Show me Your Glory by Stevie Mckie
Psalm 33:4-5 For the word of the LORD holds true,and everything he does is worthy of our trust.He loves whatever is just and good,and his unfailing love fills the earth.Speaking of the last line ("and his unfailing love fills the earth"), FB Meyer wrote:"The Psalmist means that there is no spot in it where the traces and footprints of God's love may not be discerned, if only the eyes and the heart are opened."In this episode, I will meander through Psalm 33 and point out some of those traces and footprints. Doesn't it sound good to have our eyes and heart opened (and reopened) to the evidences of His unfailing love? It helps our faith to remember that everything He does is worthy of our trust. I will end with the song, “Your Glory,” which was written by Leslie Jordan and sung by myself and Gia Lucid. Psalm 26 portrays a man devoted to God, seeking His glory, not his own (v12), wholehearted in leading a blameless life (v1), trusting God without wavering (v1b), keeping himself pure, walking in the light, his heart open to examination (v2), walking in God's love & truth (v3), avoiding close company with evil doers (v4-5). God's House (the setting) is central to his life (v6-8,12). Only Christ perfectly fulfils this description, but we are righteous in Christ, and as we walk with Him, He changes us into His image. David does not boast in a self-righteous way, claiming he is sinless, for he knows his need for redemption & mercy (v11), and trusts in divine grace as His foundation (v3,12). It inspires us to embrace the ideal of faith covenant keeping, but achieving it is not a pre-condition for entering into worship. It's given for us to affirm & strengthen our love for God. Declaring we love righteousness & hate evil, even if we're not perfect, helps us identify with the good & reject the evil. Saying: “I love You, Lord” is not a claim of perfection, but strengthens our commitment to Him. He describes his inner life & outward deeds (integrity). He declared his innocence of accusations against him, affirming he walks with God & seeks to keep His laws: “VINDICATE (judge) me, O Lord” (v1a). His enemies (v4-5, 9-10) slandered him (especially at Absalom's rebellion). In response, he brought his case to God, asking Him to judge in his favor, according to 1Ki 8:31-32. He declared his innocence: “O Lord, for I have (1) WALKED in my integrity (devoted heart, loyal to God). I have also (2) TRUSTED in the Lord; I shall not slip (unwavering trust)” (1Ki 9:4-5). Note the parallelism: (1) his outward WALK from (2) his inner TRUST in God's grace, the root & sap of moral integrity. His holiness empowers our morality, overcoming our sin-nature. He is willing to be examined & corrected by God: “Examine (test) me, O Lord, and prove me; try (refine, as in metals) my mind ('kidneys', seat of emotions) and my heart (will, moral centre)” (v2). A mark of believers is coming to the light, inviting God to search our heart and show us what is right & wrong (John 3:19-21). If we don't want to be told we're wrong, we don't come to the light, but then we live in a lie and will pay the price. “For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes and I have walked in Your truth (faithfulness)” (v3). Again, we see faith & works in balance. By trusting in God's faithfulness, He walks in faithfulness to God, in the truth of His Word in doctrine & deed. He then describes another vital aspect of holy living, separation from evil people & their corrupting ways. We must choose our close friends carefully. “(1) I have not SAT (had close fellowship with) with idolatrous (worthless, those given to the pursuit of vanity) mortals, nor (2) will I go in with hypocrites (play-actors)” (v4). “(1) I have HATED (rejected) the assembly of evildoers, and (2) will not SIT (fellowship) with the wicked” (v5). He rejects their ways, works & company. He hated sin & loved God as seen in his WORSHIP: “I will wash my hands in innocence” (v6a). The priests washed their hands at the Laver before ministering at the Altar, so he prepares his heart to minister to God (Eph 5:26). “So, I will go about Your Altar O Lord” (v6b). True worship centres on Christ's Sacrifice, the basis of God's grace. “That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works” (v7). We give thanks for His works of salvation. “Lord, I have LOVED the habitation of Your House (where God dwells & His people assemble), and the Place where Your Glory (manifest Presence) dwells (‘the Place of the Tabernacle of Your Glory')” (v8). As we draw near to God, His Glory will be revealed to us. Contrast his loves with his hates (v5). We should also love His Church. Knowing God is the Judge, he prays: “Do not gather (‘take away') my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men” (v9). "Do not sweep me away with sinners into Your rubbish dump (Hell)." He describes these sinners: “in whose hands is a sinister scheme (plotting for gain at the expense of others), and whose right hand is full of bribes (corruption)” (v10). God will separate the righteous & wicked. Next, he declares his full commitment to God by His help: “But as for me, I will walk in my integrity” (v11a). This is loyalty to God, not self-righteousness, for he knows his need for mercy: “(1) REDEEM me and (2) be MERCIFUL (gracious) to me” (v11b). As he walks round the Altar, he knows he needs redemption by Christ's blood, and so asks God to redeem, forgive & empower him to please Him. Finally, he is assured his prayer has been granted: “My foot stands in an even place” (v12a). By trusting in Christ, he stands on level solid ground, so will not go to Hell. So, what is left, but to declare His praise: “in the great congregation I will bless the Lord” (v12b). Praising God in Church is a mark of a true believer.

SORTH THIRD MEHL, FIRST HOUSE, TI-TUKAS:ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD. BY THE GRACE OF THE TRUE GURU: You always preserve the honor of Your devotees, O Dear Lord; You have protected them from the very beginning of time. You protected Your servant Prahlaad, O Dear Lord, and annihilated Harnaakhash. The Gurmukhs place their faith in the Dear Lord, but the self-willed manmukhs are deluded by doubt. || 1 || O Dear Lord, this is Your Glory. You preserve the honor of Your devotees, O Lord Master; Your devotees seek Your Sanctuary. || Pause || The Messenger of Death cannot touch Your devotees; death cannot even approach them. The Name of the Lord alone abides in their minds; through the Naam, the Name of the Lord, they find liberation. Wealth and all the spiritual powers of the Siddhis fall at the feet of the Lord's devotees; they obtain peace and poise from the Guru. || 2 || The self-willed manmukhs have no faith; they are filled with greed and self-interest. They are not Gurmukh — they do not understand the Word of the Shabad in their hearts; they do not love the Naam, the Name of the Lord. Their masks of falsehood and hypocrisy shall fall off; the self-willed manmukhs speak with insipid words. || 3 || You are pervading through Your devotees, O Dear God; through Your devotees, You are known.All the people are enticed by Maya; they are Yours, Lord — You alone are the Architect of Destiny. Overcoming my egotism and quieting the desires within my mind, I have come to realize the Word of the Guru's Shabad. || 4 || God automatically does the work of those who love the Name of the Lord. By Guru's Grace, he ever dwells in their minds, and He resolves all their affairs. Whoever challenges them is destroyed; they have the Lord God as their Savior. || 5 || Without serving the True Guru, no one finds the Lord; the self-willed manmukhs die crying out in pain. They come and go, and find no place of rest; in pain and suffering, they perish. But one who becomes Gurmukh drinks in the Ambrosial Nectar, and is easily absorbed in the True Name. || 6 || Without serving the True Guru, one cannot escape reincarnation, even by performing numerous rituals. Those who read the Vedas, and argue and debate without the Lord, lose their honor. True is the True Guru, and True is the Word of His Bani; in the Guru's Sanctuary, one is saved. || 7 || Those whose minds are filled with the Lord are judged as true in the Court of the Lord; they are hailed as true in the True Court. Their praises echo throughout the ages, and no one can erase them. Nanak is forever a sacrifice to those who enshrine the Lord within their hearts. || 8 || 1 || ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ਘਰੁ ੧ ਤਿਤੁਕੀ ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਭਗਤਾ ਦੀ ਸਦਾ ਤੂ ਰਖਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਧੁਰਿ ਤੂ ਰਖਦਾ ਆਇਆ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਜਨ ਤੁਧੁ ਰਾਖਿ ਲਏ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਹਰਣਾਖਸੁ ਮਾਰਿ ਪਚਾਇਆ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾ ਨੋ ਪਰਤੀਤਿ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਏਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ ਭਗਤਾ ਕੀ ਪੈਜ ਰਖੁ ਤੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਭਗਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਭਗਤਾ ਨੋ ਜਮੁ ਜੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਾਕੈ ਕਾਲੁ ਨ ਨੇੜੈ ਜਾਈ ॥ ਕੇਵਲ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਨਾਮੇ ਹੀ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥ ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਸਭ ਭਗਤਾ ਚਰਣੀ ਲਾਗੀ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਈ ॥੨॥ਮਨਮੁਖਾ ਨੋ ਪਰਤੀਤਿ ਨ ਆਵੀ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲੋਭ ਸੁਆਉ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਸਬਦੁ ਨ ਭੇਦਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਨ ਲਾਗਾ ਭਾਉ ॥ ਕੂੜ ਕਪਟ ਪਾਜੁ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਸੀ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਫੀਕਾ ਅਲਾਉ ॥੩॥ ਭਗਤਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਹੂ ਤੂ ਜਾਤਾ ॥ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਹੈ ਤੇਰੀ ਤੂ ਏਕੋ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰਿ ਮਨਸਾ ਮਨਹਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਛਾਤਾ ॥੪॥ ਅਚਿੰਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਸਦਾ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਸਭਿ ਕਾਜ ਸਵਾਰਣਹਾਰਾ ॥ ਓਨਾ ਕੀ ਰੀਸ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਵਿਗੁਚੈ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹੈ ਰਖਵਾਰਾ ॥੫॥ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵੇ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਭਉਕਿ ਮੁਏ ਬਿਲਲਾਈ ॥ ਆਵਹਿ ਜਾਵਹਿ ਠਉਰ ਨ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਦੁਖ ਮਹਿ ਦੁਖਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਵੈ ਸਹਜੇ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੬॥ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵੇ ਜਨਮੁ ਨ ਛੋਡੈ ਜੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਕਰਮ ਕਰੈ ਅਧਿਕਾਈ ॥ ਵੇਦ ਪੜਹਿ ਤੈ ਵਾਦ ਵਖਾਣਹਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਪਤਿ ਗਵਾਈ ॥ ਸਚਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸਾਚੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਬਾਣੀ ਭਜਿ ਛੂਟਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੭॥ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਸੇ ਦਰਿ ਸਾਚੇ ਦਰਿ ਸਾਚੈ ਸਚਿਆਰਾ ॥ ਓਨਾ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਹੋਈ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਮੇਟਣਹਾਰਾ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਾ ॥੮॥੧||
Thursday, 14 November 2024 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Matthew 5:9 “Blessed – the pacificatory, For they – sons of God – they will be called” (CG). In the previous verse, Jesus referred to the pure of heart. Now He next says, “Blessed – the pacificatory.” The word is found only here in Scripture, eirénopoios. It is an adjective coming from two words meaning “to make peace.” No translations, even the most literal, however, properly use an adjective form in their translation. However, the word pacificatory is such an adjective. The word pacificatory signifies something that tends to promote peace or is conciliatory. It was first used in the late Middle Ages, somewhere around the late 1500s. It comes from the Latin word pācificātōrius. The words of Jesus are taken to unintended and unhealthy extremes by liberal churches. This is not speaking of battle or intensely correcting wrongdoing. Jesus has done or will do both. He vigorously rebuked those who mistreated God's word, He went into a tirade of sorts when He turned over the tables of the moneychangers and merchants in His Father's house. He will return again and destroy vast armies coming against Israel. This is not an all-out call for “peace, brother” like the hippies. It is exactly what the word means, to promote peace or make conciliation. Those who work to bring peace between God and man are the particular focus. There is a state of enmity between the two. Without that being restored through a right relationship with Him, there can be no peace. Under the Old Covenant, Malachi gives a marvelous example of this. After rebuking the priests for their unholy conduct in the presence of the Lord, he says – “He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And urge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.” Malachi 3:3 Only after there is proper mediation between God and man can the offerings of righteousness be brought before the Lord. Jesus has done this in its fullest sense through the New Covenant. Now, those who work to reconcile others through the word concerning Jesus are the truly pacificatory. They are the peacemakers that are bringing about the kingdom, one soul at a time. Of such, Jesus next says, “For they – sons of God – they will be called.” The term “sons of God” first goes back to Genesis 6 – “Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.” Genesis 6:1, 2 This is not referring to giants walking around with knurl brows and clubbed feet. It is a reference to the godly line of Seth which is then noted repeatedly through the rest of Scripture. It is those who live by faith in what God has done for His people. Job (Job 1:6 & 2:1) is called such a son. Those who expend themselves in making peace through reconciling men to God will, indeed, be called sons of God. Life application: The sons of God in Genesis 6 is one of the many highly abused descriptors in Scripture. The reason for this comes down to a single word, sensationalism. And that leads to another matter, popularity and prosperity. By mishandling the word of God through sensationalism, people are thought of as great teachers because they have an ear-tingling message. But there is nothing sensational about mishandling the word of God. Rather, we should pay attention to the surrounding context, understand the type and form of literature being presented, and then make our evaluations based on that. Such teachings are unpopular because they require hard work and diligent study, but they will show us the heart of God as we continue through the pages of Scripture. If you want to know more about the sons of God, two sermons in particular from the Superior Word should be viewed: Genesis 6:1-4 (The Nephilim) and Deuteronomy 14:1, 2 (Sons of the Lord God). Be sure to rightly handle the word of God, and also be sure to be pacificatory in your walk with the Lord. Tell others about the goodness of God in Christ Jesus. Lord God, may it be our desire and yearning to pursue You through Your word properly at all times. Help us to maintain context, and to evaluate carefully the things that we are looking into. May this be to Your Glory. Amen.

Thank YOU, LORD for YOUR GLORY!!
Today's devotional is about King Zedekiah's defiance against the Babylonians. Despite Jeremiah's warnings, Zedekiah resisted and rebelled. God's message through Jeremiah was clear: fighting Babylon was futile. Zedekiah witnessed the Chaldeans destroying Judah due to his disobedience. Scripture But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. Zechariah 7:11 Do you ever find yourself fighting against circumstances you can't control? King Zedekiah's story is a poignant example of stubborn resistance leading to destruction. After being appointed as king by Nebuchadnezzar, Zedekiah was determined to fight against the Babylonians, despite knowing the odds. He even sought Jeremiah's prayers for deliverance. However, the message from God through Jeremiah was not what Zedekiah wanted to hear. Jeremiah warned that resisting Babylon was futile and like grasping at air. How often do we ignore wise counsel because it doesn't align with our desires? Despite the clear warning, Zedekiah chose to persist in his rebellion. His stubbornness not only led to his personal downfall but also brought immense suffering upon Judah. Are there areas in your life where you are resisting necessary change? Jeremiah's faithfulness to deliver God's message, despite being beaten and imprisoned, is a testament to his courage and obedience. How do we respond when delivering or receiving difficult truths brings us discomfort or opposition? This story teaches us the importance of heeding God's guidance, even when it's hard to accept. REFLECTION Take time to identify areas in your life where you might be resisting God's guidance. Are you stubbornly holding onto plans or desires that are not in line with His will? Reflect on Zedekiah's story and the consequences of ignoring divine wisdom. Pray for the humility to listen and the courage to follow God's direction, even when it goes against your own plans. PRAYER “Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the Lord? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.” JEREMIAH 37:17 When Life deals me hard blows and I'm left on my knees grasping at air, like Jeremiah I will remember Your empowering words of wisdom found in the Bible. In the face of adversity I will not relent so that I can appease the itching ears of those wanting me to cower underneath the weight of their criticism. When these moments arise I will hold my head up and look up to the Heavens where my help comes from. I will not place my hope in man.. instead I will put my trust in the creator of Heaven and earth. Strengthen my stance, season my words, and let my life serve as a conduit for Your Glory. I will not back down from doing and saying what's right, even if it means I lose favor with others, because I'd rather have the Favor of God on and over my life than the temporary favor of man. In Jesus' Name, Amen.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support.

Glory- weightiness, splendor, magnificent, power, excellence, and wealth. It's literally God's nature, personality, and style manifest in our realm.
In Exodus 33, In Moses's conversation with God he gets the revelation that the presence of God is what sets them apart from all other people on the earth. Then Moses asks God, “Show me Your Glory?” Glory- weightiness, splendor, magnificent, power, excellence, and wealth

We Need To Check Ourselves (2) (audio) David Eells 1/14/24 Pray Alone With God David The Man-child is coming to chose the Bride and we need to be in love with the Lord. Did Jesus teach that we are to have a personal relationship prayer life with God? More than that He commanded it. Or did He call for prayer meetings? Mat 6:5 And when ye pray, ye shall not be as the hypocrites: for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee. Did Jesus also demonstrate this personal prayer life alone with God? Mat 14:23 And after he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain apart to pray: and when even was come, he was there alone. Mar 6:45-46 ASV And straightway he constrained his disciples to enter into the boat, and to go before him unto the other side to Bethsaida, while he himself sendeth the multitude away. 46 And after he had taken leave of them, he departed into the mountain to pray. Mat 26:36-40 ASV Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto his disciples, Sit ye here, while I go yonder and pray. 37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and sore troubled. 38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: abide ye here, and watch with me. 39 And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt. (So even when His life was threatened He sought God personally.) 40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Luk 6:12 ASV And it came to pass in these days, that he went out into the mountain to pray; and he continued all night in prayer to God. Others followed Jesus' command and example to have a personal prayer life to God. Act 10:9 Now on the morrow, as they were on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour: Act 10:30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago, until this hour, I was keeping the ninth hour of prayer in my house; and behold, a man stood before me in bright apparel, 31 and saith, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. Some are afraid their faith is never enough but it should be so; we should cast off this fear for He loves us and cares for us. Some had a bad relationship to a parent or spouse and see God in the same light and are not sure God loves them and wants to meet their every need as He said. An expectant bride should trust that her groom loves her enough to provide for her like it was with Esther. We must seek this personal relationship in prayer alone with God not just in a crowd trusting in their faith. “Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to God.” When Jesus ministered to others he said, “be it unto you according to your faith.” And “As you have believed so shall it be unto you.” Ask Him for the gift of faith to love Him and respect Him as our provider, our Jehovah Jireh. Cast out double mindedness and doubt demons. Father is asking us to seek this faith relationship with Him now before the return of the Lord to choose His bride. If you have this faithful relationship with him then adding your faith to others is of worth. Then if any two agree its powerful. Ask Him for this relationship and forgive everybody from the heart. If you only feel comfortable in a crowd or an eating meeting, then you need to seek this relationship to Him now. He got alone with God for 40 days and forgot about the food. My best talks with Father are when I am reading the Word or in the middle of the night alone when there are no responsibilities and all is quiet. Father has been telling me that many are too busy, even religiously busy, to spend time alone with the Lord so check your heart and seek repentance if so. What is the secret cause of the coming revival? Is it power? No that's a result of the revival. Is it timing? Thats part of it. The Man-child anointing will bring revival and it won't happen before. Is it “vain repetition” in prayer? Jesus said no. We are to believe we have received whenever we pray according to Mark 11:23-24. How many times have we heard that past great revivals were traced to some old ladies praying on their own and believing God. :0) I have watched pre-promoted church revivals come and go for 54 years and its always the same. A few people get healed and delivered or just saved in some churches who don't believe in the power today. This probably would have happened anyway but they still call it revival. But the people didn't seek deliverance of their sins from and by the Lord. They trusted they were in good standing because of their association with an a church, a preacher, or “what we believe”, etc. What is the foundation and preparation for the coming greatest revival? It is the condition so often repeated in scripture: “Repent and believe”. The churches are full of “just accept Jesus” converts who will miss this opportunity. Let's look at the cause and foundation for this coming revival. Exo 19:10-12, 10 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to-day and to-morrow, and let them wash their garments, (So will it start with the multitudes? No it will start with the anointed Man-child represented by Moses here. No one can prime it until then, as it was with Jesus, The Man-child. But we can prepare to receive it by personal relationship with the Lord and sanctification from our sins.) 11 ASV and be ready against the third day (Here is some timing, plus 40 days (as we shall see). We are at the morning of the third thousand year day from Jesus.); for the third day Jehovah will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. (He is coming in His Man-child reformers by Word and Spirit to begin revival and the timing is set.) 12 And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death: (To ascend the mountain of the Lord's presence represents death to self, I.e. repentance and sanctification. So it is with Paul who said “ye are come unto mount Zion” Heb 12:22, with the presence of the Lord at the top.) Exo 24:12-18 ASV And Jehovah said unto Moses (The Man-child, but it is true of all who want to come into his presence through death to self.), Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee the tables of stone, and the law and the commandment, which I have written, that thou mayest teach them. (Time alone with the Word prepared Moses to come to the people with the glory shining from his face.) 13 And Moses rose up, and Joshua his minister: and Moses went up into the mount of God. 14 And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: whosoever hath a cause, let him come near unto them. 15 And Moses went up into the mount, and the cloud covered the mount. 16 And the glory of Jehovah abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day (More timing plus 40 days. We are at the 7th thousand year day from the first Adam.) he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 And the appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire (Our God is a consuming fire; consuming the wood, hay and stubble of the old man.) on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. 18 And Moses entered into the midst of the cloud (Representing entering the glory of God), and went up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights. (Forty is the number of testing. Jesus, the Man-child, also got alone with God and was tested for forty days. Both got alone with God, heard Him, and then overcame the enemy, the flesh and the Devil. They both used fasting too in order to weaken the flesh. So why is food now days so involved with drawing near to God and seeking revival? Busyness, even religious busyness, or constant fellowship, robs this most important time of soul searching with God and prevents the revival in one's heart where it has to begin. I watched for years those who came to the Lord the same time as me and where are they? They spent no time with the two edged sword, one edge being for self.) Once again the foundation and cause of revival is repentance and sanctification. Didn't God tell Moses, Take your shoes off this is holy ground. He didn't want Moses separated from holiness. He had to stand holy/sanctified to be in God's presence. Luk 3:2-8 ASV in the high-priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3 And he came into all the region round about the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins; (And he preached this to God's people many of whom turned against Jesus because their repentance from sin was skin deep.) 4 as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make ye ready the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight. (Notice: The path from the Word of the Lord to your heart must be prepared by repentance.) 5 Every valley shall be filled (Meaning the humble will receive from the Lord), And every mountain and hill shall be brought low (The proud will hold to their sin and receive judgment instead of the revival of Christ in them just as the faction has.); And the crooked shall become straight, And the rough ways smooth; (Departing from crooked ways to follow the straight path without stumbling blocks of sin is necessary for the Lord to enter the heart.) 6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. (All types of men saw Him but not all men saw with the eyes of their heart.) 7 He said therefore to the multitudes that went out to be baptized of him, Ye offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? (The Pharisaical didn't believe repentance was for them because of religious pride just as we can have now.) 8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father (You may think, “But I follow David or Michael or Jesus”): for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 9 And even now the axe also lieth at the root of the trees (Have you not seen them cut off? And we thought some were holy.): every tree therefore that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (Fruit is proven through testing, which they failed.) Luk 3:21-22 ASV Now it came to pass, when all the people were baptized, that, Jesus also having been baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, (John tried to stop Jesus from receiving the baptism of repentance but Jesus said, “thus it behooves us to fulfill all righteousness.” Without true repentance 3 out of 4 fall away.) 22 and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form, as a dove, upon him, and a voice came out of heaven, Thou art my beloved Son: in thee I am well pleased. Is He please to dwell beside willful sin? Luk 4:1-21 ASV And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan (Where He received the baptism of repentance as a demonstration to us.), and was led in the Spirit in the wilderness 2 during forty days (Again timing + 40 days alone with God overcoming the devil as a type of the Man-child to come.), being tempted of the devil. And he did eat nothing in those days: and when they were completed, he hungered. (Fasting and prayer through alone time with God was the key to overcoming temptations that to us identifies sin that most don't even know are there.) 3 And the devil said unto him, If thou art the Son of God, command this stone that it become bread. (To us this would be the temptation to prove our power for self-glory to feed our flesh in the next verse.) 4 And Jesus answered unto him, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone. 5 And he led him up, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto him, To thee will I give all this authority, and the glory of them (Representing temptation to have the glory of men.): for it hath been delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7 If thou therefore wilt worship before me, it shall all be thine. (Temptation to gain disciples and authority over them for self-glory like the factious and ambitious always do. This is always bowing the knee to the devil.) 8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, It is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 9 And he led him to Jerusalem, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple (Temptation in a very visible place for self-glory.), and said unto him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: 10 for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to guard thee: 11 and, On their hands they shall bear thee up, Lest haply thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Temptation to test God's ability to save while being self-seeking.) 12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not make trial of the Lord thy God. As we can see, most of Jesus' temptations were about seeking the glory of men, which He of course did not do. But there are many who do. There is jealousy, competition, exclusiveness, putting on shows, disrespect, self-seeking, etc., such as those who fall into faction among leadership people or otherwise. Seeking self-glory is a common temptation for leadership and makes them unqualified for the Man-child status or any other leadership position. Joh 12:42-43 ASV Nevertheless even of the rulers many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43 for they loved the glory that is of men more than the glory that is of God. (Jesus said qualification is to reject the approval of men to confess Him before men.) Joh 5:41-44 ASV I receive not glory from men. 42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in yourselves. 43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. (And the wicked with their fear of rejection did receive the wicked testimony of men.) 44 How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and the glory that cometh from the only God ye seek not? Joh 7:18 ASV He that speaketh from himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory of him that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. (So did God send you to say that against all of God's commands or was it for your own glory?) Mat 6:1-4 ASV Take heed that ye do not your righteousness before men, to be seen of them: else ye have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. 2 When therefore thou doest alms, sound not a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee. Back to our text: 13 And when the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him for a season. (After overcoming selfish temptations by drawing near to God alone the revival began through Him as a type for the Man-child today.) 14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and a fame went out concerning him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and he entered, as his custom was, into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And he opened the book, and found the place where it was written, (After overcoming all temptations through fellowship with the Father He was anointed to bring the revival.) 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. 20 And he closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down: and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them, To-day hath this scripture been fulfilled in your ears. So I say that God warned me to tell you this because your time to be chosen to be in the Man-child and Bride body is very short. As we saw with Jesus, when the Man-child came He chose the Bride. Go into your spiritual 40 days, representing a time of testing, alone with God and ask Him to seek out your sin and reveal it to you so you may reject it as Job did and be cleansed with the pure glowing white robe of the Bride. And the Lord and Baruch gave an Amen to this revelation! We are told that there will be 10 days to 2 weeks of media darkness during martial law except to declass criminal activities in an 8 hour video playing over and over. This is mostly for those who listen to news on TV. The rest of us already know what is going on. I suggest you use this time to draw near to Father and ask Him to show you any sin. Then renounce and forsake them believing they were nailed to the cross as in Rom 6. Shortly after this time the Man-child reformers will begin to appear and the Bride will be chosen. God bless you my friends. The advantages of the Bride are tremendous. Beware Be Watchful, My Glory Debbie Fenske 1/8/24 It was on my heart to ask the Lord that in my time alone with Him this morning He would allow me to hear Him speak to me. Thank you, Father. "Beware of the subtle one. Beware of the pretender who will try to come to you with a voice as the sound of My voice. Beware. He will try to come in your thoughts. He will come with a still small voice. He will come in your flesh. And he will come to try and deceive you in this time. I say to beware. Be watchful unto yourselves. Beware and be careful to do everything that you have been told to do. This time is crucial, and your light will soon shine forth as the stars. Intense, and in great brightness will it shine forth from you; My glory in you, shining forth through you, bringing attention to Me, your Glory and the lifter of your head. So be lifted up, My people. You have been hearing that the time of My glory coming to be revealed in you is soon. I say, it is here. I am standing at the door ready to make My entrance. This is not the time to yield to temptation, lies, deceptions. Beware. For these will try to speak very loud to you, now, and in the days ahead of you. Much louder. So, as you have opportunity, hold one another up. Be strong for one another. I say to you, My Glory, beware, be watchful, be obedient and steadfast with a single eye on My glory ready to shine through you. What glory awaits! Keep your eyes on me. Nothing else. What glory awaits!" I asked Father if He would give me a couple scriptures about our seeking Him and waiting on Him in our times alone with Him, and, about us being His glory. The first place my finger landed in was Jeremiah 29:13 "You will seek Me and find Me when you will search for Me with all your heart." I landed on "for Me." Thank you for that, Lord, The next scripture came to me a little differently. But it was exciting for me how Father did this. I first landed in Isaiah 47:6, which is about God's anger with His people who profaned His inheritance. (When the Lord returns in His Man-child reformers he will judge these Edomite haters of their chosen brothers.) I was like, "No. no. this can't be it!" I turned my eyes to look directly across to the previous page which was chapter 46. (The opposite of them is the chosen.) How awesome! Isaiah 46:13 "I bring near My righteousness, it is not far off; and My salvation will not delay. And I will grant salvation (The meaning of Jesus is “Jah is Salvation” and where is He >) in Zion, and My glory for Israel." Glory to your name Lord! And I thought it very interesting how He spoke of His glory, "My Glory," in this word, because I almost didn't use it, thinking it may just be from myself. But then I heard, "Use it." Thank you, Lord! (He is the glory of the Lord and His people.) Yes Lord. We want to seek You, to search for You with all our hearts, and come into Your very likeness from glory to glory. We are to be Your glory on this earth, and by faith we are Your glory, Your glorious Bride. Thank You for helping us to give You not just our time, but that all our time with You will be with You and You alone. I thank You for Your great mercy and Your great grace towards each of us. Thank You that in Your sovereignty You desire us to show forth Your glory, to be Your glorious spotless Bride. Now help us to be obedient to You, to be to so watchful and aware of Satan's devices, his temptations to lure us away from our time alone with You. We can do all things through You, Jesus, Who strengthens us. We thank You that Your salvation and Your righteousness will not delay. Make us understand the urgency in what is required of us if we want to be in Your glorious Bride and be Your Glory as You shine through us on this earth doing the work You have called us to do, all for the glory of Your name. Thank You for Your grace given to all who are called to be in Your Bride, all over the world. Thank you, Father! Amen. Bike Usage, A Prayer Life Vision Anonymous 9/1/23 I had a vision of a standard BMX on the floor in a dank gloomy garage. There was clutter and items that had collected a large amount of dust. It was possible to make clear writing in the dust. (The bike ends up being a prayer life that is ignored and the consequences.) Then I saw a young man, he was in his room reading and doing tasks. He would then occasionally pick up a manual on bikes and say he liked a particular model. Then he placed it by his side and slept. (A bike represents balance and the manual the Bible represents the same thing.) Another day and not many changes. He grew old and rarely even considered looking at the bike manual anymore. (The Bible) He then got old, and declared to throw it all out, his time had gone for that. Then he never thought of it again, he was caught in his impending death. Then I saw a fit young man who had stories and excitement every moment. All he wanted to do was ride his bike. He shared it with everyone. He rode everyday everywhere. And he was constantly happy. He had accidents and was seriously hurt but never stopped riding his bike once he was healed. He never changed because of his age or his other life duties. His family then rode too and independently had a love for it their own way. He got old and couldn't ride but passionately wanted to and would encourage everyone to ride. He spoke and wrote books and submitted articles to enrich lives with the use of the bike. Then he donated it to young children all just before his death. He and his family all cherished the times together well spent. I then realized; this is our PRAYER LIFE. The bike is getting close to God. It's a means and relationship. You can do much more when you use the bike and go places doing more amazing things than it laying on the floor. You could read about a bike but not ever think about where it could take you. Praying is an adventure. It's real and when you keep doing it, it will get easier and more in tune with God. Then when you connect with God, that is all you want to do is bathe in His presence and talk with Him and talk about Him with others. He becomes your all, your desires, wants, He is your only need. I'm convinced, convicted and a flame kindled to go to the Lord and pray. Pray openly, pray about everything. Be Ye Separate David In the New Testament, “sanctification” is the Greek word hagiasmos and it means “separated from sin and consecrated unto God.” This sanctification has been given to us as a gift through Jesus Christ; it is also something that we attain to through faith in that gift. In other words, the Lord will fulfill it in us, if we go after it by faith. (Rom.5:1) Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; (2) through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. We believe the Lord has given us this sanctification and holiness because of His promises. God can't really bless an individual, nor can He bless a body of people, that's been polluted by the world. If we walk in repentance and faith, the Lord will account it to us as righteousness, but if we walk in rebellion and self-will, the Lord's chastening will be upon us. The Bride will have special protection and provision from the Lord. The Bride is not all the people of God, as much of the Church says. (Son.6:8) There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, And virgins without number. (9) My dove, my undefiled, is but one.… He was speaking about the Bride. There are many people of God whom God loves, but the Bride is a special place because the Bride represents Zion, as we know from Revelation 21. Zion, of course, was only a small part of the parable of God's people in the Old Testament. There was all of Israel and there was all of Judah, and then there was Zion. I'd like to briefly review a little about the protection that is afforded the Bride. In 2 Kings 18, we have the revelation of the end-time Beast's attack upon God's people. The Assyrian empire and the king of Assyria conquered all of Israel, and those whom they didn't kill, they carried away captive. (2Ki.18:9) And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it. (10) And at the end of three years they took it: in the sixth year of Hezekiah, which was the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken. (11) And the king of Assyria carried Israel away unto Assyria, and put them in Halah, and on the Habor, the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes, (12) because they obeyed not the voice of the Lord their God, but transgressed his covenant, even all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded, and would not hear it, nor do it. They conquered all of Judah next. (2Ki.18:13) Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fortified cities of Judah, and took them. (14) And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold. (15) And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the Lord, and in the treasures of the king's house. (16) At that time did Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the Lord, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria. But we find that God zealously protected Zion, or Jerusalem, because it represented something for our day. Assyria was the second of the seven heads of the last Beast (Revelation 12:3, 13:1, 17:3,9), which consists of Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medio-Persia, Greece, Rome and the revived Rome. Every one of those Beast kingdoms represents a revelation that is going to happen in the end time because today all seven heads are a part of this Beast. Assyria, as that second head, gives us the revelation of God's protection for His Bride, Jerusalem. (2Ki.19:30) And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward. (31) For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and out of mount Zion they that shall escape (This is talking about escape from the Beast kingdom that is conquering God's people.):the zeal of the Lord shall perform this. So the Lord is zealous, but why is He zealous over this particular part of His people and not the rest of His people? Why was He not zealous to protect and to destroy the Beast before it conquered all of Israel and Judah? It's because of what Zion represents: it represents the Bride. (Rev.21:9) And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were laden with the seven last plagues; and he spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the wife of the Lamb. (10) And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem (New Jerusalem), coming down out of heaven from God, (The Bride is manifestly born from above.) (11) having the glory of God: her light was like unto a stone most precious, as it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal: (12) having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: (13) on the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. (14) And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Amen! What is it about Jerusalem that represents something so holy and so perfect? Well, the wall of Jerusalem represents something. In the Song of Solomon, the bride, the Shulamite, which means “perfected one,” said (Son.8:10) I am a wall.... A wall represents sanctification; it represents separation from the world. Jerusalem was encompassed with this wall and it was a separation, a protection, from the Beast. And the bride also said of her immature little sister, (Son.8:9) If she be a wall, We will build upon her a turret (or “battlement”) of silver.... “If she be a wall” sounds strange. Why would the bride be a “wall”? And why would this be something to protect her little sister? It's because God will defend us, if we are sanctified, if we are separated. He will defend us, if our hedge is not let down for the enemy to come in and dwell in us, either individually or as a body of people. God defends the Bride and He will even defend the little sister before she comes to maturity, “if she be a wall.” (2Ki.19:32) Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come unto this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither shall he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it. (33) By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and he shall not come unto this city, saith the Lord. (34) For I will defend this city to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake. (35) And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the Lord went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred fourscore and five thousand (185,000 men): and when men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies. There is a place of safety in holiness and separation from the world, but there is none for those who walk in their own self-will and rebellion. Then, after Hezekiah became ill, he pleaded with God for his life, saying that he had served the Lord. (2Ki.20:1) In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thy house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. (2) Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying, (3) Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. (4) And it came to pass, before Isaiah was gone out into the middle part of the city, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, (5) Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the prince of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee; on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of Jehovah. (6) And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake. That's exactly what the rest of the Bible says about the regenerate daughter of Zion. God promises to defend them. When they walked in righteousness and purity, that wall represented separation and sanctification. (Pro.11:4) Riches profit not in the day of wrath; But righteousness delivereth from death. Again, the Greek word for “sanctification” is hagiasmos, which means “separation unto God”; in other words, “purification and separation from the world and from sin unto God.” The word for “saints,” hagios, is the root word for “sanctification.” “Saint” means “sanctified ones.” “Saints” are those people who are “separated from the world unto God” and all through the New Testament the Lord addresses the “saints,” the separated and sanctified ones. (Heb.12:14) Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord. We certainly want to see the Lord, don't we? We want to see Him after this life, but we also want to see Him in this life. (2Co.3:18) But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit. Without sanctification, we are not going to see the Lord. We won't see Him in the mirror, we won't come into His image and we won't ultimately see Him. However, even the little sister can be sanctified and separated from the world. Even the little sister can be running after the Lord with all of her heart. The Shulammite was seeking to bring her little sister into the presence of the king, Solomon, who represents our King. She was protecting and raising her up, just as the Bride will do in these days. And Paul says, (Heb.12:14) Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord: (15) looking carefully lest [there be] any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you,] and thereby the many be defiled. Many so-called “Christians” in these days are being defiled by roots of bitterness or by other people who have roots of bitterness. Those who are slanderers, gossipers, back-biters, these people are defiled. They are like Esau who sold his birthright through bitterness. You need to be careful to remain sanctified and separated from them, as we're commanded. (Tit.3:10) A factious man after a first and second admonition refuse. In other words, separate yourself from them. (Heb.12:16) Lest [there be] any fornicator.... “Fornicator” has a spiritual aspect here: this is someone who has relations with the world and not the Lord. Esau was ordained, as a son of Abraham, to have relations with the Lord, yet he was having relations with the world and receiving the seed of another kingdom. He was receiving this root of bitterness which was, of course, from the devil and not from God. (Heb.12:16) Lest [there be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one mess of meat sold his own birthright. Now I know “meat” here just means “food,” but it also brings to mind the thought of “flesh” because Esau followed, or “sought after,” the flesh. He found that “meat” was more important than his birthright, which was the inheritance he received because he was a child of Abraham. (Heb.12:17) For ye know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected.... There isn't going to be a blessing to those who refuse sanctification through the Word. There isn't going to be a blessing to those who choose to receive the seed of the world, instead of being separated from the world, its nature and its curse. Esau was “rejected.” He sold his birthright and forfeited the double-portion blessing of the first-born. There are people who are considered to be people of God, but who have been reprobated. They do not know the ways of peace and do not “follow after peace with all men,” as the Scripture says here. They have a root of bitterness and they spread their root of bitterness, so God has rejected them. (Heb.12:17) For ye know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected; for he found no place for a change of mind (which is basically the meaning of “repentance”) [in his father,] (“In his father” was added in by the translator, according to his own understanding, but it's not in the original.) though he sought it diligently with tears. In other words, Esau himself wanted deliverance from this curse, but he was defiled by a root of bitterness and, of course, his seed after him was defiled because the sins of the parents are passed on to the children of the third and fourth generation (Exodus 20:5, 34:7; Numbers 14:18; Deuteronomy 5:9). We know that Jesus came to break genetic curses that have been passed on, but Esau, even though he was a seed of Abraham, refused the inheritance that he had received through his father and traded it away just like Judas. Remember how Jacob, Esau's brother, was greatly blessed after he separated himself from Esau. The Lord gave Jacob so much fruit and such great abundance that it surprised Esau when, after many years, Jacob returned with his wives, children, herds and flocks (Genesis 32, 33). Bearing much fruit and receiving many blessings is a symbol of being sanctified and separated from that which is unholy, corrupt and bitter. It's a symbol of being separated from that which has been rejected as “accursed.” Jacob bore much fruit and received much blessing because he separated himself from those who were not sanctified. We find this pattern repeated all the way through the Bible. We are all sons of Abraham through faith and we receive our inheritance through faith, but God demands of us separation and we see many types and shadows of this in the Scriptures. There are actually two stages of separation: First, God separates His people from the world and then, second, He separates from His people those who are worldly. After Abraham was called out from Ur of the Chaldees, which was Babylon, Abraham was later separated from Lot and his family, who initially came with him out of Babylon. Lot unwisely chose to settle in Sodom, which obviously was not a place of sanctification or separation from the world, and that decision brought a great curse upon Lot and his family. So notice that God called Abraham to separate from the Babylonians and then Abraham was separated from those who were not living a life that was as holy as his. Another good type is when God separated His people, Israel, in the land of Egypt. He separated them from the Egyptians through the judgments that Moses, the Man-child, brought upon the Egyptians. Goshen represents that land where the Israelite was separated from the Egyptian. We know the first three judgments came upon both the Israelites and the Egyptians, but after God's people had once again received the fear of the Lord, then the rest of the judgments fell only upon the Egyptians. (Exo.8:23) And I will put a division between my people and thy people: by to-morrow shall this sign be. A different representation of that is the Israelites' crossing of the Red Sea, where God made a separation of His people from the Egyptians, a separation of the spiritual man from the carnal man. (Exo.14:21) And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. (22) And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. (23) And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. (28) And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, even all the host of Pharaoh that went in after them into the sea; there remained not so much as one of them. Apostle Paul used that parable to show that in the Red Sea there was a baptism unto death for the Egyptian, who represented the old man that had been keeping Israel in bondage. (Heb.11:29) By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were swallowed up. Folks, in these days God's people are once again in bondage to the old man. And, once again, the Lord is going to send deliverance by the hand of the Man-child in the form of judgments on Egypt. Those judgments are going to cause God's people to realize that they need to depart from Egypt and stop submitting to the old man, who has been keeping them in bondage. So God separated the Israelites from the Egyptians and brought them into the wilderness, but now He still had to separate the unbelievers from among them. You know, people like to think that only Egyptians are unbelievers, yet the unbelievers who complained in the wilderness were the unbelievers of His Own people. God could not bring Israel, even the faithful Israelites, into the Promised Land of blessing that was “flowing with milk and honey” (Deuteronomy 31:20; Numbers 14:8; Exodus 33:3; etc.) until all the unfaithful and unbelieving had died in the wilderness. The righteous people among the Israelites, whom Joshua and Caleb represented, had to endure a time of trial and tribulation so that these unbelieving, murmuring Israelites would be separated from them. The righteous didn't get to see the blessings they should have received until that happened because God wasn't going to bless the unrighteous among the righteous. Who entered into the Promised Land? Other than Joshua and Caleb, it wasn't those Israelites who left Egypt; it was their children who entered the land of milk and honey, the blessings, the provisions of God. Their old man shall die in the wilderness but their fruit will enter in. This is a process that God does in each and every one of us, too. We need to learn to come out from among the world and be separate because there is no place of blessing without sanctification. God wants us to separate ourselves from the “leaven” of wicked people. (Mat.16:12) Then understood they that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Even if they call themselves “Christians,” He wants to separate them from us so that we can receive the blessings. I once asked the Lord, “Why are there so many Judases and Jezebels rising up? You know they can't help themselves; it is demons in them that rise up and torment the Church, speak and rail against the people, argue about doctrine, take authority they don't have and all these things. Why is this happening?” And the Lord told me very plainly, “I'm doing you a favor.” I said, “How so, Lord?” The Lord answered, “Because you don't want all these people going into the wilderness with you, do you?” I replied, “No, I don't.” I do know that in the wilderness there will still be some of these people to try the people of God because when Jesus chose the 12, one of them was the “son of perdition,” Judas. Of course, Judas had a ministry, but there are many more than we evidently need, from what the Lord told me. He is certainly revealing and separating them from His people in these days. God's people also need to understand and cooperate with God in this process of separation because this wasn't a job for only Moses or just the elders of Israel. This was a job for all of Israel to do. We are going to see from the Scriptures that we need to separate ourselves from those who are “leaven” and are keeping us from being sanctified. Sanctification is needed individually and corporately. First of all, individually we are to (2Co.6:14) Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness? (15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever? (16) And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (17) Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you, (18) And will be to you a Father, And ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. And then, corporately, we are to be sanctified as the body of Christ. The Bride is so beautiful to God because it is a body of people who become separated from the rest of Israel because of their purity and holiness. By the way, the Greek word hagiasmos is translated as both “holiness” and “sanctification” in the New Testament. “Holiness” and “sanctification” both mean “separation from the world and from that which is impure, unto God.” When Israel went into the wilderness, they had already been separated from the Egyptians, which basically represents salvation. When you go through the Red Sea, the Egyptian is cut off; it is your water baptism. So these are people who are what we call today “saved”; however, they still weren't sanctified as a body. Yes, there were people among them who were sanctified and always walked in righteousness, but as a body, they weren't sanctified and couldn't come into the blessings of God. So God brought them through trials in the wilderness to prove them. He was going to show who was a part of the sanctified body and who it was who would refuse being sanctified and separated from the world. (Exo.32:1) And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods.... The word for “gods” there is Elohim and it's the same word that they used for the true God because what they really wanted was something visible that the flesh could follow. Our God is invisible for a reason. He doesn't want us making pictures or statues of Him to bow down to or follow. He wants us to know Him by the Spirit and not by the flesh; the flesh won't obey God. He wants us to walk by faith and faith is when you don't see, but you obey anyway. (Exo.32:1) And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him. Well, God delayed this in order to try them, to see if they would turn aside out of the way and that's just what they did. (Exo.32:2) And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden rings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. (3) And all the people brake off the golden rings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. (4) And he received it at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, and made it a molten calf: and they said, These are thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. Obviously, it was just a pile of gold. They had made a god after a fleshly image that impressed them, but had nothing to do with Elohim. (Exo.32:5) And when Aaron saw [this,] he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To-morrow shall be a feast to the Lord. (6) And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt-offerings, and brought peace-offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play. You know, there are many false gods that people proclaim to be the Lord God because they permit them to live in a way that pleases their flesh. (Exo.32:7) And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people (Notice they aren't God's people anymore.), that thou broughtest up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: (8) they have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed unto it, and said, These are thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. This molten calf was probably a replica of Apis, the calf god of Egypt. They knew of a god in Egypt and when Moses wasn't around to lead them, they quickly reverted back to their Egyptian god. (Exo.32:9) And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people (Not all of them were stiff-necked, but a majority of them were.): (10) now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. So we see that when they were all together as a body, God condemned them. There needed to be a separation of that which was good in their midst and God agreed to this a little further on. (Exo.32:11) And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, that thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? (12) Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, saying, For evil did he bring them forth, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath and repent of this evil against thy people. (13) Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it forever. (14) And the Lord repented of the evil which he said he would do unto his people. The Lord didn't consume them at that time, but He did lay down some conditions: (Exo.32:26) Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Whoso is on the Lord's side, [let him come] unto me. (This is interesting; evidently, there were some who were on the Lord's side during all of this. There were people who didn't believe the golden calf was God.) And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. The Levites represent something in the New Testament: (Exo.19:5) Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be mine own possession from among all peoples: for all the earth is mine: (6) and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. God's true people are a “holy” people, meaning “separated from the world and sanctified.” The Levites were separated to be God's own possession and in this situation the Levites were not in agreement with the rest of the body of Israelites about the golden calf. Moses said, (Exo.32:26) Whoso is on the Lord's side, [let him come] unto me. And all the sons of Levi (the holy nation, the priests of God) gathered themselves together unto him. (27) And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, Put ye every man his sword upon his thigh, and go to and fro from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor. (28) And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. What does this represent? It represents a sanctification of the people who had not fallen into this worship of a false god. Now we know in the New Testament that we are forbidden to use a physical sword against our enemies: (Mat.26:52) Then saith Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into its place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. But we do have a sword which we are commanded to use. Our sword is the Word of God. (Eph.6:13) Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. (14) Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, (15) and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; (16) withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil [one]. (17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. When you are in the midst of a body and some of those people are unholy, they are what is blocking you from receiving the blessing as a body because God cannot bless the body without also blessing these evil, wicked people. We just read that it was Moses and all the priests of God who were called to sanctify the body. And as a kingdom of priests of God, we're all called to use the sword of the Word to separate and sanctify the body. If someone who is called a “believer” comes unto you but is walking in willful sin, the Bible tells you what to do about it: (1Co.5:9) I wrote unto you in my epistle to have no company with fornicators; (10) not at all [meaning] with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world: (11) but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat. (12) For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within? (13) But them that are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves. You are to separate from them, (Eph.5:11) and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. In other words, you take your sword and you point out to this person that they are one of the people who is stopping the body from receiving the great blessings that God wants to pour out. God couldn't bless Israel while they were in Egypt; He had to separate them from that body. But then there was still something that was blocking them from receiving the great blessings from God in the wilderness and it was those unbelievers in their midst. Even though they were Israelites and they would today be called “Christians,” they were blocking the blessings from the body and something had to be done about it. Would you take the sword? The Bible says we are cursed if we don't use our sword. (Jer.48:10) Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord negligently; and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood. Would you sit on that sword? Or would you use it to correct the brother or sister who comes to you with slander, gossip, hatred or judgment against the body? Would you obey the Word and correct that person? (Mat.18:15) And if thy brother sin against thee, go, show him his fault between thee and him alone: if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. (16) But if he hear thee not, take with thee one or two more, that at the mouth of two witnesses or three every word may be established. (17) And if he refuse to hear them, tell it unto the church: and if he refuse to hear the church also, let him be unto thee as the Gentile and the publican. For instance, would you tell the brother who is assaulting the elders, “Look, it is forbidden for us to receive an accusation against an elder without witnesses”? Would you correct a brother or sister in your midst who is committing fornication and yet they are sitting right next to you in a church pew, being accepted by the rest of the body? Would you be the one with the sword and do what was necessary for the local body to be blessed? Is your allegiance to your friend or is your allegiance to God? Is it more important to build up the body to receive the blessings of God because it is holy or is it more important to keep the friendship you have with your friend? I believe most of Christianity would think, “That's not my job. That's the preacher's job.” No, that's not what we are seeing here and that's not what we see in the rest of the Scriptures, either. Let's read on. (Exo.32:28) And the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. (29) And Moses said, Consecrate yourselves to-day to the Lord, yea, every man against his son, and against his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day. There wasn't going to be a blessing until there was this separation and the sword was applied to these people who had caused the problem. (Exo.32:30) And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the Lord; peradventure I shall make atonement for your sin. (31) And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. (32) Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. (33) And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. He pardoned. He did not bring wrath upon the whole body because He wanted to bring wrath upon those who sinned. The trials that they were about to go through were going to reveal those murmurers and unbelievers among them, and through these trials, those people were put to death in the wilderness. So those who sinned against Him, those who worshipped the false god and polluted the body, these people bore their judgment. He said, “Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book,” and God is still doing this in the New Testament. (Rev.22:18) I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book: (19) and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book. (Rev.3:5) He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (Exo.32:34) And now go, lead the people unto [the place] of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine angel shall go before thee; nevertheless in the day when I visit, I will visit their sin upon them. Those people died in the wilderness because of their unbelief, their murmuring and their lack of sanctification. God was their provider that whole time, but they still rebelled against the Lord. (Exo.32:35) And the Lord smote the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made. The truly righteous people in their midst had to suffer for these other people because there had been no sanctification of the body. Think about the Joshuas and the Calebs, who were going through the wilderness with these people and suffering along with them. They actually deserved to go and walk into the Promised Land, yet they were suffering. There has to be a separation so that we can come into the great miracles, great revival and great blessings of provision that are just ahead of us for the people of God. Another trial that God used to separate between the righteous and rebellious Israelites was the Korah rebellion. If you remember, Korah took it upon himself to be a leader in Israel, even though that position wasn't given to him by God. Yet Moses was someone who never wanted the authority that the Lord gave him. (Exo.4:10) And Moses said unto the Lord, Oh, Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. (11) And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? Or who maketh [a man] dumb, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? (12) Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt speak. (13) And he said, Oh, Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. Moses considered himself to be inadequate and was trying to convince God to send someone else. So why did so many people follow Korah? I'm suspecting that Korah was a smooth, persuasive talker and maybe even good-looking. The people followed him, but think about all the miracles that God had done through Moses, who was slow of tongue, evidently not quick-witted and not eloquent. (Num.16:19) And Korah assembled all the congregation against them (Moses and Aaron) unto the door of the tent of meeting: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the congregation. (20) And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, (21) Separate yourselves (this represents sanctification) from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. The Lord didn't want to consume all of them; He wanted to consume those who were taking sides with Korah. (Num.16:22) And they (Moses and Aaron) fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? Obviously, the people had the choice of whom to follow, but while they were one body and in rebellion, the Lord was considering the whole body as perpetrators. (23) And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, (24) Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. In other words, separate yourselves from among these people so I can protect you, so I can bless you, so I can chasten them. (Num.16:25) And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him. (26) And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs (Be separate from all their thoughts and doings.), lest ye be consumed in all their sins. If you're touching something, you are not separated, are you? (27) So they gat them up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood at the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little ones. (28) And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for [I have] not [done them] of mine own mind. (29) If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me. (30) But if the Lord make a new thing, and the ground open its mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down alive into Sheol; then ye shall understand that these men have despised the Lord. (We have certainly seen the wicked going to hell while alive.) I've shared with you in the past that being swallowed alive by the earth represents being swallowed up by the flesh. (1Ti.5:6) But she that giveth herself to pleasure is dead while she liveth. We're not here to please the flesh or to be consumed by the flesh, yet people who are in rebellion against God will be delivered over to their flesh. They will be unable to overcome that flesh because of their rebellion. The Lord is saying to separate yourself from people who live after the lust of their flesh, so that you're not swallowed up by the curse that's upon them. It has to be important to us that God's body be holy and separate from these people because people in willful disobedience need to be judged. Of course, if they are repentant, if they are turning away from their sin, then we should encourage them. But if they are happy to sit in the midst of their sins and want to use doctrine to justify themselves, then they need to be separated. Paul said, (1Co.5:6) ... Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? (7) Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, even as ye are unleavened.... He commands us there to separate from these people so the whole body is not leavened or considered by God to be leavened. In whatever place you are, you always want that body to come into the blessing and provision of God. Walk In Heavenly Places By Faith (6) (audio) David Eells - 8/27/23 Our Enemies Are Made Tiny Marie Kelton 8/7/23 During the meeting I was dealing with anxiety. I then had an open vision of a big scorpion (fear) attacking my spirit man. I then saw the Lord Jesus and He was really big. The Lord picked up the scorpion and it was really small in His hand. The Lord crushed the scorpion. (The enemy always wants us to think he is bigger than he is. We need to remember the truth and how Jesus already destroyed our enemies at the cross, and He has given us authority to plunder his kingdom and take our promised land.) Luk 11:21-23 When the strong man fully armed guardeth his own court, his goods are in peace: 22 but when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him his whole armor wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. 23 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. (Scorpions will attempt to cause us to scatter, to run in fear, but we must fight and make war against them.) I had another open vision of me sitting next to the Lord in heaven; He was huge but I was huge also. (We need to see ourselves as seated in the heavens which is abiding in Christ. Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: 1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, my little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. And verses 17-18 Herein is love made perfect with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as he is, even so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath punishment; and he that feareth is not made perfect in love. The Lord then passed the scorpion from the vision above to me which was really tiny in my hand. I knew he wanted me to crush it. (Luk 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.) Php 4:13 I can do all things in him that strengtheneth me. Psa 18:34 He teacheth my hands to war; So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass. Psa 144:1 A Psalm of David. Blessed be Jehovah my rock, Who teacheth my hands to war, And my fingers to fight: Lost Keys – Found! Samuel Fire - 2022 I lost my car keys and I searched everywhere I could for them. I searched everywhere; including to stop the wash cycle in the washing machine, pull all the clothes out and I still couldn't find them. I then spoke to Tianna about it and she said to go and ask God where they are because He knows. So, I stopped, calmed down and prayed and not long after, I insisted that I heard birds say, “In the washing, in the washing”. But because I had already looked in the washing machine, I was confused. Being obedient, I went and looked there again, but this time I felt to look in the lint rubber guard and there they were, praise God! Always seek Him and He will help you and we can't do anything in our own strength. He Passed Out, Twice Tianna Fire 12/30/22 I went to the toilet, and I heard a loud thud, and I ran to the kitchen and Samuel had passed out and fallen face down on the tiles. I tried to speak with him but he was unresponsive for a while but then he was able to get up, but he had no knowledge of what had happened or why or where he was or what he was doing. He couldn't remember much long-term stuff, or short term and kept forgetting things around every 30 seconds. All day and for some of the next day he would ask the same basic questions repeatedly many times, such as, “Where are we, what age is our son, what year is it, why is he in pain?” He seemed to have forgotten so much and couldn't remember anything. A few days after his memory returned to normal, he still couldn't remember what happened and the day of him passing out. This was a big trial of my patience with being kind in having to answer the same questions repeatedly, over and over and over, every 30 seconds or so, and helping Samuel to do things. It was also a big trial with battling fear in giving into sight, because he wasn't remembering and was extremely confused and had physical pain in his head and throughout his entire body. Brethren prayed for us, and praise God after that I had an abundance of joy come over me and I was able to be joyful and thankful to our Father for this situation. And with God's grace, it was so very much easier to be patient and kind in having to answer the same questions over and over. I was able to laugh in a joyful loving way with God creating this situation, because I have prayed before for God to give me the gift of patience. After that grace of joy, God gave me faith to just continue doing the normal things we usually do, and it was easier to just ignore the physical symptoms. By Gods' grace, Jesus through Samuel even drove us to the shop, even though Samuel didn't know the directions, despite having driven there more times than we can count, and that it was only 3 streets away. He didn't even remember any of this day. By Gods' grace I didn't receive the enemies' thoughts or fear of Samuel fainting while driving or something going wrong. But I wanted to just believe that God was in control and that Jesus had healed Samuel and to continue our normal day that Samuel was healed at the cross and he could drive us to the shops. It was ALL God. The whole day Samuel was asking the same questions over and over about every 30 seconds, and the next day wasn't as bad, and his memory was a little better although he still didn't remember much and was asking the same questions. I ended up writing down the answers to all the questions he kept asking so he could just keep reading the whiteboard and get the answers. Around every 30 seconds to a minute, he would re-read the white board and have funny expressions because he was confused and shocked at the answers because he couldn't remember. For example, he couldn't remember that our son is around a year of age as he thought he was only a few months old. When he read our son is a year old, he would have a shock reaction and it was pretty funny. God is so awesome. The next day Samuel passed out again in the morning. Then in the afternoon he passed out again while he was in the other room praying upstairs. I heard the loud thump, and I ran over to him, and he was lying on his back on the ground. He had smashed his head on the drawers as they had been moved and parts of it broken and then fell on the ground. Samuel's eyes were open staring but not moving and I tried to speak with him, but he didn't respond for about 30 seconds. He then was able to respond but he was really confused as to where we were and why, and why I was there as he thought that “years” had gone by and we were living a completely different life; he had had a vision. Samuel was in a lot of physical pain and the brethren prayed for us and the physical pain left minutes after. He improved much quicker this time, and a little later, his memory returned that he had of the vision and the details of it started to come back. The following day his memory was almost back to normal apart from not remembering the first day when he fainted and he was physically better, praise our God! ALL GLORY TO OUR INCREDIBLE AND FAITHFUL FATHER! Thank You Lord that You are in control, and everything is for Your Glory and Praise! Demons Trying To Cause To Stumble Anonymous 5/29/23 I had been battling dizziness for about a week and I had it again just a while ago. So, I went to look up on the internet possible reasons why I could be dizzy. I then heard two demons speaking with each other and they were saying how they have been trying to get me to wonder, and question why I have this dizziness and to then look it up. I realized that when I begin to question “Why?” I am doubting God and giving into unbelief, which then gives them a legal right to afflict me more. When I search on-line, looking things up of possible causes, I am trusting man and the flesh, this also allows them to continue these attacks. I knew then if I just stand in faith, trusting God and knowing that He is in control of this, when I overcome questioning God, doubt, worry and giving into the lying symptoms, then it will all go away, and the devils can no longer afflict me. They can only afflict me when I give them a legal right. After getting this revelation, I had doubt that what I saw was real and my flesh still wanted me to look up what could be causing the dizziness. I paused thinking for a few moments on what I should do as my flesh really wanted to know why I could be dizzy, in physical carnal terms. Then God spoke to me so clearly and said, "Are you really going to still do that knowing it's fallen angels wanting you to do it?" I closed the tab and got off my phone. I want to stop wondering “why?” I'm having these symptoms and just rest, because God is in control. Eight Day Deliverance Donna Loftus Dear Michael, You said to send in testimonies that pertain to the angels or the Word of the Lord. Well, this is mine that came by word of the Lord. I did not get the e-mail about fasting for the 8 days. So, when I heard about it later, on the podcast, I was very disappointed and grieved but God used this to help motivate me into action. So, I did some fasting and drew near to God and he delivered me from overeating. I'm just not hungry like I used to be. I have lost some weight and I'm drawing much closer to the Lord. He also gave me a vision of a body of water and a cross submerged into water about 3/4 down. (Which I believe He was showing me the water of His word devouring the curse in my life.) Also, a word I got from the Lord was, “Stand, Guard and see the salvation of the King!” Hallelujah!! Father Confirms Spiritually and Physically Job Status Isaac Payne - 7/31/22 I wanted to share a testimony that happened to me that was quite miraculous. I'll start with the events that led up to this testimony. For some time now, I have been overburdened with my job. I say this not to complain, but with the hope of using the situation to glorify Father. However, my role and responsibility at work has dramatically increased and my compensation has not. Compensation is not something I really think about, Thank God! See, what John the Baptist said to the soldiers. Luk 3:14 And the soldiers asked him, saying, And we, what must we do? And he said unto them, Extort from no man by violence, neither accuse anyone wrongfully; and be content with your wages. Back to the responsibilities, there are different levels of engineering reaching up to a senior level engineer which is a level 5 role. I am at a level 2, but doing a level 3 & 4 job. This role requires supervising installation integrators, ordering parts, building the electrical schematics, designing the PLC code and Human machine interface, leading the project, collaborating with contractors and the client, and traveling to site to commission and implement the equipment to the customer and perform acceptance testing. Other projects of this type of scope will have about 15 people to help, but in these projects, it has been just me. Father placed me in this job right as Covid was hitting the United States. This job has been wonderful for me spiritually, especially while being on the road and experiencing my own personal wilderness and Father using this to put to death the old man. The last few months, I've been thinking that my time was done at this position. Traveling for extended periods of time are hard on a family. It is very hard to leave and say bye to the kids as they cry wanting me to stay home. Marianna and I have been praying that Father would reveal to me what I should do concerning my job. During that time, I had multiple dreams confirming to me that my time was done at this job, and I wasn't being hasty because I can say Father has given me the strength to endure during my tenure here at this company. I'll keep the dreams very brief and explain the summary. In one dream I was running a road race. I believe it was a 5K road race. There were other runners in the race, but for some reason I didn't see them. I was racing against myself, as I was my own competition. I was competing against my previous PR "Personal Record." I remember running as hard as I could, thinking that if I slowed down my old PR would beat me. I finished the race in first place. I was really surprised because I didn't expect first place, I just wanted a new PR. I then saw my mile split on a teleprompter and it was 1 mile in 4 minutes and 40 seconds. 144! My coach in the dream then contacted me, wanting to congratulate me and share the success with the rest of the team. To my surprise, my boss at work was my coach. Then I woke up. I had the previous dream months ago. I personally did not want to leave my job because I was still a bit ambitious. I wanted to finish the job I was the project lead of, and I wouldn't be done with that job until November. Marianna and I were still believing as we had prayed, and I was asking for another dream to really confirm. I was still hesitant to leave my job and wanted a little more confirmation. I then had another dream. In this dream, I was in a Men's Warehouse clothing store. (I actually commission sorters and conveyors systems in distribution warehouses.) There were lots of very nice clothing in this shop. Although, I only remember seeing black dress suits. I came into this shop wearing a blue tie and another tie but I'm not exactly sure the color of the second tie, maybe gold. I asked the tailor what my ties were worth and if I could trade them in. He told me that they were worth $5. There was a yellow tie behind the tailor that was for sale. I asked him how much for the yellow tie, he said $6. I traded my blue tie for the yellow tie. I also traded in the other tie as well, possibly for a pinkish colored tie. I'm not sure exactly about the second tie. Then I woke up. When I woke up, immediately the verse came to my mind. Mat 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29.) Take my yoke upon you, (the blue tie) and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30.) For my yoke is easy, and burden is light. I knew instantly that the blue tie was his heavenly yoke of grace which is why it was $5 and the yellow tie I was exchanging it for was caution and the yoke of man, hence worth $6. I have been knowing lately that this job has been interfering with my relationship with Father. After these dreams, I still had the same plan to continue finishing my project till November and then start to look for another job. I really wanted the accolades of being the lead and the stature of completing such a massive multi-million-dollar project on my resume. I was still pursuing my own goals within the company I work for. Weeks later, I was getting ready to travel to San Francisco to commission another sorter at a distribution warehouse. Marianna and the kids had still been asking me to quit my job for some time. I really wasn't looking forward to going to San Francisco to work and be so far from my family. The night before I was to travel to San Francisco, Marianna and I prayed and asked Father to give me a definitive dream, so I could just know when to quit my job. I don't have a backup plan and I have never left a job without having another job lined up. I woke early in the morning and did not have a dream, so I was headed to San Francisco to work. Marianna and the kids dropped me off at the airport around 5:45 am. I was waiting in line to check in my baggage. I was feeling very burdened about leaving my family and traveling for work. I know better than to trust my feelings as feeling and the soulish realm can be deceptive. It came to my mind the prayer David Eells prayed when his family had no food. "Lord fill our plates or fill our tummies." I just said a similar prayer. I said, "Lord either change my attitude, or get me out of this job immediately." I continued and gave my bags to the airport associates, went through TSA, and made it to my gate waiting to board the plane. I'm not going home now, or so I thought. It was about time to board my flight and I was group 1 boarding which means I would be the first group of passengers to board. As the hostess called for group 1 boarding, I had to use the restroom. I arrived back at boarding, and it was group 3 or 4, I'm assuming. I was in line, and it was almost my time to give my boarding ticket and board the plane. There was only one person in front of me. At this point, there were probably around 30 or more people who had already boarded the flight and another 30 or 40 behind me waiting to board. The hostess received a phone call. She told the other hostess to the let the guy in front me board the plane, but then stop boarding with me. I was the very next person to board; I was in the very front of the line. I waited in the front of the line for about 10 to 15 minutes. I asked the lady what had happened. She said, "The captain has told us to stop boarding." I expected such a vague reason, but still figured I'd ask. I thought the reason was probably an unhappy passenger causing a commotion. It then dawned on me that maybe Father is answering my original prayer I prayed at baggage check-in, "Lord change my attitude, or get me out of this job immediately." For some reason, I just spoke another prayer out of my mouth. I don't even think the prayer was me or my thoughts, it just happened. I said as I was waiting, "Father if this is you, make all those people who boarded the plane, exit the plane right now in Jesus name!" Right at that moment, I could hear shuffling back up the plane ramp and to my surprise people were exiting the plane. Where I was standing, you could not see the ramp as it descends and turns. People came walking around the corner from the plane returning to the gate. About 30 or 40 people walked down the ramp. I prayed the prayer, and it was in Father's hands, but it happened so fast it was still surprised and astonishing. At that point, the hostess grabbed the microphone and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, the flight has been canceled due to a mechanical failure, the Landing gear is defective, and we do not have the parts at the airport to correct the issue." If you would have looked at me, my jaw was probably dropping to the floor in amazement. I said to the hostess. "Can I grab my bags and just leave the airport and go back home?" She said, "Sure, go back to baggage check-in and they will grab the bags off the plane." I went back to baggage check-in and was waiting in line to receive my bags. I called Marianna and told her to come pick me up. Her and the kids were thrilled. As I was still waiting in line for my bags, I began to talk to a gentleman waiting in line with me. He also was on the same flight and was going to go back to his house. I shared this testimony with him, and he was astonished as well. He even said something along the lines, "God is trying to show you something." As we continued to talk, he told me that he is a job recruiter. He gave me his contact info and told me to call him. Again, my jaw was literally dropping. Marianna and the kids picked me back up and a few hours later, I put in my resignation. For the record, I'm not suggesting people just quit their jobs, but this is what Father was doing with me. I was certainly in a place of weakness, but a place where Father would give me a measure of His faith. Amen! I also wanted to state this. As I initially got home and laid back in bed, fear began to come over me. I was thinking to myself, just grab a plane tomorrow and fly back out there, you can put your two weeks' notice in on the road. Other thoughts of, “Isaac, you have bills and mortgage, what if you can't find a job and you and the family go homeless?” Many thoughts began to come to me, and try and reason with me. Even so much as to try to convince me that what had just happened really wasn't much of a miracle, maybe you're looking too deep into this and leading yourself away. However, I have the mind of Christ, and these are not my thoughts, and neither are they Christ's thoughts. I talked to Marianna and she said, "Isaac you can't go back, how much more obvious does it need to be to get you to listen to God." She went on to say, "Isaac, think of Jonah, if you go back, they will have to throw you off the plane to keep it from crashing, do you want to be swallowed up by a giant bird?" She was right, I had to get out of bed, and not let my mind be idle. I sat down and began to read the word, and just keep reading. Rom 10:17 So belief cometh from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. I knew I now needed to put my resignation in so I wouldn't be tempted to go backwards on faith. Heb 10:38 But my righteous one shall live by faith: and he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him. So, I put in my resignation. My boss had me call him immediately and he tried to convince me otherwise, less responsibilities, and such. His name is Muhammad, and he is Muslim, I told him the miracle that Father had done for me, I needed to acknowledge God in front of man. Mat 10:32-33 Everyone therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I confess before my Father who is in heaven. 33. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him also will I deny before my Father who is in heaven. I needed to act on this swiftly and did, thanks be to God! I realized while initially battling with this myself, how people in the bible, even those who physically were there and witnessed miracles that Jesus did, could over time quit believing and talk themselves out of it. I knew I had to stay in the Word, speak it over my life, think on it throughout the day, cast thoughts down. I have the mind of Christ! Hallelujah! Within a month after the miraculous departure from my previous job where I travelled excessively, I received three job offers. I had no income for the month and had many bills to pay. I was just walking out my faith because the Lord showed His strong hand at the airport. In all my professional career, I can tell you that I have never been so pursued by so many companies and, or job recruiters. It was at the point where I would just tell them on the phone I wasn't interested. It was awesome because the Lord gave me favor and it seemed more like, I was the one doing the interviewing of the companies; all glory to God as He pours His favor on his children! Concerning the three job offers, I didn't know which job to choose. I asked the Lord for a dream, and I received two dreams. In one dream, it showed my future at a food manufacturing company in which I would be in charge of three plants concerning Controls Automation. In the dream, I was taking a call in the middle of the night because they needed me to come back in to work all through the night, even though it was a day shift job. I was frustrated in the dream. In the other dream, another company that offered me a job was with a Japanese automotive manufacturer. In this dream I was looking at the equipment, but wasn't familiar with it, however I was not frustrated or pressured. I just needed to learn this foreign equipment. Within the week I was talking to a brother of mine in Christ named Justin. As I was talking to him, he was going to a kid's baseball game and randomly parked behind a Mitsubishi automobile. That was the name of the Japanese automotive manufacturer that offered me the job. He said, "Isaac, there aren't a lot of Mitsubishi cars that I have seen, but I think this is confirmation. That's when I knew to make my decision and go with Mitsubishi. Also, Mitsubishi came back with an offer that superseded what I was originally making by around 60%. The job recruiter told me that they have never offered this much before and had to present the wages to the president of the company for approval and sure enough he signed off and hired me as a top level engineer. I didn't know that there were levels of engineering in this role and never once did the company and I even discuss such matters. What is amazing about this is that I never even tried to bargain or counter about wages. I wasn't even thinking about money, I just wanted to be home with my family. I am still at Mitsubishi, and they have been so patient with me, offering all kinds of training to me as I get caught up with their equipment that I was not familiar with. What's cool is my boss is also a Christian and has shown a lot of favor towards me. He has told me many times, "I believe God sent you here." Thank you Father, you've done it all, literally everything! Learning To Walk In Your Faith David Eells Don't ever fear to make a bold statement of faith. You may think, “Well, is this God?” Don't worry about it. If it's to meet your need, if it's to overcome the curse, don't worry about it. I remember once when I called Sid and we were talking about what happened the time that my washing machine seal had gone out. Sand had gotten in it and ruined the seal. Sid had volunteered and said, “Oh, I have a friend who works on those things. I'll get him to come by there and get it.” So I said, “Okay.” So he came by and picked it up and took it off, and Sid called me back a few days later. He said, “Look, he fixed this and he fixed that, and it'll just cost you $70.” I said, “Fine. Bring it on over.” Well, I knew Sid was coming over the next day to drop off the washing machine and I only had $20. And so I prayed a prayer. I said, “Father, you said You supply my every need according to Your riches in glory and I thank You for it.” Then I stuck my finger out there and I pointed at the mailbox and said to Mary. “In the name of Jesus, $50 is coming in that mailbox today.” Do you know, I went out to that mailbox and there was $50 in that mailbox in a check, and there was a note. It read, “God wouldn't let me go to sleep. It's now after midnight and God wouldn't let me go to sleep until I sent you this check for $50.” And the funny thing was, I don't ever look at postdates, but I looked at the postdate on the check and the thing had been sent two weeks before this day, a full two weeks before this day when I stuck my finger out and pointed at the mailbox. That envelope had been hung up in the mail somewhere for two weeks, wandering around, and it didn't make it into that mailbox until the right time. But God wouldn't let this poor guy sleep until he went out there and wrote the check and stuck it in the mail, even though it wandered around in the mail. I don't know what the reason for it was, but it didn't come there until it was time for it to be there. God answers before we call (Isaiah 65:24). Do you realize that? God does not dwell in time but we do. Don't think it's too late because it's never too late for God. God has the answer coming when you speak it and I've seen the biggest miracles happen when a bold statement of faith is made. The devil is telling you all the time, “Nah, nah, nah, nah,” in your ear, saying, “Boy, you're going to look like a fool!” But God won't let you be put to shame. The Bible says that He won't let you be put to shame (Romans 9:33). Anybody who puts their trust in Him shall not be put to shame, the Lord says. (Rom.10:10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. You need to actually say it. That was an education for me because there have been other times when I just prayed over a leaking washing machine seal and God sealed it up. And there have been times when I've prayed over a carburetor and God fixed it. Then there have been times when I decided I would take that carburetor off and fix it, like one time with my daughter's car when an enemy put sugar in her gas tank. I took the carburetor off and I tore it down. And I'm not bad at working on carburetors. So I tore it down, checked it out, cleaned it up and put it back in, but it did the same thing. I took it back out. It wasn't easy to get out either, but I took it out and went back through it. I said, “Nothing's wrong with this car. I don't see a thing wrong this carburetor,” and I put it back in but it still did the same thing. Finally, the revelation came to me of, “The devil is messing with you; he's robbing your time.” And so I rebuked the devil off that carburetor. I commanded the devil to loose it. Do you know that there doesn't have to be something wrong with a piece of equipment? The Lord showed me that many times. There doesn't have to be anything wrong with a piece of equipment. The devil is real and he can manifest himself in this realm and he can take advantage of you. Until you take the Word of God and fight him, he can take advantage of you. He was doing that to me. He robbed my time twice to fix that carburetor. And you know what? Just because you don't see something manifest immediately doesn't mean it hasn't happened. The Bible says, “all things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them” (Mar.11:24). So I commanded that carburetor to be healed in the name of Jesus. Then Deborah went and got in the car, but when she cranked it up, it was doing the same thing. I said, “Just go; it's healed.” She said before she got to the end of the street, it straightened right out and I never had another problem with it. You know, sometimes you have to walk it. If you believe it, you confess it, walk it. It's like the 10 lepers who were doing according to the Law (Luke 17:12). They had to go show themselves to the priest healed (Leviticus 14). But when they were walking they weren't healed. It didn't come until they walked it out that they got healed (Luke 17:14). So you have to walk it out. Faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Just remember that. Some of Jesus' miracles didn't happen immediately. And He didn't even pray twice. We are disciples of Jesus now. We can't see Him, but we're walking with Him and He wants to take us by the hand and show us the way through every problem and situation we come to because it's already been provided for. It says in Scripture, my God shall supply every need of yours…. (Php.4:19). It doesn't matter what the need is. Why did Paul say that? He said that because he knew it was taken care of at the cross. The curse was put upon Jesus. You can't imagine what this world would be like if there was no curse. Can you imagine what it was like in the Garden of Eden with tomato plants growing 20 feet tall, everything working, nothing breaking, including you, without the curse? Now I realize nobody is totally entered into whatever this means about being delivered from the curse, but individually God's people are entering into different parts of it. The body needs one another because sometimes other people have faith that we don't have in a situation that we're in and we need to pray for people and exercise our faith over one another. But don't think it's not possible. We're going to see God do things in the next few years that we would have considered impossible, that we would have just wondered, “Is that real?” Yes, God's going to do things we haven't seen. This outpouring of the Holy Spirit, this outpouring of power has never been on this earth that God's getting ready to do. People are going to walk on water again. They've done it in these days, in these years. I don't know if any of you ever read Like a Mighty Wind or Gentle Breeze of Jesus. They are about the Indonesian revival where many times, many people saw people walk on water. Those little islands out there where they were trying to get the Gospel to, in some cases it was the only method. It was necessary and they didn't let the circumstance stop them from doing the Will of God. The Will of God was to go and so they went. They did not let the circumstance get in the way. They walked on the water and there were a lot of people who saw it. Yes, the day is coming when you may have to drive a car that doesn't have any gas in it. I've done it quite a few times and it works. When you're going by faith, it works. Or you may have to command some gas into that car and God put some in it. He's done that for me, too. Listen, circumstances can't stop you. Circumstances didn't stop Jesus from doing the Will of God. Did you notice that? It's the same Jesus Whom we have that your “faith may become effectual, in the knowledge of every good thing which is in you” (Phm.6). Wait a minute! He was talking to the saints, people on this earth. That's right. But that's Jesus Christ in the heart of the believer. He has all the power that He ever had. But if you limit Him, you won't let Him speak that word out of your mouth, you won't walk that walk with your feet, you won't do those things. This is not the most important thing in the world that I'm talking about. The most important thing, of course, is to overcome sin, and we've studied on that in other teachings but right now we're talking about not limiting God and seeing just how big He is. It doesn't matter what your need is. God has promised to meet your need. Do I say you won't be tried? Absolutely not. You're going to be tried. How do you get tried? By lack. You get tried by lack. God suffered the Israelites to lack so that He might know what they would do (Deuteronomy 8:2,3). What are you going to do when you lack? Do you never get sick? No, you get sick sometimes, but the Bible says by His stripes you were healed (1 Peter 2:24). It's a trial of your faith. God's wanting to see, “What are you going to do with this?” We are being tried. We are going through the wilderness just like the Israelites went through the wilderness. When they went through the wilderness, they suffered lack in this kind of a way and then in that kind of a way and then in this kind of way, and God answered miraculously. Right now, the righteous, just like always, shall live from faith (Galatians 3:11). The life of faith is an exciting walk with the Lord. You'll see many miracles, if you walk the walk of faith. That's our purpose for being here. God considers a person who walks by faith and speaks faith and uses faith in the circumstances they get in, to be righteous. He calls them “righteous,” like Abraham when he believed God about his seed. That didn't have anything to do with salvation. God called Abraham righteous because he believed God in that point and, you know what? God calls you righteous every time you believe the Word of God. Every time you believe in the prayers that you've prayed, whenever you pray believing you have received (Mark 11:24), when you keep on holding onto that in faith until you see it manifested, then God calls you righteous. Look at it as if Jesus is taking you by the hand. He's going to show you something tomorrow. He is going to do a miracle through you tomorrow. Big or small, He's going to show you how to walk by faith. Jesus walked by faith. His disciples walked by faith. People who are in the world are under bondage, but people who walk by faith are not under that bondage. When Jesus sent out His disciples, He told them “Don't take anything with you, don't take any money” (Matthew 10:9,10; Luke 10:4). He sent them out in total weakness and later He asked them, “Well, when I sent you out without all these things did you lack anything?” and their answer was, “No, Lord” (Luke 22:35). They found out what it was to walk by faith. They didn't need to bring their own supply because God was there. He did it on purpose. Now in this day, the church is supposed to be doing the same thing. If you obey what Jesus said, you'll be weak, because Jesus made some statements in there that put you in a position of weakness; but every time you're going to see miracles. When you obey the principles of Jesus, you're going to see miracles because you're always in a position where you can't do it, you can't handle it. He does that on purpose. (Mat.14:25) And in the fourth watch of the night he came unto them, walking upon the sea. (26) And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out for fear. (27) But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. (28) And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee upon the waters. (29) And he said, Come. And Peter went down from the boat, and walked upon the waters to come to Jesus. (30) But when he saw the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me. That's the word sozo right there. By grace have you been saved through faith (Ephesians 2:8). (31) And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and took hold of him, and saith unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? (32) And when they were gone up into the boat, the wind ceased. (33) And they that were in the boat worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. You know, the Lord saved Peter here even in his failure, didn't He? Every trial is from God. Every trial. God is sovereign. (Joh.3:27) … A man can receive nothing, except it have been given him from heaven. The circumstances you get in are not by accident. There's no such thing as an accident or luck. That's for the pagans to believe in. When Peter took his eyes off Jesus and saw the wind, then he judged by the circumstance instead of judging by the Word. If he would have judged by the Word, when the almighty God said, “Come,” then Peter must have been able to do it, since He said it. That's the way we have to look at these promises. We must be able to do it because He said it. It's really simple. Peter believed if Jesus said it, he'd be able to do it and he stepped out of the boat, but then he got his eyes on the circumstances. You always get fearful when you get your eyes on the circumstance because you don't have any hope. Get your eyes on the Savior. You can walk on water when you get your eyes on the Savior. Listen, the laws of faith are totally above the laws of nature; they're always above the laws of nature. We just can't fathom how God could do some of these things. We can't fathom how the lot can come up like it does. Can you think about flipping a quarter up in the air and it coming down exactly the way God wants it to come down? The lot worked. Go back and study it. The lot worked. Why? That wasn't gambling because they believed in a sovereign God. I don't suggest leading your life this way but for confirmations of what you believe God is saying to you. That might have been gambling to some people, but it wasn't to the Israelites. They believed in the sovereignty of God and they believed God would answer that way and He did. He did consistently, even to the extent of finding one man out of all Israel and that happened quite a few times. Saul was picked out that way (1 Samuel 10:21). Saul's son was picked out that way when he made a mistake with eating the honey (1 Samuel 14:32). Jonathan was picked out of all Israel. You know they took the lot by the tribe, then they went to the lot by the family, then they went to the lot by the house. They cast lots several times. But you know what? If you believe in luck, what are the chances of the thing coming out to pick one guy out of all Israel? That's phenomenal. That's a lot of numbers. But God is sovereign. Well, it can be done in our day, like I said, with a quarter. I don't recommend that people lead their life that way, but I have seen mighty miracles come to pass that way, where the answer had to be from God. But I'm just pointing out that there's no such thing as luck. The world believes in luck and chance, but everything that comes to you is by the hand of God, even if it comes through the hand of the devil. If you remember from reading in the book of Job, there was no luck involved in that. God was sovereign, even over the devil, and He's still sovereign, even over the devil. God sends the devil against you so you can ‘whip him real good.' Did you know that? God will send him against you so you can whip him, so that you learn how to walk by faith and not by sight. The devil is the one who, in most cases, administers the curse. Who sent the curse? The Bible says that God sent the curse (Deuteronomy 28). I don't care what men say; the Bible says God sent the curse. Who administers it? The devil does. He loves to do it. It's his nature to do it. But, I'll tell you, God sent the curse and God sent Jesus to deliver from the curse. He's working from both sides. God sent the curse to cause people to repent and turn to Him. He sent Jesus to those who will repent. And in the circumstances that we get ourselves into, God wants to show us how to give the devil a bloody nose. He wants to show us how to overcome in the circumstances, just like Jesus did. Jesus wants to move through His hand. (Isa.53:10) … The pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. That means God is going to be successful in doing what He did through Jesus, through you. That's what it means. God is going to do that. We should consider it done. He did this for Peter, but what was the whole point? You may think there has to be some real reason for this, that you had to be saving souls or something. No. It didn't do anything for Peter to get out of the boat, except he learned a lesson. We should ask God to bring us these lessons. It's really valuable to have these lessons that we can look back on and tell to other people to encourage them in the faith and so on. God wants to do miracles through us. Right now we have a short time left for learning some lessons from God. We have a short time left for this and then great trouble is going to come, greater trouble than this land has ever seen. And people who walk in Psalm 91-type faith and who understand about the curse, those are the people who are going to be saved through the midst of this great trouble. A lot of the people are not going to be saved. A lot of Christians, the majority, are going to die through this trouble because the people coming against this land don't like Christians. Let's look at the story of the Gerasene demoniac. (Luk.8:36) And they that saw it told them how he that was possessed with demons was made whole. And the word there for “made whole” is the same as “saved”, in Greek: sozo. For Christians, we have been “made whole” from demons. It's part of sozo. It's by grace. It's not by grace if you will be. It says by grace you have been saved through faith (Ephesians 2:8). So it's not a matter of, “Let's see if we can convince God to deliver this person.” Jesus never tried to convince God to heal or to deliver anybody. By grace have you been Saved, healed, and delivered. It's all past tense. Everything's past tense. Now there are some places where the people whom we want to deliver are not in covenant with God. And it's strange but most of the church does not even believe that Christians can have demons. I'm going to show you that's not true from the Scriptures. I'm going to show you that it's a lie and anybody who has discerning of spirits knows that it's a lie. I can truthfully tell you almost all the people that I've ever cast demons out of were Christians. Jesus said it's the children's bread to have deliverance. When I'm talking discernment of spirits, I'm talking about the Biblical gift and that is when you see the demons. You see them manifested in their face, you see them manifested in their eyes, you see them in their body. The gift is manifested in different ways, but the discerning of spirits is to be able to see those demons. Word of knowledge can also give the identity of a demon. Anybody who has that gift doesn't buy that garbage about Christians not having demons. And I'll tell you what the Lord showed me about it. Those who don't believe that Christians can have demons quote “My spirit will not dwell in an unclean temple,” but there's no verse like that in the Bible. It's not there. What the Bible actually says is that the flesh is an unclean temple (Galatians 5:19). Did you know that? It's an enemy. It's at enmity with your spirit. It is the enemy of your spirit (Galatians 5:17). The covering over the tent of the tabernacle in the wilderness was animal skins and guess what kind of animal skins they were? Goats. Who were the goats? The goats were those who were set on the left while the lambs, the sheep, were on the right. Well, that was goats' hair covering it. Why? Because the flesh is the enemy of God. The flesh can't go to Heaven. Flesh never goes to Heaven. (1Co.15:50)… Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God…. You either get a new body or you don't go. You either go in spirit and in soul, or you don't go because this body doesn't go there. You get a new one. The flesh is the enemy of God. God showed me this years ago. I had to have a theological reason because I was casting demons out of Christians and everybody said you can't do that. So I went to God and said, “God, show me in the Scriptures.” And God brought me back to the tabernacle in the wilderness and He showed me, as I read about the tabernacle in the wilderness, how it represents us because we are the tabernacle in the wilderness. The holy of holies, of course, is your spirit because that's where God dwells. He dwells in your spirit. And then there's the holy place representing your soul. And there's the outer court which represents your flesh. What God showed to me I've never forgotten because I learned what the Christians told me was the difference between oppression and possession. They say that oppression is when the devil's on the outside and possession is when he's on the inside, but the Lord showed me that's not true. When we look at the outer court in the wilderness, we see that many wicked men went into the outer court. In fact, wicked men even came near unto the holy place and some were even killed in the holy place because they went in. But no wickedness ever entered into the holy of holies because the high priest had to be in good shape with God or he'd better not go into the holy of holies. They even tied a rope onto the foot of the high priest so if he went in there and he wasn't walking in right covenant with God, they could drag out his body. They weren't going in after the high priest because you'd be smitten dead if you didn't walk in right covenant with God. The tabernacle in the wilderness represented a Christian because God Almighty dwells in the holy of holies. We have examples in the Scriptures of wickedness coming into both the outer court and the holy place, but not into the holy of holies. God was showing me that in your holy of holies dwells the Spirit of God and only Jesus, Who is the High Priest, can go in there. By the way, ministers don't have a right to get into your holy of holies. They have to stay without. The One Who is the head of your being is the Lord, always the Lord. If a minister becomes your head, you become a disciple of him and you, in a way, put him in your holy of holies. That's dangerous for him and you because then he's between you and God. Remember from our example that wickedness did enter into both the outer court and the holy place. Now here's what the Lord showed me about oppression and possession. Did you know that God seeks to possess you? He just comes from a different direction, that's all. He comes from your spirit seeking to possess your soul. Your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. That's your walk. But the demons come in through the flesh and they also seek to possess your soul. They want to come into the holy place. They want to rule in the holy place because that's the control over your actions, that's the control over your thinking, that's the control over your life. They want to control your life. But the fallacy of the view that the worldly church gives us is that oppression is without, possession is within. However, the demons can dwell in your flesh and as long as they're just in the flesh but not in the holy place, not in the soul, they're still in, they're just not in possession. Possession is when they reach into your soul. If you watch people who are demon-possessed, you'll see this happen. One moment they'll be totally normal but don't think the demon left. He hasn't left; he's still there. I've had this experience with Christians. Everybody who is led by the flesh is not led by the Holy Spirit and there can be Spirit-filled Christians who are led by the flesh. The flesh is made in the image of the devil and you're manifesting a son of the devil, if you walk after the flesh. But here's the point. If you walk after the flesh, you're opening yourself up to let the devil in. You are the one who either permits or forbids. (Mat.16:19) I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Those demons can come into your flesh. If you give in to some sin, but what they want to do is reach into your soul. Your soul is your nature; it is the controlling factor of your natural life. When the demons reach into a person's soul, that's when everybody says that a person is possessed. But, you know what? They can back out of the soul into the flesh and the person will be relatively normal. Then they'll come in again; they'll manifest and they'll back out. We've seen people who look totally normal. Then, all of a sudden, when you're right in the middle of preaching the Gospel, demons manifest in these people and they start crying out. Why? Were they there all the time? Yes, they were there all the time. Did they leave the person? They never ever left the person; they were there all the time. So you can be oppressed as long as the demon is in the flesh, but when he reaches into your soul, then that is possession. Who has a right to have demons cast out? Well, let me give you a few examples. First of all, what we have in the New Testament is Jesus dealing with His Covenant people, which was Israel. That was the type and shadow of what God does today. Jesus was dealing with Covenant people. He even said, “I was not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Mat.15:24). Who was He dealing with when He cast out demons? It was the lost sheep of the house of Israel. When the pagans came, such as in the instance of the Syro-phoenician woman, then Jesus said, “it is not meet to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs” (Mat.15:26). Well, what was He talking about? He was saying that the lost have no right to God's provision. The biggest proof to me is my experience. The only time God ever let me cast demons out of a lost person I had to get permission to do it. You have to have permission to do it because you can destroy someone by casting demons out of them. The Bible even says they'll come back with seven worse. (Luk.11:26) Then goeth he, and taketh [to him] seven other spirits more evil than himself; and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man becometh worse than the first. So casting demons out of a lost person is not good business unless you have God's permission, since they have no right to God's provision. God's provision of deliverance and healing and other blessing is for Covenant people. We are Covenant people; they are not. They have no right to it. Don't try to give God's pearls to the swine (Matthew 7:6); they have no right to it. I'm going to prove it to you now from Scripture. (Mar.7:25) But straightway a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet. (26) Now the woman was a Greek, a Syro-phoenician by race. And she besought him that he would cast forth the demon out of her daughter. (27) And he said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs. He's calling casting out demons “the children's bread.” It's not for the world. No, it's only for the children. Now not only did this woman's daughter have a demon, she also had a spirit of infirmity. We know this from the same story in Matthew. (Mat.15:28) … And her daughter was healed from that hour. So her daughter was healed at the same time that Jesus cast out the demon. The children's bread is deliverance from demons and healing in the body and all these things. Why? Jesus said that His Body is our bread. Were there any demons in Jesus' body? Was there any sickness in Jesus' body? The reconciliation was that He gave His body for your body. See, we have a right to have a holy, delivered body. We have this right. The world does not have this right. (Mar.7:26) … And she besought him that he would cast forth the demon out of her daughter. (27) And he said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs. (28) But she answered and saith unto him, Yea, Lord; even the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. (29) And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the demon is gone out of thy daughter. (30) And she went away unto her house, and found the child laid upon the bed, and the demon gone out. And in Matthew, it says she was healed. So we can see as a revelation from this example by Jesus, that someone who is a Jew according to the flesh is not necessarily a Jew according to this New Covenant. Jews in this New Covenant are those who walk in the faith of Abraham. You can't recognize the Jew according to the flesh anymore; it's whether they are a believer or not. It's according to your faith or your unbelief as to whether you're grafted in or broken off (Romans 11) -totally according to your faith. If you have faith, you're a child. You have a right to the children's bread. The world has no right to the children's bread because they are not in covenant with God. Our part of the Covenant is faith. God's part is supply. We enter into it by faith and God enters into it with supply. It's kind of a lopsided covenant, but that's the way He designed it. We got a good deal and that's why it's called the Good News. I'll show you a few more verses so we can see if this is the Covenant people or the world who's getting healed or delivered here. Now remember what Jesus believed. He showed you His doctrine, that He didn't come to the lost people, He came to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matthew 15:24). Why did He call them the “lost sheep of the house of Israel”? He called them that because, like sheep, Israel had gone astray. He wasn't talking about the world there. And just like sheep, Israel in this day has gone astray, too. The Lord told me one time, “I sent you to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” He wasn't talking about physical Israel, He was talking about spiritual Israel, the lost sheep, because they are lambs who have lost their way. The Way is the Word. In fact, in the book of Acts, they called it the Way (Acts 9:2; 19:9,23; 22:4; 24:14,22). It is a Way. We're supposed to be walking in the Way. And that doesn't mean in the way of God, it means in the Way of God. (Mat.8:16) And when even was come, they brought unto him many possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with a word (Matthew is talking about the children here), and healed all that were sick: (Mat.8:17) that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our diseases. He didn't say “the world's infirmities”; he said “our infirmities, and bare our diseases.” Who has a right to deliverance from demons and who has a right to healing? We do. They do not. In fact, you don't have a right to give it to them, except by the permission of God. I have asked God and received permission to cast a demon out of a lost person. We did that recently in this house. God does give permission, but He doesn't have to. Here's the difference: God has to give deliverance to somebody who's in covenant because the Bible says it and He'd be a liar if He didn't. He has to give all the promises of God. The Bible says all the promises of God are “Yes.” (2Co.1:20) For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us. So I don't care when others say, sometimes God says “No,” but if it's concerning a promise, He says “Yes.” There is no promise in the Bible for deliverance for the world from a demon, even though we can ask God and He might give permission especially when they are affecting your life or another Christians life. That's totally mercy. But we have a guaranteed right of deliverance, we who are in covenant with God; we have a guaranteed right. The Bible says by His stripes you were healed (1 Peter 2:24). It's not even a matter of convincing God; it's an accomplished fact on the cross. It's not as though God is going to change His mind. It's an accomplished fact on the cross that we were delivered. So, who's He casting these demons out of here, that He says is a fulfillment through the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 53:4)? If it's a fulfillment of Him taking away our infirmities, then He's talking about deliverance of Covenant people. Let me give you another verse. When Jesus sent out His disciples, He limited them specifically as to where they were to go. Evangelization is to the world, but we're not talking about evangelization here, we're talking about dealing with “the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Mat.10:5) These twelve Jesus sent forth, and charged them, saying, Go not into [any] way of the Gentiles, and enter not into any city of the Samaritans. Samaritans were half-breeds. He's cutting out the half-breeds here. Or, a Samaritan also can be a pagan who's acting like a Christian because of how Samaria was populated. It was populated when God took away the northern 10 tribes and repopulated the area with pagans (2 Kings 17:24). And when the pagans in Samaria started dying because of the curses of the land (2 Kings 17:25), the prophet said, “Well, it's because they don't know the God of the land.” So then they brought Israelites in there to train these pagans about the God of the land (2 Kings 17:27). That means, in amongst the people of God, there are some half breeds. They've been trained in Christianity, they know all the lingo, but they're still pagans. I'm not saying God can't heal them, I'm just saying they're not Jews/Christians by nature. We need to have discernment and pay attention to what Jesus said. I've had the Lord tell me, “Don't lay hands on that person for healing.” I've had Him tell me and I thought they were Christians, but God just said don't do it. I don't know whether it was because they were in willful disobedience and they couldn't be healed because they were in rebellion against God or whether they weren't in covenant with God. I don't know. I don't have all the answers. I just know that God has told me not to do that before. But God has healed nonbelievers and He does it for evangelistic reasons. What I'm saying is there's a difference, though. The difference is you have no promise and there's no guarantee. For that, you have to be led of the Spirit. But as a Christian walking by faith in God, repented up of your sins and so on and so forth, you're guaranteed to be healed, if you will stay in covenant by faith. Every one of us has to stay in covenant by our faith. That's what keeps us in covenant with God. If you don't have faith, you can't have that part of the Covenant. It doesn't matter that you're saved in another part. If you have sozo over here, it doesn't mean you have sozo over there. The Covenant is very big and the sozo is very big, but you might be able to enter into only parts of it because of your faith. We enter into as much as we can receive through our faith. (Mat.10:5) These twelve Jesus sent forth, and charged them, saying, Go not into [any] way of the Gentiles, and enter not into any city of the Samaritans: (6) but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (7) And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. (8) Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely ye received, freely give. He was saying, cast the demons out, but only cast the demons out of Israel. They have to be first because of the Covenant. We have another good example from the apostle Paul. (1Co.5:1) It is actually reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not even among the Gentiles, that one [of you] hath his father's wife. (3) For I verily, being absent in body but present in spirit, have already as though I were present judged him that hath so wrought this thing, (4) in the name of our Lord Jesus, ye being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, (5) to deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Paul turned this man over to the devil for the destruction of his flesh. He used the devil to chasten this guy to bring him to repentance. You're probably going to waste a lot of breath trying to deliver that guy unless he repents. Printer-friendly version © 2017 UBM | Unleavened Bread Ministries. All rights reserved. Weekly Worship with the Blue Army1st Age: "Faithful and True" "Setting in Your Glory" "In Your Presence" "No Other Place"
SORAT'H, THIRD MEHL FIRST HOUSE, TI-TUKAS: ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD. BY THE GRACE OF THE TRUE GURU: You always preserve the honor of Your devotees, O Dear Lord; You have protected them from the very beginning of time. You protected Your servant Prahlaad, O Dear Lord, and annihilated Harnaakhash. The Gurmukhs place their faith in the Dear Lord, but the self-willed manmukhs are deluded by doubt. || 1 || O Dear Lord, this is Your Glory. You preserve the honor of Your devotees, O Lord Master; Your devotees seek Your Sanctuary. || Pause || The Messenger of Death cannot touch Your devotees; death cannot even approach them. The Name of the Lord alone abides in their minds; through the Naam, the Name of the Lord, they find liberation. Wealth and all the spiritual powers of the Siddhis fall at the feet of the Lord's devotees; they obtain peace and poise from the Guru. || 2 || The self-willed manmukhs have no faith; they are filled with greed and self-interest. They are not Gurmukh — they do not understand the Word of the Shabad in their hearts; they do not love the Naam, the Name of the Lord. Their masks of falsehood and hypocrisy shall fall off; the self-willed manmukhs speak with insipid words. || 3 || You are pervading through Your devotees, O Dear God; through Your devotees, You are known.All the people are enticed by Maya; they are Yours, Lord — You alone are the Architect of Destiny. Overcoming my egotism and quieting the desires within my mind, I have come to realize the Word of the Guru's Shabad. || 4 || God automatically does the work of those who love the Name of the Lord. By Guru's Grace, he ever dwells in their minds, and He resolves all their affairs. Whoever challenges them is destroyed; they have the Lord God as their Savior. || 5 || Without serving the True Guru, no one finds the Lord; the self-willed manmukhs die crying out in pain. They come and go, and find no place of rest; in pain and suffering, they perish. But one who becomes Gurmukh drinks in the Ambrosial Nectar, and is easily absorbed in the True Name. || 6 || Without serving the True Guru, one cannot escape reincarnation, even by performing numerous rituals. Those who read the Vedas, and argue and debate without the Lord, lose their honor. True is the True Guru, and True is the Word of His Bani; in the Guru's Sanctuary, one is saved. || 7 || Those whose minds are filled with the Lord are judged as true in the Court of the Lord; they are hailed as true in the True Court. Their praises echo throughout the ages, and no one can erase them. Nanak is forever a sacrifice to those who enshrine the Lord within their hearts. || 8 || 1 || --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gsjhampur/message

Kalyn is an entrepreneur and an organizational psychologist who empowers individuals to reach their dream careers. The duo talks about what it means to trust your intuition and follow the breadcrumbs to achieve your dream goals. Takeaways from this episode: Don't personalize it Distractions hinder you What is nice nasty? Resilience is Key [11:31] Resilience is needed to build courage and to hear your intuition. The experience of getting to where you need to be will have ups and downs. But not giving up is key. Most people don't realize that resilience is necessary. It is what gets you to the very end; it's what helps you build the strength you need. Resilience is allowing something to get beat up so that it can be stronger and grow. Finding Your Identity [19:02] Most women, and especially black women, describe their business as a side hustle. Men, however, do not describe it the same. Finding yourself, particularly as a woman, and owning it puts a shift in the way you act. If you have started a business and you start calling yourself a founder, which is what you are, you start having more accountability. It made me think of it as a real company and not just something I'm doing. Stand in Your Glory [25:20] Women tend to shy away from taking the credit they deserve. But we need to stand in our glory. When we shy away from it, it diminishes. It inadvertently makes people respect us less. Don't make yourself small and take the credit you deserve. The response was totally different. Here is the third episode in the We Take Our Turns series. We Take Our Turns is a book I wrote with gathered bits and pieces from my journals. I will read from the pages, share extended thoughts and backstories, and sometimes, like today, I will also add a song or two. It works just fine to listen to this series in any order. For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 NLT Today, I will share what comes to mind when I think of the beautiful face of Jesus Christ. I know now, Lord, why You utter no answer. You are Yourself the answer. Before Your face questions die away. What other answer would suffice? C.S. Everything that we are and do and who we are BEING right now: our thoughts, our words, our actions, how we're showing up and treating others, both human and animal… THIS is our obituary. I think so often, too often, we take life and the time we have here for granted. We really don't like thinking too deeply about our own deaths, however I implore all of us to stop, take a pause, a moment of introspection and contemplation to really notice how we're showing up and affecting the people, the animals, the environment, and the world around us. Today on the Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about what kind of impression or mark we'll leave in the world and consider what people will say about us, when we are gone. When they capture our life in those few short paragraphs, and share the announcement of our death with the world, what will they share? Will we have left behind something that matters and ripples outward for the better for years to come? What will your obituary say about you? There's an Olympic sport called “Curling” that involves bumpy ice, a smooth stone and some vigorous “sweepers” - who try to smooth out the path in front of the stone so it can travel farther and straighter. In our lives there's always going to be bumpy stuff that comes up for us. And, if we don't feel mentally, emotionally, spiritually or physically prepared and are not equipped to do what it takes to “sweep in front of our own stone” we're going to be left feeling stuck, stressed, anxious or depressed, and like life is too much to manage or too challenging to overcome the obstacles in our way. By getting our minds into alignment with the reality that life is going to be hard sometimes and understanding that there will be difficult hours or days, we can learn to accept that it's all a part of the whole being human experience. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about the difficulties we often encounter in life and how it's a pretty normal part of the human experience to go through them. The key words here being, “go through”. The truth is, we all can build the foundation necessary to withstand hard times, not only underneath us, but all around us. So that when we find ourselves bumping up against these harder days and or moments, we don't just have to sit back and wish somebody else would come to save us or rescue us. We can step up to the plate, get “sweeping” on our own behalf and get done what needs to be done. The other night on a call with my spiritual membership and community: THE NEST, I was reminded how we as people, creatives, and entrepreneurs often have a big fear of being judged. The thing with feeling judged by others is we begin to believe we don't belong, that we're being attacked, we're not safe or will be abandoned. It can also leave us feeling like we're somehow wrong or that we're not lovable, worthy or “good enough” because … fill in the blank … it comes up in a thousand different ways. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about the reality that as human beings, we pretty much all judge. It's unfortunately what our ego-mind and in turn people do to one another. The ego loves to make us “special” through either feeling superior to others or “shittier” than others. Ha! Eventually because of this state of mind, we find ourselves in a pattern of not only being somebody who judges, but also in the fear and feeling of being on the receiving end of other's judgment. (And we all know how that feels.) For this reason, so many people will not pursue their dreams, they won't start that business, or write that book because they believe they can't show up fully as themselves without being judged, attacked, made fun of or called out. It's all a racket run by the ego, and we don't have to be held hostage to it. We know how much it hurts to be in the aim and fire of somebody else's attack of judgment. So let's do our part and have the change start with us and choose today to stop doing it first and foremost, both to ourselves and to each other. There is a way for wives to adorn themselves that makes God look good; makes their husband look good; makes themselves look good and makes marriage look good. It is headship.Granted, people have understood this wrongly and modeled it even worse. Husbands also get this wrong, if they abuse or abdicate their headship. But fortunately those are not the heads we are to look to: it is CHRIST. He did this first to help us understand that VALUE is not determined by ROLE. Getting headship right makes God look good. It makes wives look good. It makes husbands and marriage itself look good. Listen 7 minutes here and work towards first UNDERSTANDING Biblical headship in marriage. Then follow Christ in living it out. It is YOUR GLORY. Please visit bewithme.us That is a website for this podcast and blurb that can give it to you every day.
In my realm of work, people are usually “symptom aware”. They know they're unhappy, anxious, stressed out, struggling or suffering in some way. Where they get stuck is that they're often not “problem aware” (why or what's really happening) and they're definitely not “solution aware”. Meaning they're not making the connection between the symptoms/problems they're having and how somebody like me could help them. It's not like when people are struggling or suffering that they lay in bed at night thinking; “If only I had a spiritual mentor.” HA! Instead, they do what humans tend to do when they're sad, stressed, overwhelmed, scared or anxious; things like binge Netflix, drink booze, scroll social media, shop online, get high, keep busy, overwork… Basically anything to distract themselves, because they're uncomfortable and don't like how they're feeling and want to numb it with whatever they can find. Rather than trying to understand where the cause of the problem lies and how to heal it from the inside out, people often look for external quick fixes or avoid it altogether. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about our “Spiritual Plumbing” and how when it needs servicing or maintenance, a spiritual mentor can be wicked helpful and support you to get unstuck, stop the leaks, remove the blocks to Love and get back into the flow of life. You must play a proactive role in your own healing, but a Spiritual Mentor can hold the container of strength and vision of you, and for you until you're ready to remember, receive and run with it yourself. You see it all the time; people who aren't writing the books, or creating the art or baking the food or building the business, and yet they still have something to say about those who are. You find them sitting on the sidelines, on the bench, in the bleachers and in the backseat offering up their critiques without ever having stepped foot into the arena themselves. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about the kinds of people that light me up to work with and who I also want to spend my time with both personally and professionally. These are the ones that are showing up and actively participating in their life and their business with their whole body, mind and soul in the game. If they get knocked down, they're willing to get back up, to try new things or to seek help in both healing and growing themselves or growing their businesses. As a spiritual mentor, it gives me great joy to work with people who want to be more spiritually aligned, have more self knowledge, who no longer want to just sit and complain about things in their life, but instead are willing to actually do the work it takes to get better. That energy of being willing to get down to business is exciting to me. That's what LIGHTS ME UP!! How about you? Are you one of the ones in the arena? I've been wanting to talk about this concept about “asking for support, not permission” more in depth for a long time now. It's come up again and again in conversations with other entrepreneurs and also on podcasts where I've been a guest. I've touched upon the subject, but this episode gives me a chance to dive in a little deeper.. If you're an entrepreneur, business owner or you sell things (services, products, programs, etc) there comes a moment in the conversation with a potential client or customer about wanting to sign up to work together, join the program, buy the product and the inevitable question of “payment” or moving forward with making the investment? Today on the Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about the thing that sometimes happens when you talk with a person who already knows they want to work with you, they feel it in their gut that you're the right mentor/coach/company/solution for them or their problem and they even say, “Yes! I want to do this or buy this thing or take that leap of faith...” BUT… And I've seen this time and time again, where the person will be 100% ready to go, they're wicked excited to begin, they might even ask for the sign up link and then they say something like, “I just have to talk to my husband/wife/sweetie/partner first.” They move from their inner, intuitive knowing, where they were lit up and excited to go, grow, heal, and expand, into now having to talk to someone else before they invest in themselves, their calling or their business. This conversation can unfortunately be the place where dreams go to die. Because the partner might not be an entrepreneur or may not understand or believe in the importance of mentors/coaches, spiritual growth or investing in personal development. They might also not have the same dreams, vision or purpose as you do. They might not share the same money stories or they may be more risk averse than you are. This is where asking for support rather than permission comes into play. Now, I know that there's lots of different financial situations and nuanced processes around decision making in relationships, especially when it comes to spending money. So this isn't a judgment. This episode is an exploration about these kinds of conversations and hopefully a helpful way to approach them. It helps to know yourself, know what you want and need and to lead with love instead of fear, so you can find the courage to ask for support to back you up, rather than the permission to take the first step. If you're on my email list, you saw that I recently sent one out that was titled, “Are You Willing to Enter The Cave?” It was all about a journey that started for me back when I was 17 and that intensified in my 20's when I went on a couple of Spiritual Pilgrimages. It was on that particular trip to England & Ireland when I sat in Merlin's Cave that I felt called to go on a “quest”. Most often when we think about going on a quest, we think of journeying to faraway places or discovering new lands! And those external adventures can also be incredible experiences for the one who has been called. However for me, “The Quest” although it has shown up in a multitude of ways at different points in my life, each one was ultimately pointing me to a journey inward. It was answering the call to know myself, so that I could build a solid foundation for both my personal and professional life. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about my relationship with the word, Quest, where it originated from, how it's influenced me and my work, and the fun and powerful ways it's continually shown up over the course of my personal and professional life. After listening to this episode, perhaps you'll also feel called to answer the call of your heart, take that leap of faith and to join “The Quest”! Have you ever felt like you're taking on too much in your personal life or business? Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about our lives as they might compare to a buffet. You know the restaurant/cafeteria style of eating where we get to pick and choose how much we pile onto our plates? Not sure how it is for you, but sometimes in this kind of setting, our eyes end up being bigger than our stomachs and our plates become way too full to finish. The same can be seen in our daily lives; people calling on us for help, looking for support, a bunch of events and activities that we want to attend, filling up the schedule, booking up all of our time and we end up with too much on our symbolic “plates” of life. We fill our day to day with so much commitment that we leave no room for ourselves to just BE, often taking it to the point of burnout. We need to be more aware of our limits, what we say yes to, who's been “picking” off our plates and when it's time to back away from the buffet! Ha! What have you been putting on your plate that you could delegate or let go of? KK's Takeaways Generator By Human Design (5:19) Labels We Put On Each Other (11:32) Who Are You Eating With? Have you ever felt underestimated by different people in your life? Sometimes, people are quick to underestimate us, particularly if we're not the same as them or display characteristics or traits that differ from their own. But to that I say “let them underestimate you.” Use their disbelief to your advantage. The people who truly get you and value you won't be swayed by the ignorance of others - they'll see your genuine skills, truth and characteristics and appreciate them and even, admire you for them. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about the secret superpowers that each of us have. A brilliance, a light and love that just because other people don't always see it, whether they're threatened by it, afraid of it, or don't want to acknowledge it out of fear, arrogance or fragility, doesn't make your worth any less true. So if nobody else has told you today, just know that I'm over here celebrating you. Let them underestimate you, because I know and I hope you know, how powerful you are at the core of it all. When it comes to my Spiritual Team (ST), I'm what you might call kind of a “mutt.” I draw upon a lot of Divine Helpers from different traditions and don't just stick to only one particular thing. My ST is a cast of characters that put me back in touch with who I really am, remind me of what I'm capable of, what my purpose is and to whom I belong. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about the “ass kickers” that are on my Spiritual Team! We're diving into why I think they're important, why I encourage people to have at least one on their team, and what the power and benefit of their presence can do for us. Now, not everybody is going to feel the same about having some on their team and that's OK. This is where knowing yourself is wicked important because we'll all be inspired by different people, means, tones of voice, and approaches. In this day and age of social media and the internet, a lot of people seem to have no respect for intellectual property. They will just take someone else's words, content and or ideas and slap their name on a quote card and call it their own. They believe that if they alter it slightly, even just by one word and then attribute it to themselves, then they're good to go. Sometimes they'll even teach entire concepts word for word without ever giving attribution. In fact, there's a few successful people who've made a lot of money in the coaching and entrepreneurial world on the backs of people who came before them that they give no credit to. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about having integrity and not plagiarizing someone else's work. Or as I like to simply say… “Don't steal sh*t!” It's really not that complicated. Having the integrity to acknowledge your teachers or where you get information from doesn't take anything away from your intelligence or reputation. In fact, it works in your favor and shows that you're confident enough in your own wisdom and lived experience, to not be afraid to let people know about your mentors, teachers or other brilliant friends who you've learned from or are also doing great work in the world! There are times by simply being ourselves and making our own choices, we inspire or influence others in a positive way to look at themselves and what their path is. This happens especially if someone looks up to us, respects us or likes to learn from us. Occasionally, it can also have the opposite effect, and people will see or hear you and then subconsciously feel uncomfortable with what they themselves are doing, what they're choosing or how they're being. And, sometimes by just you being you, you being your creative self, or you living in the world as you are and as you feel called to do, other people are going to feel the need to say something about it. Here's the thing, we don't have to say (or believe) every damn thing that pops into our head. In fact, so much of what we think about how life or others should be is biased and unnecessary, but the ego tries to convince us that what we have to say is so special and important, that we feel the need to share all of it with the world wherever we go. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about “creating our own world”. One where we get to do what we need to in order to feel healthy, happy and fulfilled, without feeling the need to inflict those preferences on others. This doesn't mean that we don't share about them, we just don't need to insist that others follow suit. As Bob Ross so brilliantly said; “Just because I did one, doesn't mean you have to.” We're all here to find our own way and one person's preferences, does not make another's wrong. We get to be different and that's super-duper OK! KK's Takeaways: • Bob Ross Teaching (4:10) • You Don't Have To Say Everything That Comes To Mind (11:14) • When I Stopped Drinking (17:28) • We Think The World Happens To Us (24:12) • We Make Sh*t Up In Our Heads (28:35) • Is It True, Kind & Necessary? It seems like so many people are feeling overwhelmed these days or have a kind of “sense of despair”. There's been so much senseless violence, loss and grief happening in the world and folks are just trying to work their way through it. Even in my own life, in the past six months, I've lost three of my Aunties, and three of my furry kids. Let me tell you, it has been a season. I also know people who've lost their homes or have been kicked out of their homes, and I've heard of others whose rents have doubled overnight. The stories are just heart-wrenching and it sometimes feels like the world has lost its ever-loving mind. The question that often comes up in my work with others is, “What can I, as one individual person, really do to make a difference?” To this I say, “While we can't change the world, what we can do is change ourselves, our minds, our perspectives and choose how we respond to what is happening in the world.” Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about how much there's going on in the world, and how that can leave people feeling hopeless or helpless, or like you're being left in the dark without a clue on what to do. My goal for this episode is to share a few of the helpful tools that I've used when it comes to navigating through some of the “colossal shit shows” that seem to happen in our world. As a Spiritual Mentor, I often jokingly say that, “This being human is an ongoing problem.” Funny things about humans though, we often don't make the connection between human problems and spiritual solutions. When we're facing human sadness, fear, loneliness, grief, heartbreak, trauma, overwhelm, anxiety, disconnection, and the thousand and one other ways that humans can suffer and cause suffering… It doesn't usually occur to many of us that our fecked' up situations can't be solved by the same ego-strategies and thought systems that got us into the fecked' up mess in the first place. We somehow don't connect the dots to finding strength, support, and solutions through spiritual work, tools and practices. In fact, if you had told the much younger version of myself that being willing to say a prayer would solve my human conflict, I'm not sure I would have believed you. Until one day 27+ years ago, I had an experience with my friend and mentor, Marianne Williamson that changed my life forever. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about how we sometimes overlook Spiritual practices and mentoring as a solution because it either never occurred to us before, or we have these different ideas about what we think spiritual work is and how it may or may not help us when we're suffering. At some point or another, we've all probably thought or even said the statement; “I'm not going to get my hopes up.” We did this because for some reason we thought it was better to not dream too big - rather than having our hopes dashed when things didn't go our way. But words matter, and what we say to ourselves even in moments of “self-protection” can make a difference in the outcome of our daily lives. With a subconscious mind that is always listening to what we say and that some also say doesn't know the difference between what's real and imagined, being intentional with our words is of the utmost importance. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about getting our hopes not only up, but WAY UP!! And if things don't go as we hoped, dreamed or planned, we can choose not to be or stay disappointed. If sh*t doesn't work out the way you wanted, we can learn to let go of the attachment and trust that something better is trying to come through or already on the way. Did you know that from the third trimester, when we're still in our mom's belly until the time that we're about seven years old, we are deeply programmable, open to suggestions and often operating in the brain wave states most associated with being hypnotized? Like little sponges, we soak up everything we hear, see and experience in our environments, including scary situations or mean statements like, “You're stupid, you're never going to learn, you're never gonna amount to anything, you're too fat, you're too ugly” and so much more. All the stuff that people mindlessly don't think about when they're saying it around their children, or directly to them and sometimes the stuff they repeat even to themselves.. These statements then get absorbed, and we become conditioned and indoctrinated into these particular ways of seeing ourselves, the stories we tell and believe and ultimately shows up in who and how we are being. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about being more mindful of what we allow ourselves to believe and what we'll continue to allow in. When we're little kids, we're not responsible for the things that were said to us or done to us. However, we are responsible for what we choose to do with or about those thoughts, meanings and beliefs now that we're older. It's our task to recognize that those stories are no longer serving us and are in fact, inhibiting us to the point that they have become harmful. Are you ready to rewrite your stories and transform your life? It can feel challenging sometimes, especially if you were raised as a “blue collar kid” to take time to rest even when it's needed. But the push back against resting is really just an old pattern of societal pressure and subconscious programming, that we can not only let go of, but we can replace with a more helpful way of thinking. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about how the brain loves to keep us “safe” by keeping us in what is familiar. When we start to move into areas that are outside of our known comfort zone, like slowing down and taking a break - our brain can go into the “Danger Will Robinson” panic mode. Knowing this, we sometimes need to give each other and ourselves a permission slip to let go and stop resisting the rest our body needs. Call it a sick day, a day of Sabbath or a sabbatical - sometimes it's just what the doctor ordered. The truth is just because we could keep going and doing, doesn't mean we should. Just because we can, doesn't mean it makes a whole lot of sense to do it. As a Generator (in my Human Design) I can do a lot of things. But it doesn't mean that it's what's best for me, the other people, the program, the product, or the project I'm working on to do that. So, I'm going to let you in on a little secret; take it from a “blue collar kid” who was taught to bust her ass and knows how to work really hard… It's okay to take a rest and doing so is not a weakness. Stop resisting a rest when you need it and you'll probably find that you're even more present, positive and productive in the end as a result. In today's episode of The Karen Kenney Show, we revisit a wicked honest episode that got a lot of feedback when I first released it! I heard from so many people who said they loved the show, that it really resonated and that it got them thinking and talking with their friends and family about their own personal drinking and our greater culture of drinking. I also heard from some folks that shared that the episode touched a nerve and I even got a few messages from people that after reading the title - admitted that they were afraid to listen to it and were purposefully choosing not to at that time. On this show, we talk about some of the reasons why people might drink, what the reactions and social consequences can be when you make a conscious choice to stop and how letting it go can allow us to step more fully into the true nature of ourselves. This isn't an episode full of judgement. It's simply a down-to-earth, look at my own origin story with alcohol, my thoughts about drinking now that I'm an adult and hopefully a fresh perspective that someone will find helpful, hopeful or supportive. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about the power of “Word of Mouth” (WOM). WOM can be defined in a few different ways, but how it's traditionally known is the passing of information from person to person using oral communication. This is simply where a person tells a story about either a real (or made-up) event to someone else. Word of mouth like storytelling has been around since the beginning of time. In many cultures, “the keepers of the stories” were revered for their gifts and for being the ones who held and shared the knowledge, anecdotes and history of the ancestors and the land. Without them, the clan had no past and with them came a vital sense of identity and belonging for the members of the group. Another facet of WOM I appreciate is spreading the good word about someone or something via referral - either by electronic, printed or verbal means. It's like organic, spontaneous, heart directed marketing that inspires you to want to share your experience with others! I think it's wicked important that when we discover something we love, whether it's a product, a person, a place, or a program, that we use our own word of mouth power to help spread that love and show our support for both it and its creator. It matters because as you'll learn from this episode what makes “Word of Mouth” so effective is that it all boils down to trust. Research has shown time and again that, “Consumers trust personal recommendations above all other sources of information in the buying process.” This same concept also extends to the people in our lives. The way we communicate with one another makes a difference. Through the power of our words, we have the ability to either tear them down or to lift them up, to “crucify” people or to “resurrect” them. So whether we write a testimonial, hit the “share button”, do a love shout out, make a referral or help someone see themselves as they really are, let's choose and use our words intentionally. May our own “word of mouth” communications be powerful, positive, impactful, genuine, generous, supportive, inspirational and trustworthy. One of the things that we often do (and something I used to do all the time) - is we mistake our identity, who we think we are, how we see ourselves, and how we relate to the world with what's happened to us; with our origin stories. We confuse our identity with “our biography” - all those things that have happened to us, especially when we were younger. Sometimes we also even do it with our genetics, where we think because a certain trait runs in the family that they will automatically pass it down to us and we won't be able to overcome it or survive it. Today on the Karen Kenney show we're talking about the stories we write about ourselves that are almost never in our favor. Stories about the places, the circumstances, the environments, that we believe play a role or dictate what is or isn't possible for us. We unfortunately often get attached to the identity of our “woundedness”. Using statements like, “I'm a mess, I'm broken, I'm wounded” - as ways to describe ourselves and the cause of what holds us back. What is wicked helpful to realize and understand is that although we're having human experiences here, which means there's probably going to be some bumps along the way - there's also, as poet John O'Donohue talks about, “There is a place in you where you have never been wounded, where there's still a sureness in you, where there's a seamlessness in you, and where there is a confidence and tranquility in you.” There is a seamlessness, an unbroken and unwounded space where you remember the truth of yourself as an extension of the Divine and as one of God's kids. It is from this place that our real happiness, health, healing, wholeness, and “holiness” lives and loves. KK's Takeaways: • Write These Stories (5:15) • Often Mistake Ourselves (8:00) • Strength Of God Abides (11:13) • There Is A Place In The Soul (16:09) • Nothing Can Destroy The Real True You (20:56) • The Mind Goes Quiet (25:01) Karen Kenney is a certified Spiritual Mentor, writer, author, speaker, and the host of The Karen Kenney Show Podcast. Back in the day, before there were refrigerators, people had to store their crop harvest together over periods of time in big batches. Something that they learned, sometimes the hard way, is that just one bad apple that's really bruised, rotting or starting to go bad gives off a gas known as ethylene. This gas affects the other fruit close to it by speeding up the ripening process and if left unchecked can eventually spoil the entire bunch. You've probably also heard the term “one bad apple” used in regard to people, meaning “Well, it's just one bad apple, the whole group isn't rotten”. Others have used it to say, “One bad apple is an indicator that there's probably more just like it”. Meaning a singular bad apple can affect the bunch with their negative behavior, demeanor, beliefs or attitude, creating the same or similar negative qualities that can affect those around them. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking about how what we surround ourselves with and what we allow within our own mind, has influence, whether that be for the good or the bad. This means we need to hold some level of vigilance over who or what it is we allow to come into our thoughts and into our lives. This extends to include the old stories and beliefs we hold in our mind. Is what we're telling ourselves helpful, healing, and loving - or - have those old subconscious stories become harmful and a hindrance to happy living? A good question to consider is… Is what we think and tell ourselves spilling out into the world around us to the point that we've become the bad apple? And if so, what am I going to do about it to pluck out that “moldy fruit?” KK's Takeaways: • Be Mindful (7:57) • I Was Going Through A Lot (14:36) • We Get A Say Now (22:55) • Plucking Out That Moldy Fruit (26:43) • Old Subconscious Programming (27:42) Karen Kenney is a certified Spiritual Mentor, Certified Hypnotist, writer, author, speaker, and the host of The Karen Kenney Show Podcast.
