This POWERFUL episode with researcher, author and teacher Sarah Peyton had me taking notes and crying, because she explains what hurts us and what can heal us in the most validating scientific and soothing way possible. Unlike anyone else I have yet to meet, Sarah has gone deep into the research of our brains and how not only our early attachment wounds and non-verbal messages have impacted us, but also that "the brain is forever available for resonant support and accompaniment." In this episode we discuss the unconscious contracts we make with our parents to make ourselves bad instead of them, the socially normalized traumatized default mode network (that's the part of our brain that goes offline when we do psychedelics), how we can move unintegrated painful experiences into a different part of brain so we are no longer activated by present day similar experience, the dark insula, and how we can time travel using our imagination to reorganize and heal our brains. From November 4, 2021 to late January 2022, the planet of personal revolution and memory will be gracing our alignments. This is significant to: i) soul sparking; ii) reconnecting to our memories and our ability to feel safe; iii) major social and economic change. Possibly continued unrest. Forming the space of love within ourselves and our home spaces is an act of preservation as much as it is revolution. Be the change. A second noted point (of the many that there are and will be) is the journey of Venus and Pluto. On solstice we have the second of two Venus-Pluto conjunctions coming up. This is because we are experiencing a lot of physical changes with the shifting of the solar cycle (we feel the geomagnetics in our bodies) as well as the emotional healing (inspired by both the sun and the planets and our moments). It can feel very easy to get overwhelmed. Having a healthy body and giving our selves regular spaces for soul care helps.
