Send us Fan MailFor decades, the war on cancer has focused on destroying cancer cells directly - with chemotherapy, radiation, and targeted drugs. But what if the future of cancer treatment is not about attacking cancer ourselves...but teaching our own immune system to do it for us?Today we're exploring a new generation of immunotherapies designed to turn the body's own defenses into a precision weapon against cancer.Over the past decade, immunotherapies such as checkpoint inhibitors and CAR-T cell therapies have transformed the treatment landscape for many cancers. But major challenges remain - including limited response rates, treatment resistance, toxicity, and the enormous complexity and cost of manufacturing many next-generation therapies. Our guest today believes the next breakthrough may come from a new generation of personalized immunotherapies designed to activate a patient's own immune system against their cancer - while also being manufactured as an accessible, off-the-shelf treatment.Joining us is Dr. William Williams, MD - President and CEO of BriaCell Therapeutics ( https://briacell.com/ ).Dr. Williams brings more than 35 years of experience spanning academia and the biopharmaceutical industry. He has helped advance numerous medicines from discovery through clinical development, including work contributing to therapies such as Jakafi and Olumiant during his time at Incyte, and multiple oncology programs during his career at GlaxoSmithKline. Before entering industry leadership, Dr. Williams was a researcher at the University of Pennsylvania focused on molecular immunology, receptor biology, and early DNA vaccine approaches.Today we'll discuss the evolution of cancer immunotherapy, BriaCell's Bria-IMT platform, the challenges of treating advanced breast cancer, and whether the future of oncology lies in creating therapies that can truly mobilize each patient's own immune system.#CancerResearch #CancerImmunotherapy #Immunotherapy #CancerTreatment #Oncology #PrecisionMedicine #PersonalizedMedicine #Biotechnology #Biotech #LifeSciences #DrugDiscovery #ClinicalTrials #BreastCancer #MetastaticBreastCancer #CancerVaccine #CellTherapy #TumorImmunology #TCells #ImmuneSystem #MedicalInnovation #FutureOfMedicine #HealthcareInnovation #BiomedicalResearch #Pharma #PharmaceuticalInnovation #SciencePodcast #ProgressPotentialAndPossibilities #PPPShowSupport the show

Welcome to another episode of the People of Packaging Podcast, recorded live right here at the Label King Studios in Salt Lake City. I am your host, Adam Peek, and today we are diving deep into the future of packaging design, consumer psychology, and artificial intelligence. Our guest today is Ankit Dhawan, the founder of Bluepill.ai. Ankit has an incredible background, moving from India to the United States to complete his masters at Cornell before leading product for the global marketing team at Amazon. With over seven years of deep experience in AI, Ankit is solving one of the most frustrating, expensive, and analog processes in our industry: consumer insights and package testing. In this episode, we run a live demo of the Bluepill.ai software using a real-world test case: Miss Essie's BBQ Sauce, a fantastic local brand here in Utah. Here is what we cover:* The Matrix Motivation: The story behind the name Blue-pill.ai and why taking the blue pill means choosing to stay in a perfectly simulated consumer environment.* The $140 Billion Problem: Package testing and market research traditionally cost fifteen thousand to twenty-five thousand dollars per study, taking anywhere from four to eight weeks. Bluepill.ai drops that down to under ten minutes.* Digital Twins and Micro-Personas: How the software uses real human behavioral data, qualitative interviews, and purchase signals to predict exactly how specific demographics will react to your package on the shelf.* The Miss Essie's Shelf Test: We look at the actual heatmap data comparing Miss Essie's to heavy hitters like Sweet Baby Ray's and Stubbs, highlighting packaging strengths like practical dispensers and areas to improve like pale illustrations.* Ironclad Data Security: Why testing your proprietary designs with AI is actually much safer than human panels, ensuring your upcoming product launches never leak to your competitors. We also have some fun debating geography, including my infamous shouting match at the Delhi airport over whether a city of five hundred thousand people actually exists.Ankit's tool changes the game from subjective guessing to objective, data-driven decision-making, allowing brands to iteratively test text orientation, visual clutter, and ingredient transparency for a fraction of traditional costs.Check out the full episode to see the future of package testing in action.Connect with Adam:* LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/adampeek* TikTok: @thelabelkingConnect with Ankit Dhawan:* LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dhawanankit/* Website: https://blue-pill.ai/ This is a public episode. Everyone believes AI will be the next great revolution in human history. But what if the real revolution isn't artificial intelligence... it's consciousness itself? What If Consciousness Is the True Creator? What if the next breakthrough isn't technological at all? What if the next revolution is consciousness? In this thought-provoking episode of F.A.T.E. (From Atheism To Enlightenment), I sit down with internationally recognized scientist, engineer, philosopher, and author Dr. Edi Bilimoria to explore one of the biggest questions humanity has ever asked:What if consciousness came first? For more than a century, mainstream science has largely operated under the assumption that consciousness is produced by the brain. Dr. Bilimoria presents a radically different perspective—one shared by some of history's most influential scientists, philosophers, and mystics:Consciousness may not be a byproduct of matter. Matter may be a product of consciousness.Together we explore:• Is consciousness fundamental to reality?• Does the brain create consciousness—or receive it?• What happens after death?• Karma, reincarnation, and the evolution of the soul• Universal intelligence and interconnectedness• Why science struggles with non-material explanations• Quantum physics and the nature of reality• The role of the heart in consciousness• The future of human awakeningIf consciousness is primary, then everything changes. The way we understand ourselves. The way we understand death. The way we understand reality. And perhaps even the future of humanity itself.Welcome to Your F.A.T.E.Bee • ConsciousBUY THE BOOK: "Consciousness Came First" Amazon: https://a.co/d/02gVx0yz******SUPPORT THE SHOW*** BUY MY BOOK******BOOK BABY: - *Preferred method* Higher residual here.https://store.bookbaby.com/book/mr-pickles-and-maggieAMAZON: Mr. Pickles & Maggie: A "Tail" of True Friendship: Busby, Christy: 9781667811918: Amazon.com: Bookshttps://a.co/d/bsLFPn6**************LEAVE A RATING**** FOR THE SHOW*******Please leave a RATING or REVIEW (on your podcast listening platform) or Subscribe to my YouTube Channel. His company has created a groundbreaking battery technology that could transform energy storage.Unlike traditional batteries that rely on mined metals like lithium or cobalt, SorbiForce's revolutionary non-metal battery is composed entirely of renewable raw materials, including agricultural waste and salts from desalination processes—waste that providers would otherwise pay to dispose of.“We do not need to use mining processes, no mining anymore. So we already mine much more than enough. We should use all those materials that already exist,” Serhii explained. This innovation could have far-reaching impacts. With locally sourced materials, the batteries reduce dependency on mining, simplify supply chains, and lower environmental risks while cutting costs. Additionally, SorbiForce's batteries are inherently safe, non-toxic, and non-flammable. They can even endure physical damage during operation without the risk of fire or explosion.Currently, the company is focusing on stationary energy storage applications. “We were focused from the very beginning on big industrial applications...data centers, critical infrastructure, utilities,” Serhii shared. The batteries have potential for use in home energy storage systems, EV charging stations, and even hospitals, where safety is paramount.Beyond the technology itself, SorbiForce embodies Serhii's decentralized vision for energy independence. He explained, “I think that energy should be decentralized. We are living in an architecture of dependence...crowdfunding, I think, is the most natural way for fundraising for our technology.”SorbiForce has already raised funds through multiple successful investment crowdfunding campaigns. Details of the company's most recent campaign can be found at s4g.biz/sorbiforce, offering a unique opportunity for investors to support this groundbreaking development.A safer, cleaner, and more affordable future in energy storage is no longer a distant idea. SorbiForce is at the forefront of this revolution, paving the way for a world powered by true energy independence.tl;dr:Serhii Kaminsky of SorbiForce leads the development of safer, non-metal batteries from waste products. The batteries are eco-friendly, locally sourced, and eliminate the need for mining processes.Applications include industrial energy storage, critical infrastructure, and home battery systems.Serhii sees decentralization as key and successfully crowdfunds to empower community involvement. His work is driven by a philosophy of freedom to solve global energy challenges sustainably. How to Develop Pursuit of Freedom As a SuperpowerSerhii's superpower is his constant drive for freedom and independence, shaping his approach to solving challenges. “My superpower is a feeling of freedom, you know...to avoid any dependence,” Serhii shared. This passion inspired him to create technology that minimizes reliance on mining, global supply chains, and centralized systems. “It's about creating something new and ending the lack of freedom,” he explained. His philosophy extends beyond batteries to a vision of energy independence that empowers individuals, communities, and nations. When faced with the geopolitical and logistical challenges of energy dependence in Ukraine, Serhii used his love of freedom to mobilize a team of scientists in his homeland to create an entirely new battery architecture. Despite operating in a war-torn region, Serhii emphasized that his team's work represents more than innovation—it symbolizes resilience. As he explained, “Under this pressure...we solve problems for the future. It's not just a battery. It's a new philosophy.”Tips for Developing This Superpower:Step out of your comfort zone to challenge dependency and ignite creativity.Look for solutions that address structural problems rather than temporary fixes.Embrace a long-term vision and focus on empowering others with independence.Let pressing challenges drive you to create meaningful, sustainable solutions.By following Serhii's example and advice, you can make the pursuit of freedom a skill. With practice and effort, you could make it a superpower that enables you to do more good in the world.Remember, however, that research into success suggests that building on your own superpowers is more important than creating new ones or overcoming weaknesses. You do you!Stay Cool This Summer!Guest ProfileSerhii Kaminskyi (he/him):CEO, SorbiForce, Inc.About SorbiForce, Inc.: SorbiForce builds a non-metal battery architecture that combines real-time power stabilization with energy storage in one system. Using carbon materials and a water-based electrolyte, it is non-flammable, sustainable, and designed for local manufacturing in the U.S. The system acts as a “volatility absorber” for AI data centers, utilities, and commercial sites—stabilizing power, storing renewable energy, and ensuring reliable operation of critical infrastructure.Website: sorbiforce.comCompany Facebook Page: facebook.com/sorbiforceInstagram Handle: @sorbiforceOther URL: republic.com/sorbiforce2026Biographical Information: Serhii Kaminskyi is an industrial engineer, inventor, and founder of SorbiForce, where he is building a non-metal battery architecture for modern energy infrastructure. Last time, I talked about the idea that another revolution in photography is coming. This thought is based on my observations across the history of photography. Every few decades—sometimes sooner—some new thing comes out that completely revolutionizes the way we do things—everything from 35mm cameras to color film to the advent of digital photography. There's no doubt we've seen a lot of these shakeups, and that's why I think we're due for another... So what will it be? Podcast Notes: https://www.moneymakerphotography.com/what-is-the-next-revolution/ Photography Clips Podcast: https://www.moneymakerphotography.com/podcast/ Music From the Doctor's Office: https://www.moneymakerphotography.com/music-from-the-doctors-office/
Photography is due for another revolution—and most likely, sooner rather than later. In fact, it may already be underway, and we don't quite see it yet. Why do I think that a revolution is coming? Well, the short answer is because history repeats itself. You see, if you look back over history, photography has gone through several very definitive growth stages. The first camera obscuras were made millennia ago, with the earliest historical mention of them dating to China around 500 BC. Leonardo da Vinci improved on the technology with designs for lenses. Early film creation began in the 17th century, and it was again revolutionized when Niepce created the first photograph using sheet metal and photographic chemicals in 1827... He's not embracing the Republican label, instead calling his campaign nonpartisan.
