È una notizia da accorpare: il rischio non è solo militare, ma logistico, assicurativo ed energetico.  • KPI logistici dello Stretto di Hormuz.Dall'infografica del Corriere emergono alcuni numeri chiave:• transita nello Stretto circa il 20% del petrolio e gas naturale liquefatto che passa via mare;• circa 1.838 km è la lunghezza del tratto tra Golfo Persico e Oceano Indiano richiamato nel grafico;• 12,2% del petrolio mondiale corrente transiterebbe dall'area;• i prezzi del greggio restano sotto i 100 dollari secondo un altro richiamo della rassegna.Questi dati fanno capire perché il dossier Hormuz abbia impatto immediato su energia, shipping, assicurazioni e inflazione.  • Benzina in salita, ma senza shock immediato da super-oil.La Stampa segnala che la benzina continua a salire; nello stesso tempo viene evidenziato che il greggio resta sotto quota 100 dollari. La candidate de la coalition de gauche, Jeannette Jara (issue du parti communiste) est arrivée légèrement en tête du premier tour de l'élection présidentielle. Elle affrontera au second tour, le 14 décembre 2025, José Antonio Kast (extrême-droite), qui a de fortes chances de bénéficier d'un report important de voix des autres candidats des droites. Comme anticipé par les instituts de sondage, c'est bien Jeannette Jara qui a remporté le premier tour de l'élection présidentielle au Chili. Mais elle a obtenu un score un peu moins important qu'attendu (26,8%), tandis que la droite dans son ensemble a fait un très bon score. José Antonio Kast, nostalgique de la dictature du général Augusto Pinochet (1973-1990) décroche son ticket pour le second tour (23,9%). Johannes Kaiser l'ultra-libertarien (d'extrême-droite lui aussi) est arrivé en quatrième position. À la cinquième place, Evelyn Matthei, la candidate de la coalition de droite traditionnelle est la grande perdante de ce scrutin. Ensemble, Matthei et Kaiser ont réuni environ 26% des voix. Tous deux ont appelé hier soir (16 novembre 2025) à voter pour José Antonio Kast, qui se positionne ainsi comme favori du second tour, explique notre correspondante à Santiago, Naïla Derroisné. «Ce sera l'élection la plus importante de notre génération. Ce sera un choix entre deux modèles de société, a asséné le candidat d'extrême-droite après l'annonce des résultats. Le modèle de l'actuel gouvernement et qui a conduit le Chili vers la destruction, la stagnation, la violence et à la haine. Et l'autre projet, le nôtre, qui parle de vérité, qui promeut la liberté, l'espoir et le progrès !», a-t-il martelé devant ses partisans.  Pour Jeannette Jara en revanche, le scénario du second tour est beaucoup moins favorable. Car les autres candidats de gauche n'ont pas obtenu de résultats suffisants pour espérer un report de voix qui pèserait dans la balance face au bloc de droite. L'ancienne ministre du Travail du président Gabriel Boric va donc devoir adopter une nouvelle stratégie pour élargir sa base électorale. Elle pourrait annoncer sa démission du Parti Communiste (où elle milite depuis son adolescence) et qui n'a cessé d'être un frein lors de sa campagne, explique Naïla Derroisné. «Quasiment la moitié des Chiliens et des Chiliennes n'ont pas voté pour moi, c'est vrai. Mais ils et elles n'ont pas voté non plus pour Kast ! Et c'est à eux que dès demain nous irons parler et que nous écouterons attentivement», a réagi Jeannette Jara dimanche soir. Elle pourrait chercher à séduire notamment les électeurs du candidat populiste Franco Parisi, arrivé en troisième position (19%).   En Haïti, le sort des familles contraintes de quitter Port-au-Prince à cause des gangs En Haïti, les gangs contrôlent près de 80% de la capitale, selon l'ONU, et imposent leur loi dans des zones comme Bas-Delmas, Croix-des-Bouquets, Mariani ou encore Gressier. Des milliers de familles sont donc forcées de fuir Port-au-Prince. Menacées par la violence, certaines ont trouvé refuge dans le département du Sud, où elles tentent tant bien que mal de reconstruire leur vie, expliquent-elles à notre correspondant Peterson Luxama. Si ceux qui retrouvent leur ville natale arrivent parfois à se réadapter, d'autres, sans attaches ni soutien, vivent dans des conditions extrêmement précaires. C'est le cas de Dany, un octogénaire qui erre dans la ville des Cayes et dort à même le sol à la belle étoile. La violence des gangs a coûté la vie à ses deux enfants. «Les bandits m'ont chassé et j'ai atterri ici. Je n'ai personne pour m'accompagner, je suis seul. Je fais mon petit lit à même le sol sur la place avec des draps que la mairie m'a offerts», témoigne-t-il. Face à l'afflux croissant de personnes déplacées venues de Port-au-Prince, le maire de Saint-Jean-du-Sud, Dupont Estimé, reconnaît l'ampleur de la crise et les moyens limités de la commune.  «Certaines organisations ont l'habitude de soutenir les déplacés, salue-t-il. Elles exigent toutefois le respect de certains critères, comme la présentation d'une liste accompagnée des cartes d'identité des bénéficiaires», ce que n'ont pas toujours les déplacés. «Nous ne pouvons pas repousser ces personnes ni demander qu'on les chasse, poursuit le maire. Tant que ces personnes vivent paisiblement, elles resteront ici jusqu'à ce qu'un changement permette à tout le monde de rentrer chez soi», conclut-il.   L'Équateur dit quatre fois «non» aux référendums proposés par le gouvernement «No», le mot s'affiche à la Une de la presse équatorienne... C'est la réponse des électeurs équatoriens aux quatre questions qui leur étaient posées, ce dimanche 16 novembre, par référendum, par le gouvernement de Daniel Noboa. Une «première défaite électorale», souligne Primicias. Un «net revers» pour le pouvoir en place, selon La Hora. Un «coup dur», même, pour le président de droite, estime le journal Expreso, qui souligne la forte participation : 80% des électeurs sont allés voter, notamment les jeunes. «Le pays ne cautionne pas le projet autoritaire de Noboa», estime le quotidien, pour qui les électeurs ont refusé de donner un chèque en blanc au président pour réformer la Constitution. Le site Vistazo rappelle que les électeurs devaient décider s'ils souhaitaient réduire le nombre de parlementaires (non à 53%), mettre fin au financement public des partis politiques (non à 58%), changer de constitution (non à 61%) et autoriser à nouveau les bases militaires étrangères dans le pays (non à 61%). Les États-Unis n'étaient pas mentionnés directement, mais c'est bien ce pays qui aurait pu être invité à réinstaller des bases militaires en Équateur, notamment pour lutter contre le trafic de drogue. C'est ce que souhaitait le président Daniel Noboa, allié de Donald Trump. Depuis les États-Unis, l'agence Bloomberg parle de son côté d'une «défaite cuisante» et «surprenante», car les sondages laissaient présager une victoire du «oui». Mais le journal La Hora n'y voit pas uniquement un succès de l'opposition, car le «non» a été soutenu par différents courants, analyse le journal dans un éditorial. Dr. Mariani regularly provides professional development and training to school staff on a wide range of topics. She also co-authored the book Facilitating Evidence-Based, Data-Driven School Counseling: A Manual for Practice.

Evi Mariani - Media Freedom In March this year parcels containing a pig's head and the carcasses of dead rats were sent to the offices of Tempo magazine in Jakarta. The story made international headlines and led to an outpouring of support and condemnation from across Indonesia's mediascape and public more broadly. Known for its deep investigative reporting the magazine's chief editor described the brazen threat on its journalists as an act of terrorism. Just weeks after the attack on Tempo, the latest World Press Freedom Index downgraded Indonesia's rating across all indicators. Media organisations and news outlets across the world face inevitable decline and are struggling to maintain relevance in the face of competition from social media platforms, content creators and influencers. In Indonesia, mass layoffs of journalists are imminent as the old commercial model collapses. In response, a new, although undeniably small movement of independent journalism is pushing back with the aim of finding new ways to beat both the algorithm and those seeking to suppress press freedoms. So what is the state of the media in Indonesia today? What protections are in place for journalists and in the midst of political, economic and technological challenges, who will stand up for a free press? In this week's episode Jemma chats with Evi Mariani, journalist and co-founder of the independent journalism collective, Project Multatuli. He suffered from Crohn's disease for more than half of his life. and doctors told him he might not need his colostomy bag anymore.
