Milli was one of Jeremie's coaches when he did Gratitude Training, a self-development program. Milli had a chaotic childhood as her mom suffered from mental illnesses and her brother was a sociopath. She had to adjust and adapt in order to survive in her household. This led to some complicated years from her teen years to mid-twenties where she used alcohol and drugs to function. However, what started as a way to numb the pain became an addiction. When Milli was eventually able to get sober, she went back to school and decided to dedicate her life to helping others. She has been working with people struggling with addiction, first responders and others, and now focuses on people like you and me to achieve their dream life. This was such a deep conversation with lots of raw and honest moments. Milli doesn't hide her truth and in fact, uses it to empower herself and others. She is proof that you can have a tough start in life.. and then turn it around and use your skills and compassion to help other people. Wow, what an incredible individual! Episoden inneholder ingen spoilere. God lytting!

M., Schneider, A., Schüttpelz, M., Huser, T., Schenck, W. Abstract: Super-resolution structured illumination microscopy (SR-SIM) pro- vides an up to two-fold enhanced spatial resolution of fluorescently labeled samples. The reconstruction of high quality SR-SIM images critically depends on patterned illumination with high modulation contrast. Noisy raw image data, e.g. as a result of low excitation power or low exposure times, result in reconstruction artifacts. Here, we demonstrate deep-learning based SR-SIM image denoising that results in high quality reconstructed images. A residual encoding-decoding convolution neural network (RED-Net) was used to successfully denoise computationally reconstructed noisy SR-SIM images. We also demonstrate the entirely deep-learning based denoising and reconstruction of raw SIM images into high-resolution SR-SIM images. Both image reconstruction methods prove to be very robust against image reconstruction artifacts and generalize very well over various noise levels. The combination of computational reconstruction and subsequent denoising via RED-Net shows very robust performance during inference after training even if the microscope settings change. Abstract: Digital micromirror devices (DMDs) are spatial light modulators that employ the electro-mechanical movement of miniaturized mirrors to steer and thus modulate the light reflected of a mirror array. Their wide availability, low cost and high speed make them a popular choice both in consumer electronics such as video projectors, and scientific applications such as microscopy. High-end fluorescence microscopy systems typically employ laser light sources, which by their nature provide coherent excitation light. In super-resolution microscopy applications that use light modulation, most notably structured illumination microscopy (SIM), the coherent nature of the excitation light becomes a requirement to achieve optimal interference pattern contrast. The universal combination of DMDs and coherent light sources, especially when working with multiple different wavelengths, is unfortunately not straight forward. The substructure of the tilted micromirror array gives rise to a blazed grating, which has to be understood and which must be taken into account when designing a DMD-based illumination system. Here, we present a set of simulation frameworks that explore the use of DMDs in conjunction with coherent light sources, motivated by their application in SIM, but which are generalizable to other light patterning applications. This framework provides all the tools to explore and compute DMD-based diffraction effects and to simulate possible system alignment configurations computationally, which simplifies the system design process and provides guidance for setting up DMD-based microscopes. In this episode we are talking to Anne, full time yoga teacher and mindfulness teacher. For her Yoga is all about creating space, your own Bubble, it is a tool to open us up and reconnect emotionally, physically, mentally. It doesn't matter why you come to a yoga, or what takes you there.Trying to persuade anyone to do yoga is not the path to yoga, the benefits of yoga can be googled, but at the end it is all about the experience. If someone comes to studio to do work out, do split or simply create space, it doesnt matter, whatever brings you to the room first time, we trust something else will happen. The magic of yoga will arrive.Almost every time you just get onto mat, it is a way to check in, to realise the impermanence of things. We talk, why yoga, what has changed in terms of the yoga industry, how do yoga teachers keep their cap full, that it doesnt matter where you do yoga.About Anne in her own words:I am here to help you create more space for yourself;Through Yoga to bring movement to your body & reconnect to your breath;Through Mindfulness to quiet the mind & find more balance to navigate the real world;Through Community to create meaningful connections & empower each other to grow. Born & raised in France, I started to practice yoga in 2011 in the middle of an always-on-the-go marketing corporate life. This encounter rapidly turned into a love story, an essential part of my lifestyle, a place of constant exploration & inspiration! Realising how much clarity & truth yoga brought to my life – and as ‘love is the only thing that grows when shared’ (A. de St-Exupéry) – I decided to step out of my corporate role & share what I know & am passionate about with others.Since 2015, you’ll find me teaching Yoga & Mindfulness in studios rooms, business offices, schools & universities or private living spaces, besides running my own studio 'Bubble Yoga' in St. Gallen, Switzerland.I aim to inspire my students to believe in their own capacity to grow & know themselves. I encourage them to be grateful for their successes and playful with their challenges. I offer a safe space for them to practice free of judgement or competition, to connect to themselves & others. I believe in & commit to Yoga for All.She completed my 200H Hatha Teacher Training at Sanapurna Ayurveda & Yoga in Zürich under the guidance of Poonam Stecher Sharma, Sanjeev Banot & Mélanie Huser along with a team of talented teachers. Over the years she has also been fortunate to attend trainings with Mark Stephens, Simon Park or Maty Ezraty among others. In 2016 I completed a Prana Vinyasa Teacher Training immersion with Shiva Rea.About Our Host: Lucia Hargasova is a Leadership and Life Coach.
