Big Brother Recaps & Live Feed Updates from Rob Has a Podcast
BB28 Friday Live Feed Update July 17, 2026 Watch this podcast on YouTube! Big Brother 28 sees the house dividing as new alliances form and big moves get set in motion. Host Taran Armstrong delivers a detailed recap for the live feed update on July 17, joined by Pooya as a guest. The core tension focuses on Devens as the new Head of Household and the fallout from Ashley's unanimous eviction, creating a dramatic divide as groups scramble for power. Devens wins HOH following Ashley’s eviction and immediately signals he wants to avoid nominating previous blockmates, shaking up the standard “easy nominees” approach. The plan quickly pivots as Angela pushes for a bolder move—suggesting Rome or Jason as targets instead of melody—and a power alliance solidifies under the name “Tool Shed.” Strategy talk explodes in the HOH suite, with almost everyone but Barrett plotting a potential backdoor, side deals, and how to manage the rapid rise of house powers. Meanwhile, Rome scrambles to protect Lyric, but Devens only guarantees Rome’s own safety, not Lyric's. The new big alliance forms, but the process gets messy, and the other side starts to catch on after a failed attempt at subtlety. Devens decides not to put up anyone who’s already faced the block, a rare move noted by Taran Armstrong. Angela advocates for a Rome (or Jason) backdoor, fueling Devens’ appetite for making a splash, as discussed live. Drew introduces “Tool Shed” as the new alliance name, with secret late-night alliance-building in the HOH room. Rome attempts to save Lyric by revealing the “Four Seasons” alliance, but unintentionally exposes his side's numbers. Barrett, Dee, Drew, Angela, Kamu, and others debate the risks, powers, and math behind the nominations and alliances, reflecting on who may flip when the dust settles. Now that the Tool Shed alliance is drawing battle lines, will Devens' bold approach and Angela's push for a showy target keep their numbers strong—or set off the kind of chaos that turns the house upside down? Tune in to hear the crew break down every maneuver and what it means for the next big BB28 showdown. The Knicks are headed to the NBA Finals, and Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber capture the surreal feeling of a franchise long defined by frustration suddenly looking like the most dominant team in basketball. What once felt impossible now feels real, as New York has turned playoff closeout games into statements and forced even skeptical fans to believe. Evan and Tiki break down how the Knicks overwhelmed Cleveland, why their defensive transformation has changed everything, and how contributions from Jalen Brunson, Karl Anthony Towns, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, Landry Shamet, Deuce McBride, and Jose Alvarado have made this team so dangerous. They also push back on criticism of the Knicks' path, arguing that New York can only beat the teams in front of them and has done it with historic force.
Andy and Randy bounce around to some of the bigger sports stories around Atlanta and nationwide.

Manchester City rested some of their in-form players for the visit of Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, but had no trouble dispatching the Eagles before Saturday's FA Cup final. Phil Foden dazzled with two assists as City overtook Arsenal's goal difference, giving them the edge in the title race IF the Gunners draw with Burnley at the weekend. Elsewhere, Oliver Glasner has been clapping back at rumours he might rest his best players on the Premier League final day when his side take on Arsenal in his final game, claiming he hasn't received a cheque from either Mikel Arteta or Pep Guardiola's bosses. Arne Slot might have been joining Glasner at the job centre after rumours of his exit grew stronger recently, but the Reds boss insists he's staying on, adding fuel to the fire of the links between Xabi Alonso and Chelsea. If you watched the the stretch in the 1st where Winnipeg didn't get a shot for 14 minutes there is no way you would have said the Jets would have held a 6-1 lead after 40 minutes. But they exploded for three goals in the 1st and three goals in the 2nd to take a stranglehold on the game. They gave up one more late in the 3rd but the run continues as they had now won four straight.
Recap of the game.

Nate Tice & Matt Harmon do an NFL reality check with 4 NFL trends they know they know & 4 they think they know. The duo start off with a Monday Night Football recap, as the Dallas Cowboys impressed in their beatdown of the Las Vegas Raiders to the point where Nate believes they're on track to be contenders in 2026.Next, Nate & Matt give 4 NFL trends they're absolutely sure of at this point of the season, as Matt chastises the Atlanta Falcons for giving away a top-ten pick to a Super Bowl contender and praises the Chicago Bears for making a home-run hire in Ben Johnson, while Nate is positive the Seattle Seahawks are still a serious contender and that the Detroit Lions defense is elite.Later, the two hosts give 4 more NFL trends that they think they know but aren't quite sure of yet.
