By all accounts, Zach Ertz is one of the most beloved players in modern Eagles history. Not only does he rank statistically as the top tight end to ever play for the team, he caught the decisive touchdown to bring Philadelphia its first Super Bowl victory, earned multiple Pro Bowl selections, and was regarded as a locker room leader. But for as strong a mark as he left on the city, Ertz had a couple tough moments with the franchise, experiences that caused him to look inward and face his demons. During a recent visit with The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane, the 35-year old Ertz reflected on how finding strength through faith helped him overcome an embarrassing mistake and bring greater balance to his life. 00:00 The infamous olé 06:00 Overcoming shame 12:04 Finding faith 22:15 A frosty, tense finish to a memorable run 32:00 Could there be a comeback? What if time isn't linear—and your past, present, and future selves are all happening at once? After a week of uncanny synchronicities, Jane found herself asking a wild question: Are we living inside a holographic universe where every version of us exists simultaneously? In this Sunday Solo, she explores time travel, higher selves, and the strange moments that make you wonder if reality might be far more magical than we think. Along the way, she reflects on connecting with younger and future versions of ourselves, the power of listening to intuition, and the strange and beautiful ways the universe sometimes seems to confirm we're exactly where we're meant to be. This episode is part philosophy, part story time, and part invitation to consider a powerful question: What would your future self thank you for doing today? In This Episode Jane explores: The concept of the holographic universe and how each of us might contain the whole within us Why time may be layered rather than linear A series of recent synchronistic moments that left her wondering if time travel might be real The practice of connecting with your future self for guidance How speaking to your younger self can be deeply healing A moving moment when Jane heard her higher self say: “We are so proud of you.” Why regret might be the most important compass for living a brave life Stories Jane Shares ✨ A spontaneous meditation journey where someone's wish to meet their future self appeared to align across time. ✨ A deeply emotional moment during meditation when Jane heard encouragement from her higher self—only to receive the same exact words from a special human. ✨ A mediumship experience where a beloved high school friend came through with a message: “You need to dance.” ✨ Why conversations with her younger self (including a very opinionated six-year-old Jane) have become part of her healing practice. Questions to Reflect On Jane leaves listeners with a few powerful questions: What would your future self thank you for doing right now? If you reached the end of your life, what would you regret not trying? Are there dreams waiting for you to commit? Announcements ✨ Higher Calling Program Jane is currently enrolling a few final spots in her Higher Calling program. An auction lot of six dusty cycling-themed bottles of wine from the 80s provides the inspiration behind Velo Vino, a podcast mini-series that explores some tales from the pro peloton's history through rosé-tinted spectacles.Cycling journalists Felix Lowe and Graham Willgoss invite you to join their trip down memory lane with professional wine buff Chris Maybin as they uncork these aged bottles and sift through the stories and sentiments behind the sediment. In episode 1, the journey from barrel to bidon begins with our intrepid tasters cracking open two bottles of Côtes de Ventoux, produced in 1988 to commemorate the life and career of the legendary French climber René Vietto. The trio discuss the achievements of a quasi-tragic figure who twice came so close to winning the Tour, while Chris explains the potential perils of reacquainting pedal-powered plonk with oxygen after the best part of four decades in a bottle. Special guest Max Leonard (author of Lanterne Rouge and Higher Calling) also addresses the infamous myth that remains synonymous with Vietto's career – the claim that he ordered a doctor to remove a part of his body during the 1947 Tour de France. All four episodes of Velo Vino are brought to you in association with Rouleur magazine and Nyetimber, the English sparkling wine producer and proud backer of British Cycling. Slip into the sipstream of Felix, Graham and Chris as they raise a glass to some Grand Tour tannins of yesteryear.Produced by Matthew Vines. Hosted on Acast. In this illuminating episode of Gateways to Awakening, Yasmeen Turayhi sits down with Cindy Reynolds, soul coach, author of Soul Seeker and Soul Bridges, and founder of NeuroFit — for a deep conversation on intuition, emotional mastery, and the intelligence of the soul. With a background spanning software engineering, QEEG brain mapping, and spiritual practice, Cindy bridges neuroscience and spirituality to offer a grounded, practical framework for working with life's challenges. A Higher CallingPhilippians 1:12-26Finding Joy, Part 2January 11, 2026Pastor Gary Watkins
We're joined today by Dr Willie Nolte with a sermon on the History of Jesus and his purpose here on earth.
In this final Sunday Solo episode of the year, Jane Morgan reflects on the beliefs we inherit, absorb, and unknowingly allow to run our inner operating systems—long after they've stopped serving us. Through a deeply personal story from her own therapeutic and spiritual work, Jane explores how mistaken beliefs can calcify into powerful internal rules that shape our reactions, relationships, intuition, and sense of safety. She shares a profound moment of insight around a core belief she discovered—that being “wrong” meant danger—and how, with support, she was able to release it. This episode is an invitation to slow down during the holiday season, take a compassionate look at the stories guiding your life, and gently ask: Is this belief still true? Rather than offering fixes or formulas, Jane encourages curiosity, softness, and self-trust—especially when listening to intuition feels harder than pleasing others. With reflections on meditation, two-way prayer, intuition, inner child work, and honoring your own “no,” this episode is a warm fireside companion for the darker days leading up to the solstice. As Medium Curious heads into a short winter break, Jane also shares what's coming in the new year—including exciting guests, a new round of Clair Club, and an upcoming Higher Calling cohort. ✨ In This Episode, We Explore: How mistaken beliefs form—and why they often feel impossible to remove A personal story of uncovering a deeply embedded belief around being “wrong” Why many beliefs once protected us, even if they now create suffering How moments of emotional upset can point to hidden belief systems The idea of “snapshotting” reactions to gently investigate what's underneath How meditation, intuition, and spiritual support can reveal stuck stories Using two-way prayer or intuitive writing to access inner guidance Trusting your intuition—even when it disappoints others Why honoring yourself isn't selfish (and may be long overdue)

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.” — Proverbs 12:15Wise financial decisions don't happen in a vacuum—they often require wise counsel. But how do you know if the person giving you advice shares your convictions and values? Brian Cochran joins us today to explore how biblical wisdom should shape not just our decisions, but the voices we trust.Brian Cochran is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®), and also serves as the Chief Stewardship Officer at John Moore Associates. The “Why” Shapes EverythingAt John Moore Associates, a recently celebrated milestone tells a powerful story—over $50 million in charitable giving facilitated through the families they serve. This achievement isn't about accolades or financial performance. It reflects a deeper belief: money is a gift from God, but it was never meant to be the ultimate goal for an individual. It's a tool designed for Kingdom impact.Certified Kingdom Advisors® take a distinct approach to financial planning. While they certainly aim to help clients grow their wealth, they are equally—if not more—committed to helping them give it away with wisdom and purpose. The core question isn't just, “How can you accumulate more?” but, “How can you steward it more faithfully?”Their mission is to walk alongside families and help them become wise and generous stewards of the resources God has entrusted to them. That vision informs every client meeting, every piece of advice, and every long-term strategy. They don't see themselves merely as business professionals—they see themselves as called to influence families toward biblically grounded financial decisions that reflect God's character and priorities. They refer to this role as being “stewards of stewards.” Their job is to help others manage God's money in a way that aligns with His will—not just to build bigger portfolios, but to foster hearts that reflect His generosity. The Art of Financial PlanningAlthough financial planning encompasses technical elements such as taxes, investments, and estate strategies, it is far more than just numbers. Financial planning is as much an art as it is a science. That's because personal values, priorities, and convictions ultimately shape every financial decision. Two families with identical balance sheets may receive vastly different advice depending on the worldview and values of their advisor. Even the most technically sound recommendations can lead a client astray if they don't align with their faith or purpose.Families excited to step into greater generosity have occasionally faced resistance—not from financial limitations, but from professionals who didn't understand why anyone would want to give so much away. Similarly, some clients have discovered their portfolios include investments in industries that conflict with their convictions, such as pornography, abortion, or addictive products. These disconnects are more common than many realize. When an advisor doesn't understand a client's “why,” they may unintentionally work against it.When Values AlignBy contrast, working with an advisor who shares a client's biblical values can be transformational. Rather than resist generosity, they champion it. They help clients move beyond conventional financial goals and pursue eternal ones—cheering them on as they give, invest, and plan with Kingdom purpose. This values alignment also fosters deeper conversations about contentment and purpose. Advisors who understand the biblical call to stewardship help clients shift from an accumulation mindset to one that asks, “How much is enough?” That change can lead to greater peace, joy, and impact. It also affects how clients invest. With the guidance of a biblically aligned advisor, many discover new confidence and clarity by investing in companies or funds that reflect their values. In many cases, clients feel more engaged and excited knowing that their investments are not only earning a return but also honoring God.Questions to Ask a Potential AdvisorFor those seeking this kind of partnership, here are a few essential questions to ask any prospective advisor:What are your core values, both personally and as a firm? How do those values shape the way you serve your clients? How do you define success in a client relationship? How are you compensated? Are there any potential conflicts of interest? Most importantly: How will your advice support and strengthen my faith? These questions open the door to alignment—and can help avoid unnecessary confusion or compromise down the road. Many Christians are already working with an advisor, but over time begin to sense that their values may not fully align. That tension shouldn't be ignored. It may be time to ask the same questions listed above. If the answers fall short, it might be wise to explore a new advisor who shares a biblical worldview.Though changing advisors can feel daunting, staying with one who doesn't understand or support a client's convictions may come at a greater cost.A Higher Calling in Financial AdviceUltimately, stewardship is at the heart of every financial decision. Money is not just a personal asset—it's a divine responsibility. A truly aligned financial advisor serves not just as a guide for wealth management but also as a partner in helping Christians honor God with all that He has entrusted to them. For those looking to take that next step with confidence, a nationwide directory of Certified Kingdom Advisors is available at FaithFi.com.
