– Jeśli miłości do sportu nie zaszczepimy u dzieci, to one w dorosłym życiu nie będą go uprawiać. To jest bardzo ważne, żeby pamiętać o tych najmłodszych i to będzie mój cel na najbliższe lata – stwierdziła Marta Rosińska, która przed dwoma tygodniami została prezesem Stowarzyszenia Korona Handball Kielce.   Była szczypiornistka m.in. Piotrcovii Piotrków Trybunalski, Olimpii – Beskid Nowy Sącz, Zagłębia Lubin oraz kieleckich klubów Vive, KSS i Suzuki Korony Handball była jedyną kandydatką na to stanowisko i została wybrana jednogłośnie. Skład zarządu uzupełnił były reprezentant Polski w piłce ręcznej, który przez dziesięć lat występował w Vive Kielce, prywatnie mąż nowej prezes, Tomasz Rosiński.

Od ponad roku działa w Kielcach Stowarzyszenie Piłki Ręcznej Invest Handball, którego cechą charakterystyczną jest nowoczesne podejście do szkolenia dzieci i młodzieży. Oprócz treningów prowadzonych przez licencjonowanych szkoleniowców, młodzi sportowcy otrzymują m.in.: wsparcie psychologiczne, opiekę trenera od przygotowania motorycznego, czy konsultacje u specjalisty ds. odżywiania. Inicjatorem tego przedsięwzięcia i prezesem stowarzyszenia jest Łukasz Michalski.

Początkowo miała cztery metry, a później rozbudowano ją do ośmiu. Co roku organizowane są na niej zawody. W tegorocznych 5. Skokach Amatorów o Puchar inSJders wzięła udział rekordowa liczba, ponad 80 zawodników z całej Polski.   Obiekt powstał na podwórku Mateusza Seremaka. Jak doszło do powstania skoczni? Wszystko za sprawą synów gospodarza, Kacpra i Miłosza.

Daria Pikulik, która w Paryżu została wicemistrzynią olimpijską w kolarstwie torowym w konkurencji omnium, odwiedziła rodzinne strony. 27-latka urodziła się w Skarżysku-Kamiennej i przez pierwsze cztery lata życia mieszkała w Gadce w gminie Mirzec. Później rodzina utytułowanej kolarki przeniosła się do Darłowa. Daria Pikulik oprócz tytułu wicemistrzyni olimpijskiej, ma w swoim dorobku brązowy medal mistrzostw świata w omnium wywalczony w 2020 roku w Berlinie. Rok temu została wicemistrzynią Europy w tej samej konkurencji, a w sumie w czempionacie Starego Kontynentu stała na podium sześć razy.

Niesamowity sukces młodej motocyklistki z Zagnańska. 12-letnia Julia „Taddy” Jantarska na torze Slovakia Ring 40 km od Bratysławy zdobyła brązowy medal mistrzostw Europy w wyścigach motocyklowych w klasie Mini Road Racing. Zawodniczka ze świętokrzyskiego była jedyną dziewczynką i jedyną Polką w stawce podczas wyścigów na Słowacji.

Jakub Chrobot z Nosanu Kielce to wschodząca gwiazda nie tylko polskiego bilardu. Na rozgrywanych pod koniec lipca w Słowenii mistrzostwach Europy, 15–latek sięgnął po złoty medal w odmianę 14/1, który był dla niego pierwszym krążkiem zdobytym na imprezie tej rangi. W kolejnych dniach młody kielczanin startujący w kategorii juniorów młodszych powiększył swoją kolekcję o  brązowy medal w ósemkę oraz złoty w rywalizacji drużynowej. Jakub Chrobot dzięki wywalczeniu tytułu mistrza Starego Kontynentu otrzymał nominację na wrześniowe mistrzostwa świata w Nowej Zelandii.

Kielczanie Wojciech Hińcza i Wojciech Zielonko po raz trzeci z rzędu zostali mistrzami świata w piłce ręcznej oldbojów powyżej 50 lat. Zespół MHT Pabianice, w którym występują wychowankowie kieleckiej Korony, w finale turnieju w chorwackiej miejscowości Omiš, pokonał Old Boys Budapest 19:16. Wojciech Hińcza był bramkarzem Korony i Iskry Kielce. W drużynie seniorskiej zadebiutował w wyjazdowym meczu w Płocku z Petrochemią, ale niedługo potem zakończył karierę. Wojciech Zielonko był lewoskrzydłowym, który w barwach Iskry trzykrotnie sięgnął po tytuł mistrza Polski (1993, 1994, 1996). – Znamy się już ponad 40 lat – podkreśla Wojciech Hińcza.

Do stolicy Tajlandii pięściarka SK Kickboxing Kielce leciała w dobrym humorze, po zwycięstwie w silnie obsadzonym turnieju Golden Gong w Skopje. W stolicy Macedonii Północnej reprezentantka Polski wygrała w finale z aktualną wicemistrzynią świata Kariną Ibrahimovą z Kazachstanu.

Od lat pięćdziesiątych począwszy od Zdzisława, który był znanym w całym kraju szkoleniowcem młodzieży, wszyscy członkowie familii związani są z królową sportu, a w szczególności z rzutami. Obecnie Katarzyna jest jedną z najlepszych rzucających młotem kobiet w Europie, Grzegorz to trener miotaczy, a także prezes ŚZLA, a głowa rodu Stefania zajmuje się sędziowaniem i wyszukiwaniem młodych talentów.

Dla 35-letniej pięściarki SK Kickboxing Kielce będzie to ostatnia okazja do wywalczenia paszportu na tegoroczne, najważniejsze wydarzenie dla każdego sportowca. Sandra Drabik udaje się do stolicy Tajlandii w doskonałym humorze, po zdobycie złotego medalu w silnie obsadzonym turnieju  Golden Gong w Skopje. W finale reprezentantka Polski wygrała 4:1 z Kariną Ibrahimovą z Kazachstanu, która jest aktualną wicemistrzynią świata w wadze 57 kg.

Samochody elektryczne już od kilku lat stają się coraz bardziej popularne w codziennym użytkowaniu, jak również coraz więcej takich aut startuje w zawodach. Podobnie jest w motocyklami, które już powoli wkraczają w środowisko sportów motocyklowych. Podczas  I i II rundy mistrzostw Polski w rajach enduro można było zobaczyć, jak radzą sobie takie maszyny na torze. Z determinacją i pasją postanowił stworzyć drużynę hokejową, pomimo braku tradycji tego sportu w regionie. Jego wysiłki mogą być początkiem czegoś wielkiego - szansą na rozwój hokeja w Świętokrzyskim oraz na zainspirowanie kolejnych osób do uprawiania tej dyscypliny. O swoich początkach z łyżwami i historii niczym z filmu „Reggae na lodzie” opowiada prezes skarżyskiego klubu hokejowego, propagator tej dyscypliny a także bramkarz w zespole Piraci Skarżysko – Michał Fiereńczuk.

Wiesław Rożej został przez kapitułę 72. Plebiscytu Świętokrzyskie Gwiazdy Sportu uhonorowany tytułem „Zasłużony dla Świętokrzyskiego Sportu”. 72 – latek jako junior uprawiał biegi w Budowlanych, był działaczem Żaka Kielce i Olimpu Końskie. Na bieżni większe sukcesy odnosiły jego dzieci – Iwona, Marek i Damian. W grudniu 2009 roku objął ster w Świętokrzyskim Związku Lekkiej Atletyki. Zanim został prezesem wiele lat pełnił funkcję sekretarza, a następnie wiceprezesa zarządu związku. W 2021 roku postanowił już nie startować w wyborach na prezesa. Kilka kadencji zasiadał w komisji rewizyjnej Polskiego Związku Lekkiej Atletyki. – Ta nagroda jest zwieńczeniem mojej ponad 50 – letniej pracy – stwierdził Wiesław Rożej.
