He's been in the program for awhile and is now finding ways to give back to the mission. He says the success rate of safe and stable housing is 87% with the program. Leo talks about why he sought care with the Housing Plus Program and how they even helped him break down what he needed to do with a thirty step plan. Ervin found the Union Gospel Mission online after suffering profound losses in his family. He was worried about feeling lonely within the program especially after losing his twin brother but when he arrived at the community with other veterans he was lifted up. Not only were his basic needs met but was also provided with a path to his own housing, he has now been there for three months.
