This week on The Razzle Dazzle Show, we're sprinting into the Speed Force to talk about Chaz's all-time favorite superhero — The Flash! From lightning-fast punches to multiverse madness, we're breaking down what makes the Scarlet Speedster so iconic. Why does Chaz love The Flash more than Batman? (Yes, he said that. On record.)Tune in for comic book chaos, animated nostalgia, and a full-blown nerd-out about why running really, really fast is the coolest superpower ever.Hosts: Jared Gonzalez, Chaz Hawkins, Mauro Piquera.Master Chief Engineer: Jared Gonzalez.Editor: Jared Gonzalez.Graphics Editor: Jared Gonzalez.Digital Media Editor: Jared Gonzalez.Producer: Jared Gonzalez.
The Good Brothers are back once again with another Static Shock review, this week with the season 4 caper that finds Static up against a scarlet speedster (but not THE Scarlet Speedster) in the episode "Now You See Him..." The hosts break down a plot the borrows some similar tech from a Batman The Animated Series episode with a bit of romance and Revenge of the Nerds thrown in, plus music that homages 80s alt-rock and 90s pop punk and a villain voiced by an actor typically found in a galaxy far, far away! Plus the hosts talk differences between Hypertime and the Speed Force, a very Twilight Zone ending for our villain and the question of the week that asks about a potential Daisy/Virgil romance storyline. Revisit 85 years of the Flash as the Scarlet Speedster celebrates his anniversary with Superhero Suite.
Cal & Liam are once again back with another season three Justice League Unlimited review, this week tackling the Flash-centered episode "Flash and Substance." The hosts talk a bit about the 85th Anniversary of the Flash character in 2025, how this episode acts as a love letter to the Scarlet Speedster and his DCAU persona, why this episode has a meta commentary on gritty and light-hearted superhero stories and a ton of fun Flash lore and DCAU easter eggs. Plus a discussion on the all-star voice cast featuring several DCAU voice acting legends, music that perfectly accentuates the wackiness of the plot and why Batman understands brand recognition being important. All of this a uncharacteristic disagreement on one of the category scores, and a preview of next week's Bonus Episode coverage on this week's all new DCAU Review! The Flash, despite the character's powers, took forever to speed its way to the big screen. Originally announced as part of DC's film slate in 2014, it would be nine long years before it was finally released. During that time, numerous directors and writers were attached and then detached from the project. Ultimately, amid numerous legal troubles, Ezra Miller would return to star and IT's Andy Muschietti would direct. Based loosely on the character's Flashpoint comic arc, The Flash went big with a time-hopping, multiverse tampering tale that would see the legendary Michael Keaton return as Batman for the first time in more than 30 years. That alone should have ensured it was a hit. Sadly, it did not. The Flash could not outrun the negative press for its star, or the shifting sands of the DC film landscape. On a budget as high as $220 million, it grossed just $271.3 million worldwide. Couple that with middling reviews, 63% on Rotten Tomatoes, and it is no surprise that this iteration of the Scarlet Speedster will more than likely not be seen again. Now, sit back, build some friction with a Speedway Stout from Alesmith Brewing Co., and get ready to beeve! I, the Thunderous Wizard (@WriterTLK), Bling Blake, Capt. Join us as we revisit the golden era of superhero television, discussing the highs, lows, and the electric charisma of the Scarlet Speedster. It's a whirlwind journey through '90s superhero magic that you won't want to miss! ⚡
After lengthy delays due to director turnover, the pandemic, studio shake-ups, and behind-the-scenes drama featuring its lead actor, DC Comics' Scarlet Speedster finally raced onto movie screens this past summer. Director Andy Muscetti helmed the pic, staring Ezra Miller as a Barry Allen who goes back in time to meet another Barry Allen, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Ben Affleck as Batman and also bringing Michael Keaton back as Batman. Despite bringing back your Dad's Batman and boasting a multiverse of meta-references, the film failed to find success in the Father's Day frame and fizzled out, making less than its production budget at the domestic box office. This all but sealed the fate of the DCEU, with James Gunn taking the reins. But don't despair! We're reuniting the crew from Crimson Comet with Haley, Rum Daddy, and Jonolobster joining to talk about The Flash one last time. Run, Barry, run! Listen separately or watch along with us as we talk through this fascinating artifact from a time when onscreen superheroes weren't quite as common as they are now, and John Wesley Shipp in moulded rubber was exactly what was missing in primetime. This week, the boys dig into the oversized celebration of the Scarlet Speedster, and check in with the new book focusing on some of the Metropolis supporting cast.
It's a Scarlet Speedster heavy edition of BWN this week as the guys take a close look at the latest news and rumors about what might be the biggest movie in the history of DC Comics, The Flash. What impact might Ezra Miller have on the present and future of the franchise and character and has he alienated enough people that this movie is in jeopardy of bombing? The great debate as to whether Michael Keaton is Bruce or Thomas Wayne continues on this week as well. The Trailer Park was rather light this week, although we got more speculation as to the final cast for The Fantastic Four. Lastly, the guys lament the latest content purge on Disney + and let everyone know what they have been watching lately.@AttitudeAgg@itsReyCash@PCTunney@ViolentAesop@therealcplatt@ChairshotMediaAbout Bandwagon NerdsJoin Patrick O'Dowd, David Ungar, PC Tunney and Rey Cash as they keep everyone up on all things nerd, and maybe add some new nerds along the way. So far this month the Comic Talkers have covered a lot of speedsters within the Flash Family. But there is one Flash that has not yet been covered, Bart Allen. For this episode, Comic Talkers Mari, Brandon, and Bryce cover Bart's first arc as The Scarlett Speedster entitled "The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive - Lightning In A Bottle." Written by Danny Bilson and Paul DeMeo with art by Ken Lashley, this story follows Bart as he struggles with the Speed Force and what leads Bart to take on the mantle of The Flash. The boys start to get along while also mixing themselves up with Lex, who has just come across a piece of a Russian manuscript with hidden Kryptonian secrets. Also, Jon is really needing a bro to hang with. Oh, and Lana argues with Jason about her tramp stamp. Real neat stuff.Kyle Gallner (Smile, Scream 5, Interrogation) special guest stars as Bart Allen.Don't forget to leave those five stars!

Welcome to an all new episode of The Cinema Gold Show. On today's episode: The Flash movie star Ezra Miller has reportedly been arrested in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and harassment. Miller was cast as the cinematic iteration of The Flash, as Grant Gustin portrays the TV incarnation on The CW. While a movie was announced all the way back in 2014, the project faced multiple delays. As Miller has been attached to the DC role for years, the DCEU star who is portraying the Scarlet Speedster appears to have landed in a new controversy. Moon Knight First Episode Releases March 30th, we let you know all the details. The Lost City Review: The Lost City scratches that particular Channing Tatum itch, the same one satisfied by his directorial debut Dog, where he once again claims the title of Himbo Supreme. His goofy charm, coupled with the radiant and reliable presence of Sandra Bullock — who, at the age of 57, continues to lead action and romance like nobody's business — keeps the film afloat, even when its mere 112-minute runtime starts to feel endless, and fewer of its jokes begin to land.
