Big O is asked about WSVN-7 & Drew Rosenhaus
Drew Rosenhaus è il numero uno tra i procuratori NFL. Una storia fatta di tenacia e voglia di emergere che gli ha permesso di essere leader indiscusso da oltre trent'anni.
Send us a textThe New York Giants' quarterback situation continues to dominate the headlines as multiple reports suggest they are actively exploring their options. Could Matthew Stafford be on the move? A recent report indicates that the Las Vegas Raiders and Stafford's camp have agreed on what a new contract would look like, but now the focus shifts to whether the Rams and Raiders can strike a deal. The Rams are reportedly interested in the sixth overall pick, but the Raiders may be hesitant to part with that valuable draft capital. Meanwhile, veteran quarterback trades don't always work out, as history has shown. From Aaron Rodgers to Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, and Deshaun Watson, big-name quarterbacks changing teams haven't always led to immediate success. However, Stafford is one of the few examples where a trade worked, helping the Rams secure a Super Bowl victory. The Giants also remain linked to Shedeur Sanders, with multiple league insiders convinced the team has their sights set on the Colorado quarterback. That wouldn't necessarily rule out the Giants bringing in a veteran as well, much like when they had Kurt Warner as a bridge quarterback before Eli Manning took over. The quarterback rumors don't stop there. Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk reported that Aaron Rodgers may have reached out to the Giants, an unexpected twist given his current situation with the Jets. While the Giants haven't shown any known interest, Rodgers' potential willingness to take a pay cut just to spite the Jets adds another layer to the speculation. Beyond the quarterback position, the Giants are also in the market for help at cornerback. Reports indicate they are exploring free-agent options, including Byron Murphy Jr. from the Minnesota Vikings. The team's secondary struggled last season, and with Deonte Banks as the only true long-term piece, they need reinforcements. Meanwhile, at the NFL Combine, a health concern arose for top edge rusher Abdul Carter from Penn State. A stress reaction in his left foot was discovered, adding to a lingering shoulder injury from the Fiesta Bowl. Though his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, initially stated that Carter might need surgery, it has since been confirmed that he will not require the procedure. Some scouts believe Carter is still a top prospect, but could this impact his draft stock? Teams will have to weigh the risks before investing a high pick in the talented pass rusher. With the NFL Draft approaching, free agency looming, and quarterback rumors swirling, the Giants have major decisions to make in the coming weeks. Could they pull off a blockbuster trade for Stafford? Will they draft Shedeur Sanders? And what should fans make of the Aaron Rodgers speculation? Stay tuned as the offseason drama unfolds.#giants #nygiants #nflSupport the showAll Episodes are shot LIVE with fan interactions on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, & TwitchSponsor the show at: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/2giantgoofballsInterested in starting a podcast. This weekend, four NFL teams will fight for their chance to play in the Super Bowl. To celebrate NFL conference championship Sunday, we're digging into the 60 Minutes archive and sharing three unforgettable football-themed stories. The movie character Jerry Maguire was largely based on Rosenhaus. Jon Wertheim's 2022 report on the NFL kicker. The Baltimore Bills and Buffalo Bills are two seemingly unstoppable forces set to meet in a battle for all-time. Is this the most hyped NFL Playoff game the crew can remember? And will Stugotz let Lamar Jackson off the hook for every previous playoff struggle if he can go on the road to beat both Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes ahead of a Super Bowl run? Then, the Miami Dolphins haven't won a playoff game since Commanders QB Jayden Daniels was 12 days old. Who's more embarrassing: the Jets or the Dolphins? And was that one game where the Fins scored 70 points this generation's version of the '72 undefeated season? Plus, Greg gives the crew his thoughts on Drew Rosenhaus' statement on behalf of Tyreek Hill and how to feel about Deshaun Watson re-injuring his achilles. Also, Carson Beck is now a Miami Hurricane for somewhere between $3 million and $4 milllion, but is he...THAT good? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Spike Eskin and Sean Landetta had a bit of an on air run-in yesterday. Jerry will have the audio later. We talked about older guys having no problem showering in front of other guys in locker rooms. Gio was scarred as a 19 year old seeing an old man's balls in the locker room. He said he could pick them out of a lineup. A caller said he saw Al Pacino naked in a gym locker room many years ago. Jerry returns for an update, but first a caller tells us he once saw Lenny Kravitz naked and the rumors are true. Jerry has the audio of Sean Landeta on WIP with Spike and it didn't go so great. Jerry has the sounds of Notre Dame beating Penn State in the Orange Bowl. Sam Darnold talked about the wildfires as he played college football out there. Drew Rosenhaus talked about his client, Tyreek Hill, and the drama with the Dolphins. In the final segment of the hour, a caller from Long Island is a Lions fan and wonders if he should pay the money to go to a playoff game.
Hour 1 Notre Dame beat Penn State last night and Drew Allar threw a bad interception late in the game that led to the winning FG. He was visibly upset after the game. Boomer now thinks he'll stay in school another year and Gio said sometimes big decisions are made for you, and that happened to him last night. It's also Wild Card Weekend and we talked about the Chargers at Houston. We also talked about the Steelers/Ravens. Boomer said if the Steelers get blown out, ‘goodbye Russell Wilson'. Jerry is here for his first update of the day, but first Boomer has matzo with BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff on the box. Jerry has audio of Notre Dame beating Penn State. The NFL moved the Vikings/Rams game to Arizona because of the wild fires. Boomer knows four people that lost everything out there. In the final segment of the hour, the Raiders have also fired their GM Tom Telesco. We talked more about the California wild fires. Hour 2 Spike Eskin and Sean Landetta had a bit of an on air run-in yesterday. Jerry will have the audio later. In the final segment of the hour, a caller from Long Island is a Lions fan and wonders if he should pay the money to go to a playoff game. Hour 3 The NFL moved Vikings/Rams to Arizona so the home field advantage is gone for the Rams. Boomer tells us what the players are going through with a big change like this late in the week. Brandon Tierney had some interesting verbiage to describe the Penn State QB yesterday. A caller said ‘Alexa' is saying Penn State won last night, which is incorrect. Jerry returns for an update Cam Newton responds to Jason Whitlock talking about Joy Taylor's ‘big rack' and ‘butter skin'. He also wants to know who Whitlock is sleeping with and what they look like. Jason Whitlock then reacted to Cam Newton. We heard the game winning FG as Notre Dame beat Penn State in the Orange Bowl. Sean McVeigh talked about the wild fires in California. TJ Watt talked about the aura you get winning a Super Bowl. In the final segment of the hour, Peter Schwartz is very calculated when he wants free stuff. Gio can't knock it, the guy has skills. It's a total leech spot. Hour 4 Newsday had Mike Greenberg, the Assistant Bucs GM, on the back cover trying to get him to the Jets. He's a Long Island guy. Gio would be cautious if he were Greenberg. Boomer heard from people in the know that said Roger Goodell would not stand in the way of a team hiring Jon Gruden. A caller thinks the Rams having to play on grass now instead of turf is bad for them. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with news that Pete Alonso's agent made an offer to the Mets and this offer is only for the Mets at the moment. We heard the sounds of Notre Dame beating Penn State in the Orange Bowl. Jim Harbaugh talked about preparing for the game with the poor air quality in L.A. Jags quarterback Trevor Lawrence met the media and talked about Doug Pederson being fired. The Moment of The Day: Jason Whitlock thinks Cam Newton is stupid. Hour 1 The Mets got shutout in game 1 of the NLCS in Los Angeles. Kodai Senga only faced 10 batters and the game felt over when he walked the bases loaded. Starting Senga in the NLDS didn't seem like a great idea, but it worked out. Last night did not work out. The Giants lost to the Bengals last night and they were very boring doing it. They just can't score. Boomer was impressed with the Giants defense, but they were victimized by a team that cannot get into the endzone. The NFC East is not a good division. The Giants had a real opportunity to keep themselves in the conversation for winning the division. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of Howie Rose as the Mets lost game 1. Carlos Mendoza talked about Senga's performance. Jesse Winker gave props to Dodgers pitcher Jack Flaherty. Carlos Rodon will start tonight for the Yankees and he talked about not having social media on his phone. Jerry has the sounds of Joe Burrow running for a 47 yard TD. Daniel Jones talked about the interception he threw in the red zone. The Jets host the Bills tonight in Jeff Ulbrich's head coaching debut. The Cowboys lost 47-9 at home, again. Jerry Jones talked about the beatdown. In the final segment of the hour, Gio thinks the Jets are going to get a boost from the coaching change. Jay Glazer reported that the Jets are going to be a run dominant team tonight. Hour 2 If the Yankees are going to win the World Series, we are going to need a dominant performance from Carlos Rodon. Boomer would tell him to keep his emotions in check and have a pitch sequence he believes in. The Yankees are where we expected them to be. Boomer said he's, ‘positive Boom-Pa'. Gio wonders what kind of series we'll get from Aaron Judge. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer wonders why Malik Nabers was at a concert this week if he couldn't play. Jerry starts with the sounds of Howie Rose as Jesse Winker made a huge baserunning mistake. Aaron Boone has had it with people saying Jose Ramirez is underrated and underappreciated. We heard from Bengals radio as Joe Burrow ran it for a 47 yard score. Caleb Williams threw 4 TDs in London to beat the Jags. Jerry Jones is not considering firing Mike McCarthy in season. In the final segment of the hour, the Giants are going to be looking for a quarterback again. He is so inconsistent, especially at home. They have scored a total of 1 touchdown in the last 4 home games. Titans, Raiders, Panthers and Dolphins will also be looking for a quarterback. If the Patriots get the top pick, they can trade for a boatload of picks. Drake Maye showed some promise yesterday with 3 TDs. He also had 3 turnovers. Daniel Jones will not be the QB here next year. The Giants have no choice but to draft a QB. Hour 3 Boomer started the hour with some complaint about the refs in a Rangers game over the weekend. Whatever. The Dodgers shutout the Mets last night and that's exactly what Dodgers pitchers do, consistently. That is a bad scene for the Mets. Boomer thought the Mets looked overwhelmed at the plate. The Mets need to come home with the series at 1-1. You have to get the split on the road. You can watch the Mets before the Yankees and Jets even start tonight. The afternoon show is going to be at the American Dream Mall today. Haason Reddick just hired Drew Rosenhaus to represent him to get a deal done with the Jets.
