Robert Hastings, UFO researcher and author, has delved into declassified US government documents that confirm UFO incursions at nuclear weapons sites as early as 1945. In the first half, he shared his reactions to the recent congressional UAP hearing, as well as recounted various UFO cases. UFOs are craft from one or more other worlds, he believes, operated by entities other than us, and the continued secrecy surrounding this phenomenon is disturbing. Yet he conceded that in regards to UFOs' interference with nuclear systems, "If you start talking candidly about disc-shaped craft shutting down or even temporarily activating our nuclear missiles... that's quite anxiety-producing."Reflecting on the US congressional hearings, he highlighted Luis Elizondo's testimony, who stated, "All of this was for the purpose of hiding the fact that we're not alone in the cosmos." Hastings thinks this acknowledgment is a significant step forward despite the challenges of revealing classified information. "I've never seen this kind of public interest and media interest," he commented, suggesting that the momentum is building towards eventual transparency. He detailed several alarming incidents, particularly from the Northern Tier missile bases in the 1960s and 70s, where UFOs were observed hovering over missile silos, causing missile launch systems to activate. One striking account involved Captain David Schuur, who recounted a night in 1966 or '67 at Minot AFB when "luminous objects" were seen moving among missiles, triggering launch indicators. "They were terrified...Nothing like this had ever happened before," Hastings shared. He speculated on the motives behind these incidents, suggesting that non-human intelligences might be cautioning humanity about the dangers of nuclear weapons. Hastings also touched on how he and some of the military witnesses, such as Bob Jacobs, believe they are "experiencers," having undergone alien abductions.

This week I'm talking to Dr. Simeon Hein about his book 'Black Swan Ghosts: A Sociologist Encounters Witnesses to Unexplained Aerial Craft, Their Occupants, and Other Elements of the Multiverse'.What happens when you encounter a controversial phenomenon that can destroy your career? New bonus feature—Stunning witness video interviews from the book online: links and info provided in the book text. Black Swan Ghosts investigates how our society treats witnesses to unexplained events, unidentified aerial objects, and mysterious beings. It's a topic I once dismissed as weird, fringe, and crazy—something I'd avoid. However, after getting involved in Remote Viewing and getting to know participants in this previously classified government program, I began encountering more highly credible witnesses to these hard-to-explain phenomena. Eventually, the weight of the evidence overcame any doubts I had about the authenticity and veridicality of these subjects. This book investigates why our society is so reluctant to engage and address the critical issues raised by such phenomena. Why are we afraid to take the subject seriously? What are the consequences to the witnesses? Precisely, what kind of universe do we live in?The book contains:    Witness stories from a former Air Force and commercial pilot.    Children of high-ranking Air Force officials.    An Aerospace engineer who worked for NASA's JPL.    A former NASA astrobiologist.    A nuclear missile security guard from Minot AFB    A retired US government remote viewer, and many others. Now includes video interviews on the BlackSwanGhosts.com website with many of the witnesses in the book.Black Swan Ghosts includes witness accounts of a hostile encounter between US Air Force jets and a strange object over Lake Superior in the 1960s; B-52s during the Cold War get scanned by mysterious objects from space near the Soviet border; a former government remote viewer recounts contact with an alien control panel and interview by intelligence agents; campers on Silbury Hill, UK witness strange luminous objects hovering with a secondary sighting by supporting witness; a NASA astrobiologist shows evidence of meteoric extraterrestrial fossils, suppressed Skylab UFO photos, and first-hand account of accidental near-launch of Soviet nuclear missiles caused by huge unidentified disc; a woman and friend have car stall and experience missing time near Mt. St. Helens; a man and friend in the UK see a flying disc and its occupant land at night in the 1970s and then get mysterious phone calls; and much, much more!BioDr. Simeon Hein is the director of a research and teaching company, the Mount Baldy Institute, which he founded in 1997, to give people the opportunity to learn Virtual Viewing a type of intuition training that taps into our creative unconscious intelligence. He also studies crop circles and takes people on crop circle tours. You can watch some of his lectures about crop circles. This is the third part of a series looking at a case from 1968 that involved sightings of UFOs on October 24, 1968, by ground observers stationed at the ICBM missile complex surrounding Minot AFB in North Dakota. A B-52 was flying in the area, and the pilot was requested to change course and investigate. The result was a UFO encounter that was caught on photographs of the B-52 radarscope, and the pilot, Maj. James A. Partin, and co-pilot, Captain Bradford Runyon, reported that they'd had a visual sighting of the object when it was on the ground. In addition to the sightings, it was reported that the outer and inner perimeter alarms of the missile site designated Oscar-7 went off and that a padlocked entry hatch there was found open with a plug-style gate secured by a combination lock removed from it. The case was officially examined by the officer in charge of UFO investigations at the base who provided details and evidence to Project Blue Book. The Blue Book conclusion was that what was seen was possibly a combination of “anomalous propagation” of radar returns, a plasma ball, and celestial bodies. It was also concluded that the break-in was unrelated. The case lay dormant for 30 years until Runyon contacted the Center for UFO Studies and filled out a sighting report form. The case caught the interest of members of the newly formed Sign Historical Group and they did a thorough investigation that included many interviews with witnesses. They've made material they gathered available as part of the Sign Oral History Project on a website devoted to the case. In Part III, we'll look at the reports by the ground observers. At the suggestion of Mr. Martin Willis, this week we are looking at a report involving a UFO incident on October 24, 1968, at Minot AFB in North Dakota. It involved sightings reported by ground observers stationed at the surrounding Minuteman ICBM complex as well as the crew of a B-52. What gives this case extra significance is that there are available photos of the B-52 radarscope to back up the crew's account. There is a Project Blue Book file on the case that contains the conclusion that what was seen was possibly a combination of “anomalous propagation” of radar returns, a plasma ball, and celestial bodies, but an exceptional investigation begun in 2000 by members of the recently formed Sign Historical Group indicates that the incident involved something genuinely mysterious.Read more →This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/5922140/advertisement
