@bjoerlin In recent years Bjoerlin has made a name for himself in the club scene in Stockholm and besides playing at most clubs and underground parties over there he is also one of the two organizers of the new summer festival Bleck Forest. He is also the guy behind the club concept Vamp that last year had artists such as Blondish, Rebelledo, Fango, Simple Symmetry, Manfredas, Autarkic, Marvin & Guy, Terr, Sascha Funke to name a few.

Pleased to welcome Emil K & Chris C to the series this week who's nomadic Fade To Zaire gatherings have cropped up in various London back rooms, studios, garages and pubs since 2012. Last year they launched their own label that looks to reflect their house-not-house, weirdo disco, afro, whatever works style. Multi Culti is full of life, an elaborate project which has sky rocketed, blossoming with musical heritage and a new wave of artists. Red Axes, Clarian, Auntie Flo, Nicola Cruz, Manfredas and many more have all appeared on the imprint. Thomas von Party and Dreems first founded the record label back in 2013, unaware of the course it might take. The two are both independent producers and dj's in their own right, however, together they offer something else entirely. We are delighted to be able to welcome the pair to contribute to our Ransom Note mix series, a duo who need very little introduction.

Not all heroes wear capes. Harry James is the man behind the Snap Crackle & Pop (SC&P) brand well known to Londoners for their consistent delivery of alternative/leftfield dance music performers. The Waiting Room in particular has become a second home for many and line up has already included such legends as Ivan Smagghe, Vladimir Ivkovic, Inga Mauer, Tolouse Low Trax, Cosmo Vitelli, Manfredas, C.A.R., Alex Egan, and many more people, some rarely visiting UK in general. From all of us here at Parabox - huge THANK YOU for that! SC&P has recently launched a record label as well. First release featured an EP from The Junto Club, with remixes from Smagghe & Cross and Khidja and the second by Deeds with some amazing originals and remixed. Harry is also a great Dj and selector, and this is what we are going to try and extract from him in this episode. One half of Roe Deers - Liudas is joining us for the second show of this season. Also locally known as St.Stereo - Liudas is known in Lithuania for hosting his radio show on the most recognised station in the country - Zip FM. The show itself was previously named Prelude (Preliudai) now has officialy changed name to Roe Deers Radio. The station also previously hosted a show by Manfredas for many years. That is not necessarily why you would recognise this duo. Having released their music on Nein and most recently on Omnidisc, they proved that they have something interesting to say. And people are reacting. One of our previous guests - Trevor Jackson included their track "Kukushka" in the top 35 tracks of 2016. An impressive achievement to say the least. Their most recent production is coming on Bird of Paradise new label - Sulk Magic very soon.

C.A.R. or Chloe Raunet surprised everyone with an amazing album titled "My Friend" back in 2014 released on Kill The Dj Records. It is the music we all want to hear on the radio. Mildly obscure, catchy and standing out. Then the remixes came. Manfredas did one for the track "Angelina" and boy what a remix that was. Roman Flugel did one for the track "Idle Eyes" and, well, if you haven't heard this one, then you should stop reading this now and go check it out. Apart from personal productions of excellent quality, you can also hear her voice on productions by Red Axes and Maceo Plex. The unique sonic quality and the style of singing will never come close to anything else. Chloe is bringing her influences in for the second hour of the show, and a few very cool stories as well, following the last selection of the year from our studios.

Heretic aka Timothy Clerkin aka half of Eskimo Twins joins Parabox this month for one of those unusual selections that we all love. A Heretic influence selection full of surprises and tracks you think would not inspire the type of music produced by him, yet it does. Tracks he and the Eskimo Twins duo consisting of of Timothy and Nathan have been spotted and snached by such labels like Relish, Tusk Wax, Days of Being Wild, and more. His remix of Play The Game by Craig Bratley is definitely in my personal Top 10 for this year and I am pretty sure I am not the only one here. His Influence selection comes straight after some new music, some old releases, a premiere and another edit from our studios. The previous one is already supported by Ivan Smagghe, Manfredas, Bird of Paradise, and we have heard our todays guest liked them a lot as well.

The 9th tally on our canvas is taken by yet another legend. Well known in his home country - Lithuania, this person has been making people talk about his performances and events for more than 10 years already. Currently a resident in the best nightclub in Lithuania - Opium, well known around the world for it’s parties, hosting his latest club night - Smala. And last but not least, conquering hearts of DJs worldwide with his productions embellishing Ivan Smagghe’s label Les Disques De La Mort and Thomas Von Party’s label Multi Culti. Having already remixed Moscoman, C.A.R., Headman and Red Axes the only bad thing is that he does not spend enough time in the studio to create more. It is of course Manfredas.

As one of the leading figures behind Multi Culti and Turbo Recordings, Thomas Von Party finds himself in a rather envious position. As a DJ he has played a significant and important role in the Montreal club scene, in 2014 he opened a club, Datcha, which has since gone on to find critical acclaim for its diverse music policy and its cultural benefits to the city. In 2013 he co founded the Multi Culti label alongside Dreems, it is set to release a compilation series titled 'Sun Gaze / Moon Faze' which features a great breadth of music from artists including Moscoman, Manfredas, Kris Baha and more. Von Party himself will also feature having recently begun to dabble in the world of production following an extensive and formative number of years spent DJ'ing around the world.
