I got to sit down with one of my favorite teachers of A Course In Miracles (ACIM for short) and talk all about her 46 years of applying these teachings in her life and that of countless others.    Hold on to your seat, my friend, as this conversation will take you for a spiritual ride that I hope helps you to release guilt, forgive everyone (including yourself), and manifest miracles.   What is ACIM? It's a retraining process in reorienting how we approach everything. We're brought up to think we're separate (we're not) and that the material world is as it is. The material world is not material; it's formed based on our thoughts. The physical world mirrors our inner world, a picture of our general state of mind. Your world and relationships are a 360-degree mirror. ACIM is an unlearning device to help undo faulty thoughts and become more loving, generous, kind, and compassionate.   Words of Wisdom: You are in charge of your life. We don't want to defend ourselves, contrary to what we think or how we were raised. Our inherent presence remains innocent no matter what. What I see in others, I fear in myself. Everyone's doing the best they can. We focus obsessively on the past and present, but the truth is that there is only now to be helpful, of service, and loving. Every second is brand new, clear, and clean. Forgiveness is the key; it's not about pardoning someone. It's letting go of our guilt and grievances. Guilt invites disaster. Do not make your emotions the enemy. We've been taught that our emotional nature is a stepchild to be banished. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Lesson 132: I loose the world from all I thought it was. In this segment we will explore Lesson 132, which states, in part: “This is the central thought the course attempts to teach. Not everyone us ready to accept it, and each one must go as far as he can let himself be led along the road to truth. The equivalency of giving and receiving is emphasized throughout A Course in Miracles.
