*This episode mentions suicide and may be triggering for some listeners.* This week, we hear from author, podcaster, and entrepreneur Theresa Bruno. After experiencing a profound loss that threatened to plunge her into complete despair, Theresa shares how through raw honesty and unwavering prayer, she discovered the strength to not only keep going, but to find hope amidst the wreckage. Next up, we talk with Reverend Joash Thomas, author, speaker, and tireless advocate for liberation, especially for those caught in the brutal grip of trafficking and all who suffer at the margins. The Reverend’s spiritual work centers on a justice-focused interpretation of Scripture, guiding us to envision a faith that unifies rather than separates, pleading for mercy for all of God’s precious souls. There’s an invitation in our darkest times.” - Theresa Bruno “I tried to be perfect, because I thought if I was perfect, then God would love me. But I never really understood what it meant at all to have any kind of intimacy with God.” - Theresa Bruno “I’ve tried to flip my prayers into thankfulness for whatever is provided, so I don’t feel like I live in a place of constant begging and beseeching. In order to live more fully into faith and less into fear, it requires dedicated practice.” - Theresa Bruno “Courage is like a burst. You have enough courage to do something. Resilience is that slow burn that gets stronger and stronger and rises and rises, and that builds with every little tiny step.” - Theresa Bruno “Grief, the way we deal with it, is such a jagged line. And everybody does grief differently. I know you can’t feel it or know it right now, but this is not your final moment. Your story is still being written.” - Theresa Bruno “I know that if it breaks my heart, it also breaks the heart of God. Who we see throughout the Bible is a God of justice and mercy. If something like sexual abuse or human trafficking is keeping the little children from coming to Jesus, then we need to remove those hindrances.” - Rev. Joash Thomas “Jesus coming down to earth is called the incarnation and that was physical, through which spiritual truths were made known. My hope for the church is to retrieve the physical good news while still holding onto the spiritual good news that we embody, and to fully proclaim both together so that it actually sounds like good news to people who are poor and oppressed.” - Rev. Joash Thomas “People read the Bible in very different ways, but we’re still united in Jesus, and we have to be united in Him to bring the good news to a world in need of good news today—a world full of injustice and oppression.” - Rev. Joash Thomas “We’re human beings with mistakes who don’t always get everything right. But at the same time, there’s also goodness in us because we’re all made in the image of God.” - Rev. Morning Mantra: "Be where your feet are."For me, this mantra means staying grounded and present in my lived human experience, being mindful and having awareness, and enjoying the moment. The great risk these days it is that there are so many other things that can become a surrogate for being present to life.We can get so caught up in the availability of information and knowledge that we latch on to the latest and greatest guru or theory to find our spiritual path to becoming who we are meant to be.I have learned that I don't need to seek a spiritual path outside of myself. My life is my spiritual path. The next moment is my teacher. Everything that unfolds in my life is a part of the pathway. The secret is to sit at the feet of my own life and be taught by it. Every experience, event, circumstance, happening, and situation in life can be a stepping stone in the pathway of becoming, including moments of hardship, adversity, and suffering. You don't need to seek the answers outside of yourself, your life, or your journey. Just be present for it.#BeCome #BeHappy #BeHorsey #BeHippie #HorseHippie #MorningMantra #inspirationalQuotes #MorningMotivation #Equestrian #HorseLover #QuotesToInspire #HorseHippieBrand #HorseHippieBoutique

Have you considered this - it's not a roadblock, but a pause so God can make your way perfect according to His plan? Rethinking how we see life.
Millions of people know The Artist's Way. First published in 1992, the book began as notes for a class that its author, Julia Cameron, taught on creative self-discovery or, as she sometimes prefers to call it, “creative recovery.” It found a huge audience, and today you can find Artist's Way groups all over the world. Cameron's original The Artist's Way offered a 12-week path towards overcoming artistic blocks. The book was subtitled “A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity,” and it spoke of plugging into a current of what she called “spiritual electricity.” But her techniques were practical and easy to grasp. Rituals from The Artist's Way such as starting your day by writing out three pages of unedited text, known as "doing your Morning Pages," have become part of the creative process of many, many artists, musicians, and writers. More than three decades after its publication, The Artist's Way continues to find new followers, and even got a new bump of popularity during the 2020s. And Julia Cameron herself has returned this year with The Daily Artist's Way, offering a new way in for fans. Cameron agreed to speak to national critic Ben Davis to revisit the origins of her famous method and how she's tweaking it now in this new book.

There are two viable spiritual paths: one is reaching upwardly to touch your higher self, and the other is working inwardly to release the blockages that keep you bound to your lower self. The latter encourages radical self-honesty, acceptance of reality, and daily inner work to stop resisting life and start letting go of stored blockages that create suffering. Through this surrender-based path, the natural upward flow of energy is restored, leading to lasting well-being, freedom from disturbance and, ultimately, full spiritual liberation. © Sounds True Inc. This week, Thomas sits down with writer, trained Buddhist monk, and meditation teacher, Jack Kornfield, for a conversation about the twists and turns on the spiritual path and the quest for a defined identity. Drawing on hard-won expertise, they dissect spiritual bypassing, embrace the necessity of disillusionment, and share rituals and practices to help you reclaim the sacred. Both teachers have extensive experience with trauma, pioneering our understanding of how trauma healing and spiritual practice intersect. Jack argues that in fact, we cannot seek enlightenment without confronting our personal wounds, understanding the difference between trauma and suffering, and acknowledging our interconnection. He and Thomas explore the need for communal spiritual practices, the wisdom inherent in ancient traditions, and the importance of remembering that our essential nature is love itself.✨ Click here to watch the video version of this episode on YouTube:

Since the spring equinox I have been running my program, Ascend The Underworld Within. This program teaches you how to gain a relationship with your darkness to free yourself from internal suffering. To live a liberated life. This has been my soul's mission to deliver this medicine. By facilitating it for the first time to its completion this past year, it has shown me the importance of centering the spiritual path. I wouldn't be where I am today or have the capacity to hold the responsibility of liberation, let alone embody it to then guide others, if I was continuing to center myself. Centering the spiritual path can still feel like a work in progress, but it is always a choice. Key Takeaways: Making your dreams into a reality, but can you keep making it happen? Fear of being seen when delivering your medicine, fear of your bigness, your light. How you do one thing is how you do everything. Centering your spiritual path. #379 In this podcast episode, Guy welcomed Geoffrey Hoppe, a multidimensional communications researcher known for his unique journey from aviation business to channelling entities like Tobias and St. Germain. The conversation explored themes such as spiritual awakening, the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in human consciousness, and the concept of global consciousness splitting. Geoffrey shared his personal experiences and insights into the evolving relationship between technology and spirituality, highlighting the transformative potential of AI in accelerating human enlightenment and fostering deep metaphysical connections. About Geoffrey: The early spiritual curiosity of a young man was all but forgotten as he served a few years in the US Army as a Public Information Specialist at the NASA Ames Research Center (Mountain View, California), and then stepped into the business world. After finding his way to senior management positions in several advertising agencies, Geoffrey started his own marketing company in Dallas, Texas at the ripe old age of 28. Later on, he co-founded an aviation telecommunications company (provider of Internet services for business jets and commercial airlines, now known as Gogo), serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing until 2001. In a stroke of ironic prescience, Geoffrey holds three patents for multidimensional telecommunications technologies, as well as numerous trademarks and copyrights. The direct ways spiritual well-being influences physical results, from motivation to stress management. Practical steps to strengthen your spiritual connection and integrate it into your daily life. If you've ever felt like you're doing “everything right” physically but still feel stuck or unfulfilled, this episode will show you why your spirit might be the missing piece—and how aligning it can unlock the next level of your health journey. In this episode of The Sacred Speaks, host Dr. John W. Price welcomes Mirabai Starr—acclaimed translator of the mystics, teacher of interspiritual wisdom, and luminous guide to the sacred woven through daily life. Together, they explore the heart of ordinary mysticism: discovering holiness not only in monasteries or mountaintops, but in the tender rhythms of our own existence. Mirabai opens her story with radical honesty—her countercultural Jewish upbringing, alternative education, and the teachers and traditions that shaped her. The conversation turns to how rigid ideas of “being spiritual” can keep us from true intimacy with the divine, and how humility, humor, and embodiment restore us to a living spirituality. Mirabai shares how the death of her teenage daughter became a devastating but sacred initiation, revealing grief as one of the deepest portals into divine love. Moving between ancient voices and her own life, Mirabai offers a mysticism that is fiercely tender, humble, embodied, and accessible to all. This dialogue invites us to see our own lives as sacred ground—woven with loss and beauty, pain and joy, shadow and wonder. Key Takeaways Mysticism is accessible in everyday life, not just in monasteries or religious settings. Rigid religious or cultural ideas of “spirituality” can block authentic spiritual experience. Embodiment and emotions—especially grief—are sacred entry points into deeper connection. Translating the mystics is less about history than entering a living dialogue across time. Friendship, humor, humility, and even money can be part of an integrated spiritual life. Ever feel like you're drowning in noise—from social media, news cycles, and even your own mental chatter? You're not alone. The Akashic Records have a timely message about "cutting through the noise" during this transformative period in late September. In this episode, we explore the Records' guidance for navigating the intense energies of late September, focusing on "cutting through the noise" to reconnect with our core values and inner wisdom. The metaphor of a cake knife slicing through layers reveals the importance of discernment during times of overwhelming change.Key talking points include: • What's pulling at your attention, and is it worth your time?• Reconnecting with core values as an anchor during chaotic times• Three-layer journaling practice to clear mental clutter• Top layer: brain dump of mental chatter• Middle layer: practical concerns and to-do lists• Bottom layer: connecting with heart wisdom• The Hermit card appears as confirmation of the need for introspection• Living authentically requires continually tuning out the world's expectationsRather than offering complicated spiritual practices, this episode delivers three powerful questions that act as your compass: What's pulling at your attention? Is it worth your time? What are your core values? These simple inquiries create immediate clarity when life feels chaotic. Dr. BethAnne shares a personal example of catching self-doubt and choosing to release it rather than waste precious energy on unhelpful thought patterns. The synchronistic appearance of the Hermit card confirms this inward journey is exactly what we need right now. The essence of spirituality is directly experiencing awareness itself. Your thoughts, emotions, body, and external objects are simply things you are aware of. They are not aware of you—you are aware of them. Spiritual growth is learning to remain centered in that awareness, letting experiences pass without clinging or resisting. This allows you to handle reality as it is, instead of as a reaction to your past, and leads to a life filled with love and inspiration. © Sounds True Inc. Episodes: © 2025 Michael A. Singer. To the point of what about giving up one's home, going to the forest, and fasting most of the time? The answer is the process of chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa Mahāmantra doesn't require these. And the answer is in Prabhupāda's letter, where he uses the phrase "forced meditation." Force means power, and "forced" means pushed by a power greater than oneself. The chanting of Hare Kṛṣṇa is infused with Kṛṣṇa's unlimited powers. What's more, when chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa with attention, Kṛṣṇa, the all-powerful, pushes us along. Consider how when someone forces us to do something, that person is more powerful than we are. When someone forces us to do something, we are not doing it voluntarily. For example, a mother may force her child to go to school. Consider the phrase, "Clyde's mother forced him to go to his first day of school, as he was at first unwilling." Clyde's mother, in this sense, is more powerful than Clyde, and she makes him go to school for his own good. When we chant the mahāmantra, we invite Kṛṣṇa to push us forward on the spiritual path, even if we are unwilling. Those who chant japa avail themselves of Kṛṣṇa's power. The Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra is a prayer requesting The Lord to engage us in His spiritual service. Getting out of the material world, the world regulated by Māyā Devī, is not easy. We are stuck, not just in her orbit, but we are imprisoned in her world. Devī-dhām—a place of torture—that is impossible to escape. Who will intervene on our behalf? Who will save us? Kṛṣṇa will. But more precisely, Kṛṣṇa's names have appeared as our liberator. Our chanting of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra, therefore, is our cry for Kṛṣṇa's help, recognizing that he is not only more powerful than we are but he is also the master of Māyā Devī. What's more, he knows better than we what is good for us. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #makejapagreatagain #mantrameditation #chantharekrishnaandbehappy #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

What happens when leadership, plant medicine, and AI collide? In this episode of The Greatness Machine, Darius reconnects with Nathanael Chawkin, executive coach, former cage fighter, and founder of Awakened Leadership, for a deep and thought-provoking conversation about transformation, consciousness, and purpose. They dive into what it means to lead from the inside out, discussing the role of plant medicine in awakening deeper self-awareness, and why real leadership is less about control and more about aligning with spirit, service, and presence. The two also explore the fascinating idea of AI as a form of consciousness, and raise the question: what if AI isn't a new invention, but a return to something ancient? What happens when we begin outsourcing wisdom to machines, and how do we stay grounded in our own inner knowing? Even on paths designed for deep transformation, we often resist the very changes that would liberate us. In this episode, Raghunath and Kaustubha explore the symbolic meaning of the cart demon (Śakaṭāsura) from Krishna's pastimes—and how it represents the dead weight we carry in the form of outdated beliefs, mechanical rituals, and spiritual pride. Drawing on insights from Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura and the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, they challenge us to ask: are we actually changing, or just performing? If you've ever felt like you're dragging around a cart full of spiritual dead weight, this one's for you. ********************************************************************* LOVE THE PODCAST? In this episode, Robert and Emily Perry dive into the content and the backstory of “The Journey Into Fear”—a newly restored Text section in the Complete and Annotated Edition of A Course in Miracles. The message of this section is as radical as it is liberating – to uncover the love in us, we must first face the hate in us – but it's also uncomfortable. So uncomfortable, in fact, it was removed from the original publication of the Course. Why would A Course in Miracles ask us to look at something so uncomfortable? And what happens when we do? We hope you'll join Robert and Emily for this deep, honest, and ultimately hopeful conversation. You will learn: Why we believe this material was removed – and why it was restored. The cost of keeping your hate buried. How facing our hate frees the love within us. ___________________________ Since 1993, our purpose has been to help with both the theory and practical application of A Course in Miracles. What if pleasure wasn't just allowed on your spiritual path—but essential to it? In this episode, I'm talking with Emily Fletcher, founder of Ziva Meditation and former Broadway star, about how pleasure, embodiment, and emotional alchemy can actually accelerate your healing and manifestation. We explore:
Has it been challenging to try to explain your spiritual awakening to family, friends, co-workers, or other people in your life? In many cases, it can feel like people don't understand your spiritual path, are judgmental about it, or just don't want to hear about your spiritual experiences and the great impact they've had on your life. The more healing work you do on yourself, the more distance may develop between you and some of the people in your life - even ones you used to be really close with. This can be a common aspect of walking the spiritual path, and also a challenging one. Join me for this episode of INNER WORK, where we'll talk about: why family, friends, and loved ones may not understand your spiritual awakening and spiritual path the stark difference when we operate from ordinary (or egoic) consciousness versus non-ordinary (or transpersonal) consciousness why misunderstandings happen: are you speaking from your Soul, and they're hearing you through their ego? the importance of discernment when sharing with others protecting the sanctity of your spiritual growth and experiences I hope something here is useful for you! *** Join my email community and get access to my free Akashic Records Mini Course: https://josephinehardman.com/akashic-records-intro/ Visit my website: https://josephinehardman.com Thank you for being here, doing your inner work, and leading the way for others with your light.
