Dennis T from Alaska joined SA on July 29th 2014. After 40 years of searching for a solution, he was finally introduced to SA at age 52. He asked for a sponsor on day 1 and has worked his program every day since. He states that helping another sexaholic through the steps brings about the greatest connection to his Higher Power than anything else. Being used by God, on a daily basis, has changed his life and his relationships. Living free one day at a time by utterly abandoning himself to his Higher Power has given him a new way of living. Dennis speaks to us today on staying connected in recovery's garden.Reco12 is all about exploring the common threads of addiction and sharing tools and hope from those on a similar path. Dennis T in Alaska is sober since July 29th, 2014. He came into the program after experiencing 40 years of pain and destruction and being unable to stop. The program has given him principles and tools to practice and live by on a daily basis. His experience showed him that only "not doing" left him sick and suffering, and the only path to freedom was by utterly abandoning himself to the God of his understanding, then as time passed everything began to change. He speaks to us today on this concept that sober is not well.Reco12 is all about exploring the common threads of addiction and sharing tools and hope from those on a similar path. Dennis T shares his ESH on healthy interactions between the SA and their spouse when first entering in the program and the S-Bomb has been dropped.
Dennis T comes to us from Alaska. His sobriety date is July 29, 2014. He suffered from sexholism, drugs and alcohol abuse for more that 45 years as a way to find freedom from the pain of early childhood sexual abuse. By the Grace of his Higher Power he is living free one day at a time, through working and practicing the spiritual principles he found in the program of recovery. His hope is that in sharing today it may help one person find a way out of the torturous bondage of their hellish addiction as he goes over the Four Absolutes in recovery and in Step 10. Make sure you bring your 4th Edition of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous ready to read, mark, and take notes!

Gast in unserer heutigen 22.
