We're continuing our March Magic 2026 series as we shift from rides to resorts and build the ultimate Walt Disney World Resort Bracket. We've ranked and seeded 24 resorts from across property — including Deluxe, Moderate, Value, and even Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve — to determine which one truly deserves the crown. Using a mix of guest ratings, along with our own experiences, we evaluate each resort based on theming, amenities, dining options, location, transportation, and overall guest satisfaction. From iconic favorites like Polynesian Village Resort, Wilderness Lodge, and Beach Club, to fan-favorite values like Pop Century and Art of Animation, every resort earns its place in the tournament. We break down the full 1–24 seeding, highlight which resorts earned a first-round bye, and set up some very interesting opening matchups — including value vs deluxe battles, sleeper picks, and a few potential upsets that could shake up the bracket early. Along the way, we debate controversial rankings, question whether location outweighs theming, and discuss which resorts we think have the best chance to make a deep run. Which Walt Disney World resort is truly the best? Which ones are overrated, underrated, or primed for an upset? Let the madness continue! Download the bracket

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the flagship hotel of Walt Disney World, and one of the premiere resorts among Disney owned hotels. Nearing its 40th year of operation in 2028, and having been through a number of major remodeling changes, how does this signature property compare? I've invited former Disney resort leader, Vance Morris, to spend some time with me on site where we look at the many offerings of this unique hotel, so proximate to Magic Kingdom. We take the time to consider the performance and challenges of its Cast, its grand Victorian setting, the processes which support a Disney-owned resort operation, as well as its many services and amenities. Is it worth the price? Let's discuss as we provide you an operational review of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. ____________________________________________________ Disney Insights YouTube Page--Check it out and subscribe. On this episode of **Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast**, Remy and Mike are steering the show through another magical (and hilarious) Florida adventure!Remy kicks things off by sharing his latest trip to **Magic Kingdom**, where the wait times were through the roof — we're talking hours for rides that usually move fast. With lines stretching farther than Main Street U.S.A., Remy decided to skip most of the attractions and soak in the atmosphere instead. After leaving the packed park behind, he made his way over to the **Grand Floridian Resort & Spa**, where the energy completely changed. Inside the elegant lobby, he caught up with his friend **Jeremy**, who was performing beautiful live piano music that filled the entire hotel with Disney charm. While at the Grand, Remy explored the brand-new bar, **The Perch**, an elevated and modern addition to the resort's classy lineup of lounges. However, there was one small letdown — no tequila on the menu! As a self-proclaimed margarita man, Remy couldn't help but joke about the lack of his favorite spirit while enjoying the relaxing vibe of this new Floridian hangout.Next up on **Ride of the Week**, Remy revs things up with a deep dive into **EPCOT's Test Track**, discussing its high-speed thrills, design innovations, and what makes it such an iconic part of the park's futuristic spirit. From its sleek cars to its exhilarating 65 mph finale, this attraction remains a must-ride for adrenaline junkies visiting EPCOT.To close out the episode, Mike takes Remy over to Disney's **Boardwalk Resort**, where the duo dined in style at the signature restaurant **The Flying Fish**. Between the elegant ambiance, the mouthwatering seafood dishes, and the high-end service, Mike's grand total came out to **$138** — but the experience was absolutely worth it.So sit back, relax, and enjoy this flavorful, fun-filled episode of **Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast**, where every stop in Central Florida brings a new story, a few laughs, and a whole lot of Disney magic!
We're stepping into the lap of Disney luxury for another epic round of Resort Wars — and this time, it's an all-out battle between elegance and refinement as Disney's Riviera Resort goes head-to-head with Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. From European artistry to Victorian grandeur, we're diving deep into what makes each of these Deluxe destinations truly magical in its own right. We'll explore every corner and category, starting with theming and atmosphere — is it Riviera's intimate boutique charm or Grand Floridian's timeless opulence that captures the crown? Next, we'll unpack the rooms, from Riviera's clever Tower Studios and sprawling villas to Grand Floridian's newly refreshed spaces inspired by Mary Poppins Returns. Both deliver comfort and class, but in very different ways. Then it's on to dining — and let's be honest, this round alone could fill an entire podcast. We're comparing Topolino's Terrace and Primo Piatto to Victoria & Albert's, Citrico's, Narcoossee's, and more. From rooftop character breakfasts to Michelin-worthy cuisine, the food fight is fierce. We'll also talk transportation, where the Skyliner's breezy charm goes up against the monorail's Magic Kingdom convenience, and recreation, where Riviera's quiet sophistication faces Grand Floridian's live music, fireworks, and full-service spa. Finally, we'll weigh in on value. Whether you're planning a romantic couples' getaway or a bucket-list family stay, this showdown helps you figure out which resort best matches your Disney style, budget, and vibe.So grab your latte from Le Petit Café or a cocktail from Enchanted Rose, and join us as we debate, laugh, and share insider stories from two of Walt Disney World's most stunning resorts. It's Riviera versus Grand Floridian — modern European charm versus classic Disney royalty — and the results just might surprise you.

This is the Live Call-in Show from this past Wednesday afternoon, February 26, 2025! Mike was flying solo as he jumped on since he missed the Sunday night show due to the State Cheerleading Championships. Today, Mike discusses something he has noticed over the past month at Walt Disney World. It's something Apple uses in their software cycle that they call a "tik/toc" cycle, and I think that maybe Disney has adopted this "for the short-term" in the theme parks, and I like it! We also get some calls about future discounts on the hotels at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, as well as previews for trips to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Disneyland this next week! We all know that a Walt Disney World vacation is magical in its own right, but have you ever wanted to add a little extra style to your stay? Big and Small, 11 Ways You can Add Extra Magic to Your Next Disney VacationWhether it's your first time or your tenth time, you can elevate the style of your Disney World vacation by adding a little extra magic and style (with something for every budget). The Top 11 Ways to Upscale Your Walt Disney World Vacation with Style Here are 11 easy ways to add a little extra style and flair to your Walt Disney World vacation, they're not all cheap, but there is something here for every price point and Disney travel budget. Want to Do Your Walt Disney World in Style so that Everyone Feels Extra Special? Why not surprise your travel party with one or more of these 11 Disney travel style experiences? 1. Limo Service $$ Ever since Disney's Magical Express disappeared, guests have had to pay for their transportation to and from Orlando International Airport. A great way to elevate the style of your Walt Disney World vacation is to start at the beginning: with a limo service from the airport to your Disney resort hotel (and back again). You have to pay for transport anyway, so for approximately $200 round trip (give or take a little) you can ride in style and really have a great experience. 2. Stay in a Deluxe Disney Resort Hotel $$$$ - $$$$$ One of the easiest ways to elevate the style of your Disney vacation is to stay in a Disney Deluxe hotel close to your favorite Disney Park. There really is a noticeable difference between Disney Value Resorts, Moderate Resorts and Deluxe Resorts. From a more magical ambiance, to dining, amenities and park proximity, staying in a Disney Deluxe resort hotel can definitely elevate the style of your Disney World vacation. There are Deluxe Resorts at different price points as well, so consider this awesome surprise for your travel party, who will definitely feel they've upgraded their Disney style. Warming: Please note that it may be very difficult to downgrade your Disney resort hotel category after experiencing a Disney Deluxe Resort.3. VIP Tour or Backstage Experience $$$ - $$$$$ A great way to do Disney vacation in style is with a VIP Tour or other backstage experience or tour. Not only will you feel extra special on any guided tour, but this is Disney Parks style in its finest form. I mean, you get a lanyard (and sometimes more), so that says traveling in style right there…right? There are many tours from which to choose (from the ultra-premium VIP tour, to more price-friendly park-themed tours), so be sure to check them out and book in advance as they can fill up quickly.4. Disney Club Level Accommodations $$$$$ Staying in a Disney World Deluxe Resort is one thing, but you can elevate that experience even further if you really want to go in style. By choosing a Club Level room at a Deluxe Resort, you'll open up a whole new world of upscale style – from Club Level Lounge offerings to private Club Level Concierge's – that will really put the style meter to a whole new level. 5. Lightning Lane Premier Pass $$$ If a VIP Tour is not in your budget, the next best way to add a similar style experience to your vacation is with a Lightning Lane Premier Pass. With this pass, you and your party can use the Lightning Lane for every single attraction in one park, one time each, for one day, without having to make any reservations. Sound great? It can be and it's a good way to do a Disney Park in style. 6. Disney Fireworks Cruise $$$ Don't feel like standing in crowds to watch fireworks or the nighttime show at Magic Kingdom or EPCOT? No problem, do it in style by booking a fireworks cruise experience. Boats can hold up to 10 guests and you are chartering the entire boat, so if you have less than 10 guests this can really feel like the ultimate in Disney style. 7. Grand Floridian Spa Experience $$-$$$ Nothing says going in style like a relaxing time at a spa and the ultimate spa experience at Walt Disney World is located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa (it's right in the name!). With an elegant Victorian style and a relaxing garden-inspired atmosphere, you can elevation your Disney vacation time with a spa experience that suits your style. There are even couple's offerings and something for your 14-17-year-olds if you they go with you. Relax and recharge in style after a day in the parks. 8. Stay in a Disney Deluxe Villa $$$$ - $$$$$ While a Disney Deluxe Resort is a worthy style elevation, you can take it in another direction by booking a Disney Deluxe Villa. With a Deluxe Villa, you'll get all of the amenities of the Deluxe Resort, but your room (studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom or three-bedroom) will be more like a vacation villa or condo than a hotel room. Relax in style with your own kitchen/kitchenette, dining area, laundry facilities and more. Make your Walt Disney World vacation a villa vacation (and you don't need to be a Disney Vacation Club member to book one). 9. Create Your Own Disney Popcorn Mix $ Want to go in style with your snacking? Who needs the same old snacks that any Disney guest can buy when you can custom create your very own Disney popcorn? This is a fun and inexpensive way to elevate your vacation snacking style. You can find this unique experience at the Kernel Kitchen in Magic Kingdom Park (where the old hat shop used to be in Town Square). 10. Capture Your Moment $$ Photo memories from Walt Disney World are classic, but you can take your in-park photo experience to the next level by booking a Capture Your Moment photos session in your favorite park. You'll definitely feel special during this experience and you'll come away with lifelong photo memories and a magical time! Search “Capture Your Moment” on the Disney World website. 11. Aerophile Hot Air Balloon Ride, Disney Springs $ If you want to elevate the style of your Walt Disney World vacation literally, then a hot air balloon ride at Disney Springs is definitely worth it. This is super fun on clear days and at night (if you time it with fireworks, you're in for an extra special treat), as you get some amazing views and photos from 400 feet in the air. Instead of just watching the Aerophile balloon soar over Disney Springs, why not surprise your group with an experience they'll never forget. The balloon holds 29 people, but there are times when it's not full to capacity, which makes it even more magical. Definitely a unique way to experience the world in style.Shop at 1923 Main StreetThank you for listening to the Disney Travel Style Podcast at 1923MainStreet.com.Shop unique and original Disney-inspired clothing, including t-shirts, sweatshirt, hoodies, dresses, swimwear and more at 1923 Main Street.Follow along on

This week, we're looking at our end-of-year top five lists 2024 for Disney travel style. What were the most popular colors and styles of clothing here at 1923 Main Street? Find out what our buyers put in their carts most often.1923 Main Street: The Top Fashion and Style Trends from 2024When it comes to deciding what to wear, do you ever feel like you're stuck behind a group deciding what to order at a quick service counter? Don't worry—you're not alone. To help shed some light on our buyers' most popular choices, we've delved into the data to uncover the top five clothing items and colors our buyers couldn't get enough of in 2024. Think of it as your cheat sheet for looking stylish on Main Street — Cinderella Castle in the background, churro in hand. Plus, we'll share the most-loved episodes from the 1923 Main Street Disney Travel Style Podcast — spoiler alert: there was a definite topic that mattered most of all.So grab your Mickey or Minnie ears and let's get started. Top Five Most Popular Casual Clothing Items in 2024Here are the top five casual clothing items that 1923 Main Street customers have been buying to rise for rope drop, hop between parks and relax to the flash, bang and symphony of fireworks.1. T-Shirts: Still the MVP of Disney travel outfits. T-shirts remain the ultimate in comfort and style. Pair with just about anything and you're ready for everything.2. Hoodies: When the sun sets and the temperature drops, hoodies swoop in like Peter Pan to save the day. Bonus points if you have multiple colors and graphics for every occasion.3. Sweatshirts: Proving you all love a cozy, versatile layer our sweatshirts were a top three items for customers in 2024.3. Swimsuits: In a bit of a surprise, swimsuits tied with sweatshirts for third place. One-piece swimsuits had a slight edge over bikinis, with men's suits after that. Remember, swimsuits aren't just for swimming, but also for poolside selfies.5. Dresses: From breezy sundresses to chic retro looks, dresses were a surprise hit in 2024. Easy, comfortable, and oh-so-Instagrammable—they're practically magic. Top Five Casual Clothing Colors of 2024: T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, HoodiesEver wondered what shades our Disney-loving fashionistas couldn't get enough of this year? These colors dominated the 1923 Main Street casual clothing style scene:1. White: The clean, crisp look that pairs perfectly with every accessory. Our customers confirmed that the classic white tee is still a wardrobe staple.2. Black Heather/Dark Heather: Because who doesn't love a little drama? This color was perfect for subtle Disney designs or minimalist looks. These dark heathers displaced plain black t-shirts, which did not crack the top five in 2024.3. Light Pink: A shade that screams princess without actually screaming it, light pink tees were the surprise hit of 2024. And why not? They're perfect for strolling through any park with confidence and style.4. Ash, Natural: Neutral tones that go with everything, from your favorite sneakers to that ice cream bar that accidentally dripped. 5. Maroon: Rich and regal, maroon brought the “royal” to our collection in 2024. Top 5 Most Popular Disney Style Podcast Episodes of 2024We know that you love to talk about Disney travel style as much as we do, but which topics were you most interested in hearing about? Here are the top five 1923 Main Street Disney Travel Style Podcast episodes you listened to the most this year:1. What to Wear to 1900 Park Fare: Cinderella might bring the glamour, but you asked us what you should wear to feel equally magical with the reopening of this iconic character dining experience inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.2. What to Wear to Walt Disney World in March 2024: March weather can be as unpredictable as a Pirates of the Caribbean splash, but you knew where to turn for advice. We do what to pack and wear episodes for every month, every year, but March was by far the month that got the most attention.3. What to Wear in Spring at Walt Disney World: Spring is all about florals and breathable fabrics—because nothing ruins a castle photo like overheating. Hot on the heels of the March what-to-pack-and-wear episode, the Spring episode was our third most listened to topic of 2024.4. The Ultimate Packing List for Walt Disney World: The holy grail of episodes for anyone unsure about what to bring. It's no surprise that this general (but important) topic made the top five. And yes, we'll be doing an updated version in 2025, so stay tuned and subscribe to the show.5. The Best Places to Shop for Clothes at Walt Disney World: Turns out, our listeners love a good shopping spree as much as we do. From Main Street boutiques in hotels and Disney Springs, to big shops inside the parks, we covered it all in this episode and you listened to every minute to ensure the ultimate onsite clothes shopping spree. Why It All MattersSubtle Disney-inspired fashion isn't just about looking good—it's about feeling good. The right outfit can take you from “I'm just here for the rides” to “This is my happily ever after.” Whether you're hitting up the parks or just channeling Disney vibes at home, 1923 Main Street has everything you need to stay stylish and comfortable. Here's to making 2025 even more fashionable—because as Walt said, “It's kind of fun to do the impossible,” and looking great after 12 hours in the parks might just count. So, what's your go-to Disney outfit? 1900 Park Fare recently reopened at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and I returned with my family to enjoy the new experience. While some elements of this Walt Disney World restaurant remain the same (Big Bertha as a centerpiece and the return of the famous strawberry soup), the venue takes on a new theme of "wish fulfillment" and some new characters to help guests cast their wishes, including Tiana (in her Tiana's Bayou Adventure attire), Cinderella, Snow White, Mirabel, and Aladdin (as Prince Ali). In this episode, enjoy our live dining review at 1900 Park Fare, where we discuss the food, chat about the theme and atmosphere, and converse with some favorite Disney characters. “Swingers Upon Main - An app for swingers, by swingers… Swingers who love Disney!” Grant and Ash discuss the viral video they created promoting a fake app called “Swingers Upon Main.” The video sent the internet ablaze when it was reposted to X last January, and Grant and Ash soon became the faces of a swinging community that may or may not even exist. After death threats, heated podcast discourse, and even a Rolling Stone article, Grant and Ash learned a valuable lesson about the spread of misinformation and the power of the Mouse.
