In 1998, Auburn Network, Inc. launched it's signature local program, Auburn/Opelika This Morning, with the mission of being the area's unquestioned radio leader for local news, weather, information, and interviews- and the show has achieved just that. The show has been recognized by the Alabama Broadcasters' Association nine times as being the best small market radio talk show in the state. Additionally, NewsTalk WANI has been recognized as Alabama's Station of the Year on two separate occasions, the only station in the history of the state to ever accomplish that feat. The first host of Auburn/Opelika This Morning in 1998 was Jerry Katz, followed by Jerry Potter, the late Rod Bramblett, current voice of the Auburn Tigers Andy Burcham, Bob Wooddy, and Zac Blackerby. Beginning in 2022, which is the 25th year of the show, Ben Taylor became the 7th host of Auburn/Opelika This Morning. Auburn-Opelika This Morning is quite simply the most informative radio show in Lee County. The ABBY Award Winning Show airs from 6:00-9:00 weekday mornings and includes local and national news, sports, weather, local event coverage, special features, and live in-studio guests. AOTM provides the only local newscast in Lee County airing at the top-of-the-hour, following Fox News, as well as at the bottom of each hour. Auburn-Opelika This Morning also features weekly segments including the Big Screen Movie Review and the Church & Pastor Spotlight. Auburn-Opelika this Morning is where listeners know to tune to hear Auburn/Opelika's movers, shakers, and decision-makers.

Talking Tigers Podcast with Andy Burcham, Presented by Wickles Pickles-Rod Bramblett Retrospective
For 20 years, Stan White has been the color analyst for football broadcasts on the Auburn Sports Network. The Tigers' all-time leading passer spent four years in the NFL, then moved back to Alabama. Soon thereafter, he joined Andy Burcham in the booth for Pay Per View and Tape Delay telecasts. When Charlie Trotman stepped down from the radio booth, two years later, Stan moved in. He worked with a pair of legends, Jim Fyffe and Rod Bramblett. He never thought this part of his football career would last two decades. Stan White is featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast, presented by Wickles Pickles
In December of 2018, in the Auburn Sports Network Studio, the Voice of the Tigers, Rod Bramblett and I sat down for an interview with Pat Dye. The Hall of Fame Coach, passed away this week at the age of 80. During this interview, Coach Dye talked extensively about his childhood, his first days of coaching and his time at Auburn, including the first Iron Bowl at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Pat Dye and Rod Bramblett are featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast, presented by Wickles Pickles.
Today marks the one year anniversary of the tragic deaths of Rod and Paula Bramblett. A family lost it mother and father, son and daughter, brother and sister, aunt and uncle. We lost our friends. Auburn lost its voice. Last year, prior to the Auburn football season, Brad Law with the Auburn Sports Network, produced a tribute to Rod last year. This tribute features, Brad, former Auburn baseball coach Hal Baird, Paul Ellen, Stan White, Quentin Riggins and yours truly talking about our friend and colleague. It includes a Talking Tigers Podcast with Rod, from 2018, prior to his final season as the Voice of the Tigers. A tribute to Rod Bramblett in a special Talking Tigers Podcast, presented by Wickles Pickles.

Neal McCready (RebelGrove.com) and Jay G. Tate (AuburnSports.com) once again sit down to discuss a variety of topics including: • Neal and Jay opt to enjoy a beverage to open the show. • LSU is charging at least $8 per beer at Tiger Stadium. Is that a reasonable price? • LSU AD Scott Woodward takes a few shots at Nick Saban; Neal thinks Saban wishes he'd have stayed at LSU. • Jay is a BIG FAN of Kelly Ripa. • Neal and Jay give Saban his due; the guy's been really good. He's actually elevated the entire conference. • Why would Jay not attend games in the future? • Jay is thinking of deceased Auburn broadcaster Rod Bramblett today. • Jay leaned on his good friend "Ralph" during a recent bourbon tasting. • Jay once ate edibles before a football game. That didn't go real well. • Neal never has watched Chappelle's Show, which is Jay's all-time favorite show. • All this Chappelle talk is a perfect segue into Andrew Luck's retirement. • Jay's daughter is preparing to take college trips, but Jay is ready to "grease the wheels" to get her to make the decision he wants. • Jay passes along a bid day story. • The 80s song of the day is "Kokomo" by The Beach Boys — a group Neal apparently dislikes. Can an American hate The Beach Boys. • The guys take a gander at the weekend SEC slate. The Greatest Pod in The South is presented today jointly by Clark Ford and Larry Clark Chevrolet in Amory, Miss. If you're in the market for a Ford, give Corey Clark a call at (662) 257-1900. Rod Bramblett connected with Auburn fans for more than 25 years. In this tribute, some of Rod's broadcast colleagues and friends share the stories behind their favorite calls.
Rod Bramblett, the legendary and beloved voice of the Auburn Tigers, was tragically killed in a car accident on May 25, 2019. His best friend, Andy Burcham, is now trying to figure out how he can possibly help fill the enormous void left by Rod's passing; not only in the broadcast booth, but in the lives of the people who were most important to Rod: his children.

The late Auburn Tigers PxP voice Rod Bramblett lived for his team. His passion oozed through every word he announced. Recently Rod tragically passed away in an automobile accident and many of you have tweeted or emailed that you'd like us to repost the Rod Bramblett episode ... and here it is, Episode 108 with Auburn's Rod Bramblett. He was so enthusiastic about coming on the pod, and I was excited to have had the opportunity to have him.
Neal McCready (RebelGrove.com), Jay G. Tate (AuburnSports.com) and Gabriel "Gabe" DeArmond (PowerMizzou.com) once again sit down to discuss a variety of topics including: • Jay and Neal reminisce about Rod Bramblett, Auburn's lead broadcaster who died tragically last week. • Bruce Pearl is as good as it gets when it comes to talking. • It's the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landing in France. And, right on time, Russia pipes up to overstate its role in eliminating Nazi Germany. • Speaking of overrated Russians, Rocky 4 is the best Rocky. Everyone agrees. • Jay discusses his experiences at SEC Spring Meetings, which concluded last week. • Gabe still can't believe the spectacle that was Will Wade's press conference in Sandestin. • It's now open season on basketball recruiting. If you're not cheating, you're not trying. • The boys discuss how things will change now that the SEC has lifted its ban on alcohol sales at arenas. • Jay and Neal remember the drunkest stadium they ever saw — Auburn at LSU in 2001. "It was like Beirut," Jay says. • Jimbo Fisher recently bought a heifer, an actual head of cattle, for $80,000. • MSU coach Joe Moorhead recently lost 50 pounds through intermittent fasting, which leads the boys to consider if that plan would work for them. • Gabe wants to know why Texas A&M wanted Ross Bjork so much. Neal answers. • Jay passes along a short story about Ed Orgeron. • Jay sold his home in five hours the other day. Is that good or bad? • Jay and his friends are heading to Punta Cana soon, which is bad considering the recent death of several Americans down there. Gabe and Neal wish Jay the best. • The boys tackle the thorny subject of actress Marcia Cross' public bout with anal cancer. There are follow-up questions ... • A big thank-you to Corey Clark of Clark Ford for his generosity. (Read below.) The Greatest Pod in The South is presented today jointly by Clark Ford and Larry Clark Chevrolet in Amory, Miss. If you're in the market for a Ford, give Corey Clark a call at (662) 257-1900. Since his days as a coach, he's worked in radio and television and now sits alongside Rod Bramblett and Brad Law on the Auburn Sports Network for Auburn Basketball broadcasts. Sonny was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 2007 and along with his wife Jan, they sat down for this edition of the Talking Tigers Podcast.

This past past September, the home dugout at Plainsman Park was named in his honor Since 1993, Rod Bramblett has called Auburn baseball games and in 1995, Andry Burcham joined Bramblett for the radio calls. Together they team up to handle this week's Talking Tigers Podcast.
The Honks take you up to kickoff as they hear from Greg Gaines and Chris Petersen, talk with Auburn PxP voice Rod Bramblett, cornerback Byron Murphy and Evan Moore of the Pac-12 Network.
Imagine you're calling one of the biggest college football rivalries in the country. One team is attempting a FG on the final play of regulation. Did you remember to check to see if your team had a man deep to return it? What would you say if that deep man ran the kick back for a game-winning score? Would you be ready for one of the biggest moments in college football history? How would you call it? Rod Bramblett lived that all with the Iron Bowl Kick-Six and this week on PxPCast he breaks down that call and talks his passion for this business and getting to know student-athletes...even ones like Cam Newton, who everybody wanted to talk with.

It's more than just a play call. It's a lifestyle. This week, The MindSide Podcast brings on “Kick-Six” (Auburn Football) announcer, Rod Bramblett, to share his wisdom and life lessons he has learned from being a sport's announcer. An announcer creates the vision for the listener at home, and it's not as easy as it seems. You must know the people, the stats, the opponents, the personalities, it's about “treating it like studying up for a quiz.” In this podcast, Rod talks about the preparation and the work that goes into his profession along with the attitude needed to excel such as the acceptance of constructive feedback. “The day when you think ‘I got this all down pat,' is the day you're probably going to get fired.” Starting as a DJ for a local news station, Bramblett worked hard to become one of the best sports announcers in the field. Once he landed a sports announcer position the work didn't stop there. “You have to be mentally strong and mentally committed to making both your home and your professional life work.” Please enjoy this week's episode on The MindSide Podcast!
