More and more people are claiming to be spiritual but not religious. It offers an attractive alternative to the bleakness of atheism and the dogma of religion. After all, you get to come up with your own customized, bespoke approach to connecting with a higher power. But it also comes with some haunting questions: “How real is this spiritual connection I have? And is it personal enough to satisfy me?” Maybe it’s time to give historic Christianity another look. Because it’s only in Jesus Christ that we can experience a spiritual connection real enough to satisfy our minds and personal enough to satisfy our hearts. On this Tuesday episode of the Raising Godly Girls Podcast, hosts Natalie Ambrose and Melissa Bearden embark upon a journey to understand God's design for girls' bodies and how we can guide them Biblically in this self-view.     From the Body Positivity Movement to AI modeling trends, Natalie and Melissa begin to unpack the nuances of these cultural messages and their effect on girls. Melissa offers a gentle reminder that Christ-followers do not obsess on lateral comparisons, since that leads to self-loathing and discontentment.     Both hosts share their personal journeys with fashion trends and learning to embrace the bodies God gave them. Melissa's boldness to be present and live in the moment serves as an empowering challenge to many moms and mentors who might shy away from an activity if it means donning a swimsuit! Natalie shares about the value of self-talk and intentionally keeping that in a positive territory and how that serves as a direct example for her middle school aged daughter.    This episode centers on two timeless truths—welcoming God's blessing from Genesis 1:31 and embracing that His design for our bodies is indeed "very good" and having the wisdom to reject a cultural fashion trend when it is rooted in deception. Natalie offers listeners a kind reminder that the 'very good' blessing is from a Creator who is infinitely good Himself.    Two Things to Consider:    Embrace the Embrace—if God the Masterful Artist has created a girl's body as 'very good' then she should embrace her body's unique and good design.   Reject Trends Rooted in Deception—since the trend machine is designed to keep girls self-loathing and clamoring after the next thing, guide her to shift her thinking into a more contented mindset.      Scriptures Referenced in this Episode:    Genesis 1:31  Psalm 139:13-16  Proverbs 16:31  2 Corinthians 10:5  Genesis 3:6  Genesis 21:6  Judges 4    Explore more resources to raise girls rooted in Christ at raisinggodlygirls.com.      To find or start an American Heritage Girls Troop in your area, visit americanheritagegirls.org.

Why do followers of Jesus talk about Him everywhere they go?In this sermon from Acts 1:1–11, Pastor Clayton teaches that witnessing isn't reserved for professionals or pastors—it's what every believer was created and re-created to do. From Genesis to the birth of the Church, God's plan has always been to fill the earth with His image and His story.Jesus tells His disciples they won't receive a timeline or a kingdom—but they will receive power. In this Saturday episode of the podcast, Dr. Esau McCaulley joins host Patti Garibay to talk about a Biblical approach to ethnic diversity in God's Kingdom. This episode serves as an invitation to lift our eyes beyond my world and to behold the breathtaking beauty of God's design for humanity, and how His Church should lead in that design.    Dr. McCaulley's work involves serving as a founding pastor, podcaster, author, and public theologian—on top of being a husband and father. Esau unpacks his motivation for the many facets of his work—from God's covenant with Abraham through to the Holy Spirit's work in the world today. Esau passionately reminds us that diversity isn't something we should be afraid of—it's something we should embrace, because God's Word does.    Hear Dr. McCaulley's compassionate wisdom to guide childhood paths case by case into alignment with God's heart. Esau reminds that kids mirror parents, so when Christian parents speak respectfully about others—whether alike or different from their family—this serves as a Christ-like example to the kids.     Through personal story, Patti shares about diversity encompasses differing abilities as well as racial background.    Esau shares how his local church body uses the vehicle of community outreach and service to extend God's heart to embrace and love. He reminds that God's compassion is implicitly connected to evangelism and spreading the Gospel. Both Esau and Patti agree that children can lead all of us through eyes of childlike faith—pure, innocent, and passionate.     Dr. McCaulley and Patti land the conversation by unpacking God's perspective on justice and fairness and how that plays out in our daily life as Christians.       Scriptures Referenced in this Episode:    Genesis 12  Revelation 5:9  Romans 1:16-17  Ephesians 2:4-5  Mark 10:14  Luke 18:1-8    To learn more about Dr. Esau McCaulley and his work, visit esaumccaulley.com/     Visit raisinggodlygirls.com for more encouragement and faith-based parenting tools.      Learn how to find or start an American Heritage Girls Troop in your community at americanheritagegirls.org.

In this heartwarming Saturday episode, American Heritage Girls Executive Director and Raising Godly Girls Podcast host Rachael Culpepper interviews Erin and Eden Geiger. The conversation surrounds the many ways God forms a daughter's identity in Christ through a parent's ongoing journey of faith with the Lord. Rachael invites listeners to take in today's episode with their teen girls to spark at-home conversations.    The father-daughter duo discuss Eden's book, 50 Days to Embracing Who God Says You Are, written during Eden's junior year of high school. Sharing her testimony of a "wilderness season" with the Holy Spirit, the two guests reflect on their growth together as a family when this awakening shifted their home.     Eden recalls being the only Christian on her high school club volleyball team and how that threatened to encompass her identity and her future. With the anchor of her mother's resolve, Eden was called back to her foundation in the Lord. From self-comparison, idolatry, self-worth, social media, and anxiety, hear Eden walk through a relevant season that many of today's faith-filled girls struggle with.     A distinct highlight of the conversation comes when Erin shares that a girl's identity in Christ is sealed through Scripture, releasing girls from the pressure to perform and easing her into a lifelong rhythm with the Lord.        Scriptures Referenced in this Episode:    Ephesians 2:10          To learn more about Eric & Eden Geiger's ministry, visit ericgeiger.com     Explore more resources to raise girls rooted in Christ at raisinggodlygirls.com.    To find or start an American Heritage Girls Troop in your area, visit americanheritagegirls.org.

You'll hear practical examples of how free-market principles align with Scripture, and why forced redistribution robs both dignity and compassion. Rob also calls believers to set their hearts on their true citizenship—not in any earthly nation, but in heaven. What You'll Learn in This Episode: - The difference between freedom economics and control economics - Why socialism depends on forced generosity and robs personal dignity - How biblical charity differs from government redistribution - What the Bible teaches about work, wages, ownership, and responsibility - Why being "heavenly minded" makes us more effective on earth Scriptures Referenced: 2 Corinthians 9:7, Ephesians 4:28, Revelation 21, 2 Peter 3:11-14 Resources: Help Families Around the World Follow Jesus – Learn how you can partner with Visionary Family Ministries to expand biblical teaching, training, and outreach in 2026: https://visionaryfam.com/family2026 Make a Gift – Your donation equips churches and strengthens families with Gospel-centered resources: https://visionaryfam.com/support Connect With Us: Have a question or prayer request? Biblical Talks  In this episode of Biblical Talks, SD and Lady V dive into Exodus 13:17-22 from the New International Version. This passage beautifully showcases God's unwavering love for His people, a love that continues to be just as powerful and present today. And that is even more reason for us to look to God.  Now, in the passage mentioned, the people of God lost faith. Even though God rescued them from Egypt and freed them from slavery, they quickly forgot His kindness, mercy, dedication, and above all, His love.  When we turn to God for help and guidance, He always has our best interests in mind, even when it doesn't make sense to us.  With that in mind, have you read Exodus 13:17-22?  If so -- what are your thoughts? This is your time to receive the Gift of Salvation through Christ Jesus.  Now, you may be wondering, "Why do I need that?" Oh, I'm so glad you asked. The Bible says, that because  Adam ate fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil -- he released sin into the world.  And ultimately, Adam's sin brought death and death spread to everyone.  No doubt, you may be thinking, "Of course, everyone is going to die." But, my question to you is "Where will you spend eternity?" Because there is life after death. In fact, when you die you go to one of two places -- heaven or hell.  Also, it is important to understand that Adam's sin also brought an eternity in hell. But for those who choose not to receive the free gift of eternal life. Thus, you must make that choice before you take your last breath.  Romans 5:17 New Living Translation says,  “For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God's wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.”  To sum it all up, Romans 6:23 New Living Translation says,  “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”  So, if you are reading this, don't let another day go by without receiving this life-changing gift.  Scripture   Romans 10:8-10 New Living Translation says,  “8 …“The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” And that message is the very message about faith that we preach:  9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”  Salvation Prayer  Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins. What makes a great friend—and what makes a great church? In life, the people around you will either lift you higher or hold you back. Paul knew this well. In his final letter, he listed his friends, his enemies, and everything he learned in between. He found gratitude even for the ones who left him—because they revealed the ones who would never leave. In this message, discover five qualities that define every great friendship and every strong church:1. They lift you up – they make you better just by being around them.2. They let you out – they see the potential in you and help you step into it.3. They let you in – they create a space where you belong.4. They level you out – they keep you grounded when life gets out of balance.5. They look you up – they remind you that your story isn't over yet.Because real friends don't just show up when it's easy—they show up when you're ready to give up. And the best kind of friend? The one who points you back to purpose.Scriptures Referenced:2 Timothy 4:9–22Acts 9:17–18Acts 9:30–31Acts 11:26True friends lift you, lead you, and love you enough to remind you—you're not done yet.

In this episode, we urge believers to pause and ask critical questions: Which Jesus are people proclaiming? Is this the gospel of the kingdom—or a gospel mixed with nationalism and politics? In this timely episode, they explore: ✅ Why "Jesus plus anything" equals nothing ✅ The difference between revival FOR God vs. OF God ✅ How to test the spirits in this cultural moment ✅ Why God is not American (and why that matters) ✅ The danger of confusing political movements with spiritual awakening ✅ What true repentance and revival actually look likeThis isn't about being cynical—it's about being discerning. We want to see genuine revival, but we must ensure people are meeting the real Jesus Christ, not a political figurehead or cultural Christianity.⚠️ Key Warning: Paul said if anyone preaches another gospel, let them be accursed (Galatians 1:8-9). When the gospel gets mixed with politics, nationalism, or any other agenda, it loses its power to save.

We discuss the implications of that answer. Second, Jehovah God asks, “To whom do you listen?” Our response determines how we live. Through it all, we were led to fix our eyes on God's love, seek intimacy with Him, and live from a place of surrender and confidence in His view of us.

In this powerful and deeply honest episode, I'm joined by Callie Gualy—faith-filled Pilates instructor and founder of Sunshine Pilates. We dive into a much-needed conversation about body image, mindset, and what true freedom in Christ looks like when we renounce the things that aren't from God. Callie shares her personal journey of walking away from new age influences, finding her rhythm in motherhood, and learning to honor the body God gave her—not just for how it looks, but for how strong it is. Together, we talk about the often unspoken pressure on women to stay small, quiet, or ashamed—when God has actually called us to live boldly and walk in truth. This episode is an invitation to silence fear, doubt, and failure—and to start walking in the confidence and freedom that only Jesus gives. Whether you're struggling with body shame, feeling stuck spiritually, or needing a reminder that obedience opens doors, this conversation will meet you right where you are.

Have you ever felt like your thoughts are running the show—and not in a good way? Maybe you're doing all the right things, showing up in every role you play, but joy still feels out of reach. You smile for everyone else, but inside, your mind is cluttered with worry, overwhelm, and mental exhaustion. And the harder you try to “just stay positive,” the more it feels like a performance… not peace.I've been there, too. And here's the truth most people miss: joy isn't a mood you manufacture—it's a fruit you receive. It's not a personality trait or something you earn by trying harder. Biblical joy is a fruit of the Spirit, a gift from the Holy Spirit that grows when you slow down, renew your mind, and align your thoughts with God's truth. In today's episode, we're exploring how faith-based joy can become your daily mindset reset—even in the middle of a full, multifaceted life. You'll learn how Christian joy strengthens your spirit, anchors your thoughts, and becomes a natural rhythm of your biblical self-care routine—rooted in Christ, not circumstances. So if you're ready to stop spiraling and start standing firm, take a deep breath and settle in. There's a better way to think, live, and care for yourself—and it begins with joy.Scriptures Referenced in the EpisodeGalatians 5:22Hebrews 13:5Deuteronomy 31:6Philippians 4:8Recipes Mentioned in the EpisodeMango Orange Banana SmoothieWant to savor more goodness?I'm so excited you're here!
