Motorists are being urged to update their driver numbers on their car insurance policies. The appeal from AA Ireland comes, as a legal requirement is set to take effect in just a few weeks' time. Many drivers remain unaware that failure to provide their driver number in advance of their renewal date by the 31st of March will mean they cannot renew their car insurance. Despite the importance of this change, there has been little coverage so far. To discuss this further, Alan Morrissey was joined by branch manager of Munstergroup Insurance, Michael Henchy.
