The year ahead astrology forecast for 2026, with predictions about the major planetary alignments taking place over the next twelve months, with astrologers Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock. We spend the first half of the episode giving a big picture overview of the most important planetary alignments in 2026, and then in the second half we dive into a month by month breakdown of the astrology of the next year. This is episode 517 of The Astrology Podcast. Overview of the Astrology of 2026 The year opens with Saturn and Neptune departing from Pisces and moving into the tropical zodiac sign of Aries, where they form an exact conjunction with each other in February, marking the peak of the reality distortion field. February and March sees the start of our first eclipse season, with a solar eclipse in Aquarius in February, followed by a lunar eclipse in Virgo in early March, marking the beginning of a new eclipse series of major endings and beginnings in Leo-Aquarius while the Virgo-Pisces series winds down. The Saturn-Neptune conjunct is reactivated in April when Mars enters that sign and forms a quadruple conjunction with Mercury, Mars, Saturn, and Neptune. Later in April the planet Uranus moves into the sign of Gemini where it will stay until 2033, thus marking the full onset of the Uranus return of the United States. This Uranus transit through Gemini reaches a critical and explosive turning point around July 4, when Mars conjoins Uranus in Gemini, which is the first in a series of four pivotal conjunctions between now and 2032. Jupiter spends the first half of the year wrapping up its transit through the sign of exaltation in Cancer, with one of the main highlights being an auspicious Venus-Jupiter conjunction in early June, but then in the second half of the year Jupiter moves into Leo and begins a series of alignments that will put the spotlight on that sign in late 2026 and early 2027. In August we get our second eclipse season of the year, with a solar eclipse in the sign of Leo, followed by a lunar eclipse in the sign of Pisces, thus fully inaugurating the Leo-Aquarius eclipse series. There is a messy Venus retrograde in the signs of Libra and Scorpio in October and November, and then the year closes with Mars getting ready to station retrograde in Leo and Virgo, leaving us on a cliffhanger that leads into the beginning of 2027. 2026 Electional Astrology Report https://theastrologypodcast.com/2026report/ Astrotheoros https://astrotheoros.com Use the code ASTROLOGYPOD to get a free month of the program! This is an audio version of a white broad series covering inhibition/thalamic reticular nucleus. See the video to follow along. This episode provides a detailed exploration of the thalamic reticular nucleus (TRN), the inhibitory "shell" surrounding the thalamus that acts as a sensory gate in the brain. Drawing on prior episodes, it explains how abnormalities in TRN development—linked to factors like Sonic Hedgehog signaling knockouts, reduced parvalbumin interneurons, and genes such as CNTNAP2—contribute to the excitation-inhibition imbalance central to autism. The TRN regulates sensory input access (visual, auditory, somatosensory), attention modulation, sleep-wake cycles, and overload protection; in autism, its dysfunction leads to sensory overload, hyperactivity, repetitive behaviors, and social challenges, while offering strengths like accelerated learning, intense focus, and enhanced visual thinking due to heightened inner-directed processing.83: Thalamic Reticular Nucleus (TRN), Sensory Gating & Autism https://youtu.be/cjwbog7Rk4c?si=R3Nq3Hs5A0M_7Vts 82: Sonic Hedgehog & Inhibitory Neurons in Autism https://youtu.be/Oee4L7Vsj4E?si=rG2T8R9AIYAnDBw7 76: Parvalbumin Interneurons & the Autistic Phenotype https://youtu.be/PBHVssvoQkM?si=saFvjVx9Bjq610pk Also see the Visual Thinking episodes, but White Broad Series coming to cover those in more detail.Daylight Computer Company, use "autism" for $50 off at https://buy.daylightcomputer.com/autismChroma Light Devices, use "autism" for 10% discount at https://getchroma.co/?ref=autismFig Tree Christian Golf Apparel & Accessories, use "autism" for 10% discount at https://figtreegolf.com/?ref=autismCognity AI for Autistic Social Skills, use "autism" for 10% discount at https://thecognity.com00:00 Introduction, Episode Recap, TRN Overview02:45 TRN Anatomy Drawing, Thalamus Structure and Shell05:18 Sonic Hedgehog Role, Knockout Models in Development10:48 Cell Types in TRN, Parvalbumin vs Somatostatin Functions15:19 TRN Sectors, Sensory Inputs (Visual/Auditory/Somatosensory) Access20:37 Cortical Connections, Layer 6 Feedback and Crosstalk25:04 Mini-Columns Recap, Thalamus to Layer 4 Processing29:56 Prefrontal Cortex Mapping, Adaptive Responses Role34:22 TRN Functions: Attention Modulation, Sleep-Wake Regulation36:22 CNTNAP2 Discussion, Knockout Phenotypes (Hyperactivity, Seizures)38:45 Strengths/Weaknesses: Accelerated Learning, Visual Thinking Benefits42:18 Overload Protection, Hyperactivity, Social/Repetitive Challenges46:30 Conclusion, Autism as "Self," Inner-Directed ProcessingX: https://x.com/rps47586YT: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGxEzLKXkjppo3nqmpXpzuAemail: info.fromthespectrum@gmail.com

Astrologers Chris Brennan and Nick Dagan Best explore Mars-Uranus conjunctions in Gemini in US history, and how they have coincided with some of the most pivotal turning points during the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and World War II, in order to gain insight into the upcoming conjunctions from 2026 to 2032. This episode originated from research for the upcoming 2026 forecast, specifically noticing the striking Mars-Uranus conjunction that will occur on July 4, 2026—the nation's 250th birthday. Building on our previous work regarding the US Uranus Return and recurrence transits, we examine how the United States was founded under a specific Mars-Uranus conjunction signature. Because this alignment exists in the country's birth chart, its recurrence in the sky acts as a powerful trigger, particularly when it returns to the sign of Gemini. Our research uncovered a distinct narrative pattern across three major historical eras: the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the period spanning World War II and the start of the Cold War. We found that significant "precursor" events often emerge during Mars-Uranus conjunctions in Taurus, which then escalate into major conflicts and structural changes once the conjunctions move into Gemini, before finally reaching a resolution or new status quo as the alignment shifts into Cancer. We track this sequence through history, noting astounding correlations where exact conjunctions coincided with defining moments such as the drafting of the Declaration of Independence, the attack on Fort Sumter that began the Civil War, and the detonation of the atomic bomb in 1945. We discuss themes of rebellion, military innovation, and the struggle for liberation that seem to consistently resurface during these windows of time. Finally, we apply these historical lessons to the present, analyzing the precursor events of the last decade to forecast the themes of the upcoming Uranus in Gemini cycle from 2025 to 2033. We outline the timing of the four Mars-Uranus conjunctions that will take place between 2026 and 2032, and discuss what history implies about the threshold we are currently crossing. What if the smallest act of obedience reframed your whole future? That's the thread running through this conversation with builder and developer John Farrow, whose story moves from a jar of coins on an altar to a nationwide portfolio built on excellence, generosity, and steady trust. We open with the move to Destin and the discovery of a church that prizes small groups and service, then follow the practical habits that anchor his life: daily Scripture, prayer, and a bias for action that pairs faith with work.John unpacks the “trash enclosure” moment that changed his trajectory—a minor job others dismissed that he completed with uncommon care. Corporate noticed, phones rang, and the door cracked open to large-scale hospitality and resort work. The lesson is specific and repeatable: do the small things in excellence, give first, and let your reputation carry across rooms you haven't entered yet. From there, we get personal about business choices, including the costly errors of jumping into deals without prayer or partnering where values didn't align. Matthew 6:33 sits over his company culture—seek first the Kingdom and the right way of doing things—and acts as a filter for opportunities, hiring, and growth.Community keeps the engine running. John describes a vibrant network of men's groups, mentoring, and new believers hungry to learn how to pray, serve, and lead. He shares the funnel image of spiritual formation: life starts wide and noisy, then narrows as conviction grows, habits strengthen, and character hardens in the right direction. We talk about the discipline of yielding—choosing peace over retaliation—and why forgiveness is a strategic decision that preserves focus and opens better doors. For anyone feeling stuck or skeptical, we outline actionable steps: read Scripture daily, pray morning and night, join a Christ-centered church, find a small group, give what you can, and work with excellence—especially when a task seems beneath you.If this conversation sparks something in you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs courage, and leave a review with the one practice you'll start this week. Your story might begin with a small act of faith—and end with a legacy that outlives you.For more information contact us atrtrdestiny@gmail.com
A look ahead at the astrological forecast for December 2025, with astrologers Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock. We spend the first hour talking about the astrology behind news stories that happened since our last forecast, such as the major flight delays and internet outages that coincided with the Mercury retrograde conjunct Mars, and then in the second hour we do a deep dive into November's astrology. The astrology of December features a challenging square between Mars-Saturn-Neptune, and much of our discussion focuses on the potential for bubbles popping when that Mars transit pierces the Saturn-Neptune conjunction. An introduction to an obscure but powerful timing technique called recurrence transits, which occur when specific planetary alignments in the birth chart are repeated by transits in the sky, with astrologers Chris Brennan and Nick Dagan Best. Unlike standard transits that form aspects to specific points in the natal chart, a recurrence transit occurs when a planetary alignment found in a birth chart repeats in the sky between those same two planets. For example, if a person was born with a Venus-Jupiter conjunction in their birth chart, then an important event will happen in their life in the future when Venus and Jupiter again form a conjunction in the sky. The episode uses the analogy that specific planetary alignments in the birth chart act like a personal theme song; when the planets repeat the same alignment in the sky, it is as if that music starts playing again, signaling a pivotal turning point where the natal potential of the birth signature becomes awakened through a resonance between past and future. The episode opens by exploring the history and transmission of the technique, which is relatively unknown in the English-speaking world at the present time. Nick shares how he learned the method from the late Michael Lutin in the 1990s, while Chris traces potential roots back to early 20th-century German astrology and ancient Hellenistic texts like Vettius Valens. A key point emphasized early on is how these mundane planetary recurrences operate independently of aspects to natal placements, forcing a conceptual expansion of what defines a transit, and demonstrating how planetary cycles can be tied into important turning points in a life narrative even without direct contact with birth chart placements. To demonstrate the technique in practice, most of the episode is spent presenting a wide range of biographical examples as case studies, and focusing primarily on conjunctions in order to keep things simple and compelling. Case studies include the technological breakthroughs of Steve Jobs and Max Planck, the artistic peaks of Vincent van Gogh and Madonna, and the political rises and falls of figures like Richard Nixon and Joe Biden. The workshop also examines how retrogrades can both extend and intensify the importance of certain recurrence transits, as seen in the lives of Edward Snowden and Charles Manson, and we also touch on shared recurrences in relationships, such as Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. The conversation concludes with a broader philosophical discussion on what this technique implies about the nature of astrology, touching on concepts like simulation theory and the definition of astrology as a map of time. This episode serves as a comprehensive foundation for understanding recurrence transits, providing astrologers and students with a powerful, empirically driven tool for predictive work and biographical analysis that complements traditional methods.
