He holds a B.S. in Pastoral Ministry from Lee University and an M.A. in Counseling from The Church of God Theological Seminary. Austin's career bridges the church and clinical mental health worlds. He has served youth through ministry and worked extensively in state mental health hospitals, gaining experience with nearly every mental health diagnosis. He is the founder of Clearfork Academy, a Christ-centered residential treatment center for teens struggling with mental health and substance use. He thrives on working with clients others might call “difficult,” driven by compassion and clinical skill. Austin is also the author of My Kid, My Crisis (2023), a moving collection of stories and insights into parenting, faith, and therapeutic transformation in the face of teen mental health challenges. When he's not working, Austin enjoys being with his family, making music, woodworking, reading, and staying active.

Self-doubt ate me up every time I hit record. I started overthinking every word before it came out of my mouth. As someone who just started threading the podcasting world, my infinitesimal confidence became nonexistent. It wasn't the most pleasant feeling. If I let those words live rent-free in my head, I wouldn't be here talking (still no script, by the way) and pouring my heart out. Before I knew it, eight episodes became TEN SEASONS! It's a far cry from those grand success stories, but relistening to the first few releases of The Ripple Effect Podcast made me realize there has been significant improvement. It may feel like you've achieved nothing today or tomorrow, but look back to this day a few years later, and you'll see something to be proud of. I started upping my game. I ditched Garage Band, my crappy equipment, and began investing in better gear. After offering to do books for a friend who said he didn't have enough work to keep someone in the office 20 hours a week, she recognized the need for an efficient, online system. She has 20 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience and is excited to help small business owners achieve their goals. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling whenever possible. She is the firstborn of eight children and a mother to five.  She also loves hiking, camping, cooking, yoga, and fitness.  A huge believer in lifelong education, she recently earned her MBA and is currently working on her Master's of Accounting.   Highlights: Donna shares her journey from studying Computer Science in college to working with family members and acquaintances who needed bookkeeping services at their companies.
