How important is free will in your life? We live our lives day after day, but we rarely stop to think about the power of our own free will. We can choose everything, from the clothes we wear to the job we want or the people we want to have around. Making free choices has become second nature to us, and we rarely think how lucky we are for that. Having free will is a gift, and not everyone has it. Frank B Shaner was born and raised in Honolulu, I grew up in Kapahulu around Hawaiian Music. His love for this music, unique to any other in the world, led me to a career in radio, where I have spent over 35 years behind the microphone. He produced the Frank B. Shaner Falsetto Contest for 11 years. All proceeds from these events went to support Aloha Festivals around the State. He also recorded “The Adventures of Leimomi”, a Hawaiian satire of turbulent times in 20th century Hawaiian history. For which received the the Na Hoku Hanohano award for best Comedy Album of the Year. In addition to radio, his other passion is painting. It all began on September 11, 2001, when the World Trade Centers were destroyed. I had been covering the news for hours, and when I left I was beyond exhaustion. For some inexplicable reason, I found myself parked in front of an art supply store. I went in, bought, paints, brushes and canvases, then went home and started painting. And I’ve painted every day since. People ask me if I have a style, but for me, style is a prison and technique a trap. I paint what I feel in my na’au and let it come through in various subjects and mediums. Website: “frankbshanerart.com”

Cinthya's paintings were also used as artwork for the albums "Out of Chaos Comes" and "Chaos Continues. "Cinthya's new single was released on December 11, 2020 called "My Heart is a Ghosttown." Produced by Wayne Hussey, the song is like a vision of "50s/60s pop meets the Cocteau Twins meets David Lynch." This is her first song that she wrote, originally a poem, which will be included on her debut solo album planned for release in 2021. www.cinthyahussey.com
