The Litecast is home from Sin City recapping a weekend in the desert and an absolute domination of UNLV by the Cyclones. Matt, Austin, and Dylan break down the game and try to find meaning for the rest of the season. Maybe we just needed to beat somebody really badly for the confidence boost. Up next is a trip to Waco to play Baylor. We've crunched the numbers and their schedule so far is terrible. But the Bears should not be taken lightly, and we know the players to look out for. The New Big 12 is continuing to win games and the Pac-12 decidedly is not so we are working to brand ourselves as better than the Alliance. Plus, a little conspiracy corner comes out as we ask the question: are we sure the Big 12 won't raid the Pac-12? Lastly, we make picks for the upcoming college football weekend. Shoutout to our sponsor Es Tas Bar & Grill and to all the Cyclones who took over Las Vegas!

The Litecast is back to recap an absolute dud of a CyHawk game. Matt, Dylan, and Austin break down when they knew things were going wrong, how badly the in-game experience was, and eventually segue into some bigger picture things for the rest of the season. Is there a QB controversy right now? Do we have concerns about Iowa State's ability to compete in the Big 12? And just what will it take to get the offense back on track?Elsewhere, the Big 12 made the additions of Cincinnati, BYU, Houston, and UCF official. Who is the most exciting new additon? Iowa State is sure to create a rivalry with someone. And these new schools give us an opportunity to reminisce on some Big 12 legends (not leaders) like Taysom Hill, Blake Bortles, Case Keenum, Jimmer Fredette, and more. We finish with a visit to the Wide Right moneyline because the poor start to football season isn't limited to just Iowa State on the field. Thanks to Es Tas Bar & Grill for sponsoring. Stay safe and gamble responsibly if you'll be in Vegas this weekend.

It's a loaded brand new episode of the Litecast for rivalry week! Matt, Austin, and Dylan start by breaking down what we saw on the field in Week 1 against UNI. There were a lot of things to improve, but some stuff we liked as well. Eventually we landed in a good place. From there, we did a little bit of breakdown on Iowa's win over Indiana and how we see this weekend's game playing out.ESPN's Chris Fallica, aka The Bear, aka the Unofficial Mayor of Ames joins the show to talk all things College GameDay. We got a rating on Ames as a host, what it's like having Lee Corso back in person, how the host gets selected each weekend, and the casual fan's guide to why they should watch on Saturday. We also got to the bottom of Bear's affinity for Iowa State which goes surprisingly far back to the 90s. Of course we had to ask about Matt Campbell and how he's perceived, plus if Kirk Herbstreit is cool with our fans again. Lastly, we had to talk some gambling and get Bear's guide to surveying the board on a given weekend, plus a little preview for what he likes on Saturday. Thanks to our sponsor Es Tas Bar & Grill for making this happen! Go Cyclones!

Matt gives his special teams preview. And lastly, we predict how the game will play out. With the news of the Big Ten/ACC/Pac 12 alliance, it's time for another realignment segment. Football season is finally upon us. To get the fanbase in the spirit, Austin, Dylan, and Matt are going game by game for some predictions and how we think the season will play out. We all ended up with the same record, but not the same path to get there. Spoiler alert: there will be slip ups, so find out where we think they'll happen. After that, we tackle the biggest cliches we expect to see throughout the season, both for Iowa State and the Big 12 at-large. Lastly, we wrapped this episode up with a draft of our top tailgating things. It's purposely vague, which leaves a lot of room for interpretation and a lot of room for fun. We love football and can't wait for the season to finally kickoff. Thanks to Es Tas Bar & Grill for sponsoring this podcast!

We don't want to spoil it, but they are not pleasant. Paul is a fantastic interview, and anyone who has any interest in Iowa State or basketball will be highly entertained by this podcast. As always, this podcast is presented to you by Es Tas Bar & Grill.

On this weeks Litecast, the guys review the biggest storylines from Big 12 media day. We get petty as the discussion around Matt Campbell and his coaching future are getting old. Look out for some stray shots at the other Big 12 schools. We also tackle the discourse around the "Horns Down" gesture and whether or not culture is just an empty buzzword used by coaches. Elsewhere, the Bucks are on the verge of an NBA championship (we recorded before game 6) and there is some Suns resentment setting in.  We give some thoughts on LeBron's new Space Jam and wrap up with a season summary of the Bachelorette. The Litecast returns with a full house as Austin, Matt, and Dylan are back in action. We start with the news of 4-star in state recruit Hunter Deyo's commitment to Iowa State. This is a continuation of a trend as 2022 is looking good for the Cyclones. Is this the start of sustained success? We sure think so. The NBA Finals looks much more competitive as Giannis is playing out of his mind. Can the Bucks come back to win the whole thing? We also try to make sense of why Tyrese Haliburton is not on the Suns right now. In other basketball news, Team USA is struggling in Olympic prep, but we think we know how to fix it. Lastly, we play a new game to help us get ready for football season: Big 12 QB or country singer? Thanks to Es Tas Bar & Grill for sponsoring!

How are we feeling? Should we be worried? In the NBA, Dylan's Nets Minute is put to rest for the season. Trae Young is hurt. Luka's Mavericks are imploding. Things could be going better for our teams. Abdel Nader's Finals MVP campaign is strong though. Lastly, we break down episode 4 of the Bachelorette. Dylan is out on Katie. Things looked bleak but they can still beat the Bucks as long as Bruce Brown steps up.
