Please go subscribe and like their podcast, and leave your hot takes about this game in the reviews. 1. Indiana starts at 1:00 Michigan climbs to 18 spots in the NET rankings to reach the fringe of the NCAA Men's Tournament bubble. Everything seemed to come easy in this game. The emergence of Hunter Dickinson's three point game will change how teams have to prepare for him. Parallels are drawn between this Michigan team and last season's Ohio State team. Diabaté was extremely energized in this game. This feels like a young team that is finally turning a corner. [The rest of the writeup and the player after THE JUMP] 2. Maryland starts at 19:05 Michigan runs out to a big lead and was never threatened against a not-great Maryland team that has a surprising lack of talent on it. Frankie Collins has an alley-oop from Eli Brooks, followed by a play Brian cannot describe with proper words, followed by two air-balled threes. Doesn't seem like a shooter right now but can be ball dominant. DeVante' Jones has been more efficient and less turnover prone, which may be a big reason Michigan has looked better in recent weeks. 3. Hot Takes, Harbaugh Thoughts starts at 33:50 Takes hotter than Hunter Dickinson in the last couple of games. Brian's take gets some form of "wow" from everyone who heard it. Can Michigan de-throne Stanford?? Latest rumor is the Raiders don't want to make a move for Harbaugh because Jim Harbaugh is weird. NFL people are even weirder, though. Brian and Seth try to dissect what might be going through Jim's mind during this offseason. 4. Hockey vs Minnesota starts at 57:35 Alex and David come in to talk hockey. Michigan is up to #1 in the Pairwise rankings, also tied for first place in the Big Ten with Ohio State. Big Ten is really strong this year - even Penn State who is last in the Big Ten is ranked 24th in the Pairwise. Minnesota's rink is hard to adapt to - it's bigger and the nets like to come off easily. Michigan losing players to the Olympics is mitigated by a bye week, but those players will be gone for the Ohio State series. Brian is so so excited for Michigan to be the #1 overall seed in the NCAA Hockey Tournament and that they'll play somewhere 1,000 miles away.

Schott will also have interviews with head coaches from three of the teams playing in Albany: Jerry York (Boston College), Albie O'Donnell (Boston University) and Jeff Jackson (Notre Dame). “The Parting Schotts Podcast” is available wherever you get your podcasts and at https://dailygazette.com/category/sports/parting-schotts/.
It’s a unique episode of the Sound Of Hockey Podcast this week, as a personal matter for one the hosts makes recording a full episode impossible. As an alternative, the guys chat – for a whopping fourth time – with best friend of the pod, Chris Peters. Chris never disappoints. He brings the heat as always, diving deep into the NCAA Hockey Tournament and what to anticipate from that. He also takes a look at the NHL Draft and which prospects will be in range for the Seattle Kraken to select. He even dishes on who from the college or junior ranks could make a good coach for the Kraken. Thanks for bearing with the guys on an altered format this week, but they hope you enjoy this great conversation with Chris. The Sound Of Hockey Podcast will be back with its regularly scheduled programming next week. SUBSCRIBE! ENJOY! REVIEW!

Every Conference Championship game ended 3-2 over the weekend. Four of them needed overtime. Chris Lynch is joined by Josh Kummins of the New England Hockey Journal and Jason Scales of puckingoff.com to try and digest the weekend's entertainment. The three also channel their (hopefully correct) inner Nostradamus and predict the Regionals of the NCAA Hockey Tournament. There's also some player movement to discuss and a new CT tournament fulfilling Project Beanpot Everywhere.
Since October, we’ve been building to an inevitable and thrilling end to college hockey season. Here it comes, with the NCAA Regionals getting underway on Friday and taking us through the weekend. It’s a wide-open field, even compared to other years, and with so many teams capable of making a run it’s really anyone’s game at this point. Chris Lynch of Insidehockey.com joins the show to break down last week’s conference finals, this year’s bracket, and whether one of the Hockey East teams in the northeast region will advance. This year’s bracket, courtesy of USCHO
