Today, I want to explain to you why we don't only trade the forex market. We look at other markets as well. So let's talk about that more right now. Hey there, Forex Traders! It's Andrew Mitchem here at The Forex Trading Coach with video and podcast number 593. We don't only trade the Forex market. Now being called The Forex Trading Coach you would assume that we trade only the forex market. Well we used to. And that's because years ago all that was available to us were forex pairs. And like the GBP/USD and USD/JPY, USD/CHF, etc. the main pairs. And then over time more and more pairs. What were called exotics or minor pairs got added. Things like NZD/CAD and then other pairs got added as times gone on, like ZAR/JPY, things like that, some more and more have been added. And then years ago they introduced a couple of metals and we could trade gold and silver against the US. More metals now available. And then more recently we've got access to more metal markets. So example Gold and Silver against the Pound and against the Uen and against the Chinese Yuan and different crosses like that, but also more metals such as, Palladium and Platinum and Copper. We trade Indices, Commodities and Cryptos.   We can trade indices like the Nasdaq and different American markets and different Canadian and Swiss franc markets, Yen markets. We can trade, things like commodities. We can trade coffees and Cocoas. We can trade cryptos, Bitcoins and Ethereums, etc.. So the beauty of trading today on a platform such as MetaTrader 5 is that you have access to so many more markets. More trading opportunities for high quality patterns. And you could think of that and go, well that's just going to create more work. Andrew. No, not at all. What it does is it gives you the opportunity once you know what you're looking for, and once you have a strategy that you can scan through the markets really quick, it's giving you more and more opportunity to look for the pattern on a higher quality chart. So for example, years ago you might have said, well, this trade on the GBP/USD, it's okay. It doesn't quite fit my criteria but it's okay. And you might have taken that trade. Rightly or wrongly. Whereas now you've got the opportunity to scan through more and more markets. And so the way that we trade I don't particularly care what I trade. It's the pattern that I'm looking for. It's where has that candle formation appeared within the chart. Has it got room to move to? The profit target has the stop loss got protection? All these type of things that we look for. And so if I'm trading the pattern, I'm giving myself a very high probability chance of success, because I'm looking for only the highest quality patterns, regardless of the market or direction. So simply because I live in New Zealand, it doesn't mean I have to trade New Zealand dollar pairs more, or I have to trade the EUR/USD because it's the biggest traded forex pair. Not at all. Trades I have open right now on non-FX markets. As an example, I've got a a monthly chart trade on Cafaro, which is one of the coffee markets on the commodities. I've got two weekly chart trades open right now on Dogecoin and Solana.

Jamie Levy, President and CEO of Generation Mining Limited (TSX:GENM, OTCQB: GENMF), joins me for an update on their fully-permitted and shovel-ready Marathon Copper-Palladium Project in Northwestern  Ontario.  We talk resources, key metrics from the Feasibility Study, options for the upcoming mine financing, and the potential for funding support from the province of Ontario.   We start off talking about he robust resources at Marathon with 1.1 billion lbs of copper, ~4 million ounces of palladium, and 1.3 million ounces of platinum, with some additional co-credits from gold and silver.   Jamie highlights the importance of developing domestic sources of these strategic metals in Canada, and the interest from the provincial and federal governments on expediting the construction of new mines and sources of supply in country.   The Feasibility Study estimated a Net Present Value (using a 6% discount rate) of C$1.07 billion, an Internal Rate of Return of 28%, and a 1.9-year payback based on the 3-yr trailing average metal prices at the effective date of the Technical Report. Over the anticipated 13-year mine life, the Marathon Project is expected to produce 2,161,000 ounces of palladium, 532 million lbs of copper, 488,000 ounces of platinum, 160,000 ounces of gold and 3,051,000 ounces of silver in payable metals.    We discuss the capital stack coming together starting off with the Wheaton Precious Metals stream, which consisted of an early deposit of $40 million (received) and then an upcoming $200M construction payment for 100% gold and 22% platinum production. Endeavour Financing has also helped set up a mandate letter for banking syndicate of Export Development Canada, ING Capital LLC and Societe Generale to arrange a Senior Secured Project Finance Facility of up to $540M. Conditional on final diligence and debt capacity.  Additionally, there are ongoing discussions for $200M of deeply subordinated debt, and the potential for government grants.   Wrapping up we discussed the experience of the team in developing and building prior mines, and why they'd prefer to build Marathon internally, but are still open to the options of JV partners or a project scale if it was the best value creation for shareholders.     If you have any questions for Jamie regarding Generation Mining, then please email those in to me at Shad@kereport.com.    Click here to follow the latest news from Generation Mining

Does Salvator Mundi deserve to be a strong favorite for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle? If not, who stands out against him? We analyse Willie Mullins' runner and provide value recommendations, including one horse that could significantly shorten from the 14/1 currently offered by Geoff Banks. With The New Lion a red-hot favorite for the Turners Novices' Hurdle, we ask: have people overlooked the poor record of Challow Hurdle winners at the Cheltenham Festival? Considering that, who can beat him? There's a big disagreement about The Yellow Clay, while Adam shares a 20/1 dark horse for the race. The Potato Race is often a minefield, but Adam has a strong each-way fancy. We also delve into the intriguing juvenile hurdle division and ask if any contenders could step up to the Supreme. Adam shares a strong theory and a bet for the race. Horses discussed: Salvator Mundi, Romeo Coolio, Kaid d'Authie, Kopek Des Bordes, Workahead, Kawaboomga, The New Lion, The Yellow Clay, Final Demand, Potters Charm, Irancy, Jax Junior, Funiculi Funicula, Jet Blue, Zillow, Redemption Day, Regent's Stroll, Lulamba, East India Dock, Hello Neighbour, Lady Vega Allen, Palladium, Sainte Lucie, Mondo Man, Charlus, Live Conti, Stencil. Today, we've got another segment of the podcast called Big Fat Five. This is where I invite my favorite drummers on the show to break down the five records that helped shape their approach to the instrument. This format also inspired my book, Drummers on Drumming, which is available now as a paperback or ebook on Amazon. Today's guest is Jared Shavelson. I met Jared through a mutual buddy and Big Fat Five alum, Mike Robinson. Jared is the real deal. He studied jazz in college but left early to kickstart his career—and it's safe to say that decision paid off. Over the years, he's played with Seal, The Bronx, Mariachi El Bronx, Joyce Manor, The Hope Conspiracy, Paint It Black, The Aquabats, and so many others. I just saw him perform with Mariachi El Bronx on New Year's Eve, opening for Morrissey at The Palladium. He was playing a cocktail kit, and the Afro-Cuban rhythms he was laying down were absolutely insane—I was completely blown away. Now, we were supposed to record this a few days ago, but life in LA had other plans. Between the fires and travel chaos, it was hard to pin down a time. Jared ended up flying out of Los Angeles Thursday night, only to get stuck in Atlanta during a snowstorm when his flight was canceled. After being stranded at the airport for 18 hours, he decided to help pass the time by hopping on the mic with me. That's why the audio in this episode might be a little rough—picture Jared huddled in the corner of a busy terminal while we recorded. --- Get Your Copy of the Drummers on Drumming Book Today!
