Brad Crowell 0:01 Fuck yeah. Lesley Logan 0:05 Welcome to the Be It Till You See It podcast where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring. I'm Lesley Logan, Pilates instructor and fitness business coach. I've trained thousands of people around the world and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt. My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear. Each week, my guest will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and Be It Till You See It. It's a practice, not a perfect. Let's get started.Lesley Logan 0:48 Hey, Be It babe, welcome to your fabulous Friday, right? Oh, fabulous. No, that's not the right FYF. So it's Fuck Yeah Friday. It's just gonna stay that way. And this is where we celebrate a lot of wins, and I love celebrating wins so make sure you're sending them in. We also talk about things that are inspiring, because there's a lot of crap out there, and then sometimes I bring up some crap, but then, like, we educate ourselves. So here's the deal. This one might not actually make you feel good, but we're gonna have, we have two things. I'm not gonna end on some bad note, but so a study found that out of 20 dummies used in a CPR certification course, only one had breast overlays, meaning participants couldn't actually practice on a dummy that accurately portrayed an average woman. So he also found that during a cardiac emergency, bystanders are less likely to provide women with CPR because they wouldn't feel comfortable performing the procedure and touching their breast. When women are blatantly overlooked in tests and trainings like these and others, crash test dummies or defibrillator pad trainings, it is, not only proves to be unjust, it can quite literally mean life or death. So ladies we've got to know this. We need to know we're less likely to receive CPR. And I don't want to say that to scare you. That's not what I'm trying to do here. What I am also trying to do is educate us, right? Because I have done CPR classes like every other year, and I can tell you right now, never in my life it has one of my dummies had breasts on it, and something that I embarrassingly, am aware of as, like, I have a very hard time with the Heimlich maneuver. I have a very hard time finding people's belly buttons. I'm like, oh my God, we were at this restaurant and someone's choking. I'm like, I noticed she's choking at the table. I was about to give I'm like, I know that she doesn't have time, like, and I know how to do it, and I also know that I have the hardest time finding the belly button. And as I got up from the chair and screamed she's choking, a doctor right next door, got up and did the whole thing, and I was thank God for medically trained people. But I just want to say, even as a woman with breast, we need to know these things, so go get trained. We should start demanding these things. You know, if we start doing that, maybe this can change how things are. Lesley Logan 2:41 Okay, so, but because I don't want us to be angry all fucking time because it's annoying. Here we go. This is gonna be so cool. So a grandma does 1575 push ups in one hour, her second world record after planking for four and a half hours. So go grandma. Yep, she racks up a second world record, 1575 push ups. That is insane. She is a grandmother of 12 people, you guys. Here's her name, DonnaJean Wilde, 59, from Alberta, Canada. I mean, this happened last September, but girl, you are impressive. I don't feel the need to have to ever do this. But I actually love that you did it. And I think the more we have records like this from women like you, the more young girls and those 12 grandkids, and the friends of those 12 grandkids can see like, wow, look at all the things that I can do. Look how unstoppable you are. So freaking cool, right? So cool. So anyways, thanks, grandma. Thanks. Thanks, DonnaJean Wilde. Lesley Logan 3:42 Okay, so now let's do your wins. All right. This one is from Jeanne Cho she is an Agency member, and I'm actually super stoked for her. She's a part of our new agency as well, and she's been using the Lesley bot, and it's really fun to see how this bot, who's been trained on 10 millions of my words, has been helping this amazing person out. So, Jeanne, we got two wins to share of yours today. So you'll be our wins today. A client who loudly complained and quit with price increase last spring just came back. I mean, yeah, that's what happens. Because they're like, I went to other places and the cheaper ones aren't as good as you. So, go Jeanne. Jeanne hired a sub to teach when I travel and for the hours I don't want to work, feels like progress. Fuck yeah. Completely booked for the next month. Way to go. Event Marketing Company reached out about a well paid opportunity to provide Pilates at a running event with huge brand sponsors. Even if I don't get it, I'm thankful for opportunities that come my way. Yes, I love that Jeanne, thanks for like sharing that we can be grateful for just having the opportunity come the way, even if it doesn't pan out, I think that's beautiful. Old clients continue to find their way back, and new clients are walking in. Two new clients this week, in fact, and those hours replace my injured two time a week, client who's out for three months, one new client has expressed uplifting appreciation that can't help but make me feel awesome. She had two diastasis repair surgeries and had been declined another studio. She felt the difference after one session and is excited to work together. That is so beautiful. I mean, I hate that she was declined for another studio, but honestly, I also don't mind if a teacher was, didn't feel comfortable that they didn't sell her on something that wasn't going to work for her. So way that I'm glad that she found you. The second new client is a referral. They are college roommates currently, and shows that even students who can't afford Pilates can afford Pilates, and the initial client even took a winter break off, but dutifully came back. Jeanne, look at all these wins. I love it. I think wins can be these little things that just keep adding up, and we have to look for these wins. It can be as simple as someone came back after complaining a month, a year ago. Look at that. It's a win. That's a testament to, like, what you did. Lesley Logan 5:44 Okay, now, one of my wins. So this is a couple months old, but I haven't been able to tell you guys yet, the Accessory Flashcard project, my final deck in the series, was on time. Everything was on time. The entire team. I mean, obviously we should be by now, but, like, we were on time for everything. And the presale went so amazing, and people were so excited. And I mean, their excitement was really what made the whole thing so fun. And the deck is really cute as well. Yes, by now, we should know what we're doing, and we should be on time with things, but the reality is is like, there's always life that lifes in there. And so what I can say is we planned ahead. We put time, block things the way we wanted to, and it actually all did work out like it was supposed to. And I'm currently filming the tutorials for it, and we're going to be done a month in advance, because my assistant and I have been really, really working on like, how do we stay two months ahead? So if I ever get sick or something ever pops up, we can always say yes to things we want to do. So I'm so proud. The win, this is not a small win, of course, the accessory flashcard deck going to presale and going to print, it will be finished when we actually get to hit ship on those things in the summer. But it's not one of those, like, small wins. It's not an esoteric win. It's obviously like a big project win. But what I'm celebrating right now is it's really easy to procrastinate, to postpone, to delay, it's really easy to start a project not finish. No one would have cared, really, if we're like, it's gonna be another six months, everyone. But we worked a year ago at planning this out, and then we made adjustments on this project based on the last rollout. And I think if you can always reflect, refine and continue, then even if we start a new project that has nothing to do with the flashcards, I know the team, and I know how long things take, and we can take that information to make sure the next thing goes off without a hitch. And that, to me, is the win. Like you learn your lessons from the experiences you have. In fact, we actually all learn more from a failure or from a mistake than we do from a success. So I'm just so proud of this team. I'm so proud of all of you. We couldn't do this whole thing without all of you. So just thank you so much. Lesley Logan 7:49 Okay, here's your mantra for your weekend, and then you can go. Rest is my medicine, peace is my birthright. Rest is my medicine, peace is my birthright. Rest is my medicine, peace is my birthright. Babe, you're amazing. Thank you so much for being a listener, and thank you for sending your wins, and until next time, Be It Till You See It.

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHThe movie kicks off with—yep, you guessed it—a yule log. A woman named Dianne shows up and begins vacuuming the floor. There's a knock at the door, and it's another woman claiming her car broke down. Suddenly, her son invites himself in, and we see Dianne get pushed down in front of the camera. Then a masked man appears and comes after her. Just then, the video is paused, and we realize the police are watching the footage. Apparently, Dianne doesn't make it—and she's not the only one. From what I gather, Dianne was cleaning the house for a group of renters who were about to arrive. And they do. All of them end up dead—except one: Zoe. But Zoe is not doing well. And Zoe knows the truth: it wasn't a person that did this. Rather, it was a killer log that floats around and murders people.Speaking of which, a police officer is watching more of the tape when he hears a noise from the evidence room. He goes to check it out—and it's the yule log. He tries to fight back, but the yule log saws off his leg with a chainsaw and blows up the building with dynamite, destroying the tape.Zoe tries to return to normal life, but she keeps seeing the log everywhere and ends up getting fired from her job. The police tell her the case is closed—they're convinced the masked man is the killer. Zoe insists, “No, it's the log!” But no one believes her.Her friend Jakester suggests they get away from it all and spend Christmas on an island. They get in the car—but Santa makes them crash into a tree. A tow truck driver shows up, and he's a total hunk.Zoe starts wandering around this small town, axe in hand, and notices things get oddly brighter when she enters Main Street. She keeps bumping into hunks, but she doesn't have time for that. The first hunk is an influencer named Bo Regards, and he announces, “WE'RE GOING TO GET DINNER!” After the fourth hunk knocks her over, she yells for help. A hunky Christmas ornament shop owner comes to her rescue and brings her inside. She meets his kid and his Nana and learns that the guy—Bert—is a widower. She accidentally knocks over all the ornaments and tries to fix them, but then she gets a text from Bo about dinner plans. Turns out Bo has opened his own competing ornament shop. Unfortunate.Meanwhile, the yule log is on its own adventure. It sneaks into the trunk of a family going camping and proceeds to brutally kill them all.Bo agrees to let Zoe use his helicopter, but it leaves without her. As she walks back to town, Bert and his family pick her up and offer to let her stay with them. She opens up to Bert about what happened, and he's like, “Don't worry—I know just what you need.” He's built a machine that helps people process trauma. And it works. Her life changes. She's full of holiday cheer and no longer afraid of the yule log.Zoe and Bert have a wonderful day together—blowing bubbles by the creek, sliding down a fire pole, etc. Everything seems great—until we see the yule log peeking around a corner. But don't worry—Santa shows up and captures it in a bag. He runs it through a wood chipper, then buries the pieces in a shallow grave and pours cement over it. Looks like the nightmare is finally over.Except… one tiny wood strip escapes. It flies through the air and gives Nana a splinter. They all go inside for dinner, and—don't ask me why—Zoe opens the freezer and sees a mini version of Nana, who invites her inside. Zoe climbs in and shrinks down too. Her ex, Alex, is also in the freezer, working on his boxing skills. (I have no idea, man.)The next day, Nana complains about her stomach—but I'm sure it's nothing. At Christmas dinner, chaos erupts. Nana starts vomiting all over the food and then starts choking. One of the Cards tries to give her the Heimlich when suddenly they're stabbed by a giant tree branch. More branches burst from Nana until her head pops off—and the yule log crawls out from the head hole.Nana Yule Log heads to the town square, where the Yule Log Festival is happening. She lights all the other yule logs on fire, and they begin attacking the townspeople. She tracks Zoe and Bert back to his house, where they discover that the ashes of their loved ones are the only thing that can extinguish the fire. They win! Zoe decides it's best to leave town. But in the end, she returns for the store's grand re-opening—and kisses Bert.

Punkt. Another beautiful day yesterday with temps dropping a bit today. Back into the 60's on Wednesday & Thursday…and maybe getting close to 80° on Friday! In the news this morning, an update on the Pope's condition, more info on the Northside shooting on Sunday afternoon, a charge of child neglect in the Josie Dikeman case will not be dismissed, a unique event is coming to the NFL Draft in Green Bay in April, and a 4 year-old in Wisconsin called 911 after his mom ate his ice cream! In sports, we went over the Big Ten Tournament schedule, talked about tonight's Bucks game against the Pacers, the Packers moves on day one of NFL free agency, and Sam Darnold getting PAID by moving to Seattle. Elsewhere in sports, a look at some of the other big free agency moves in the NFL, Yankees ace Gerrit Cole is done for the season and will be getting Tommy John surgery, and the Brewers announced their post-game concert schedule for the upcoming season. We let you know what's on TV today/tonight & also what's new on New Release Tuesday. Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sports show joined us just after 8am to talk about his reactions to the NFL roster moves. A heroic 9 year-old saved his friend's life by performing the Heimlich maneuver as he was choking on a granola bar and it was all caught on video. Apparently, there's a new way to cook eggs and it takes about a half hour from start to finish. No thanks. Claussen's is now selling just the pickle juice in case you're not interested in the actual pickles, and a pizza place in Australia is going viral for putting orange slices on pizza. We also talked about some of the common dreams people have. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a man who got shot in the leg by his own dog, a woman who got locked in a steam room by a coworker, a town in #Florida named "Taintsville", a woman who locked her lover on the balcony of their apartment & he froze to death, and a man in NH stole a car…got into an accident…and took off his clothes & wandered around in the middle of a highway butt-ass naked. Chaz and AJ had audio from a news report, of a 9-year-old performing the Heimlich manuever on his choking friend at school. Despite the potentially life-saving decision, Chaz says this kid is no hero. (0:00) In Dumb Ass News, a woman was set off by a simple honk, and jumped onto the windshield of another car while threatening to kill the driver. (14:42) A debate has broken out online, between social media influencers and state rep Josh Elliott. Josh was on with Chaz and AJ to explain the proposal is not really about influencers, and is instead a protective measure for consumers. (23:09) Comedian Emily Siero was in studio this morning, to talk about her first ever blind date. Brendan the milkman had called in to Chaz and AJ to invite her out, and Vince Berry was there to chaperone. So, how did it go? (38:06)

LADYLIKE - Die Podcast-Show: Der Talk über Sex, Liebe & Erotik
We finally made it to Christmas Eve! One final show before we are completely off tomorrow morning. No live show, no "Best Of"…just music & commercials. We started the morning off with the news about Biden's pardons, Luigi Mangione's not-guilty plea, the billion dollar lottery winner finally came forward, and another national chain store will be closing it's doors. In sports, the Packers won big over the Saints last night & clinched a playoff spot for the 2nd consecutive year, and we also took a look at the very busy schedule for the NFL the rest of this week. Plus…is there some sort of Jordan Love/Toyotathon connection? We let you know what's on TV tonight and we talked to Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sports show. Also took another look at some end-of-the-year lists, including some of Grubhub's 2024 stats, the most-searched slang terms of the last year, and Google's top trending searches in entertainment. Great story about a quick thinking & acting 2nd grader who likely saved his classmate's life by using the Heimlich maneuver. Still have a bunch of Bowl Games coming up over the next week or so, but an extremely funny moment happened during yesterday's "Famous Idaho Potato Bowl". Talked about some small cleaning projects you can accomplish that could make a huge difference in your house, and during today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a #FloridaWoman who got busted for speeding in a school zone with a suspended license & in possession of drugs…and then bit the arresting officer, a Canadian woman who did some really effed-up shit on the internet, Justin Timberlake's latest snafu, and an MMA fighter who fractured his penis. Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here the host of She's A Small Wonder: A Small Wonder Podcast. Today I the final two episodes of Season 3, S3E23 Safety First, which aired on May 14, 1988. In this episode Brandon claims injury from Vicki's Heimlich maneuver. I had high hopes for this episode especially when Joan told the class they would learn the techniques of performing life saving procedures in class like CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver. We didn't see any of these demonstrated by the students instead we get a lame play about accidents in the home acted out by Reggie, Vicki and Harriet even though she doesn't go to their school but got special permission from her school to participate in the play. and S3E24: When You Hear The Beep, which aired on May 21, 1988. In this episode Jamie starts an answering service for his friends. After most of Jamie's classmates gets grounded from using the phone he decides to charge the kids for an answering service that he and Vicki create. I hope you enjoy these two episodes and I'll be diving into Season 4 in January 2025.

Brandon Nimmo is calling for Mets fans to pack the seats this weekend as the team faces off against Philly, while Evan Roberts gets a little too enthusiastic after the Mets' impressive 9-run inning. Plus, we break down the big "Woj Bomb" — ESPN will be losing one of its key figures. On the football front, Tom Brady is showing significant improvement as a broadcaster, just as Erin Andrews' contract is set to expire. Titans' quarterback Will Levis also makes a notable change, switching his jersey number. In other news, we discuss the effectiveness of LifeVac compared to the Heimlich maneuver, and why the Jets need to 'lay the hammer' to 'flip the script' this season. Lastly, the Yankees clinched a playoff spot, thanks in part to some unexpected help from a flying incident!
Not just a Heimlich tale, a self-Heimlich story.
We really broke down the Phil Simms commercial for ‘Balance of Nature'. Donald Trump is going to be at Nassau Coliseum tonight. What will that do for traffic in the area? A caller said his brother was choking at a BBQ and had to do the heimlich on himself using a chair. One caller had to heimlich 2 different people at 2 different times and had to heimlich himself once. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Mets beating the Nationals as Acuna had 3 hits including his first MLB HR. The Yankees beat the Mariners and Juan Soto homered, which means he's homered in every MLB ballpark. Aaron Rodgers talked about getting some things fixed for tomorrow night's home opener. Jerod Mayo talked about needing more from the Patriots passing game. In the final segment of the hour a caller wonders if you'd rather have the history of the Giants or the Niners?
What a time to be alive. The Mets are up 2 games on the Braves and the Jets are favored by 6 ½ over the Patriots. Luisangel Acuna hit his first HR as a Met and he looked really comfortable. We talked about the Mets team meeting they had Monday and Gio thinks they were delivering bad news about Francisco Lindor's injury. We talked about Aaron Rodgers and getting rid of the ball quickly like Tom Brady. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Mets beating the Nationals big time. Pete Alonso talked about Lindor's injury and how ‘the boys will hold it down'. The Yankees had no problem with the Mariners in Seattle. The Mariners tried a steal of home with the bases loaded and a 3-0 count on Justin Turner. It failed, inning over. Juan Soto homered and has now hit one in every MLB ballpark. Evan Roberts has a rallying phrase for the Giants: ‘Holy Crap'. Evan put together a song using A-I. In the final segment of the hour, ESPN SEC broadcaster Peter Burns had to have the heimlich maneuver performed on him. It took 4 people before it worked. Jerry saved somebody in the newsroom a few years ago and didn't tell anyone. We have a Life Vac here and work and Gio wants it in the studio.
