Okay maybe that's a bit hyperbolic, but this Husky defense inspires no confidence after the 45-38 loss at ASU playing against a walk-on quarterback of a 1-4 team in front of 1,500 fans. It was the familiar land of giving up 14 yards and 3rd and 12s and missed tackles and all the rest. In theory this 4-2 Husky team still has a Holiday Bowl berth to play for. But the defense is trending so badly that it's hard to see this team beating anyone other than Colorado and Cal in the weeks ahead.
