Bible Verse of the Day Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. - 1 Peter 5:8-10, KJV ____________________________ Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. - 1 Peter 5:8-10, NIV

Darrell Castle talks about the ever-growing likelihood of nationwide internal passports being imposed on the once free American People. Transcription / Notes: Vaccine Passports – Keeping Us Safe or the End of Human Liberty? Hello this is Darrell Castle with today's Castle Report. Today is Friday, Good Friday as a matter of fact, April 2nd in the year of our Lord 2021. Since this is Good Friday, then this Sunday is Easter, the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Today, I will be talking about the ever-growing likelihood of nationwide internal passports being imposed on the once free American People. The Castle Family is doing fine this Easter weekend as Joan and I will attend the sunrise service at our church Sunday morning. He lives, we believe, and since he does, we can face tomorrow and the growing Stalinist threat of the new government commonly known as the Biden administration. The family daughter will celebrate Easter in her own fashion in her adopted home of Los Angeles, California. Technological innovation is evident everywhere today, but sometimes progress goes in reverse. When that happens, we forget things like what made us free and prosperous. Sometimes technology inhibits progress and then we become willing to trade our birthright of liberty for a mess of porridge. For example, the New York Governor is implementing the hated cold war, Stalinist, internal passport that prevents freedom of movement within the state of New York. The Biden Administration is contracting with private companies to create a nationwide internal passport system. What do I mean by internal passport? You will need a form of passport like a passport to visit foreign countries, just to travel within the United States. Private firms are obviously being used to distance the administration from the publicity and to avoid constitutional issues. Just as government has long used the tech companies as fronts for the denial of free speech and to enact their censorship and propaganda programs it now will use private firms to prevent freedom of movement within the United States. This is not a theory because it is happening right now. I was introduced to a very simple version yesterday when I received via email, instructions for attending the New York Yankees home opener at Yankee stadium. Arrive early because there will be long lines the email read and no one without proof of both vaccinations or a negative test within the proscribed time period will be admitted. That kind of thing is just the beginning. But it must be stopped and resisted with everything we have. It doesn't matter what you think about the vaccines because that is not the issue. The issue is the acclimatizing of people to the idea that to participate in society they need to comply with government mandates, and obtain government permission. That will create a caste system which we are required to welcome here in America. Naomi Wolf, interviewed on “The Next Revolution” with Steve Hilton puts it like this: “I am not overstating this. I can't say it forcefully enough. This is literally the end of human liberty in the West if this plan unfolds as planned. Vaccine passports sound like a fine thing if you don't understand what these platforms can do…It's not about the vaccine. It's not about the virus. It's about your data. And once this rolls out you don't have a choice about being part of the system. What people have to understand is that any other functionality can be loaded onto that platform with no problem at all. What that means is that it can be merged with your PayPal account. With your digital currency, Microsoft is already talking about merging it with payment plans. Your networks can be sucked up. It geolocates you wherever you go. Your credit history can be included. All your medical history can be included.” Naomi is not the only prominent person sounding the alarm about what is being installed. Marjorie Taylor Greene Republican from Georgia,

Instead of easing, lockdowns are revving back up again. Are they doing any good in slowing the spread of Covid-19, or are they just a placebo designed to make officials - and us - feel like we have some power over the Coronavirus to the detriment of our economy?

Baratunde builds off the last episode of his previous podcast, We’re Having a Moment. He speaks with two esteemed guests, Dr. Phil Goff, who works directly with police departments around the country, and Zach Norris, who works with communities, about ways we can reclaim public safety that don’t always need to involve the police. Show Notes + Links Find Phil @DrPhilGoff and visit Center for Policing Equity and @policingequity on social media. Find Zach @zachwnorris and at zachnorris.com. Visit Ella Baker Center, and @ellabakercenter on social media. Also grab his book, We Keep Us Safe here. Find this episode, a transcript, show notes and more at howtocitizen.com. Please rate and review this podcast and share feedback at comments@howtocitizen.com. Use #howtocitizen on social media. For this episode, here is what you can do. INTERNAL ACTIONS It starts with you. Explore your own relationship to feeling safe and living among your neighbors. Answer some of the following questions for yourself AND in discussion with at least one other member of your community. What do you need to feel safe in your community? What makes you feel unsafe in your community? How do you get to know your neighbors? When was the last time you made eye contact with someone in your neighborhood? When was the last time you talked to one of your neighbors? What can neighbors do to keep each other safe? Has a neighbor ever made you feel unsafe? What happened and what would have made it better? Don’t look away. Get educated on how policing works where you live. How much of your city and county budget go to police. What percentage is this of the total? What rank is police expenditure among top spending categories? Who runs law enforcement in your area? City? County? Sheriff? Chief? Who has hire/fire authority? What is your most local access to law enforcement? Where is the nearest station or precinct? Who is already working on public safety issues where you live? Identify who is responsible for and makes public safety decisions where you live and find out which positions get voted in. When is the next election for these positions in your community and who is running? Good neighbors don’t just call the cops. Know who you call instead of the police. Create a resource you can keep on hand or enter into your phone that looks like this great example from DSMNTL IG account for Washington, DC. Bonus: Create these alternative number guides physically and digitally and share them widely with your neighbors, local businesses, and online. EXTERNAL ACTIONS Work with local groups to help get new policies enacted that we know work. Read Dr. Phil Goff’s Center for Policing Equity Roadmap for Exploring New Models of Funding Public Safety. It’s been requested by over 950 communities, and now people locally are starting to implement the roadmap themselves. Lend your voice to CampaignZero by supporting its nation-wide campaign to end police violence. You can track state legislation on their homepage to see progress. Join or create an event as part of the Night Out for Safety and Liberation on October 6. If you don’t feel comfortable going to or hosting a physical event, host a discussion with your family or online with community based on the NOSL discussion guide. Be a supportive bystander and report police interactions. Download the Mobile Justice App (created in 2015 by the ACLU to help people report on police interactions). According to the ACLU, it is completely within a US citizen’s Constitutional rights to record interactions with the police. *Note that if you do film a crime, you may become a key witness as a part of an investigation. Share your answers with us. Send and email to action@howtocitizen.com. Include “public safety” in the subject line. Former Ohio state trooper Matt Gurwell spent 20-plus years delivering bad news to family members about accidents involving older drivers. Now instead of delivering death notifications, he's helping to preserve family relationships and saving lives with a self-assessment tool called Beyond Driving With Dignity. Matt is the founder of Keeping Us Safe, and Beyond Driving With Dignity is the organization's proactive approach to helping family members and older drivers make their own decisions, but the right decision, about possibly giving up driving. Matt says not all older adults need to turn over their car keys. He explains why and tells us how Keeping Us Safe's self-assessment tool works. Matt also explains why handicap parking spots actually increase accidents and why he dreads having the conversation with his own father about giving up the car keys. The work of Keeping Us Safe has been recognized by the NY Times, NPR, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, NBC News and many other media outlets and organizations. He tells us how sibling relationships are torn apart over a parent's driving in later years, why some older drivers are better than others and why having the older driver make the decision about when to give up the car keys is a big part of how his team convinces the driver to do so. Matt also talks about the connection between exercise and safe driving, he explains how handicap parking spots actually increase accidents and he offers tips on how to evaluate and implement a program to keep your family safe. He tells us why he dreads having the conversation with his own father about giving up the car keys, and he ponders how it will work for him when he has to give up driving after spending so much time on the road as a trooper. To purchase a transcript of this episode please visit this page: TranscriptsLearn more : Keeping Us Safe Music: “Growing Silence” by Ketsa | CC BY NC ND | Free Music Archive
