Do you feel like you're unworthy and things won't work the way you want them to be just because you're now in your 40s with clear physical signs of aging? I recently turned 39, just a year away from turning 40, and it's no doubt noticed that my gray hairs keep on popping out these days. And as we age, we tend to think that we're not really successful just because we're getting old. Well, let me tell you this – yes, we're getting old, but that in and of itself is a gift! Join me today as I tell you why and encourage you to live your golden years in peace, overcoming your past, and helping people do good things! “You are so much more; you are so infinite. Therefore, a couple of gray hairs on your head shouldn't have you stumped for too long, because if you're too stumped and upset about it, then that just means that you're just resisting evolution. Evolution is evolution. Embrace it. It's awesome. Everything's gonna be okay.” – Keith Kalfas Why do you have to listen to today's episode. 02:54 – “You can go into depression, but sometimes, unless you have a real serious problem, you don't have to stay there.” When bad things happen, we unconsciously stay there, clinging to these old identities, allowing us to not face the next chapter of our life. 05:12 – “Maybe I'm a late bloomer, but it's not easy for a guy in his 20s to perceive himself as a mature, masculine man.” Gray hairs can also be a wonderful thing, letting people recognize you as an adult and not just some kid. I once had a client who referred to me as a kid, and I almost got mad at him, but then I realized maybe he did because I perceived and carried myself like a kid. 10:08 – “When you become an old man, those are supposed to be your golden years, where you have projects that are passion projects, or maybe you're retired, but you are doing and living life on your terms, and you're healthy, and you're vibrant.” Your old man years should be your golden years. Live your life in bliss. You wouldn't want to grow up as a bitter old man. Consciousness is not bound by space and time. 15:57 – “You're so trapped in the past and why things might not work that you can't even let go of that bullshit for a second to just wake the fuck up and realize that you are crushing it right now.” Feeling unworthy is like bad programming; you start thinking, and it flows, and you feel it. Don't sell out on your life, on your dreams. Come from a space of conscious choice and know that you're worthy. 19:40 – “When you're at peace, and you transmit peace, others around you will feel calmer, and their day will be calmer.” People can't move towards real wealth because they don't have themselves figured out. Success in the industry starts from your success from within. Be at peace. 26:53 – “Somebody else's negative behavior doesn't have to affect you.” Just because it feels comfortable doesn't mean it's good for you. Sometimes, a season of discomfort might be what's necessary for you to evolve and move on. You can and you will. Sometimes you may feel that life is hopeless. This is because you were making difficult decisions and choosing tough choices. It's challenging when you go through those hard things and just breathe and be present with them. What will make you happy? Chasing all your dreams and putting yourself in misery because all you are pursuing is success and money, thinking it will make you happy? Well, it might make you happy, but you might end up miserable if you're trading your life to get it. So I hope you are leaning toward an abundance of love, peace, prosperity, and well-being. If you are going through hard times, I urge you not to resist. Instead, try to remain very present at that time and find your inner peace. I encourage you today to listen to today's episode. My focus is on you. I care about your life. I care about your well-being. I want to see you succeed. “But how can you get to the point where you are? You let go of all that stuff, and then you become fun. And you say, you know, it's okay.” - Keith Kalfas Why do you have to listen to today's episode. 1:35 - “I want to say that you're not alone. There's an inner candle flame that never flickers. And that is your hope.” You are not alone. Everything might not turn out okay, but you are your strength. Love yourself again. Appreciate life and everything that surrounds you. 6:04 - “You don't need to go through any more dramatic or traumatic experiences; you've already been through all that shit. And now is the time for you to finally just walk into your destiny.” Let go and accept what you have learned on this journey. Upgrade your identity based on what you discovered. Be present with the life that you have. 10:54 - “There's a part of the consciousness when you dream, the superconscious, and the subconscious. When you feel safe, your nervous system relaxes and goes into a place where the sympathetic nervous system relaxes. See that your muscles will unconsciously tense up, and you have to consciously relax them habitually.” Set a time to relax and let go of your fear. Scientifically, your consciousness rests and moves back into a sine wave. Your consciousness will be perfectly balanced in harmony. Thus it will be easier to think more straightly. 18:51 - “Your imagination is the highest level of intelligence. Einstein even said you have implementation. Then you have unification which is managing other people's higher state of consciousness to do leveraged physical work for tons of people, then you have the highest, which is communication. There is only one level that can surpass all others: imagination. As you relax and allow yourself to enter a flow state, you will be able to see and experience beautiful ideas and enthusiasm. Why am I not moving on to the next level? Why am I still here despite working my tail off? This is what I asked myself. I then realized I needed to let go, to walk my own path. Although we all look up to heroes and people we admire, we must never forget that we also have a journey to travel. We all strive to achieve our goals. Yours is yours. Today, let me share how I got myself untrapped from the fear and despair a few years ago. “See your life from a place of love and abundance, well-being, strength, and courage. Then, give yourself the chance to go out and turn the chapter, the page in your life, to hit this new chapter. This year is your time to shine. This is where you're going to crush it. Opportunities will flow like a river, and you'll be wise and smart. Some of your heroes you might have even passed. Let go and trust yourself. Take that shovel and start carving out your own path in life. Put on your back, work boots, and freefall into infinity, and stop being afraid. The only way you're going to get to the next step is you're going to have to let go of old ideas, old identities, which means you're going to have to upgrade your identity, take a deep breath and let go, install healthy boundaries, and have difficult conversations with people around you.” “Whatever you do, I want you to celebrate your accomplishments and look at how far you've come because if you don't celebrate your accomplishments and you're always looking at f*ckers on social media that are bragging about all the things that they're doing, you might discount your own hard work and say ‘Well, I don't have what that guy has yet, so my accomplishments suck.' More often than not, we find ourselves unstoppably scrolling through our phones because, at some point, we're already exhausted enough to our deepest points. No energy left to move. Lost ourselves against all negative emotions. As a result, we think we cannot change our world. But the truth is we are. We can change the world by living by our purpose. What do the research findings from FLFE vs. non-FLFE show about the positive effects of high resonance fields in the user's environment? If the user's LOC or their environment is very low in the LOC, will your high energy field raise them to that level or will it adjust to an equilibrium? 5. Have you ever measured the LOC at megalithic sites such as pyramids and Stonehenge? 6. Why does the cellphone service go up to a LOC of 590? Whereas, the home LOC goes to 560? 7. So, since according to Dr. Hawkins it requires a lot of pain to be 1,000 LOC, I'll wait till I become spirit again to power up to infinity. However, I'm familiar with all of Dr. Hawkins's video lectures and books. I recall he did say that the human nervous system is being upgraded to hold more energy without the added pain in the body. He coined this branch out of humanity, homo-spiritus. He also found that there are multiple realities for some people. What are your thoughts on these calibrations in his work? 11. If we want to improve our results, and the brain is involved in everything that we do, and everything that we are, then we must put our attention towards understanding how we can optimize this organ—our brain.We all know that 2020 was difficult for many people, but those who struggled the most were those who already were struggling. The Centers for Disease Control found that from a survey in June 2020, adults in the United States reported “considerably elevated adverse mental health conditions associated with COVID-19”[i] and that “40.9% of over 5,000 respondents reported an adverse mental or behavioral health condition, including symptoms of anxiety disorder, trauma-related symptoms, new or increased substance use, or thoughts of suicide.”[ii]When I was introduced to Aneesh Chaudhry, through a mutual friend, you will see why I took one look at the work he is doing and knew immediately that I had to interview him in our first podcast to launch 2021, to provide some hope and direction for those who might either know someone who is struggling at this time or going through their own personal struggle.Aneesh dealt with significant Mental Illness and Addiction through his teenage years into his early twenties. He was diagnosed with conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar, and this led him to search for answers as to why he was feeling the way he did. A Major shift occurred for Aneesh when he had his brain scanned in 2013 at Amen Clinics. He learned that the brain can heal itself, where his brain might be imbalanced, leading him to have the symptoms he was having. These answers gave him hope and direction that catapulted him into years of diligent study and lifestyle change. He got his bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration of Behavioral Neuroscience. Aneesh also has a list of certifications in the area of health and wellness, including a Brain Health Coach Certification through Amen Clinics, making him a true expert in the field of Mental Health, Wellbeing and Neuroscience.Welcome Aneesh, thank you so much for agreeing to come on the podcast to share your incredible story that really does defy the odds, showing the dedication you have in this area.Q1: Aneesh, when we first spoke, on New Year’s Eve of all days, it really hit me that you understood this topic at the brain level, and this means that you have a grasp of something that we were never taught about in school, and most families that have these issues usually end up sweeping problems like addiction, mental illness or depression, under a rug, never to be discussed or addressed out loud, which doesn’t solve the problem. I shared with you that when I first encountered someone with a serious addiction, I was at a loss of what to do. Now this was going back 20 years ago, when I didn’t find out all my answers to whatever I wanted to solve through Google (that had just gone live a few years before this). I spent hours at the library reading books, trying to understand alcoholism, and why one person can have one drink and not be bothered with a second, while another person just can’t do this. It baffled me that something so important was never taught to us in school. Can you share just how deep your addiction to marijuana and alcohol was, how you think it began, and how were you able to defy the odds and make it to the other side to recovery?Q2: For people listening, this can be a challenging time of year, (with the Pandemic aside which we all know amplified this issue) whether they are struggling with an addiction themselves, or living with someone else whose struggling which is just as stressful. This time of year can be the perfect time to make some personal changes. Hawkin’s “Power vs Force” on EPISODE #70[iv] and we did speak with the hosts of the BrainTools Podcast Samuel Holston and Kirin Goy for EPISODE #97[v] on “The Neuroscience Behind our Habits, and Addictions” but can we go a bit deeper into first of all understanding what’s happening at the brain level and what exactly is involved in stopping the addictive behavior from the point of view of someone who has been there, come to the other side, and now wants to help others do the same? I want to go to the level of understanding what triggers the brain to engage in something we know is bad for us, and how do we break these triggers?Q3: Aneesh, now that you have this understanding, I love how you want to make an impact on other people’s lives and educate our youth on this topic. Since you are certified with Dr. Amen as one of his brain coaches, I think it’s important to note something that I heard him say. If you are a parent, and you know that addiction runs in your family, Dr. Amen[vi] talks about the importance of having a discussion with your kids when they are old enough to understand, by saying something like, “Since addiction runs in the family, I want you to be prepared that you might like alcohol more than other people” or something along those lines. I know that Health and Wellness and this topic finally making its way into our schools, which I think is great progress, since it wasn’t there at all when I was growing up and having these conversations with our children can reverse the cycle of this disease. Can you share why you were drawn to working with children, your vision with your Foundation for Youth[vii] and the work you are doing in our schools to beat the addiction cycle?
