Happy National Cookie Cutter Day!Ladies and gentlemen we are back for the 13th NFL Sunday of the year! We had an incredible Sunday NFL slate and Thanksgiving football, the AFC South is up for grabs, the Steelers stink, 49ers win 3 in a row, Cowboys can win NFC East, Lions might be frauds, Bears are the new 1 seed, Eagles crashing and more … We are going to go down through the top 5 takeaways from the NFL, Plus so much more football!Plus, we had another EPIC week in college football for week 14 where we now have only 2 undefeated teams. Texas A&M loses to Texas, Iron bowl was awesome, Duke to the ACC title game, Lane Kiffin to LSU & more! We will review our picks of the week and CBS pick em selections. Also, our school App State missed a bowl game AGAIN.The football segments continue! We have the shambles-o-meter, hang the banners, and of course our DraftKings DFS/Bets recap! Finally, we all root for different teams (49ers - AK, Bills - JVi, Cowboys - ButchP/Tex, & DYLON - Vikings) so we will have to go to the podium to answer questions and/or brag insufferably. Thanksgiving Football! Chris and Kyle Long run through the Thanksgiving games from Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season and breakdown the action. The Dallas Cowboys look like a team that nobody wants to play right now, a far cry from their lackluster defense early in the season. Quinnen Williams has been a godsend, with his defensive performances equaling the output of Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens on the offensive side of the ball. It is getting late early for the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. The Green Bay Packers have swept the Detroit Lions in their matchups this season. Jordan Love was dynamic against the blitz, Matt LaFleur dialed up a great gameplan and Micah Parsons is a game wrecker. And in Joe Burrow's return, the Cincinnati Bengals defense was incredible. Lamar Jackson was contained and Derrick Henry was held in check as the Bengals inched closer to a longshot playoff spot. Thursday afternoon means a fresh episode of Real Life was recorded, edited, and is ready to help you wrap up the week. On today's podcast, the guys discussed Thanksgiving football, Chalmers' door-locking routine, the Oilers' autograph session at WEM, and more. The guys kicked off the Thursday episode of Real Life with a Thanksgiving discussion about turkey and how many cuisines from around the world don't use turkey. Somehow, talking about turkey led the guys to discuss whether they'd be comfortable hunting. Given how popular hunting is among a segment of the population, it was interesting to hear the boys' thoughts on whether they could do it. Spoiler: The room was split. Changing gears, the conversation somehow turned to Chalmers' fear of judgment when he locks the door behind a departing guest too soon. He doesn't want the person to hear him lock the door behind them. While he was the only one on the podcast to have this fear, it was fascinating to hear his thoughts on the proper timeline for locking up. Shifting the conversation again, the boys discussed the Oilers' autograph session at WEM and how long they would be willing to wait in line for an autograph. Finally, the guys wrapped up the podcast with the Thursday episode of Real Life with a random collection of topics, including a look at anything other than the Edmonton Oilers. Needless to say, when the team is as bad as they've been lately, talking about literally any other topic just seems more enjoyable. As always, the Thursday episode was all over the map, which is precisely what you'd expect from the Real Life podcast. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Matt Jones and Drew Franklin discuss their traditions for Thanksgiving and football. The Cowboys and Lions make this year's games fantastic. The Panthers streak of winning the toss and winning the game comes to an end against the 49ers. Joe Burrow returns for the Bengals, but Matt isn't sure if it's the right decision. How have the new kickoff rules helped Titans WR Chimere Dike lead the league in all purpose yards? Matt and Drew look at the early mock drafts and where the Titans will be picking. Could WR George PIckens be one of the best trades ever after his performance in Dallas? What should you expect in the 2nd start from Shedeur Sanders? The Bucs got good news on Baker Mayfield's injury. JJ McCarthy could be sidelined for the Vikings. The Giants continue to make changes after another 4th quarter loss. Matt recaps the festivities around the John Madden Thanksgiving before revealing their picks for the three games of the day. What is the timeline for your Thanksgiving? Plus, we wrap up with the Survivor and TD Parlay picks.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

“The most dangerous person is one who truly believes in himself..." Darren Woodson 3x Super Bowl Champion It's Thanksgiving week and we have a lot to be grateful for Pivot Family and can't celebrate this holiday without talking about gratitude, family and of course football. And when we talk Thanksgiving football- we have to talk Dallas Cowboys. In this episode of The Pivot Podcast, Cowboys star Darren Woodson joins Ryan, Channing, and Fred for a raw, unfiltered conversation that dives deep into the dynasty years in Dallas and the life lessons that shaped him on and off the field. Known as one of the toughest safeties to ever play the game, Woodson pulls back the curtain on what it was really like lining up alongside legends like Deion Sanders, Larry Allen, Michael Irvin. and Troy Aikman during one of the most iconic eras in NFL history. Woodson brings the locker room to life with stories of competing with Irvin's relentless intensity, Aikman's leadership standard, Deion's unmatched swagger, and the brotherhood that held the team together through championship runs. He also shares his firsthand perspective on the infamous Leon Lett Thanksgiving game moment, revealing how it felt on the field, how the team reacted, and why that play became one of the most unforgettable—and teachable—moments in Cowboys history but also a defining moment of who Jimmy Johnson is not just as a coach but a man. He speaks candidly of Jerry Jones and shares insight that we don't see as we often criticize and publicize the way he has built one of the most profound sports organizations. Beyond the highlights and headlines, Woodson opens up about identity, transitions, fatherhood, and building a purpose-driven life after football. From the mental toughness learned on the gridiron to the vulnerability required in the next chapters of his life, this episode shows Darren Woodson as more than a three-time Super Bowl champion—he's a leader still evolving. Authentic, emotional, and full of championship-level storytelling, this conversation is a must-listen for fans of the game and anyone striving to redefine themselves beyond their greatest successes. It's a masterclass in resilience and reinvention from one of the league's all-time great competitors. BT & Sal torch Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner for his "tone-deaf" comments and for treating the Yankees as a business first, calling his $100 million payment to New York City an "excuse" for not spending to win. The hosts criticize Hal's complacency with Brian Cashman, demanding accountability for the championship drought and lack of player development. The debate spills over to ranking New York's sports owners (Mara, Woody, Cohen, Dolan) by their commitment to winning. In a hypothetical blockbuster, Sal makes the case for an aggressive Mets trade for Fernando Tatis Jr. over signing free agents. NFL Insider Brian Baldinger joins to dismantle the 2-10 Giants' claim that they're better than their record. The show wraps with a breakdown of the historic Thanksgiving Football slate, the "Bald Faced Lie, Bald Faced Truth" segment, and a "Call of the Day" where a furious Yankee fan "savages" Brandon Tierney for not being aggressive enough against Hal, vowing a boycott against the "trust fund puke."
