„Take It Easy“ steht für lässigen Sound, eingängige Melodien und pures Freiheitsgefühl. Der Song verbindet entspannte Vibes mit zeitlosem Rock-Charme und gehört für viele zu den Tracks, die sofort gute Laune und Roadtrip-Stimmung auslösen.

A Year in Music : 2026 - Dusk!#5Hey everyone,So the journey continues through all the music I've loved over the last year. I have tried to separate each playlist with a slightly different sound. This one is more deeper vocal house. I do enjoy this sound so much. It's been my favourite for a few years now, I started upside down on this one, deeper in the beginning, with a softer slower energy to the end. Enjoy this playlist. I know some of you like it deep !Happy listening !TRACK LIST :1 Summer Rain Felix Cartal & Reo Cragun 2:572 I Can't Wait (feat. Poppy Baskcomb) Tiësto & Solardo 2:533 Need A Lover (feat. After getting out of the hospital last week, the one thing the doctor wanted me to do was take it easy. I figured that would be a simple thing to do. I quickly found out it wasn't so simple. Even when I'm relaxing, I'm often multitasking. That's how my brain works, and I’m trying to slow down. Things have been tough. I joked with the doctor and told him he didn't have to worry about me running any marathons. But while I could work, and drive, and do most things without restriction, the rules were simple: take it easy. I'm not as active as I was years ago, and even over the last few years, I've slowed things down. But I didn't realize just how difficult this new task would be… Click Here To Subscribe Apple PodcastsSpotifyAmazon MusicGoogle PodcastsTuneIniHeartRadioPandoraDeezerBlubrryBullhornCastBoxCastrofyyd.deGaanaiVooxListen NotesmyTuner RadioOvercastOwlTailPlayer.fmPocketCastsPodbayPodbeanPodcast AddictPodcast IndexPodcast RepublicPodchaserPodfanPodtailRadio PublicRadio.comReason.fmRSSRadioVurblWe.foYandex jQuery(document).ready(function($) { 'use strict'; $('#podcast-subscribe-button-13292 .podcast-subscribe-button.modal-69cbf79d4d114').on("click", function() { $("#secondline-psb-subs-modal.modal-69cbf79d4d114.modal.secondline-modal-69cbf79d4d114").modal({ fadeDuration: 250, closeText: '', }); return false; }); });

Travels With Randy Route 66 Episode 6 is here! Something Something Something Winslow, Arizona Route 66's Steepest Climb Randy discussed his journey along Route 66, focusing on the steep climb from Ash Fork to Williams, which he described as the steepest on the route. He explained that modern vehicles easily navigate this challenging terrain, unlike the early 20th-century cars that struggled to ascend. Randy also mentioned encountering abandoned cars along the route, which he finds fascinating and takes pictures of, though he lacks the expertise to identify many of the makes and models. Automotive Industry Consolidation History The discussion focused on the history of the automotive industry, with Randy sharing that a Ford Model T cost $250 in 1926 (equivalent to $4,500 today) while a Packard cost $3,300, and that there were 1,800 different car companies in the United States in the 1920s, compared to just three major companies today (Ford, GM, and Stellantis). They discussed how the industry has undergone significant consolidation over time, with many companies failing during the Great Depression and World War II playing a crucial role in Jeep's survival. Bubba noted parallels between the automotive industry's history and the current AI landscape, where many companies may eventually be consolidated down to a few major players. Williams: Route 66 Gateway The discussion focused on the history and significance of Williams, Arizona, as a key stop along Route 66. Randy explained that Williams was the last town bypassed by Interstate 40, which was notable because they negotiated three distinct entrances and exits in exchange for being bypassed. They discussed the town's history as a gateway to the Grand Canyon, despite Route 66 not directly reaching the canyon, and highlighted the presence of the Grand Canyon Railway, which still operates train service from Williams to the Grand Canyon. The conversation also touched on the Harvey Hotels, which were prominent railroad stops with elegant dining and lodging, with La Posada in Winslow being one of the few remaining original Harvey houses. Flagstaff's Route 66 Resilience The discussion focused on the history and significance of Flagstaff, Arizona, as a key stop along Route 66. Randy explained how Flagstaff survived and thrived despite the construction of Interstate 40, attributing its success to the establishment of Northern Arizona University and the presence of the Lowell Observatory, where Pluto was discovered. They discussed Flagstaff's unique dark sky ordinance requiring neon lights to be turned off 30 minutes after business hours, and Bubba shared a personal story about his son's astronomy class at NC State, where students can remotely control satellites to take pictures of celestial objects like galaxies Route 66: Winslow's Revival Journey The discussion focused on the history and development of towns along Route 66, particularly Winslow, which gained fame from the Eagles' song "Take It Easy." The town transformed from a ghost town to a popular tourist destination after building a park and statue on the corner referenced in the song. The conversation also covered Two Guns and Two Arrows, two nearby towns with different attractions, and mentioned that Route 66 passed through the Petrified Forest National Park before being rerouted. Route 66 Maintenance Challenges Randy discussed Route 66, highlighting its historical significance and the challenges in maintaining the original road for a national bike route. They explained that while some states have completed their sections, others like Arizona and New Mexico have not, making it dangerous for cyclists. Randy shared experiences driving through the Petrified Forest, describing its stunning rock formations and the transformation of the Painted Desert Inn into a visitor center. They noted that after Flagstaff, Route 66 becomes less maintained and less accessible, with many dead ends and issues with tribal land permissions. Route 66 Exploration and Challenges Randy shared his experience exploring Route 66 in Arizona, including visiting a 50,000-year-old crater and the town of Winslow, famous for the song "Take It Easy." They discussed the challenges of maintaining businesses along the less-traveled Route 66 compared to Interstate 40, noting the abundance of abandoned gas stations and trading posts. Randy highlighted the unique attractions in towns like Holbrook and Winslow, and mentioned plans to continue exploring Route 66 into New Mexico in the following week. Route 66 Podcast and Preservation Randy and Bubba discussed their ongoing Route 66 podcast and social media project, noting their growing Facebook following of 25,000 and plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign in mid-March. They explored the challenges of preserving Route 66, including the need to complete certain sections to enable a bike path, and shared their concerns about younger generations losing interest in road trips. Bubba suggested the idea of renting classic cars along Route 66 to enhance the travel experience, and both agreed on the importance of capturing nostalgia for future generations. They also discussed their use of AI, specifically Beth, to assist with their project and the potential for future developments in automated driving. SO. MANY. ☉I promise to be honest, With myself, my family and friends, For even though it may upset, We will all give thanks in the end. ☉Hola New Paradigmers!That's a good Sagittarius Sun for you, on the quest for truth, natural law, and the meaning of life. Today we have not only the Sun, but Mars conjunct Black Moon Lilith (who wants the truth, the WHOLE truth, and NOTHING BUT the truth damn it!), and Venus coming along Sunday to complete the Sag party. I see this week as holding great potential for success and advancement in many areas of life. Which areas of your life will be seen by looking at the houses of your natal chart where this "kite" formation falls, particularly Venus as she is the tail. She is the planet of love and money and when she's in a grand trine with Jupiter (the great benefactor) and Saturn (business) we may all see some great good fortune!In addition to these aspects, in today's report I also discuss not only the Sabian symbol which brings up the challenges that inevitably come to those practicing radical honesty, but that Venus is also in opposition to Uranus. Oppositions to Uranus can work in a number of different ways depending on just how attuned you are to your own truth or "individuality." If you are, then sudden opportunities and surprises can open new doors and relationships for you. If you're not, Uranus will disrupt, shock, and upset your "little ego plans," facades, and the masks you are hiding behind. As Uranus is at the apex of the kite, our work is to either initiate or accept radical change. Let's go for it!Last but not least, this week we have both Mercury and Saturn stationing to go direct. Communication, business, projects, and dreams are going to start moving forward again. It might be slow, but, like a freight train pulling out of the station, while it may take some time to get rolling, once it is, it will be hard to stop! If we've done our homework, reflected on where we have been, are, and want to go on a soul level, synchronicities will confirm our right choices and we'll intuitively know when, where, and how to go. As I said in the report, the nice thing about this grand trine in water is that it supports us in relaxing, calming down, and making decisions from a more centered self. Absolutely wonderful aspects for Thanksgiving if you're celebrating it and a great week if you're not!This week's song is "Take It Easy!" https://youtu.be/9KQKJLELs9w?si=9xeVACIinZcx-XD9So Much Love,Kaypacha☉

In this episodem we explore the remarkable journey of Bernie Leadon, the multi-instrumentalist and songwriter whose artistry helped define The Eagles' early sound. Often called the unsung hero of The Eagles, Bernie's contributions — from intricate guitar and banjo work to his soaring harmonies — helped shape a sound that has resonated for decades.From his early exposure to bluegrass and folk music in Minneapolis to his groundbreaking work in the West Coast country-rock scene, Bernie Leadon has remained a quiet but powerful force in American music. In this episode, we follow Bernie's path before, during, and after The Eagles, all the way to his most recent solo album, where he revisits the roots that first inspired him.Bernard Leadon III was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, into a family that encouraged both creativity and education. While his father worked as an aeronautical engineer and his mother was a teacher, it was the sounds of bluegrass, folk, and country that truly captured young Bernie's imagination.By his teenage years, Bernie had mastered guitar, banjo, mandolin, and dobro, instruments that would become central to his career. After moving to San Diego, he immersed himself in the local music scene, connecting with influential figures like Chris Hillman and Gram Parsons, who would later become pivotal in the country-rock movement.Before joining The Eagles, Bernie Leadon played in several key bands that helped define the emerging country-rock genre. He worked with Hearts & Flowers, Dillard & Clark, and most famously, The Flying Burrito Brothers. During this period, Bernie became known as a musician who could add texture and authenticity to any song. His instrumental versatility and collaborative spirit made him highly sought after, setting the stage for his next big move.In 1971, Bernie Leadon joined Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Randy Meisner to form The Eagles. His influence was immediate. On the band's debut album, Eagles (1972), Bernie's mastery of the banjo, guitar, and mandolin was showcased on hits like Take It Easy and Peaceful Easy Feeling. His harmonies and songwriting contributions, including Train Leaves Here This Morning and Bitter Creek, helped define the band's distinctive country-rock sound.Bernie continued to shape The Eagles' music on Desperado (1973), On the Border (1974), and One of These Nights (1975). However, as the band gravitated toward a rock-oriented direction with the addition of Don Felder and later Joe Walsh, Bernie felt increasingly disconnected from the evolving sound. In 1975, after years of touring and creative differences, Bernie famously left the band, marking the end of an era for both him and The Eagles.Following his departure, Bernie Leadon remained highly active in the music industry. He became a respected session musician, contributing to recordings by Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Stephen Stills, Randy Newman, and many others. In 1977, he released his first solo album, Natural Progressions, blending his bluegrass roots with rock and folk influences.Over the decades, Bernie continued to perform, collaborate, and record — he returned to The Eagles' “History of the Eagles” tour in 2013.Today, Bernie Leadon has returned with a reflective new solo album called "Too Late to be Cool" showcasing the depth and authenticity that have characterised his entire career. In this episode, we talk about Bernie's journey, his thoughts on music, and what it means to create art on his own terms. Bernie's story is a testament to creativity, versatility, and staying true to one's musical voice.Whether you're a lifelong Eagles fan, a lover of country-rock, or someone curious about the musicians behind the music, this episode is packed with insights, stories, and reflections. Bernie Leadon may not always have sought the spotlight, but his impact on American music is undeniable.
Can you become a rock legend if you grew up on country music and tipping cows? NJ took the Kansas out of Glenn Alexander, and in part 2 of our conversation (because I just couldn't make it any shorter!) he explains how the music he grew up with had so little to do with the path his chose. Oh. And I did my best to embarrass him (and I think I succeeded!).
Ever feel like you're caught in life's turbulence with no escape button? After a week of corporate travel, bumpy flights, and the constant rush that defines modern existence, I discovered once again that my motorcycle holds the key to reclaiming peace of mind.There's something magical about peeling off business attire, throwing on your favorite riding gear, and hitting those familiar roads as the sun sets. My "Masonville loop" – a simple 25-mile ride through the foothills west of my Colorado home – transforms from a physical journey into a spiritual reset. The contrast is striking: from the collective "whoas" of nervous airplane passengers to the peaceful "ahs" of solitary riding.Motorcycling creates the perfect conditions for natural mindfulness to flourish. Like the Eagles sang about taking it easy, or Lionel Richie's smooth reminder about being "Easy Like Sunday Morning," riding helps us shed expectations and reconnect with the present moment. It's a moving meditation where the journey truly becomes the destination. No schedules, no digital distractions – just you, your bike, and the rhythm of the road allowing your mind to finally breathe. When was the last time you gave yourself permission to simply take it easy? Maybe it's time to gear up, roll out, and rediscover that peaceful, easy feeling that's waiting for you on two wheels.#gofastdontdie
