American actress
POPULARITY
Sarah Nicklin, the beloved of indie horror, has been working in horror for nearly two decades. Sarah's career in film has expanded traction in recent years for her diverse involvement in horror movies, music videos, shorts, and series. She is also stunt performer and producer. She has worked with many horror legends, including Eileen Dietz, Lisa Wilcox, Doug Jones and Dee Wallace, just to name a few. __________________________________________________ Sarah is an amazing and talented actress; I say this because if anyone can act in a horror movie about a serial killer and emotionally connect with the victim vicariously, then nominate her for an Oscar! Sarah's experience working on set in regard to having a dark history just makes the audience want to know and watch more. To be on set and reenact the last moments (for some) of the deceased and those who survived. I could not imagine what was going through their minds as they were filming. We mostly talked about her character and Ted Bundy. We also posed the theory (mainly a question) as to why serial killers do what they do. There are so many unanswered questions and variables for what makes them [serial killers] tick. To anyone who has not seen this movie, I highly recommend either renting it on Amazon or going to your nearest store and purchase the DVD. Watching parts of the movie through the point of view of the killer along with the ominous build-ups is pure genius. This strategy is what makes a director earn awards and stand out among the rest. Be sure to follow Sarah on Instagram for news and upcoming projects.
In this special bonus episode from our time at The 2023 Eerie Horror Fest, John and I spoke with Horror Movie Legends; Nancy Loomis and Eileen Dietz. You may know Nancy from her role as Laurie Strode's best friend, Annie, from the 1978 classic Halloween as well as roles in Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, The Fog, and Assault on Precinct 13. Eileen Dietz has done everything from sitcoms to horror movies. And with a career that spans decades, she is best known for scaring the hell out of us as the face of Pazuzu/Captain Howdy in The Exorcist as well as serving as Linda Blair's double for the film. It was an absolute treat for us to talk about their time working on these films. Special thanks to The Eerie Horror Fest for making this interview possible! Find The Cinema Psychos Show on Youtube -

We are thrilled to welcome our first celebrity guest, Eileen Dietz! Eileen has an expansive career that covers many genres, but horror fans know her best for her work on The Exorcist. She was the face of Captain Howdy aka Pazuzu and filled in for Linda Blair for some of the scenes that were too intense to film using an actual child. And since we did an extended series on the Manson Family, she also talks about being in the original TV movie version of Helter Skelter. spookyas.com patreon.com/witchfinder Music by Occultic Overtones

This week the Two Gay Geeks have a round table discussion with three "Scream Queens" about February being Women in Horror Month. We have our friend Patricia Chica, Eileen Dietz, and Michelle Romano. Patricia is a Director and Producer of films and has created several wonderful horror shorts. Eileen Dietz is a Scream Queen going back to the days of The Exorcist. Michelle Romano is an Actress, Director and Producer of horror films and recently was accepted into the Producers Guild of America. We chat with them about their careers and Women in Horror Month. About Women in Horror Month Women in Horror Month (WiHM) is an international, grassroots initiative, which encourages supporters to learn about and showcase the underrepresented work of women in the horror industries. Whether they are on the screen, behind the scenes, or contributing in their other various artistic ways, it is clear that women love, appreciate, and contribute to the horror genre. WiHM celebrates these contributions to horror throughout the year via the official WiHM blog, Ax Wound, The Ax Wound Film Festival, and with the official WiHM event/project database in February. This database—in conjunction with the WiHM social media fan base—actively promotes do-it-yourself annual film screenings, blogs/articles, podcasts, and any other form of creative media with the ultimate goal of helping works by and featuring women reach a wider audience. This inclusive and positive movement is open to everyone, just as we believe the horror genre should be. In our second segment, we talk briefly about our thoughts of Star Trek: Discovery (no spoilers). In our third segment, we highlight recent articles posted to the tggeeks.com n the past week.
