All four episodes of the Creek Cup series are officially live on YouTube — and yes, they dropped out of order (episode four first, naturally). Click the playlist link below to watch them in the right sequence. In this episode of T-Time, Tori and Ashley are joined by Aubrey, the editor behind both the Desert Classic and Creek Cup series, to pull back the curtain on what it actually takes to turn hours of raw golf footage into a four-part series. Aubrey was on the ground at Bandon Dunes for the first time, racking up 20,000 steps a day while wrangling cameras, voice-noting clip numbers, and somehow capturing one of the most unbelievable moments of the trip — April's hole-in-one on a par three playing 155 yards into the wind. Her second career hole-in-one, by the way. And yes, someone ended up in the ocean because of it.The conversation gets into the full production process — from Aubrey's 20-page pre-production document and cast profiling based on Desert Classic footage, to the post-production challenge of meshing everyone's creative vision as a self-described non-golfer. They also talk about what makes YouTube golf such a massive content category, why the Creek Cup format worked so well on camera, and what they'd do differently next time (GoPros in the carts, for starters). If you haven't watched the series yet, head to the playlist link — and if you find them even remotely interesting, share it with your golf crew!Making of The Creek Cup: Bandon Dunes - PlaylistThe Making of the Desert Classic: 2026 - PlaylistWatch this podcast episode on YouTubeThe Good Vibe Studios is a women-owned and operated creative studio space based in Phoenix, and built for podcasters, photographers, videographers, and entrepreneurs. In today's episode, we're sitting down with Justin Klemballa, the coach behind the Breaking Bogey program and one of the sharpest voices in golf instruction, to talk through his recent trip to the Masters at Augusta National. This was his first time back inside the gates in 16 years.Justin walks us through what it's actually like to spend a week at Augusta: the patron experience that no other venue in sports gets right, the $3 pimento cheese sandwiches, the free parking on acres of club-owned land, and the traditions that make the Masters feel like a world of its own. We also break down the moment that defined Rory McIlroy's career Grand Slam — the slice into the trees on 15 and the birdie that followed — and what his comeback tells us about identity, self-belief, and the stories we let run on the first tee. From there, Justin gets into the framework he uses with every Breaking Bogey student: the PAR Method; three letters that change how you practice and how you score. He shares the Tin Cup tournament story that taught him to choose what he remembers, the 25/75 short-game ratio that flips most amateurs' practice on its head, and the $4 foot-powder trick that exposes more swing flaws than any video lesson.Justin's Previous Episodes: 136. Greg opens the show in classic chaotic fashion, introducing Minnie Hunt and newly “promoted from the group chat” co-host Fred Sacco while accidentally throwing random images on screen. The conversation immediately derails into a surprisingly gourmet debate about breakfast pizza: Fred's version features bacon, egg, herb Havarti, dill, and green onion on a bakery sourdough crust from Omaha; Greg counters with a fully homemade crust (rolled out with a Louisville Slugger), smoked cheddar, bacon, sausage, and scrambled eggs. Minnie is offended she wasn't included in the earlier breakfast-pizza “cabal,” then tries to steer them toward “fruit pizza,” triggering friendly mockery and more donut-and-gas-station talk (including Casey's breakfast pizza snobbery). The show pivots to Bill Moos' book The Crab Creek Chronicles, where Moos describes heavy meddling around the Scott Frost hire, claims Frost wasn't eager for the job, and allegedly asked Moos to convince the team to play the 2020 bowl. They also touch on Moos exploring a return to the Big XII, and debate how fans, boosters, and administrators “run the zoo.” Later, they cover Nebraska's two NFL Combine invites, discuss Rhule being quieter lately, and worry about special teams continuity post-Ekeler. They recap strong Nebraska basketball despite an overtime loss to Purdue, joke that Minnie is “bad luck” when she watches, preview baseball's Desert Classic, then close with a “blind rankings” game of iconic Husker moments, housekeeping, and playful Wisconsin “besmirching.”

Pushing past my comfort zone in golf has always been a challenge, but with the help of the ever-amazing Colorado Hall of Famer Kim Eaton, I went on a journey that led me all the way to the USGA Mid-Am. Today, Kim and I are reflecting on how entering some of those more intimidating tournaments can actually elevate your game. I talk about my commitment to compete in the Arizona State Match Play Tournament despite initial hesitations. One thing stays pretty consistent: The friends we make and the personal insecurities we overcome at these events always end up being as rewarding as the game itself. Kim had a packed summer. From one tournament after another–from the Senior Match Play in Colorado to an unforgettable win at the state Mid-Am–Kim gives us an insightful blow-by-blow account of her prep work all through to the end of each match. Finally, we talk about the ins and outs of organizing large golf events, and weigh the pros and cons of various locations to create the most memorable experience possible for all participants! If there's anything to take away from this episode, it's the literal game-changing power of having a mentor at your side. And that if you don't have one yet, it's time to put yourself out there and feel the pressure of tournament play! When my mom accepted the invitation to join us for the 2024 California Crush Invitational, I knew it would be an unforgettable experience. My sister Alix joins me today to reflect on Mom's first-ever golf tournament experience and the lessons women golfers can take to heart through her example! From Napa to Tampa, Mom's unique challenges as a first-timer speak to the women out there who are thinking about taking the leap into their first tournament, but for one reason or another, they are holding back–whether due to a higher handicap index or otherwise. With Mom being a casual golfer by nature, Alix and I never felt prouder witnessing her achieve her first birdie! She adapted beautifully to the formalities of an 18-hole match, thanks in no small part to the supportive environment we were immersed in throughout those two amazing days!Of course, it wouldn't be a conversation with Alix without a diversion into the latest golf fashion trends (can you say “wide-leg pants”?). After a quick discussion on said trends, Alix and I wrap things up by talking about the power of connecting with like-minded individuals who share our passion for women empowering women out on the course!Connect with Alix:InstagramCheck out Alixandra Collections, Alixandra Blue, and Ali:ShopAlix.comOur 30-Day Swag Giveaway is happening now!! Today I'm sitting down with mindset coach and hypnotherapist, Paul Salter, to get his unique insights on using hypnosis to elevate your golf game. Paul defines hypnosis as “a state of deep relaxation with the intention to make positive change”. A skilled hypnotherapist can help anyone silence their inner critic, and directly connect with their subconscious mind to unlearn limiting beliefs and. This, in turn, allows new, more productive beliefs to take their place. Asked how golfers can harness the power of hypnosis to take their game to the next level, Paul reminds us that “there is no shortage of mental and emotional hazards on the course.” Coming up against those hazards triggers negative self-talk, which naturally nurtures self-destructive behaviors that ruin your chances at a great, fun round. To golfers struggling with emotional control, Paul demonstrates how hypnosis can significantly boost performance and align you with your best self. Paul goes on to explain how to cultivate a winning mindset, create confidence on demand, enhance emotional resiliency, and effortlessly find flow and fun out on the course. As a bonus, we also touch on finding success both as a golfer and as a parent–at the same time! About Paul SalterHaving personally coached over 2,500 clients, Paul Salter is an expert in helping you get out of your own way by stopping self-sabotage at the source. With an extensive background working with elite Collegiate, Professional, and Olympic athletes as a Sports Dietitian, his unique coaching system leverages 15 years of coaching with an emphasis on hypnosis, subconscious reprogramming, mindset shift training, and proven strategies to help you unstuck yourself. The result: You break through limiting beliefs, overcome mental roadblocks, and conquer the fears holding you back from unlocking your full potential.Connect with Paul: Scratch Golfer's Mindset PodcastInstagram"X"Free Hypnosis MP3 Recording: HereNewsletter: HereEmail: paul@unstuckyourselfmindset.comDon't forget about the T-Time Swag Giveaway! About Mark MilatzMark never anticipated becoming a caddie. What a fun episode we have today with Evan Singer and Matt Cermak from The Par Train podcast joining us. We are filling you in on 5 ways you can be miserable on the golf course – this is a must-listen! Key Highlights: Expecting what you do on the range to happen on the course. A warm-up is just that: a warm-up. Your best swing or putt is an outlier, not an average. Trying to shoot your best score. When was the last time you actually shot your best score when you “tried” to shoot your best score? Don't reinvent a past victory. Instead, recommit to earn a new victory. That is, don't look at the finish line. Focus instead on the process—the journey—that will result in a win. Trying to impress others. Since we're only human, we can't help but care what others think; but, when we let the opinions of others influence our performance on the golf course, we end up doing worse than if we just put aside that insecurity. Assume you won't make mistakes. Just because your last round was perfect doesn't mean this round will be perfect. Golf is a game of recovery. Don't get too high, and don't get too low. Take care not to rest on your laurels after every good shot and beat yourself up after every bad shot. If you get too high, you create unnecessary pressure on yourself come the next swing; and if you get too low, you gradually lose the confidence and motivation to go on. I'm back with Scott Fawcett, founder of the DECADE Course Management System, to get the ins-and-outs of his unique approach to breaking 80 this summer! This time, we're really getting into the weeds of course management strategy. Scott highlights the limitations of traditional stat tracking and the benefits of focusing on metrics that truly reflect your game, while examining the relationship between putting and overall scoring. We discuss the power of keeping a “mental scorecard” and why it's so important to have a clear intention for each shot. For golfers averaging scores in the high 80s, tracking meaningful metrics like greens in regulation and redefining what constitutes a successful tee shot can lead to performance optimization. We dive into distance measurement next. Get Scott's expert insights on using launch monitors with your specific golf ball to pinpoint true iron distances and eliminate outliers. Learn how PGA pros like Aaron Wise use this data to make strategic adjustments, leading to more consistent, reliable shots. Finally, we're exploring how speed training systems like the Rypstick and TheStack can take your swing speed to new heights! Whether you're a club-level player or an aspiring pro, Scott's Decade system offers a simplified approach to understanding the complexities of the game, helping you play smarter, not harder. We then take a deep dive into putting performance, breaking down the concepts of tracking putts and strokes gained. Professor Mark Broadie's strokes gained method offers a nuanced, step-by-step approach that goes beyond just counting total putts. Scott and I end the first part of our discussion with our thoughts on the types of mental health challenges faced by golfers at all levels. We explore the emotional and psychological strains of the sport, using drawing on our personal experiences to highlight the importance of having a support system to keep you afloat. Today, Justin Klemballa and I discuss the importance of smart decision-making on the course, showing that: while drills and strategy make a huge difference, a strong mental game often trumps technique in shaving strokes off your score. Ever found yourself floundering in a fairway bunker? Justin spills the secrets to training the often-neglected bunker shot even if you lack access to a venue that allows you to practice them effectively. We talk about turning recreational rounds into practice sessions, and why aiming for bogey might just be your ticket to a lower scorecard. I'm sitting down with Alix and Christie who look back on their very first Masters experience at The Augusta National, covering everything from navigating the event's strict no-phone policy to its luxurious invite-only dining experience, to their treasure hunt for collectible gnomes at the Pro Shop! From the get-go, it's clear that the Masters is as much a social event as it is a sporting one. We discuss the trend towards shorter skirts as opposed to traditional, longer lengths as comfort takes center stage when it comes to fashion choices on the green. In a similar vein, we acknowledge the “elevated, classy” attire everyone wore that gives the Masters its exclusive flavor. We also talk getting starstruck by the endless sea of great golfers around us, and the shopping spree that had us questioning if we were at a golf tournament or the world's most exclusive outdoor mall! I'm sitting down with Bo Watson and Shannon Shuskey, whose book In the Zone Secrets unlocks the profound connection between the mind and athletic performance. Listen in as we explore the mental strategies and techniques that can take your golf game to the next level, even when you're off the green. From the concept of “caveman golf” to harnessing the power of mental imagery and entering the “zone,” Bo and Shannon prove that mastering your mind might just be that missing link between where you are now and where you want to be. Bo and Shannon also offer practical advice on how busy players can optimize their game in as little as 30 minutes a day, leveraging the creativity of the right brain for optimal performance. They talk about how mental imagery not only assists in skill improvement but also serves as a tool for managing tournament anxiety. About In the Zone Mental Training: In The Zone Mental Training is the world's first mental program backed by science that helps athletes get into the zone at a flip of a switch. Shannon Shuskey's accidental discovery of these training principles in the 90s led him to go from a struggling skater to becoming a National Champion and Record Holder. When Bo Watson met with Shannon in the Summer of 2018 and learned the reason behind the success of his system, he wanted to see if it could work for golf too. To test it, he went out and played a total of 8 rounds in 2018 cold turkey (no practice between). The result was 6 out of the 8 rounds were under par and the last round was 9 holes where he shot 4 under with 3 lip out birdies.
