Have you heard of video games? Us too!
Hello! Where have we gone? Well, Matt and Ryan continue(!) talking about movies over at Book Club for Movies, Facebook, Twitter (Matt especially), Instagram, and Patreon for all you diehards! (we have not done an episode on Die Hard) Ryan is also knee-deep into building a YouTube channel called Ryan_Runs_ that features Livestreams, Let's Plays, and videos about games, comics, and what can only be described as "maybe a vlog??" I'm... I mean HE is also making a go of it on Patreon, but if you're wondering where all the free podcast episodes went they've been migrated over to a new feed on Anchor, but also everywhere else in the podcast world, so if you don't feel like clicking on any of those links just type "Ryan_Runs_" into your pod player of choice and you should find me. I mean HIM. This is not me. See you there!
A new patron! A new thing on the wall! A new layout for the makeshift garage-place where I record all these videos! A new... very old guitar!
Just a short check-in before I disappear into a pile of technology...
Now in color! And a bunch of weird ones at that! *Slightly* less weird than some of the albums I listened to but your mileage may vary!
Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years... AND that implies some sort of success previously so let's not be misleading
It's a good thing I do a bit of housekeeping up front otherwise I might've stepped on some of the LEGO talk from the second half of the video zip zingaroo thank you goodnight
Some history - personal and otherwise - behind Joe Jusko's Marvel Masterpieces!
It's the Holiday season so this week I've taken comfort in some classic music and spent a bunch of money on a thing - feel that Christmas spirit!
It occurs to me that I might start using this description section to actually describe what the episodes are about! So here's a quick trip through some Aquabats moments from my life, they continue to be zippy dudes that make the world a better place :)
Welcome to 1992!
Here goes everything... https://www.patreon.com/ryan_runs_
There was a time when skateboarding was about as nerdy as reading comics, for example: me.
Time to talk about one of the best Marvel sequels of all time...
A third-person paranormal crossword puzzle game doesn't exist, but we make do.
Let's dip into the toilet [games genre].
Spec Ops is short for "Special Oops," spread the word.
Let's get the word out about Call of Duty, but just the ones nobody cares about anymore!
4 more games, 4 more chances to say I love you.
It's not your fault, I've played four more games.
More games, more words!
Is it that I won't stop playing or that I won't stop talking? Yes!
By the time I figured out what was happening it was too late and I had played enough games to record one of these things.
Let's figure this out together!
Hello, Ryan here, I have returned to inform the world that Apple Arcade is a thing that involves other things, some of them are games, and that's about as timely as the takes get around here!
Well, it's been a podcast, now I guess it's time to be something else, except still a podcast. Thank you to all, anyone who listened, anyone who heard, it's always been such a small thing, and yes sometimes a very dumb thing, but our thing, you included, and that means the world.
Five plus five equals ten and that's all I'm willing to commit to at the moment!
Hoidy toidy Hello everyone welcome to our episode on The Irishman, it is under 3 hours long and also features words on The Interview (not that one), Leon: The Professional, Arachnophobia, Blinded by the Light, and how to get Regally ripped off on the way to Dark Waters.
It's that time of the year again, the air is rich with game nomination and Ryan heeds the call to ride southward yet again...
It's more TV than anyone knows what to do with, especially the networks, so let's try and make sense of it all... or .0000001% of it!
Boy have you come to the right place for "a free game that's a roller coaster game," but also Raw Data, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Not Spec Ops Mode, and the finally the less offensive version of Uno you've always wanted.
The Knives are Out this week but so are the Hobbs and Shaws, a little bit of the Jojo Rabbits, even more of the Anna and the Apocalypses, and possibly way too much of Chris Claremont's X-Men, Matthew Vaughn's X-Men, Ryan's X-Men...
Let us give thanks for DC Legends(?), Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Discovery Tour, Poke-man-children, and Amy Hennig's blatant unwillingness to work with Robert Kirkman.
It must be time to talk about free fast food glassware, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but like the REALLY modern warfare one, DC Legends, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, DC Legends, being adaptive, Anthem??, Halo Reach Around boom still got it, and probably DC Legends but actually Mortal Combat 11 somehow!
Alita Battle Angel. Inglorious Basterds. Candyman. Dark Phoenix. Yesterday. These are just a few of the words that pass for movie titles nowadays, listen and learn!
Welcome to another episode of Ryan Matt This and That where we take a stab at Cereal, Diablo 3, Modern Warfare, DC Legends, and I think cooking, but who knows!
"People are RAVing about RAVenous!" is the headline nobody wrote because maybe someone ate their fingers who knows also House of Wax, Halloween a la Joe Bob, Batman and Bill, Watchmen, and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. Movies!
Get your phones out you're in for a legendarily long DC discussion this week with a little help from Yoku's Island Express, Outer Worlds, Modern Warfare, and some of that Blizzard hullabaloo!
Get your dogs AND soldiers all in one place this week with a side serving of devil kids and gemini mans!
You, me, Borderlands 3, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Untitled Goose Game, Yoku's Island Express, puzzles, Hong Kong, Analogue Pocket, Simpsons Hit and Run, Grand Theft Auto, Chernobylite, and Dupree.
The Mist has turned into The Fog as Octoberween winds its way into week two with a little help from Matt's shirt and/or some movie called Suspiria!
Lock up your daughters Matt and Ryan are on the prowl and would innocently encourage them to play video games like... comic books and wrestling? Magic Mountain? Mario Kart Arcade GP DX and Black Ops... 2? Hey we finally got there with Doom Eternal, Modern Warfare, Valve, Blizzard, and Fortnite!
It's Octoberween in full swing around here with Stephen King's and/or Frank Darabont's The Mist and... that's it!
Ryan and Matt are remarkably restrained with the Borderlands 3 this week, and a little less so with Untitled Goose Game, Magic the Gathering Arena, Apex Legends, House of the Dead, Death Stranding, Mortal Kombat 11, and The Last of Us Part 2.
This week it's a 1970s Peter Fonda vehicle that features many vehicles from the 1970s with Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, and a little help (?) from Bumblebee and Hellboy while we're at it.
Get your pinball on with Ryan, Zen, and Yoku, but then also get your Borderlands on, consider also being on about Apex Legends, but do not by any means be on or anywhere near your Destiny.
