TV tie-in toy you remember from your childhood and a bunch that you never even knew existed. Bill talks about first getting obsessed with collecting when his ex was given a set of Three's Company trading cards as a kind of gift. Seeing the cards were numbered Bill wanted to collect them all and a new passion was born. Bill talks about shooting the photos for the book himself while his partner did most of the writing. He also discusses some of the TV shows featured in the book like The Brady Bunch, The Bionic Woman, Family Affair, Gilligan's Island, Charlie's Angels, Welcome Back Kotter and The Partridge Family and he explains why The Partridge Family bus toy was his 'white whale' as a collector. Bill Morgan, age 68, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. Services for Bill will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 19 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church with Dr. Cary Killough officiating. Everyone is encouraged to wear maroon to honor a faithful Texas Aggie.Bill was born to Bill and Rosalie Morgan on November 21, 1954, in Waco, Texas. He spent most of his life in Robinson. Bill was an avid baseball player during his youth. He graduated from Robinson High School in 1973. From there he went to Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie class of 1977. During this time, he married Julie Tandy. They were married almost 48 years, having two daughters, Melissa and Audrey. Bill was a civil engineer and worked in construction for many years.He was a long-time member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church where he was a tireless volunteer. He also gave of his time and talents to Little League Baseball, Shepherd's Heart Food Pantry, Beloved and Beyond Camp, and anyone who needed a hand.Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Rosalie Morgan. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Julie, daughter Melissa Buck and husband Cody, daughter Audrey Morgan and partner Miranda, 3 grandchildren; Emerson, Garrett, and Hadley, sister Marsha Hudson and husband J, nephew Jonathan Hudson, and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Robinson Little League, P.O. Box 11024, Waco, TX 76716.

Lennie is best known for his 40+ years working at Zildjian, most notably in Artist Relations, as well as other key roles, and John is joined by Lennie's daughter, Therese DiMuzio, and old friends and Zildjian alumni Colin Schofield, Jerry Donegan, Paul Francis, John Sorenson and Bill Morgan, along with Rob Wallis of Hudson Music, DCI Video and Drummers Collective. The group shared stories about Lennie during their time working at Zildjian, many involving Lennie's storied friendship with the legendary Armand Zildjian. The recurring theme throughout the episode is how much Lennie loved working in the Drum Industry and with drummers, and how much he was loved by everyone who ever met him. They also talk about Lennie's hilarious memoir, “Tales From The Cymbal Bag” which is still available through Amazon.com. Lennie passed away in March 2015.
