☉I promise to be honest, With myself, my family and friends, For even though it may upset, We will all give thanks in the end. ☉Hola New Paradigmers! That's a good Sagittarius Sun for you, on the quest for truth, natural law, and the meaning of life. Today we have not only the Sun, but Mars conjunct Black Moon Lilith (who wants the truth, the WHOLE truth, and NOTHING BUT the truth damn it!), and Venus coming along Sunday to complete the Sag party. I see this week as holding great potential for success and advancement in many areas of life. Which areas of your life will be seen by looking at the houses of your natal chart where this "kite" formation falls, particularly Venus as she is the tail. She is the planet of love and money and when she's in a grand trine with Jupiter (the great benefactor) and Saturn (business) we may all see some great good fortune! In addition to these aspects, in today's report I also discuss not only the Sabian symbol which brings up the challenges that inevitably come to those practicing radical honesty, but that Venus is also in opposition to Uranus. Oppositions to Uranus can work in a number of different ways depending on just how attuned you are to your own truth or "individuality." If you are, then sudden opportunities and surprises can open new doors and relationships for you. If you're not, Uranus will disrupt, shock, and upset your "little ego plans," facades, and the masks you are hiding behind. As Uranus is at the apex of the kite, our work is to either initiate or accept radical change. Let's go for it!Last but not least, this week we have both Mercury and Saturn stationing to go direct. Communication, business, projects, and dreams are going to start moving forward again. It might be slow, but, like a freight train pulling out of the station, while it may take some time to get rolling, once it is, it will be hard to stop! If we've done our homework, reflected on where we have been, are, and want to go on a soul level, synchronicities will confirm our right choices and we'll intuitively know when, where, and how to go. As I said in the report, the nice thing about this grand trine in water is that it supports us in relaxing, calming down, and making decisions from a more centered self. Absolutely wonderful aspects for Thanksgiving if you're celebrating it and a great week if you're not! This week's song is "Take It Easy!" https://youtu.be/9KQKJLELs9w?si=9xeVACIinZcx-XD9So Much Love,Kaypacha☉

In this episodem we explore the remarkable journey of Bernie Leadon, the multi-instrumentalist and songwriter whose artistry helped define The Eagles' early sound. Often called the unsung hero of The Eagles, Bernie's contributions — from intricate guitar and banjo work to his soaring harmonies — helped shape a sound that has resonated for decades. From his early exposure to bluegrass and folk music in Minneapolis to his groundbreaking work in the West Coast country-rock scene, Bernie Leadon has remained a quiet but powerful force in American music. In this episode, we follow Bernie's path before, during, and after The Eagles, all the way to his most recent solo album, where he revisits the roots that first inspired him.Bernard Leadon III was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, into a family that encouraged both creativity and education. While his father worked as an aeronautical engineer and his mother was a teacher, it was the sounds of bluegrass, folk, and country that truly captured young Bernie's imagination.By his teenage years, Bernie had mastered guitar, banjo, mandolin, and dobro, instruments that would become central to his career. After moving to San Diego, he immersed himself in the local music scene, connecting with influential figures like Chris Hillman and Gram Parsons, who would later become pivotal in the country-rock movement. Before joining The Eagles, Bernie Leadon played in several key bands that helped define the emerging country-rock genre. He worked with Hearts & Flowers, Dillard & Clark, and most famously, The Flying Burrito Brothers. During this period, Bernie became known as a musician who could add texture and authenticity to any song. His instrumental versatility and collaborative spirit made him highly sought after, setting the stage for his next big move.In 1971, Bernie Leadon joined Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Randy Meisner to form The Eagles. His influence was immediate. On the band's debut album, Eagles (1972), Bernie's mastery of the banjo, guitar, and mandolin was showcased on hits like Take It Easy and Peaceful Easy Feeling. His harmonies and songwriting contributions, including Train Leaves Here This Morning and Bitter Creek, helped define the band's distinctive country-rock sound.Bernie continued to shape The Eagles' music on Desperado (1973), On the Border (1974), and One of These Nights (1975). However, as the band gravitated toward a rock-oriented direction with the addition of Don Felder and later Joe Walsh, Bernie felt increasingly disconnected from the evolving sound. In 1975, after years of touring and creative differences, Bernie famously left the band, marking the end of an era for both him and The Eagles.Following his departure, Bernie Leadon remained highly active in the music industry. He became a respected session musician, contributing to recordings by Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Stephen Stills, Randy Newman, and many others. In 1977, he released his first solo album, Natural Progressions, blending his bluegrass roots with rock and folk influences.Over the decades, Bernie continued to perform, collaborate, and record — he returned to The Eagles' “History of the Eagles” tour in 2013.Today, Bernie Leadon has returned with a reflective new solo album called "Too Late to be Cool" showcasing the depth and authenticity that have characterised his entire career. In this episode, we talk about Bernie's journey, his thoughts on music, and what it means to create art on his own terms. Bernie's story is a testament to creativity, versatility, and staying true to one's musical voice.Whether you're a lifelong Eagles fan, a lover of country-rock, or someone curious about the musicians behind the music, this episode is packed with insights, stories, and reflections. Bernie Leadon may not always have sought the spotlight, but his impact on American music is undeniable.
A unire i punti.Riferimenti: 1. “A Gathering of Flowers: Content Curation History in Other Words” – Robin Good Un viaggio nella storia della curation come pratica editoriale e intellettuale. Post Malone BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Post Malone has been firing on all cylinders over the past week both musically and in the public eye. In a widely circulated backstage video posted August 27, Posty treated fans to an impromptu cover of The Eagles' classic Take It Easy, showcasing his soulful vocals and igniting calls across social media for a full studio version. Fans and music writers alike are now clamoring for an official release with Whiskey Riff noting just how eagerly listeners are awaiting that moment. He is currently winding through a packed international tour schedule with recent and upcoming festival dates in major European cities like Milan, Berlin, and London, most recently headlining in Milan on August 27 and in Zürich and Munich this weekend according to Whiskey Riff.Perhaps the biggest headline for Post Malone is his slated performance at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on September 7, as confirmed by outlets from US96.3 to WEIS Radio and Daily Fly. This marks his highly anticipated return to the VMA stage—the first since 2018—and he is up for Best Collaboration with Blake Shelton for their single Pour Me a Drink, a pairing that has further cemented his cross-genre appeal. He will perform alongside names like Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, Sabrina Carpenter, and Ricky Martin in a show touted as one of the biggest VMAs lineups in years, set to be simulcast live on both CBS and MTV.Business-wise, Post Malone made headlines with another milestone—announced as the 2026 headliner for the Carolina Country Music Festival, signalling his evolving presence in the country music world and foreshadowing more first-time surprises for fans per Netflix Junkie and the official CCMF release. Meanwhile, Rolling Out reports that he also just released a new collaboration track called Brother with DJ Khaled and NBA YoungBoy, an unexpected trio reflecting Post's genre-blending musical instincts. There have been no major controversies or negative press in recent days; instead, the tone across news and social media is overwhelmingly positive, with fans praising his musicianship, his new country collaborations, and his willingness to experiment. While posts speculating about an upcoming studio cover of Take It Easy are unconfirmed, interest is surging and it would not be surprising if a full version surfaced soon. This is a moment of important and potentially long-lasting career evolution for Post Malone, as he continues to straddle genres, grow international audiences, and reassert himself as a force in both pop and country music.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOta
Can you become a rock legend if you grew up on country music and tipping cows? NJ took the Kansas out of Glenn Alexander, and in part 2 of our conversation (because I just couldn't make it any shorter!) he explains how the music he grew up with had so little to do with the path his chose. Oh. And I did my best to embarrass him (and I think I succeeded!).
Ever feel like you're caught in life's turbulence with no escape button? After a week of corporate travel, bumpy flights, and the constant rush that defines modern existence, I discovered once again that my motorcycle holds the key to reclaiming peace of mind. There's something magical about peeling off business attire, throwing on your favorite riding gear, and hitting those familiar roads as the sun sets. My "Masonville loop" – a simple 25-mile ride through the foothills west of my Colorado home – transforms from a physical journey into a spiritual reset. The contrast is striking: from the collective "whoas" of nervous airplane passengers to the peaceful "ahs" of solitary riding.Motorcycling creates the perfect conditions for natural mindfulness to flourish. Like the Eagles sang about taking it easy, or Lionel Richie's smooth reminder about being "Easy Like Sunday Morning," riding helps us shed expectations and reconnect with the present moment. It's a moving meditation where the journey truly becomes the destination. No schedules, no digital distractions – just you, your bike, and the rhythm of the road allowing your mind to finally breathe. When was the last time you gave yourself permission to simply take it easy? Maybe it's time to gear up, roll out, and rediscover that peaceful, easy feeling that's waiting for you on two wheels.#gofastdontdie
Glenn Alexander isn't a household name. . . but you've certainly heard him play. His guitar riffs are legend, but his ego is all but hidden in his humble demeanor. From Southside Johnny to Peter Gabriel to Bob Dylan, those "in the know" know he is the cat to call when you need an awesome . . . may I say?. . . guitar god.

Mark 2:23-28One sabbath he was going though the grainfields, and as they made their way, his disciples began to pluck heads of grain. 24 And the Pharisees were saying to him, "Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?" 25 And he said to them, "have you never read what David did, when we as in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him: 26 how he entered the house of God, in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those who were with him?" 27 And he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. 28 So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.

Send us a text#323 - Throughout life, we're told that as we get older, we should relax, take it easy, retire somewhere in the sun and then what...... we're supposed to just fade away? I am of the opinion that there's no reason to give up running or being fierce and strong as we age. Being older is not the time to take it easy. Aging takes strength and fierceness. Sure, it make take us longer and we may not be able to do the same races at the same times we once did, but there's no reason to give them up! Let's take on aging like a knight taking on a fire-breathing dragon! Everyone ages but that doesn't mean that we have to accept it without a good battle!
