Bunun sebebini sordu. Şeytan onu da şöyle anlattı: “İmanlı cimri, bir gün cimriliği sonunda imanını kaybedebilir; fâsık kişi ise, cömertliği yüzünden iyilere katılabilir.” Dünya ile yalnız dünya için meşgul ol. Gözün zinası harama bakmaktır. Gözlerin günde kaç defa zina ediyor, biliyor musun? Kadınlara ve çocuklara kötülükle bakıyorsun. Allah Teâlâ'nın şu kelâmını işitmedin mi: “İman sahiplerine söyle; gözlerini çevirsinler. (Harama bakmasınlar)” (En-Nûr, 24/30) Ey çaresiz, sabırlı ol. Dünyanın çaresizliği çabuk geçer. Büyük Peygamberimiz (s.a.v), Hz. Âişe'ye şöyle buyurdu: “Yâ Âişe, dünyanın acılığını, âhiretin iyiliği için iç.” Çalış, geçmişte verilen hükme güvenme; orada isminin hangi defterde yazıldığını bilemezsin. Şaki veya said olduğunu göremezsin. Bu sır, ilâhî bilgi hazinesinde saklıdır; karışma, karışacak olursan dinden çıkarsın. Çalış, yapacağın işler acı gelse de yap. Geçmişte verilen hüküm, seni ilgilendirmesin. Yapacağın işlere bak. O derin bilgiyi ne sen ne de başkası bilir. Buna kader bahsi denir. Kader ilmini ne sen tam bilirsin ne de başkaları.Zavallı, nefsinin perişanlığına ağla. Bir çocuğun ölse, kıyamet kopmuş gibi göz yaşı akıtırsın.
