    Marc King on How Keller Williams Changes Who You Are

    Marc King has been with Keller Williams since 1997 and has moved through the company from an agent all the way to becoming the President of KWRI. He likes to say that he makes more mistakes than any one else in the company, and one of those was not focusing on Profit Share sooner.Marc shares that people recruiting people to make money doesn't work — it's the realization that you can help change lives that makes Profit Share work. For Marc, his big WHY is his family, including extended family, and helping to take care of them is why he does what he does.In the late 00s, his grandmother was very ill and was on kidney dialysis. It was $400/month to keep her on dialysis, and he was struggling financially with his business. He outlines just how much he was struggling, and how he had to tell his grandmother that he couldn't cover her dialysis one month. The day he believed he couldn't make the dialysis payment, he received just enough in profit share to make the payment for her.He shares that it's not the Profit Share and that what makes goes to charity — it's not about what you get, it's about who you become, and helping people realize that. Linda notes that you never know when Profit Share will help fill a gap, and that you never know when that will happen.Linda mentions that if Keller Williams isn't changing your life, you're not leaning into enough stuff because there is opportunity. Marc is a good example as he literally started at the bottom and worked his way up.

    Robert Bell on Being A Partner in the Business of KW

    Robert Bell is the Director of Core Curriculum Training for Keller Williams University, working on Ignite, Bold, and a number of other courses at KWRI. He shares how he's not an agent. Robert shares that he got excited about Profit Share after learning about the Recruiting Websites offered through McKissack's Profit Share Mastery website, as it solved the issue of not being an agent yet being able to grow his downline by connecting newly licensed agents to KW.Robert started actively focusing on Profit Share in July with his own Personal Recruiting Website, and has since added 9 people to his downline with 11 in the pipeline. He talks about how he recruited someone into KW Turkey, thus entering into Growth Share as well!He talks about how in his department they've started a Profit Share Club because they know the training and that anyone can have the conversation. He would say to anyone who isn't an agent is just learning the questions, and that you can direct a lot to the local contact or Team Leader you connect them to.Robert shares that anyone can have these conversations, and that you don't have to say much. He notes that one of his big surprises was how comfortable he was able to get with the process in such a quick amount of time. His advice for anyone who wants to make Profit Share a priority is to commit, whatever that looks like to you.     On this episode, Pres explains how he got into profit share after growing up in a family focused on real estate.  He shares how he got to see his family go from being $600,000 in debt to living at their freedom number by mastering real estate and then going on to master profit share.  He discusses how when he was thinking of working on Profit Share himself, he didn't want to go after seasoned agents, but wanted to go for new agents instead.  He talked to someone who had been doing this effectively and started a recruiting website with his childhood friend Nick.  Nick now works the website and reaching out to new agents full time, and last year brought over 130 people to Keller Williams.  Linda and Pres also discuss how you can constantly be talking to people about what you do for work, and you can bring people into your downline from those day to day encounters.
