If you plan to visit Walt Disney World in February, be prepared for a month of mixed-temperature weather for your vacation. While the end of winter may be getting closer, it's not here yet (even in Florida), but there is still some good news for your February Disney vacation. Weather Forecast for Walt Disney World in February 2025 The forecast for February at Walt Disney World is for daytime highs that will range from 66°F (19°C) to 82°F (28°C), with nighttime lows between 46°F (8°C) and 63°F (17°C). Given that this is getting closer to spring – but winter is still hanging on – these ranges are not unusual. On average, February 2025 is expected to be a little cooler than normal, but at this point forecasters are not anticipating another polar vortex to put a chill on your vacation. February will start pretty warm during the day and taper off a degree or two by the end of the month, but overall, it is looking to be a pretty stable month for temperatures. Rain, on the other hand, is a different story. Some rain is in the forecast, but it shouldn't be a huge problem, unless you are traveling the week of February 16. This week looks to be a little unsettled, but hopefully things may change (which is pretty common in Orlando). The last week of the month is forecast to be the sunniest week. What to Pack for Walt Disney World in February 2025 February 2025 is shaping up to be very much a day and night packing month. This means you'll want warmer weather outfits for the daytime and cooler weather outfits for the evenings and nights. Shorts, t-shirts, dresses etc. should work well for most of the month during the warmer daytime hours. For evenings you'll want to bring a light jacket, hoodie, pants, leggings and so on, whatever you like to wear to keep the chill away. It's those transitional times in the morning where you'll have to decide what to wear if you head to parks first thing in the morning. It might be chilly then, but it will warm up later. So, will you brave the morning cool in shorts? Or will you bring a layer that you'll have to shed and carry around for the rest of the day? What's Happening at Walt Disney World in February 2025 The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts continues until February 24. So, if you want to plan a special wardrobe for this event, that can be fun. Another important event to note is that the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is scheduled for February 20 to 24. This is a fun event for participants, but it can cause havoc with your travel schedule and getting around. Bear that in mind if you're visiting at that time. And, of course, it's Valentine's Day on February 14, so if you're there at that time then appropriate Minnie attire is usually a big hit!Shop at 1923 Main StreetThank you for listening to the Disney Travel Style Podcast at 1923MainStreet.com.Shop unique and original Disney-inspired clothing, including t-shirts, sweatshirt, hoodies, dresses, swimwear and more at 1923 Main Street.Follow along on X, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook.Thank you for listening and have a magical day!Mike Belobradic and Amelia Belobradic--Media provided by Jamendo

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts gives us an opportunity to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Disney on Broadway. We'll look at the history of this amazing theatrical portfolio, which began with a "Tale as Old as Time" whose roots were more than 30 years ago at what was then Disney-MGM Studios. Today there are over two dozen major shows that have played on Broadway, The West End, and across the globe. I'll share with you some of my favorites and why--along with some stories you may not have heard about these phenomenal shows. And we'll step over to Epcot to talk about a new exhibit that has just opened up at CommuniCore in World Celebration. It's just one component of a very popular time of year in this park. If you are starting 2025 with a visit to Walt Disney World, here is what you can expect from the weather and special events that will affect what you should pack and wear for your Disney vacation. How to Dress for January Weather at Walt Disney WorldJanuary 2025 Weather in Orlando will be on the Cooler Side, but Not Too Cold Most DaysJanuary at Walt Disney World is a month that is typically not very hot, at least in terms of Florida weather. It is the middle of winter after all. However, if you're traveling to Walt Disney World in January 2025, it is looking like it's going to be a pretty good month in terms of weather as it applies to visiting theme parks and doing other Disney things. Special events at Disney World in January might impact your vacation depending on where you're staying and what you plan to do. Take note that the Walt Disney World Marathon runs from January 8 to 12, 2025 and the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts takes place from January 10 to February 17, 2025. The marathon in particular can cause travel disruptions onsite, so be sure to check for more information about that, if you plan to visit Disney World that weekend.Weather Forecast for Walt Disney World in January 2025The forecast for January 2025 at Walt Disney World is pretty good for a typical January. The forecast is very similar to the pleasant December that just took place and should be good for a winter vacation to Walt Disney World. Yes, it's cool, but most days are not downright cold, making them pleasant for being out and about. For January 2025, Orlando and Walt Disney World daytime highs are forecast to range from 54°F (12°C) to 73°F (23°C), while nighttime lows will hover around 48°F (9°C) to 64°F (18°C). Almost all days, however, will be in the low 70s°F or upper 60s°F.On a positive note, there is very little rain forecast for Disney World in January 2025, so that is a bonus for your vacation. As always in Orlando, however, be prepared for at least one errant pop-up shower just for good measure. What to Pack for Walt Disney World in January 2025While the Christmas holiday season will extend for a few days into January, packing for a January Walt Disney World vacation does not include festive wear.If you are a shorts and t-shirts person (or any of the top five most common outfits for Disney Parks), these should be fine for daytime in January. Otherwise, pants or leggings and a long-sleeve top or light jacket will do just fine. If you plan to spend time outdoors at night, then a hoodie or light jacket is a good thing to bring along. Sometimes it can be windy in the parks at night and that adds a bit of a bite.If you plan to visit the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, feel free to get inspired with a themed outfit for the occasion.Watch for the biggest crowds during the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend. There are six races in total and with road closures and so on, it can be a challenge even getting out of your hotel. Check ahead and be prepared, because if you have an early flight that weekend and you are staying at a hotel on a marathon route you could miss your flight if you don't plan for the delays. All in January, January 2025 is looking to be a great month for a Disney vacation. As always, check the weather forecast for Orlando on a local Orlando weather media outlet the day before you leave for your vacation. That will give you the most up-to-date and accurate vacation forecast.Contact 1923 Main StreetThank you for listening to the Disney Travel Style Podcast at 1923MainStreet.com.Shop unique and original Disney-inspired clothing, including t-shirts, sweatshirt, hoodies, yoga leggings, dresses, swimwear and more at 1923 Main Street.Follow along on X, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook.Thank you for listening and have a magical day!Mike Belobradic and Amelia Belobradic--Media provided by Jamendo
