While it will remain to be seen exactly what happens when he meets Kiwi lightweight Dan Hooker at UFC Auckland in February, Paul Felder can assure fans of one thing."Someone's getting hurt, I can tell you that. There will be blood, there will be blood."Felder and Hooker, ranked No 6 and 7 in the UFC lightweight division respectively, will face off in the main event of the UFC's return to Auckland on February 23 with more than simply another result on the line.For both fighters, it will be their first headline fight on a card and it's an important step in their overall goal of being considered for a title shot in the near future."If you want to get toward that title fight, I think one of the steps you've got to take is to main event something; to show you can headline something, you can sell it, you can be what they want to push toward that title fight," Felder told the Herald . "If you're just a boring fighter, can't sell anything and don't know how to hype it up, nobody wants to buy your product."Me and him are both guys that a hungry right now to show that we are the calibre of person that can be fighting for that belt and when you put two guys like that in the cage together and know there's potential title implications on the line, you're going to get the best out of them."In a combined 48 professional fights, the Philadelphia native and Hooker boast 28 wins by stoppage with 20 knockouts, with 15 of the pair's combined 26 UFC bouts ending before the final bell."For this fight, you've basically got two guys who are immovable objects that want to collide against each other. It's just going to make for one hell of a main event here in New Zealand; this is going to be one that people talk about as fight of the year."I think people are happy to have me here. I think if somebody was going to come and challenge him, people are excited that it's me. They know my style; they know what I'm going to bring to this fight. No matter what happens on February 23, it's going to be exciting."But while Felder is hopeful to improve his case for a title shot at the expense of the hometown favourite, the fight is about more than simply himself against Hooker.For Felder, who trains with Duke Roufus at Roufusport in Milwaukee, it's a chance to put his team's style of striking against that of now world renowned Auckland gym City Kickboxing. Home to the likes of Hooker, UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and No 6 ranked flyweight contender Kai Kara-France, City Kickboxing is ranked as the top UFC stable heading into the final month of the year."It wasn't just me who wanted this fight," Felder admitted, "Duke wanted this fight. We wanted to come over here and make a statement. “Razor” Razak Al-Hassan (11-3) joins "Rabble Rousin'" Rich Bergeron in this podcast. Razak is a submission specialist who started off his MMA career with seven straight wins, with five coming via submission. His reputation as a tapout authority was cemented, and the UFC® came calling. In “Razor’s” first bout with the promotion, he locked horns with Steve Cantwell at “UFC®: Fight For The Troops” in North Carolina. Cantwell caught the Roufusport fighter in an armbar late in the 1st round, but the tough Ghanaian competitor refused to tap out, despite the fact that his arm dislocated at the elbow. After recovering from the injury, Al-Hassan next faced Kyle Kingsbury at UFC® 104. A back-and-forth battle ensued. In the end, Kingsbury had his hand raised in a somewhat controversial decision loss for “Razor.” Though Al-Hassan had suffered losses in both his fights with the UFC®, and was released as a result, the young fighter had proved his could compete with top fighters. After he left the promotion, “Razor” went on a tear, knocking out or submitting four straight opponents, including another UFC® veteran Sherman Pendergarst. In his latest fight, Al-Hassan lost a hotly-contested and controversial decision to Dwayne Lewis at a Maximum Fighting Championships event. Now looking to rebound, “Razor” will face arguably the toughest test of his career in Houston “The Assassin” Alexander at “MMA Fight Pit: Genesis” on Saturday, August 13, 2011.

In this episode "Rabble Rousin'" Rich Bergeron chats with Sergio Pettis, the brother of former WEC® Lightweight Champion Anthony “Showtime” Pettis. At only 17 years old, Sergio has been training with Roufusport in preparation for a professional career as a fighter. Now, he’ll take the next step of his career, as he’ll compete for the Canadian Fighting Championship (CFC) in September in his first pro bout. CFC President Giuseppe DeNatale exclaimed, “I’ve been hearing about the Pettis boys for several years now, and I know they’re both very, very talented. I’m excited and honored to have Sergio competing on our show, and I look forward to seeing him put on a great performance. It’s going to be a great night for fight fans.” About his first professional fight, Sergio had this to say: “It’s going to mean a lot. If I lose, it could determine my future in the sport. And if I do well, it could be a huge boost. So there’s a lot of pressure on me, but I’m going to have to pull through.” “Showtime” is also very excited about his brother’s pro debut: “It’s awesome. I set out in this sport to do that, to help pave the way for him. I think he’s going to have a very successful pro debut. And he’s going to make a big impact in this sport. The sport can be lucrative, and he’s going to take advantage of that. Sergio has a very, very bright future.” Anthony continued, “He’s my main training partner, and he’s only 17 years old. Whether it’s me, Erik Koch, or Danny Downes, Sergio is holding his own against all of us in training. He’s going to be a monster, and he’s going to do huge things in MMA.”
