1 And after these things the Lord appointed also other seventy-two: and he sent them two and two before his face into every city and place whither he himself was to come.Post haec autem designavit Dominus et alios septuaginta duos : et misit illos binos ante faciem suam in omnem civitatem et locum, quo erat ipse venturus. 2 And he said to them: The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send labourers into his harvest.Et dicebat illis : Messis quidem multa, operarii autem pauci. Rogate ergo dominum messis ut mittat operarios in messem suam. 3 Go: Behold I send you as lambs among wolves.Ite : ecce ego mitto vos sicut agnos inter lupos. 4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes; and salute no man by the way.Nolite portare sacculum, neque peram, neque calceamenta, et neminem per viam salutaveritis. 5 Into whatsoever house you enter, first say: Peace be to this house. In quamcumque domum intraveritis, primum dicite : Pax huic domui : 6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not, it shall return to you.et si ibi fuerit filius pacis, requiescet super illum pax vestra : sin autem, ad vos revertetur. 7 And in the same house, remain, eating and drinking such things as they have: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Remove not from house to house. In eadem autem domo manete, edentes et bibentes quae apud illos sunt : dignus est enim operarius mercede sua. Nolite transire de domo in domum. 8 And into what city soever you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you.Et in quamcumque civitatem intraveritis, et susceperint vos, manducate quae apponuntur vobis : 9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say to them: The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.et curate infirmos, qui in illa sunt, et dicite illis : Appropinquavit in vos regnum Dei.Leo XIII proclaimed St Vincent the patron of all charitable associations. He was the founder of the Lazarists, or the Priests of the Mission, and of the Sisters of Charity. He died A.D. 1660.

Fáilte ar ais chuig eagrán nua de Ar An Lá Seo ar an 20ú lá de mí an Mheithimh, liomsa Lauren Ní Loingsigh. I 1970 d'éalaigh garda nuair a phléasc buama foirgneamh. Tháinig an buama ó charr a raibh ag dul róthapa. I 1980 bhí boilsciú ann de 20.2% agus bhí fadhbanna ann d'fhostóirí agus ceardchumann éagsúla a bhí ag fáil réidh do thuiscint nua náisiúnta. I 2001 d'oscail ionad fóillíochta nua san Óstán Abbey Court san Aonach Urmhumhan agus bhí an jacuzzi is mó sa tír ann. Bhí an costas den áis timpeall 1.4 milliún agus bhí siad a súil go mbeadh a lán ball nua chun teacht. I 2012 bhí cúig ghradam pobail á thabhairt chuig daoine san Aonach Urmhumhan, Mollie Hyland agus Harry Martin don obair a rinne siad le St Vincent De Paul. Fuair Steven Hanley ghradam don obair a rinne sé don cumann dornálaíochta St Paul. Fuair Teddy Morgan gradam dá obair leis an chumann córúil agus fuair Deirdre Cavanagh gradam don obair leis an chumann spóirt. Sin Don McLean le Crying – an t-amhrán is mó ar an lá seo I 1980. Ag lean ar aghaidh le nuacht cheoil ar an lá seo I 1995 phós Don Henley ó The Eagles Sharon Summerall. Bhí daoine ann cosúil le Glenn Frey, Joel Walsh, Timothy B Schmit, David Crosby, Randy Newman, Jimmy Buffett, Jackson Browne, Billy Joel, Sting agus Sheryl Crow. I 1997 bhí a lán trácht I Kansas City de bharr go raibh U2 ann. Thug siad airgead don bhaile chun cúig lána a dhúnadh chun fís a dhéanamh dá amhrán Last Night On Earth. Chomh maith le plódú tráchta, chuaigh Cadillac isteach chuig píosa gloine chun seachain ceamaradóir. Agus ar deireadh breithlá daoine cáiliúla ar an lá seo rugadh Robert Rodriquez I Meiriceá I 1968 agus rugadh amhránaí Lionel Richie I Meiriceá ar an lá seo I 1949 agus seo chuid de amhrán. "Community engagement" might be bit of an understatement.Sean and Theresa lead the charge at St. Vincent de Paul - one of the nation's premiere ministries working to minister to the poor and homeless - in terms of pulling volunteers and donors into the mission. Their job titles each involve the words "community engagement".But, those simple and benign words belie the fact that their joint impact within the issue perplexing most of our nation might be unparalleled. But, how did they wind up on this journey and within these positions?Their stories are stirring...and may very well stir the hearts of any aspiring high school students that are also seeking God's direction...To learn more about the work of St. Vincent de Paul, please follow this link. REFLECTION- Fr. RonMUSICPRAYERTo You, do I belong O GodInto Your hands I surrender my life.Pour out Your Spirit upon methat I may love You perfectly, and serve you faithfullyuntil my soul rests in You.NOTES
Friends of the Rosary, Today, September 27, the Catholic Church celebrates the Memorial of the French priest St. Vincent de Paul (1581-1660), who founded the Congregation of the Priests of the Mission or Lazarists (now known as Vincentians) to preach especially to ignorant peasants of that time and to establish seminaries.St. Vincent de Paul was a great apostle of charity, and brought a great revival of the priesthood in the 17th century. As a young priest, he was captured by Moorish pirates who carried him to Africa. He was sold into slavery, but freed in 1607 when he converted his owner. To help poor girls, invalids, the insane, sick, and unemployed, he and St. Louise de Marillac founded the Congregation of the Daughters of Charity, now better known as the Sisters of St. Vincent. St. Vincent worked tirelessly to help those in need: the impoverished, the sick, the enslaved, the abandoned, the ignored. His motto was "God sees you." "Let us love God; but at the price of our hands and sweat of our face." Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!St. Vincent de Paul, Pray for Us! To Jesus through Mary! + Mikel Amigot | RosaryNetwork.com, New York • September 27, 2024, Today's Rosary on YouTube | Daily broadcast at 7:30 pm ET

The main goal of the Society of Saint Pius X is to preserve the Catholic Faith in its fullness and purity, to teach its truths, and to diffuse its virtues, especially through the Roman Catholic priesthood. Authentic spiritual life, the sacraments, and the traditional liturgy are its primary means of bringing this life of grace to souls. Although the traditional Latin Mass is the most visible and public expression of the work of the Society, we are committed to defending Catholic Tradition in its entirety: all of Catholic doctrine and morals as the Church has always defended them. What people need is the Catholic Faith, without compromise, with all the truth and beauty which accompanies it. https://sspx.org
