The Wildcats put up 386 yards with 78 rushing for 3.1 yards a carry. On defense they allowed 401 yards to the Mountaineers with 203 rushing for 5.1 yards per run. Noah Fifita completed 21 of 32 for 294 yards with two touchdowns. He had a rushing touchdown. UCF fell to 3-5 with their 37-24 home defeat to BYU. The Knights gained 379 yards with 181 rushing for 6.2 yards a carry. Defensively they allowed 480 yards to the Cougars with 252 rushing for 4.9 yards a carry. Jacurri Brown went 8 of 17 for 96 yards and two interceptions.

BYU at UCF 3:30PM ET—BYU improved to 7-0 following their 38-35 home win to Oklahoma St. The Cougars put up 473 yards with 255 rushing for 7.1 yards a carry. On defense they allowed 421 yards to the Cowboys with 269 rushing for 7.3 yards a carry. Jake Retzlaff completed 13 of 26 for 218 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown. UCF drops to 3-4 with their 38-35 road defeat at Iowa St. The Knights gained 414 yards with 354 rushing for 9.1 yards a carry. Defensively they surrendered 530 yards to the Cyclones to 256 rushing for 5.2 yards a carry. Jacurri Brown hit 8 of 20 for 62 yards and two interceptions. He rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

The Cyclones gained 394 yards with 129 rushing for 2.9 yards a carry. Defensively they surrender 354 yards to the Mountaineers with 148 rushing for4.6 yards a carry. Rocco Becht hit 18 of 26 for 265 yards with a touchdown.

Miami Hurricanes quarterback Jacurri Brown is entering the Transfer Portal. Brown has three years of eligibility remaining. The Hurricanes had five quarterbacks on scholarship and it was assumed that one of them would leave the program before fall camp begins. Brown was a part of Miami's 2022 recruiting class. He threw for 230 yards, 3 touchdowns and 3 INT's in '22 as a freshman. He started Miami's bowl game in 2023, throwing for 181 yards, a touchdown and an interception against Rutgers. In hour two, the least surprising news of the day: Jacurri Brown is entering the transfer portal. Cam Ward is raising the bar at quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes. Ward stood out in Miami's spring football game, throwing three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
