On this week's episode of Crime Capsule, Benjamin Morris talks with producer extraordinaire Sarah Ferris of Evergreen Podcasts and her new show, Watching Two Detectives. About Watching Two Detectives Season One: "If Tomorrow Never Comes" In our gripping first season, "If Tomorrow Never Comes," we unravel the chilling and complex murder of Michael Furlong. Unlike any crime story you've heard, this case twists on its axis with developments so shocking, they'd be dismissed as too unbelievable for a Hollywood script. Scott Rogan and Peter Hogan are not just recounting the case; they're reopening the files with a personal connection that adds layers of depth and humanity to the narrative. Joined by the detective who led the investigation, Clive Ainly, this season offers unprecedented access to the people closest to the case. Michael's son Luke, who was only 11 at the time of his father's murder, and his ex-wife, Colleen, share their poignant journeys of seeking answers and closure. This isn't just a recounting of facts; it's an exploration of the ripple effects of a single act of violence. From the crime scene that shook the detectives to their core to the heart-wrenching irony of Michael's last gift to his ex-wife—a CD featuring Ronan Keating's "If Tomorrow Never Comes"—this season brings you closer to the case than ever before. Go beyond the headlines and the cold facts. Experience the human side of a true crime story, accompanied by those who lived through it. Hear directly from the detectives who worked the case and the family members still seeking answers. Just when you think you've understood the case, new revelations emerge, each more surprising than the last. Subscribe Now

It's been a while, but it's time we caught up with one of New Zealand's finest actors - Tem Morrison. In New Zealand we know him best for Once Were Warriors, but lately he's in all the big Hollywood hits, Aquaman, Moana and of course Star Wars where he plays Boba Fett. But it's in a more local setting where you can see his latest - he's on our screens telling the, mostly, true story of a husband and wife who thwarted a $500 million meth deal. The show is called Far North on TV3 with the first few episodes having dropped this week - Temuera Morrison joined Mike Hosking. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We sat down with Leila Gerstein (executive producer), Josh Bonzie, Alycia Debnam-Carey, West Duchovny, Jayden Elijah, Michael Park, and Betsy Brandt to discuss their latest thriller to hit on Hulu called 'Saint X.' All of the actors spoke about the importance of this show and how some of your initial judgments going into the first episode might say more about you than it does the characters you are watching. While the show is full of constant twists and turns (going back and forth from the past to the present), it also regularly addresses serious issues, including stereotypes, racism, sexuality, media attention, tragedy, and more. While the show is heavy, there are lessons to learn from it. All of the actors spoke about how they worked on their characters, who made them better, how they got through some of the more challenging scenes, and what they did to lighten the mood while on set. Host: Monica Gleberman Editor: Shamindri De Sayrah Social Media Graphic: Jojo -- Synopsis: The series, which is told via multiple timelines, explores, and upends the girl gone-missing genre as it explores how a young woman's mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth. Leila Gerstein (Mrs. America, The Handmaid's Tale, Hart of Dixie) wrote and will executive produce with Dee Rees (MUDBOUND) directing and executive producing the first episode. Stephen Williams (Watchmen) will also executive produce with David Levine and Zack Hayden for Anonymous Content, Aubrey Graham aka Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, and Jason Shrier for DreamCrew Entertainment (Euphoria), Alexis Schaitkin, and Steve Pearlman (Once Upon a Time).
