False Teachers in the Church
Jude finally starts to encourage his readers to pursue disciplines that will help them focus on ministering to each other in the Gospel.
I will reveal some shocking News about Franklin and how he has betrayed the Christian community.
Message from Andrew Aucamp on September 7, 2025
In Second Peter Chapter 2, we find a sobering warning about false teachers who infiltrate the church with destructive heresies. These aren't obvious enemies of faith but subtle individuals who skillfully introduce harmful teachings while claiming to be followers of Christ. They succeed because they appeal to our natural tendencies, focusing on self-fulfillment rather than God's glory, emphasizing self-satisfaction over holiness, and offering affirmation rather than transformation. False teaching comes in different forms - from outright evil teachings that deny Christ or reject biblical truths, to more subtle watered-down messages that lack substance and depth. The latter never equips believers to navigate life's trials, keeping them spiritually immature. To identify false teaching, we must ask: Who is this teaching about? Who is being elevated? What does it produce in my heart? What does it promise? When teaching focuses primarily on what we can get from salvation rather than glorifying God, it's likely off-track. The most powerful defense against deception is knowing Scripture well. Our transformation through Christ isn't primarily for our benefit but to display God's glory to the world.
Dear Church Following on from the second episode of a new six-part YouTube series in which we are reading out our 2024 book, God Closed Church, this is a follow-up conversation about the importance of recognising the illogical place of 'agree to disagree' that the Church comes to on matters of eternal importance. (All info about the book here).WATCH this podcast here. What of this juncture in world and church history really? Have we not profoundly underestimated the pivotal importance of clarifying true doctrine from false? What of this place of reformatory opportunity that we are standing at?Do we not need a new confession? If you would like to help us to begin a new house church, please see here.Yours in Christ, Nick & Mairi FranksPSOur main giving page is here. You can read a full chapter and learn what this means in this here.

The Ignorance Of The False Teachers
Exposing False Teachers
Introduction To False Teachers
Pastor Jim Osman explores how Peter became an eyewitness to majesty during Christ's Transfiguration, using this divine encounter to refute false teachers who denied the second coming. In 2 Peter 1:16-18, the apostle defends Christ's return through personal eyewitness testimony and Old Testament prophetic revelation. The Transfiguration in Matthew 17 provided Peter, James, and John with a preview of Christ's kingdom glory. Therefore, when false teachers claimed Christ's return was merely "cleverly devised myths," Peter responded as eyewitnesses to majesty who personally witnessed the divine glory accompanying His second coming. Furthermore, this eyewitness account encourages believers that they will share Christ's glory while warning unbelievers of coming judgment. The Christian faith rests not on fabricated stories but on reliable eyewitnesses to majesty who recorded what they experienced. Consequently, Peter's testimony provides unshakeable evidence that Christ will return in power and glory. ★ Support this podcast ★
The Churches of Galatia had gladly received the good news of freedom from the guilt, condemnation, and power of sin that Christ brings to all who trust alone in Christ alone. Through the preaching of Paul they had begun walking in this liberty purchased for them by Christ (in about 46-47 A.D), but within a couple years, false teachers (Jewish converts to Christianity) were promoting another gospel, which was really not another gospel (good news), but was bad news for sinners. It implied that Christ's perfect righteousness and perfect sacrifice for sin were not sufficient for the complete justification of a believing sinner before a holy God. To Christ's perfect work must be added one's own obedience to God's law in order to be declared righteous by God, it was claimed. Paul writes this letter to expose this false gospel of bondage and to expound the true gospel of freedom in Christ.

On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we confront the horrific attack at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. The shooter, Robert “Robin” Westman, once walked those same halls as a student. Years of unchecked mental illness and spiritual rebellion ended in bloodshed.America is in denial. We refuse to face the truth: the transgender movement is built on a Satanic lie. No one can change the sex God gave them. Pretending otherwise doesn't heal broken souls, it destroys them and puts others in danger.Christians must speak plainly. Love does not mean affirming sin or confusion. Love means pointing people back to Christ, who alone gives us our identity. Until our nation repents and turns back to God, tragedies like this will only increase.Pray for the victims and their families.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee
We must make sure we test and try the spirits to be sure they are of God. This means the music we sing, the podcasts we listen to, the preachers who teach us the Bible. We must make sure to test all things, then hold on to the things which are good and just. Don't fall victim to false teachings. Not everything that has a Christian label on it is good for us.
The Character of False Teachers (Jude 1.11-16) Daniel Nealon August 24, 2025 by Deer Creek Church

Sermon from Pastor Jim Stultz on August 24, 2025
In the Old Testament the Lord Himself many times appealed to Israel as His covenanted wife to be faithful to Him and likewise condemned the lovers of Israel who seduced her. Therefore, when we find the Apostle Paul using very strong language in this inspired Letter to the Galatians (perhaps the strongest he uses in all his New Testament letters), he is fully justified in condemning the seducers who were seeking to lead these new Christians from Christ and the truth of the gospel which he preached unto them. It ought not to be shocking to us to hear Paul fighting for the souls of those who are being misled into very dangerous errors and heresies. That's what faithful ministers do—they fight for the souls of those sheep that Christ has given to them to shepherd.

Titus Chapter 1 emphasizes Paul's mission to proclaim God's truth leading to godliness, instructs that elders must be blameless, disciplined, and faithful to sound doctrine, and warns against false teachers—especially those teaching for selfish gain—who corrupt households and deny God by their deeds, showing themselves unfit for good works.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/lets-talk-scripture/donations

The Bible instructs us to evaluate the message of whoever desires to lead us.
Paul writes a letter to a young man that he pointed to Jesus and after accepting him as his Lord and Savior, Timothy joins Paul in his travels as he starts churches and visits the ones he had already established. The point of Paul writing this letter is because there are issues beginning to crop up with the Gentile church in Ephesus and Paul is going to leave Timothy in Ephesus to confront the issues. The transformation that Jesus makes in people when they dedicate their lives to him is amazing! Just look at the one who is writing this letter—Paul! He was so full of himself and who he thought he was until he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. Paul was completely changed from the inside out. He was given a new identity in Jesus and Jesus will do the same for you!
There are different natural disasters and events taking place in our country and throughout the world. As Christians we can find ourselves getting alarmed or frightened by the things we see or hear about, but Jesus tells us to not be troubled. Christ warned us that these things would happen in the last days. This message is a reminder as God's children to not be troubled.Matthew 24, 1 John 2:17-19

Continuing from last week’s episode, Pastor Jack reads quotes from well-known false teachers. When God speaks, He most often does so through His Word. Scripture doesn’t need to be enhanced or expanded—it simply needs to be read, trusted, and obeyed. Yet for many, this isn’t enough. There are those who constantly seek new revelations, hidden wisdom, or a fresh “word” from a so-called special source—hallmarks of what Scripture identifies as false teaching.(00:00) False Prophets and Deceptive Teachings(15:42) Twisted Teachings and False Doctrine(29:27) The Gospel of Jesus ChristCONNECT WITH PASTOR JACK:Get Updates via Text: https://text.whisp.io/jack-hibbs-podcastWebsite: https://jackhibbs.com/ Instagram: http://bit.ly/2FCyXpO Facebook: https://bit.ly/2WZBWV0 YouTube: https://bit.ly/437xMHn CALLED TO TAKE A BOLD STAND PRE-ORDER:https://boldstand.org/DAZE OF DECEPTION BOOK:https://jackhibbs.com/daze-of-deception/ Did you know we have a Real Life Network? One of the counterarguments that is stated when addressing aberrant teaching and the individual engaging in it is that peace should be made, since the individual is a brother/sister in Christ. Rather than engaging the public false teaching of the false teacher/false prophet, we should pray for them and agree to disagree. This episode starts a deep dive into false teachers and false prophets. The Bible says that these will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, blasphemers, despisers of good, having a form of godliness, and so much more. Pastor Jack helps to shed light on what to be aware of, what to listen to, and what to watch out for so that you can avoid being caught up and deceived by these modern-day charlatans.
