James Cummings, a 57‑year‑old actor and film producer, recalled that in 2002 he and Combs were alone inside an LA Fitness steam room in Los Angeles when Combs made an unprovoked sexual advance. Cummings described seeing Combs reach toward the ceiling before suddenly bending toward him, placing his fingers on Cummings's legs. When Cummings rebuffed him—shouting “Hey, stop!”—Combs allegedly lunged at him and attempted to perform a sexual act. Cummings defended himself by punching him in the face, dragging him out, and continuing to fight until Combs fled naked, leaving behind only his sneakers.Cummings said the incident was terrifying and humiliating, and later even triggered a physical reaction—he was “depressed” and shaken afterward, according to his wife Jennifer, who was present when he emerged from the steam room shouting that the rapper had tried to orally assault him.  Though Combs reportedly avoided contact at a later encounter in a steakhouse, Cummings emphasized that he fought back effectively: “I beat him like the b***h he is,” expressing both pride in his self-defense and lingering emotional impact from the confrontation.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Hollywood producer James Cummings claims Diddy tried to force disturbing sexual act in gym steam room leading to nude brawl | Daily Mail Online

Send us a textFrom the corridors of military prisons to the unique challenges of civilian life, our guest Jimmy Cummings shares an extraordinary journey filled with unexpected twists and turns. A retired Marine with a commanding presence in military corrections, Jimmy opens up about his early struggles in Scranton, Pennsylvania, that led him to the Marines, meeting his wife in Okinawa, and the trials of transitioning back to civilian life—only to find his way back to the Corps. His insights offer a rare glimpse into a world of discipline, camaraderie, and the often-overlooked aspects of military life. Our conversation takes a thought-provoking turn as we discuss the nuances of the military justice system, touching on court-martials, prisoner rehabilitation, and the transformative power of correctional custody programs. Jimmy's personal anecdotes about leading these programs, both in the U.S. and Japan, shed light on their potential to change lives. Queer men's cultures of intimacy have long been sites of fierce contestation. Indeed, debates have raged for decades over issues such as monogamy, safer sex, sexual racism and gay marriage. The introduction of the smartphone in 2008 only intensified these debates whilst also raising a further set of questions which are explored in this open access book. Through interviews with a diverse group of 43 queer men about their smartphone mediated intimacies, Digital Intimacies: Queer Men and Smartphones in Times of Crisis (Bloomsbury, 2024) reveals that queer men use their smartphones, not simply to arrange intimate encounters, but more specifically to gain a sense of control over the parts of their intimate lives that make them feel most vulnerable. For instance, some use messaging apps to gain a sense of control over intimate conversations that they feel too vulnerable to have in person. Others use the 'block' function on dating apps to feel in control of the racism and transphobia they are vulnerable to on these apps. Digital Intimacies therefore illuminates not only hitherto underexplored aspects of queer men's cultures of intimacy but crucially also brings into view previously obscured cultural dynamics, gaining insight into the historical moments in which they occur. The Everyday Lives of Gay Men in Hainan: Sociality, Space and Time (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022) by Dr. James Cummings explores the everyday lives of gay men in Hainan, an island province of the People's Republic of China. Taking an ethnographic and phenomenological approach, it asks how these men construct and experience ways of ‘sexual being' – as gay, homosexual, tongzhi and/or in the scene – and what these mean for the ways of living they see as possible within a socio-cultural, political and material context characterised by pervasive heteronormativity. It explores what it means for gay men in Hainan to ‘come into the scene', how internet and mobile technologies figure in their everyday processes of sexual categorisation and how these men negotiate orientations and disorientations towards the future in relation to dominant heterosexual life scripts of marriage and reproduction. This book offers vital insights into the production and restriction of non-heterosexual lives in diverse settings, while addressing universal questions of how certain ways of living are enabled and curtailed in living together with others through powerful conditions of uncertainty and precarity. This interview was conducted by Dr. Miranda Melcher whose forthcoming book focuses on post-conflict military integration, understanding treaty negotiation and implementation in civil war contexts, with qualitative analysis of the Angolan and Mozambican civil wars. Thanks for tuning in to this weeks episode of One For The Road. This week I am joined by film director Philip Barantini. After 20 years of performing in front of the camera - including roles in the massively successful Band of Brothers, Chernobyl, Ned Kelly and Humans, Philip Barantini transitioned into directing in the late 2010s, marking his first short film with the award-winning Seconds Out, written by and starring Robbie O'Neill. Following this, Barantini helmed the BIFA nominated short film Boiling Point, starring Stephen Graham, which was then adapted into the hotly anticipated one-shot feature of the same name in 2021; both movies were co-written with Barantini's frequent collaborator James Cummings. Boiling Point saw its international debut in competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and premiered in the UK at the BFI London Film Festival in October 2021. The film has garnered glowing reviews from both critics and audiences, who have called the film "dizzying" [The Guardian] and "utterly compelling" [Variety], commending the film for its "piano-wire tension" [Time Out] and performances - "Stephen Graham is phenomenally mesmerising" [HEYUGUYS]. It recently won 4 BIFA's including best supporting actress (Vinette Robinson), best cinematography, best casting and best sound. and was nominated in 11 categories. If you enjoy One For The Road, then click follow to be notified of the release of our next episode. If you want to connect with me via Instagram, you can find me on the instahandle @Soberdave https://www.instagram.com/soberdave/or via my website https://davidwilsoncoaching.com/Provided below are links for services offering additional help and advice, and links for Philip.https://www.instagram.com/barantini/https://alcoholchange.org.uk/https://www.wearewithyou.org.uk/https://www.drinkaware.co.uk/advice/alcohol-support-serviceshttps://nacoa.org.uk/Show producer- Daniella Attanasio-Martinezhttps://www.grownuphustle.com/Instagram - @TheDaniellaMartinez@GrownupHustle See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
