So in finishing up our month long journey into Serial Killers we end it on 2 people that just don't fit the "profile". From late 1989 through late 1990, the bodies of 7 middle-aged white men were discovered in central Florida. The assailant had robbed all of the victims before shooting them to death and stealing their cars. Who was this person you ask? Aileen Wuornos... In the second hour we discuss an American serial killer who was convicted in 2012 of the murders of three women in California between 1987 and 1989 as well as in 2018 of the murder of one woman in Texas in 1994. He claimed to have killed as many as 93 women, and investigators have linked him to over 60 murders. Samuel Little... The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has confirmed Little's involvement in at least 60 murders, the largest number of proven cases for any serial killer in United States history. He allegedly murdered women across 19 states over a third of a century ending around 2005. The number of murders he confessed to, if confirmed, would make him the most prolific serial killer in United States history, according to Ector County, Texas District Attorney Bobby Bland. His killing spree spanned four decades and went from 1970 to 2005 across various American states. The FBI is asking for the public’s help in matching the remaining unconfirmed confessions. ViCAP, with the support of the Texas Rangers, has provided additional information and details about five cases in hopes that someone may remember a detail that could further the investigation. The spring and summer of 1985 had the residents of Los Angeles locking doors and windows, and afraid to be inside their own homes at night. The reason? Richard Ramirez AKA The Night Stalker, a true face of evil. He murdered, raped, tortured, robbed and terrified California residents. Netflix has recently released a documentary on Ramirez, but they mainly discuss the detectives involved in the case and their story. The game was released on Steam for Microsoft Windows in September 2020 in early access, along with VR support. The game received a large influx of popularity the following month due to many well-known Twitch streamers and YouTubers playing it, mainly for the Halloween season. As of October 15, 2020, the game was the sixth-most popular game on Twitch and the best selling game on Steam globally! The player takes control of one member from a group of up to four players, in the roles of urban exploring ghost hunters, who are contracted to deal with ghosts inhabiting different abandoned facilities such as homes, schools and hospitals. The game features 12 different varieties of ghost, each of which behave differently. In order to find out which type of ghost they have encountered, the players must collect evidence on the ghost. The end goal of the game is not to defeat the ghosts, it is to collect enough information on them, with at the end of each mission the players get paid. Players communicate through voice chat, which the ghost itself hears and reacts to. How many times have you seen the videos of people bending spoons "with their minds"? I personally have seen loads of them. When watching though do you do like me, and pay very close attention (or watch frame by frame) to see that slight of hand trick? Magicians have always amazed me since I was a kid. Then as I got older I learned about these people that have telekinetic powers! What were these powers? How did they do this stuff? Then I saw Firestarter with Drew Barrymore... Could someone out there really do that? Did it take a special kind of training or were there people born with that "power"? During research for this weeks episode we discovered so many more Kinetic abilities than I honestly thought was out there! It goes much further than telekinesis and pyrokinesis... Much further! Are they possible? I think probably not, but not everyone agrees with me. So as far as these "superhero powers" as awesome as it would be it just doesn't fall into my reality. But.. But, you have to ask yourself… Does the hospital just become haunted after it closes? Simple answer.. NO! Hospitals are probably the most haunted locations in the world. If someone asks you to name a haunted location what is the first thing you think of? Yeah, its probably Amityville.. because it has been pushed in our faces since the early 1970’s. But other than the families documented in those early cases there is no further data on that haunting (other than the HORRIBLE spinoff movies with the name AMITYVILLE in the title, most of those will haunt us forever… and not in a good way) Hospitals though… whether fairly new or over a 100 years old. More than likely that bitch is haunted! Some of the worlds most documented evidence or data of the paranormal have come from hospitals. So much so that even the Travel Channel has devoted a series to these nightmare induced structures. Some of our favorite investigations to date have come from hospitals. So on this episode we will discuss our experiences from some of these locations, and share some audio clips from our investigations that we think you will enjoy!
