Packinghouse's Wednesday night worship service from November 26, 2025. Psalm 67 asks God to bless us and shine His face on us so that His ways and salvation are known to all nations. As we receive mercy, we're sent to share it—“let all the peoples praise You”—because real worship is gratitude, obedience, and trust in His righteous rule. When thankfulness rises, fruitfulness follows: God blesses, the earth yields its increase, and His blessing flows through us to the ends of the earth. - Ed Rea - Wednesday, November 26, 2025

A repodcast of our Thanksgiving Eve live show: following up on your comments on the state of bicycle touring, plus a bunch of great questions in an Ask Me Anything segment! Followup: Is Bicycle Touring in Decline? More emails on this than any topic in a while. Some selected thoughts from listeners: Regarding ACA Multiple listeners: Could ACA be losing older members in its attempts to expand into younger audiences, but worse… might not be succeeding on either front? It's hard to do both, and that's the challenge… you need to find what drives your constituencies and sometimes you swing and miss. @BounceBackWesterner"I subscribed to the ACA magazine for one year. I was happy with one edition, but then, it seemed like there was a trend to rides that were extremely challenging and demanding whether that be road or offroad. These folks predominantly seemed younger and maybe that's where most of their subscriptions come from. " Another point: ACA was built on a need which may not exist anymore. Before they were the best and maybe only resource for routes and maps that had been vetted. Now there are way more resources. Listener Harry Hellerman was a great example of someone who's let his ACA membership lapse after 20 years. The reason? Kind of what ACA was saying… he says he's aging out and the roads are now occupied by larger and larger vehicles, so there's a safety concern. Regarding Touring being down Multiple listeners: Travel is down across the board, but travel to the US in particular has taken a huge hit. Lots of factors there, but you can't ignore the current politics as a possible reason here. Listener Andrew Piper: "Data point: For a 2-year comparison, the overall demand for search terms around "bike touring" is infact down 25%-35% YoY. However, using the same comparison, the demand for terms around "bikepacking" is up about 40%. Which does lend itself to the change in nomenclature more than an actual decline in interest." "I think I am maybe a couple years younger than yourself at best. Of the people I have seen doing this, I always feel I am on the younger side of the sport. Logistically it makes sense. Who has time to do this....older people." Bicycling for older generations was a big part of freedom - it might not be that for younger generations? Listener Dr. G4 wrote a really thoughtful email from the perspective of a younger rider. Shorter touring is much more of a thing Some of the places where the routes go don't feel welcoming (political, demographics) Real shift to urbanism amongst younger generation Poor infrastructure/safety perception: ACA represents an older version of bicycle travel (longer trips) "I think what the next generation wants is not road maps, but trail maps and advocacy for more trails and trail amenities (and, I might note, probably videos, how-tos, explainers, and meetups, not print versions of easily-googleable information)." "it's clear from the overabundance of urbanist youth getting around by transit, bicycles, or even scooters that travel by bicycle isn't going anywhere anytime soon. But turning them into bicycle tourers involves developing routes and programs that are closer to cities and farther from cars, marketing dedicated bicycle trails as one piece of an integrated solution for transit- and bicycle-accessible nature, specifically focussing on routes with many transit junctions to allow long routes to be chewed in smaller chunks, helping the rapidly-growing contingent of bicycle commuters to learn how to use their bicycles beyond weekdays to short or long weekends (with week-long or more tours being an eventual end goal, not the primary purpose), and politically advocating for car-displacing trains, trails, and cycle tracks that make all this possible." •Rails to Trails Conservancy may have the better model?

It's Thanksgiving Eve in YFT-land, which means it's officially time to debate the truly important things — like whether peanut butter whiskey counts as a respectable holiday gift and if the college years were actually the peak Thanksgiving era. Brandi reports back from her Vegas F1 adventure, while Wells's schedule has fewer openings than a Costco parking lot on a Saturday. Ya boy is booked.JetBlue somehow earns a ding for going above and beyond (words we never thought we'd say about an airline), a lonely NYC smoker suddenly has hundreds of new friends, and February 2026 may just be the most mathematically perfect month ever created. Plus, they preview Friday night’s bucket game between IU and Purdue. (25:08-42:02) – Jeff Rabjohns from Peegs.com joins the show to give his perspective on last night’s win for the Hoosiers, gives a very detailed breakdown of what he has heard about the potential for Trent Sisley, agrees with Jake as to what he has heard about Tayton Conerway, and admits that his concerns about IU match what Jake and Eddie are concerned about. (36:15-47:16) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake asking Eddie for his opinion on a situation that he found himself in because he needs to know if he is in the right or wrong. (47:16-1:10:26) – Hour number two of Query & Company starts with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing Sunday’s game for the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans. It's Thanksgiving Eve, and Amanda & Trevin are inviting you to their table a day early—just in time to practice a few conversations you might want to avoid at your own family gathering. This week, the crew actually gives thanks for a change. Trevin reflects on discovering Jesus and John Wayne: How White Evangelicals Corrupted a Faith and Fractured a Nation, and how the book connects to his family's history with masculinity. Amanda finds gratitude in her injured wrist, even writing a heartfelt (and hilarious) poem about all the good it brings into her life. To warm things up, they dive into Thanksgiving Trivia. Amanda quizzes Trevin about a returning character in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, leading to theories ranging from Shrek to Ronald McDonald—plus a dubious Spider-Man parade memory. Trevin's trivia topic exposes a viral Facebook article on the legal scams the platform feeds users daily, and the big money behind them. Then it's on to the main course: a full holiday platter of petty crimes, scams, chaos, and questionable choices. Tempe, AZ: LaVina Jackson is arrested after a Thanksgiving fight—then picked up from jail by her partner, Miguel Redshirt, in a stolen truck. Burlington, Ontario: A local man shares fake nudes of his ex-wife with a friend, leading to an unusual court decision. Lafayette, Louisiana: Walmart employees Stacey Dishman, Jordan Lee Dalton, and Abigail Lane cheat Black Friday promotions for extra cash. Hamilton, Ontario: A 36-year-old man steals a Hamilton Street Railway bus full of passengers… and heroically takes everyone to their correct stops (while denying unpaid riders). Bucks County, Philadelphia: Anthony Gisondi steals hundreds of dollars worth of frozen turkeys to pay for drugs—and someone unexpected takes him down. France: Oscar Delaite, 19, breaks the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous bicycle wheelie—just because he felt like it. We're serving up a Thanksgiving spread that will leave you full, subdued, and passed out on the couch.Join us at the table. Come hungry and leave stuffed with crime. Ep. 951 - On this Thanksgiving Eve, it's important to give thanks. And for the past two games, the Arizona Cardinals - and their fans - are thankful for Michael Wilson. His 25 receptions and 303 receiving yards lead the league since Week 11. Craig Grialou and Dani Sureck discuss what they've seen from the third-year wide receiver, why it isn't a surprise to many of Wilson's teammates and coaches, and how Wilson might be able to continue to be productive even with the likely return of Marvin Harrison Jr. this week. That's right, No. 18 returned to practice on Wednesday. Craig and Dani go over the week's first injury report plus Paris Johnson Jr. says the inability to run the football the past two games falls on the offensive line.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

On today's podcast episode, we discuss the unofficial list of retail moves we're most thankful for. This month—because it's Thanksgiving Eve—host Suzy Davidkhanian, Arielle Feger, Becky Schilling, and Emmy Liederman (aka The Committee) have put together a very unofficial list of the top eight retailers they're watching, based on strategies, launches, and collaborations we're genuinely thankful for — the moves that made us smile, surprised us, or gave us hope for where retail is heading. In this episode, Committee members Suzy Davidkhanian and Emmy Liederman will defend their list against Senior Analyst Zak Stambor and Analyst Rachel Wolff, who will dispute the power rankings by attempting to move retailers up, down, on, or off the list.
