Xbox's 2026 summer showcase has come and gone! As per usual, it was a relatively strong showing featuring big reveals and welcome surprises, yet it still managed to put up a few big head scratchers. Fortunately, the good outweighed the bad. For starters, the hardcore Xbox community has deeply yearned for the return to exclusivity. After months of lip service, Xbox is taking action by making Gears Of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution console exclusive. Obviously, that leaves us with many questions! Why these two games? What data do they hope to collect from them? Is Xbox appeasing their hardcore community for enough time to help rebuild the base before transitioning to a fully PC ecosystem? Beyond the strategy updates, we have plenty of good games! Halo, State Of Decay, A Plague Tale: Resonance, Persona 6, a new Spryo, Vivarium, and a chockful of other delightful looking games all made their presence felt. Unfortunately, Xbox has decided for what is technically a third year in a row to round out a showcase on a Call Of Duty game. Combined with a predictably lacking performance by Bethesda and the otherwise strong showcase experiences some serious lows. Last, but not least, we got an extended showing for Gears Of War: E-Day. Did Coalition's return to the essence of this franchise go off without a hitch? We discuss! Over All in the GameAll in the Game is de podcast over games voor iedereen. Het komt allemaal aan bod in All in the Game. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Aha - no i Snake zachowa świerszczyki.(00:00:00) - START!(00:00:07) - Rozgrzewka

God of War Returns, and Wolverine is set for September. But so is every other game apparently. So while we all wait for GTA VI, we can now also wait even longer for Fable. Steam may have been hiding in plain sight as a villain all along, we now look to Lord Gaben for guidance. Spider-Noir is more Groucho than Cagney, but it might work in its favor. And Call of Duty is bringing us to East Asia.

We know many of you are tired of talking about Bungie, and frankly, we're kind of tired of discussing them, too. Then again, we're captive to the news, so blame Sony for purchasing them. On the back of last week's discussion about the end of Destiny 2 comes word that Bungie is planning major layoffs as it attempts to greenlight a new project to develop alongside the ongoing Marathon. And no, Destiny 3 isn't happening. At least not yet. What's next for this beleaguered team? If we're being totally candid and honest, does a future for Bungie even really exist at all? There's lots of other news this week, too, including rumors surrounding Media Molecule's next game, the peculiar re-reveal of the long-in-development Dragon Quest XII, the confirmation of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and its October release, trouble surrounding PlayStation 3 emulation on Linux, The Witcher 3's new expansion coming more than a decade after the last, Persona 4 Remake's surprise South Korean games rating, and much more. Then: Listener inquiries! Are indie games treated more softly than AA/AAA games when it comes to reviews? What could the drastic increase in SteamDeck pricing mean for PlayStation 6? Is former Sony second party partner Quantic Dream doomed? Why would anyone try to talk about Sacred Symbols with Magic: The Gathering nerds? This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23, 2026, launching the same day as PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This marks the first new Call of Duty game on Nintendo hardware in years, and it could be one of the biggest third-party tests for Switch 2 yet. Tonight, we're breaking down what Modern Warfare 4 on Switch 2 means, why day-one support matters, how crossplay could change the conversation, and whether this is the start of a real third-party shift for Nintendo. Activision says Modern Warfare 4 is being built for current-gen hardware, with the campaign centered on a conflict on the Korean Peninsula and a new version of DMZ included.
