Jared Wolfe is now one win away from a battle field promotion from the Korn Ferry Tour to the PGA Tour. We caught up with Jared before he tees it up his next event at the Savannah Golf Championship It has been quite the journey for Wolfe, who turned pro out of Murray State in 2010. He missed 15 of 17 cuts in his first full season on the KFT. He lost his card and didn’t regain it until 2018, when he lost it again. After winning last season on PGA Tour Latinoamerica, he got a third try on the KFT, and he ended up winning the second event of the season last January in the Bahamas. Stephan Jaeger has had quite an amazing career up to this point. He shot 58 at TPC Stonebrae in the Elie Mae Classic, and went on to win the event. He won twice in the 2016 Web.com Tour Season over 3 weeks, securing his PGA Tour card for the 2018 season. Played in the Open Championship, and made the cut in his first go around. Through 5 events on his first PGA Tour campaign, he's made 4 cuts with a T20 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. In this episode we go over his college career at UT Chattanooga, playing on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica, winning on the Web.com Tour, not getting his PGA Tour card and how that was actually a good thing for his career, and his goals for the 2018 PGA Tour season as a rookie. Chris and Mike met in Colombia for the PGA Tour Latinoamerica stop in Medellin in 2016. Chris wanted to have Mike on the show to discuss the mindset behind going low, having fun in golf when its hard to, and balancing your game when your family is so involved in golf. Mike is a fun loving dude who can absolutely play. He has multiple sub-64 rounds in Latinoamerica, a few of them being course records. It was really fun to pick his brain about what it takes to go low and the kinds of things he works on to make his playing career better in all definitions of the word.
