3 Minute Devotional Song with Spoken Guidance for Praising Source/God for making a way where it appears there is none If you feel the physical evidence in your world makes it so it's unlikely things will work out for you: this is just an illusion. And it's temporary. Take care of yourself and do everything you can to take care of YOU. If you feel called to make this part of your self care, it's my deepest desrie this helps you feels celebratory in advance of that which we call "Evidence" for celebration (trust me, I get it, we WANT the physical evidence, but darling we ARE the evidence). Get more of my original praise music, cover songs, and musical energy activations here: https://www.youtube.com/@iammarisalynn I LOVE YOU and I so hope this served. Oh, hey! I'm working on the release of The Weekend Retreat Album. It helped me immensely and I can't wait for it to better serve YOU! So, I'm releasing a song a day as I "finalize" them: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWpMIWOz2GD9kAf_4Bj0LpsbRO8Sz4l1a Honestly, I know my tech is a bit lo-fi and I should probably hire someone to do the real producing, but I'm modeling what I preach and I truly believe if the ability to hire people who specialize in audio engineering (which, for the record, if you're looking for someone I highly recommend Tom Kelly from Clean Cut Audio: https://www.cleancutaudio.com) is meant to come I won't have to look for it; I'll either be inspired to some idea that leads to the funding, or it will just fall on my lap. And that in the meantime I MAKE THE BEST of everything I'm given and CREATE, CREATE, CREATE as it's all my bones wanna do while I'm in a season of unintended isolation. That which we are has been SCHOOLING me hard. I'm done denying the truly incredible nature of that which we are (who I'm still MEETING btw), for we came here in THIS LIFETIME to remember. And dude, I'm taking it easy; there is SO MUCH to learn. I'm still taking SO MUCH for granted just because we gave ourselves SO MUCH amazingness everywhere we look, it's a lot to take in. But remember, dear One, it's all You. You are this magnificent being we call reality. We can trust in Ourself again. What happens when we do? Do those aspects of us who always wanted the trust romantic story of a lifetime get it? Do those of us who always wanted to see the world get to? Do those of us who've been keeping our gifts and identities bottled up inside because they weren't acceptable to the initial timeline we entered into get to come out and play in the grandest of ways? I don't "know" what happens next but I have beautiful feelings about it and I know this: Love wings. Haha I meant to write "wins" but I love that it came out as wings. (twice actually, I had to edit a second typo XD). I mean, who doesn't love wings? Disclaimer: This is only for entertainment and you take full responsibility by listening. YOU ROCK
Why is the salvation of Cornelius, the Roman centurion, so important for redemptive history, and what does it mean for us? Learn more in this sermon delivered to Hillside Baptist Church in Eastman, GA by pastor Chad Hendley on 10/22/23. www.hillsideeastman.com
Genesis 4:16-26 (NASB) 16 Then Cain left the presence of the Lord, and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden. 17 Cain had relations with his wife and she conceived, and gave birth to Enoch; and Cain built a city, and named the city Enoch, after the name of his son. 18 Now to Enoch was born Irad, and Irad fathered Mehujael, and Mehujael fathered Methushael, and Methushael fathered Lamech. 19 Lamech took two wives for himself: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other, Zillah. 20 Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who live in tents and have livestock. 21 His brother's name was Jubal; he was the father of all those who play the lyre and flute. 22 As for Zillah, she also gave birth to Tubal-cain, the forger of all implements of bronze and iron; and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah. 23 Lamech said to his wives, “Adah and Zillah,Listen to my voice,You wives of Lamech,Pay attention to my words,For I have killed a man for wounding me;And a boy for striking me!24 If Cain is avenged seven times,Then Lamech seventy-seven times!” 25 Adam had relations with his wife again; and she gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, for, she said, “God has appointed me another child in place of Abel, because Cain killed him.” 26 To Seth also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then people began to call upon the name of the Lord. Theme/Outline: Godless culture may accomplish many impressive earthly feats, but sinful mankind's only real hope is to call upon the name of the LORD. 1) The offspring of ungodly men producing Godless achievements (4:16-24) 2) The seed of God-fearing men establishing worship of the LORD (4:25-26)
Pastor Nick delivered a sermon on a Sunday when we presented the blessings and needs of our Children's ministries based upon Mark 2:1-12. Pastor Nick disdusses the fact that the faith of the men who lowered the paralytic during Jesus sermon did so with immense faith and that we should likewise help our children find Jesus.
Welcome Janessa to Collister United Methodist Church as our new pastor!
Exodus 14 God is in control. God is setting the scene for where you are going. “God didn't remove the Red Sea, He parted it. Sometimes God doesn't remove your problems, He makes a Way through them!” That Way was Jesus, and Jesus is still the Only Way! John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Kronda Adair is a WordPress developer turned digital marketer, and is the CEO of Karvel Digital. At age 34, she became a programmer and spent the next five years getting a degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institute of Portland. She spent the past six years studying marketing with key mentors in the industry and helping business owners out of poor technology decisions. In the past, Kronda has worked as a web developer, a co-lead on a technology project, and a project manager. In this episode… All businesses deal with client acquisition, but this process isn't the same for everyone. Marketing and automation companies are faced with the difficult task of drumming up interest or exposing needs to their potential clients. While it can be an uphill battle, there are creative ways to build your agency. Kronda Adair set out with the intention of starting her own business. With her experience in WordPress, she created an automation and marketing tool that could free time and increase sales for other companies. So how did she grow and improve her agency along the way? In this episode of Access to Anyone, Michael Roderick is joined by Kronda Adair, the CEO of Karvel Digital, to talk about how she created demand for her company. The two talk about managing prices, dealing with troublesome clients, showing needs to the client, and how Karvel Digital helps their clients succeed.
Aïdah Aliyah Rasheed, Special Projects Lead sits down with Bee Walker, photographer, filmmaker and one-half of Paper Monday. Within this episode, Aïdah and Bee talk about the beginning stages behind the collaborative project between Sapelo Square and Paper Monday, Preserving the Legacy Portraits and Stories Capturing Black Muslim Life.* Bee shares a specific experience that occurred when Aïdah invited her to attend Jumu'ah (Friday prayer service) at Masjid Khalifah in Brooklyn, New York. Additionally the two discuss specifics about the creative process and balancing paying bills while simultaneously honoring their main intentions as creatives in the world, striving to “make art that matters.” This conversation serves as an encouragement to Black creatives and storytellers who, like most people, have doubts about their abilities, whether they will secure adequate resources for their projects or cultivate an audience who will appreciate their gifts, to continue to push forward when obstacles may seem insurmountable. This episode also touches on the importance of telling our stories with intentionality, having faith and persevering through it all.

Author, Speaker and advocate Ann Voskamp shares from her book “WayMaker: Finding the Way to the Life You've Always Dreamed Of.” Voskamp tells her story of loss, struggles in marriage, her own heart failure, and what she learned about our Maker in the process. *Originally aired June 21, 2022 * Faith Radio podcasts are made possible by your support. * This originally aired as a video episode on YouTube HERE. This installment examines our third individual within the series. This one appears in Acts chapter 13 and his example aligns with the two men that we presented in Part 1. He is marked by being one that made Yahweh's straight way crooked and was thereby called a son of the devil by Shaul (Paul). Let us hear and heed the warning that we have been presented so that we can be found ready for the last days falling away.
* This originally aired as a video episode on YouTube HERE. In this episode, we look into an account in 2 Timothy where Shaul (Paul) is delivering a warning of a people that will emerge in the last days. Interestingly, he uses two men from the days of Moses as examples. Two men that are mentioned nowhere else in the Bible but right here. Why?

It seems to be a common theme in life to find “happiness”. We see it on bumper stickers, motivational decor, and even on t-shirts! Even in our country's Declaration of Independence, it says we have the “unalienable rights to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” We want to be happy. We want to pursue the things that will ultimately make us happy. But how often do we try to find happiness in fleeting “things” of this world? While happiness can fade, we find that joy is steadfast! In light of all these conversations, we ask, where does the path towards true joy take us? We continue our series, The Followers Trail Guide: Navigating the Path of Jesus, following Jesus through his last hours and teaching with his disciples in the book of John known as “The Farewell Discourse.” In our passage, Jesus speaks of a joy that cannot be taken away, that will meet our heart's desire and beyond. Jesus makes this audacious and bold claim that the object of pursuit for every human ever is Him! Listen with us in our newest message, Making a Way to Eternal Joy, and unravel the way of Jesus leads to fullness of joy!

Today, God is reminding us that clinging to old ways and sameness means we are resisting His works within us. God wants us to LEAN IN FULLY & embrace the new things He has in store for us, which can only happen if we are continually open to the challenging, yet beautiful journey of choosing to walk with Him in the present. God's mercies are new every single day, & we are constantly born again because of His love for us!

The Black Mind Garden: ReMap Your Mind! Create a Life You Design
SHOW NOTES: This week, Dr. Jen Caudle and I took the conversation to another level as we talked about racism and bias as people of color, giving ourselves credit for what we do and becoming brilliant at what we do, not only for ourselves but for the future generation. Highlights from the conversation: [00:30] Dr. Jen Caudle · Former Ms. Iowa, competing for Miss America · Board-certified Family Medicine physician · Associate Professor in the department of Family Medicine at Rowan University-School of Osteopathic Medicine [09:10] Racism and bias as a black woman or a person of color We all experience racism and bias, especially as a black woman or a person of color. Being a black woman in the media makes the work that you do even more important for the people who are looking up to you. It is modeling something for people who may not see that there's an opportunity for people of color. We are now seeing more doctors of colors on TV which is exactly what it should've been all along. [16:30] Giving ourselves credit for what we do Recognizing that we're brilliant is as important as adjusting each other's crowns and giving each other's flowers. We are to acknowledge that what we do is so important. We have to work so much harder to be recognized as brilliant so we become – it is not just for us but for our future generation who are coming behind us. [21:33] Years of hard work and resiliency Finding holes of light poking through the darkness is what makes us Dr. Jen great at what she does. There are no bright sides to racism but bright aspects that come out of our negative experiences. There are a lot of bright things that have come through and come from the struggles we have as people. [24:15] What's next? For Dr. Jen, it's growing her platform and creating contents. It is essential to be careful what we rule out and decide what's possible so as not to limit ourselves on what we're capable of doing. ----------- Catch up with Dr. Jen Caudle by visiting him at www.drjencaudle.com or contacting her at info@jennifercaudle.com You can also follow them on social media at: Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/DrJenCaudle Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/drjencaudle LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/drjencaudle Twitter - https://twitter.com/DrJenCaudle See you on the next one!
